Hey lovelies! I’m back after deciding to try blogging again.
Well I can’t really say I’m back to blogging full-time because I’m also a full-time writer in RL and that basically takes up most of my time, but I do want to continue making new posts here every now and then!
I actually did make a new logo in December 2020 thinking that I’d start blogging again by January, but I’ve been way too busy since 2021 started that I only had time to make a new post now.
Anyway, the first thing I did as soon as I came back to Second Life last December was to update my avatar with some new mesh heads and mesh bodies. I particularly love the LeLutka Lilly head on the Maitreya Lara body.
After that, I also updated my virtual closet with some new clothes, skin, hair, and other stuff. I’ve been to several shopping and sales events since coming back to SL and I’ve definitely racked up a lot of new stuff that I’m planning to blog in the future. Even as I’m writing this, I’m constantly checking for updates on some events I’m looking forward to—including the March rounds of Engine Room and Harajuku Event.

+ bonus photo I didn’t upload to Flickr!
I took these photos at the Kagami Japanese Horror Event at Hakoniwa. I really had a lot of fun exploring the sim, taking pics, and shopping around! There’s also a horror-themed game you can play at the event, so you should check that out!
I haven’t had a chance to play the game yet, but I’m definitely going to try to play it before the event ends. The event runs until April 24, according to its website, so you still have plenty of time to visit and play the game if you haven’t yet.
This lady in a red dress is directly based on this artwork by Riyoko Ikeda, that also was on the cover of the iconic Gothic&Lolita Bible japanese magazine.
This is a little tribute to the EGL community for their support and love, so of course this will be available as an art print at the "Harajuku Kai" event in Barcelona next October 19!
