Korang pernah tak beli lipstick atau lipmatte tapi bila pakai tu jadi warna lain? Kawan korang pakai warna sama pun kesan dia jadi lain? Pernah tak hadapi situasi macam tu?
Pernah viral satu video Tik tok di mana dalam video tersebut, tik toker Monica dan Jazzi telah mengoles lipmatte yang sama pada bibir masing-masing tapi menghasilkan kesan warna yang berbeza! Cuba korang tengok video diorang bawah ni:-
Menarik kan? Dari video ni, dikatakan ini adalah kesan daripada teori warna atau COLOR THEORY. Teori warna ini berkaitan dengan undertone kita. Kalau dalam video ni, kita boleh nampak Jazzi ada cool undertone dan Monica ada warm undertone. Lepas oles lipmatte tu, bibir Jazzi nampak warna coklat dan bibir Monica nampak warna merah jambu. Ini bermakna kesan warna lipmatte bergantung pada skin undertone kita.
Ha lepas ni kalau nampak kawan pakai gincu macam cantik je, kita kena periksa dulu undertone kawan kita tu warm ke cool. Sebab takut bila kita pakai tak sama warnanya macam kawan kita pakai.

How Andrés Reisinger Brought his Digital ‘Take Over’ Series to the Physical Realm
Andrés Reisinger‘s now-iconic Take Over series quietly blossomed on a sleepless night ‘as a simple exercise of creation‘. Curious about the booming potential of Artificial Intelligence, the Argentinian artist began experimenting with his dream-like digital imagery, but this time at the scale of cities. In less than a year, what started as a personal artistic project quickly grew into show-stopping collaborations for physical iterations in cities like Jeddah and Miami and with brands like Hourglass Cosmetics in New York City and Golden Goose HAUS in Venice.

The series, which transcends geographical boundaries into the virtual plane, takes place in major international capitals such as London, Rome, Paris, Tokyo, and New York City, engulfing their historical architecture in surreal pink and white drapes, each one more playful and pleasing than the next.

Speaking of context, the distinct designs for each iteration — digital or physical — quietly reflect the cultural landscape in which they blossom. ‘Just as in the digital version, the physical ones speak of their hosting cities too,’ he says. In his digital series, furry Take Overs are found in colder cities like Amsterdam; inflatable patterns are set amid the sleek streets of Munich; voluptuous and sweeping drapes are cast upon the desertic planes of Dubai; and so on. Even for his real-life piece in Jeddah, the artist seems to recall traditional clothing or textiles with frilly edges bordering each layer of fabric. ‘Rather than a literal inspiration, I would say they are nods and interpretations of their cultural spirit that are reflected in small, almost imperceptible details of the installation,’ elaborates Reisinger.

IRL Sixsona Designs Pt. 2: Makeup Edition
Hey y'all! This is second in a series of a few extra sixsona posts that @lightleckrereins and I are doing this week. The first post is here, showing the real-life vinyl inspirations we used!
This time around, I'm doing yet another hypothetical: what makeup would be used for each sixsona design!! My list of makeup recommendations for Six cosplayers is probably the post I'm second-most proud of (after sixsonas ofc). When I was initially working on that I kept seeing makeup that would be perfect for some of our sixsona designs, so because I have absolutely zero chill of course I had to figure out the full makeup plots for each.
The basic rules were - one glitter - one eyeshadow palette - and two additional products to fill in any gaps, as needed (this included fun stuff like an extra glitter or liquid liner, but also practical things like additional eyeshadow shades when needed or a liquid base for more sheer colors)

so i know you have a lot of different sugary scented soap and lotion. i was wondering, do you mix scents or do you decide on a specifuc scent that day? like is your bodywash one dessert and your shampoo a different dessert? also, do you have any recommendations for places online to buy nice soaps?
HAHA YOU ASKED ME THIS RIGHT AS MY MOST RECENT BOX CAME IN TODAYYY I'm so happy and my room smells like candy now!! I do tend to just decide based on the mood I'm in that day!
Anyway, here's a few shops I recommend if you like sweet treat scents!! Most of them do both fragrances as well as other things like lotions, wax melts, candles, soaps etc. so you have a lot of options.
Nose Food Fragrance Shop (the shop owner is on hiatus currently but it's where I got my most recent stuff from! They have SO MANY scents to choose from, it's insane.)
Sugar Milk Co. (also an amazing selection and I've loved everything I've purchased from them so far! My only issue is they tend to be on the pricier side.)
Ancient Cosmetics (LOOK AT THEIR BODY BUTTERS. THEY NOT ONLY COME IN DELICIOUS SCENTS BUT THEY'RE AFFORDABLE TOO!!!!!! DEALS GALORE.)
Burke & Hare Co. (their main focus are candles, but this is where I get my more autumnal scents during the Halloween season.)
Haus of Gloi (I've been ordering from this shop for probably a decade now, ngl. Their perfumes are amazing and they always come out with fun seasonal options depending on the time of the year! One of my favorite scents from them is 'Ghost Puffs' which is literally marshmallow popcorn and trust me it smells JUST LIKE IT.)
As for specifically only soap, I'm a big fan of Pacha Soap Co. as well as just browsing Etsy for scents and soap formulas that look interesting to me! I'm always down for trying new stuff, tbh.

Aphrodite: Cosmetics Conglomerate
The Whitman family is founded from humble beginnings that burgeoned into a multinational empire, weaving a saga of ambition, beauty, and the enduring legacy of Whitman Cosmetics. The company's roots trace back to a small perfume shop run by first generation immigrants, eventually evolving into a Midtown Manhattan-based powerhouse resulting in Whitman Cosmetics being known as a a multinational cosmetics company, manufacturer and marketer of makeup, skincare, perfume, and hair care products. First Whitman (76) serves as the CEO of the company, unable to step down as she hasn’t found a “suitable replacement” yet - much to the chagrin of her husband, First Stirling (75), who stepped down as the CFO for Whitman Cosmetics two years ago and just wants to retire in peace.
Their eldest child, First Hawthorne (48) has ventured into the family business as a fragrance chemist for the company, focusing on aromachology and how fragrances can impact mood or feelings. She and her husband First Hawthorne (49) have started their own small family with two children. After their father retired, the role of CFO was handed down to the eldest son, First Whitman (46) who was an extremely able and capable candidate for the role, though many in the company took it as a bit of a slight since he had not worked for Whitman Cosmetics as long as other candidates in the running. Regardless, alongside his wife First Whitman (46) and four daughters, he has managed to perform well in the role while contending with the pressure to find a successor CEO when his mother retires.
The remaining siblings have all ventured around Whitman Cosmetics in one way or another: First Whitman (42) is a professional model and has long been the face of Whitman Cosmetics, but finds himself grappling with the inevitable challenge of aging in an industry fixated on youth. Meanwhile, First Whitman (37) is the Chief Marketing Officer for the company and is trying to usher in a new generation of marketing strategies by collaborating with his younger brother First Whitman (35), a social media influencer and socialite that is always attending the classiest of affairs in New York City.
To aid in gaining the attention of younger generations are the twin daughters, First Whitman (33) and First Whitman (33). Using their family name and their own unique skills in the cosmetic industry, they have leveraged their family name and resources to establish a private boutique in Manhattan where they work as a makeup artist and hairstylist respectively, providing high end clientele with everything they might need in order to look their best. They have recently started to collaborate with First Cheng (39), hoping to combine her talents as a fashion designer to create an entire creative fashion Haus in the heart of New York City and take their family reputations and wealth to new heights.

VARIETY MAGAZINE INTERVIEW WITH DES DUHFAUX
Interview conducted by Francis Pulinz
The entertainment industry Has a lot of different "go-to " people When you're trying to make it in the business and or become a notable celebrity. (Talent usually helps). In past times most people who needed entertainment work hired an "agent" to find them the right gigs and in the music industry "managers" were essential for keeping potential gigs and venues interested in hiring certain acts. Then once you become famous, the next most essential thing u need is either the right pr team and or publicist to put your talent and accomplishments on display, to the world. Primarily, planet Earth.
MHI MEAUX HAUS INTERNATIONAL is a PR (public relations) agency that was founded by celebrity PUBLICISTS Suzette Feria & Des Duhfaux. The former colleagues (and Co-CEO$) started the agency from the ground up with basically a handful of celebrities as clients to begin with. Des Duhfaux , who is in charge of the business for zone 3+ 4. And suzette (who is stuck on planet Earth), manages zone 1 +2.
Since this branch of variety mag is situated in late zone 4 , we got in touch with the very private + withdrawn celebrity publicist EXTRAODINARE herself, Des Duhfaux, for a very exclusive interview.
VM: Good to have u here Des, how are things?
DD: things are ok, I'm still stuck here on another planet, after all. But I'm optimistic.
VM: SO, u came from earth, I guess. Sorry about all this.
DD: no problem, when work calls I have to answer. I'm drawn into adventure. As the witch wizard of the northeast, I'm in demand. So as long as it doesn't conflict with my family life, I can stay a little longer to assist.
VM: Let's get to the point. You're a celebrity publicist and Co-CEO of your own PR company. Was that started here or there?
DD: I completed my schooling on Earth. I intermitedley have traveled to and from here and earth to complete the remainder of my professional degrees. I have a bachelor's degree in marketing management from UCLA. A certficate in public relations from UC IRVINE + A MASTERS DEGREE IN PUBLIC RELATIONS/ IMAGE MANAGEMENT FROM CAL STATE FULLERTON. all between zones 2 and 3. Well mostly 3 on Earth.
VM: ok so the celebrity client base. Who are we dealing with here?
DD: um, what do you mean?
VM: MHIS CELEBRITY CLIENTS.
DD: Gwen Stefani, Cole Sprouse, Cameron Diaz, Margot Robbie, Diplo, The white stripes, Timothee Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Carmen Electra, Pamela Anderson, Anthony Karlo, Suki Waterhouse, Bill Skarsgard+ many more. Some of our brands are Origin natural energy, Waikea water, Fenty beauty, nudestix + sapphire sky cosmetics.
VM: Are you ever "starstruck" when meeting new celebs for publicity projects. ?
DD: Barely. I'm pretty used to networking with famous people. I come from a somewhat famous family background as well as my own personal endeavors- to say the least. And client /publicist confidentiality is the MOST important tool when creating promotional packages for celebrities. If any personal info about the celeb leeks that they don't want in the press or public eye, our PR team makes sure it's avoided. Yes, it's a tough job, very hard , but somebody's gotta do it…(laughs).

VM: Let's jump to what I'm reading here about your own entertainment career. Is celebrity publicist Des Duhfaux desiring to become a celebrity herself?
DD: Is that what it says? Ok well yea I'm working on new music under my stage name "Caryn Mixx" . I don't want to give too much away. But it's set to premiere in zone 3 @some point soon.
VM: Cool, so you are a musician too?
DD: my voice is my instrument, + light keyboard as well. So it's set .
VM: Interesting, I'll make sure to check that out. And you mentioned family life, or is that too private to discuss?
DD:: no . Not private, very public actually. I've spoken about my two failed marriages, virginity after rape + being an all around reformed human being that's taking it all in stride.
VM: rape? Sorry to hear that
DD: late years of high school. A student I had home studies with violated me at our designated testing location. I was mortified. Then two days later his older brother showed up + threatened to " bash my head in" if I told anyone. I was scared stiff.
VM: Did the case ever get reported?
DD: I didn't find the courage fast enough. This interview is it's debut.
VM: SO..that's why u feel two marriages failed?
DD: look, I'm going to be quite frank. The traumatic aftermath of rape had an affect on my psyche for roughly 3 yrs. I" revirginized", generated my next set of goals and moved on with my life. Around that point I enrolled in college and met my first husband.
VM: so what was that like?
DD: well mostly emotionless looks of love, "hand holding", & watching old classic films together+ that was about it. No sex.
VM: no sex?
DD: no sex. No trust. Has to be trust, then "relationship notary", and then more trust, then family approval, then possibly another glance at the possibility of intimacy.
VM: I see, ok so then the next marriage?
DD: after the first marriage I went back to working on my public relations internship through UC IRVINE in accordance with my public relations certificate. I met him through the college systems as well. It didn't work out because for some reason men want intimacy with a person they barely know. I'm still baffled as to how holding hands and kissing? Just isn't enough? Anyway, I'm over it.
VM: and you grew up in Burbank, CA?
DD: that's slightly off subject, but, yes.
VM: well is there anything else we should know about Des Duhfaux celebrity publicist+CO- CEO of MHI?
DD: Yea, that I'm from early zone 2 most specifically. Suzette, my partner + I grew up together, same everything. So we have a deep appreciation for zone 2, but, realistically I've been set to 1 and 3 to work on projects for other personas numerous times, so I'm not just involved in the publicity process, I'm a part of the "craft work" and onset process as well, by default.
VM: That's good news, well it was lovely talking to you.
DD: Oh sure, yea, thanks, u2.

Not Evan related but you said you worked with like cosmetics and stuff? Do you know any good anti aging skin care, makeup (I think Hauslabs (Lady Gaga’s brand might be one) but I wanted a second opinion.
i’m just big into skincare and cosmetics but i’m not a professional or worked in the field :)
i’ve never used haus labs and i’ve heard mixed reviews. i think it depends more on what you’re trying to combat. for aging/fine lines, retinol is great to add into your skincare routine. at first you may get dried out, but you have to stick with it. adding in a hyaluronic acid serum also helped me tons. cerave, the ordinary and paula’s choice are both brands that i use without problems. dr. jart face masks are my favorite.
for makeup, i am less fussy. i have so much makeup, too much makeup lol i’m not brand loyal, but IT cosmetics is a brand i like and has worked well for me. for face, i actually ditched foundation the last three years after revamping my skin routine during quarantine. i worked hard to improve my skin because i like the natural dewy look. one product i absolutely swear by is the urban decay stay naked concealer. best concealer ever imo. i’m using the first aid beauty ultra repair primer with hyaluronic acid and i love it for a clean base.

Client: Haus of Park Deliverable: Case study for Dior: Joy, to be published on the agency's new website (>300 words)

Challenge For its new fragrance Joy, Parfums Christian Dior wanted to an experience that was just as iconic as the launch of their last perfume J’Adore, which took the perfume industry by storm when it launched in 1999.
We knew the Joy launch had to highlight the stature of the fashion house’s fragrance and cosmetics branch and remind consumers that Dior was and has always been an icon in the rapidly expanding perfume market. Though we had our work cut out for us, our expertise in creative, experiential marketing meant we knew we had it covered.
Solution Instead of a single event, we produced a full day of immersive activations all throughout the city of Los Angeles. The launch was split into three parts, with each representing a different aspect of the fragrance.
The first event, held at the Beverly Hills Townhall, housed a large-scale installation that highlighted the notes used in the perfume. Guests were welcomed into the flower-filled townhall with a glass of champagne and were invited to explore Joy’s various scents.
The second event took place at a private villa on Sunset Boulevard. We transformed the location into a Dior brand wonderland. Guests were given a tour of the villa, where the product’s story and inspiration came to life before their eyes.
The third and final event was a private dinner at the Sunset Tower Hotel that culminated in the ultimate reveal: superstar Jennifer Lawrence as the Joy muse. And the Oscar-winning actress was even in attendance.
Result The Joy by Christian Dior product launch was deeply impactful. We created an experience that measured up to the sterling reputation of the Dior brand and received a positive reaction from the over 70 VIP guests that attended the event, including Joy muse Jennifer Lawrence.
Thanks to our creatively unconventional approach to experiential activations, the launch received widespread global media coverage. The success of this event is a testament to HAUS OF PARK’s ability to inspire and instill true fandom and brand loyalty.
