HAD to rant about wilsiri after seeing how little content it has compared to some other ships such as wilashe.. Like guys wilsiri needs more stuff its so goddamn lacking!!! On tiktok it has 200 while wilashe and noelclaire have 400-500 and on ao3 wilsiri ONLY has 13 fanfics while wilashe has 57 WHAT IS THIS DIFFERENCE...

So here's why I THINK wilsiri should be more shipped in the WH fandom (pls more content)

I LOVE WILSIRI so goddamn much they make me sick and unwell. They share like the death parallels which i find absolutely GRUESOME like? Wilardo wants to die like every goddamn second. And Sirius wants to live and stay alive but wilardo cannot die and sirius always ends up being killed first ALWAYS. And i really like that parallel. they also have matching personnalities with wilardo being quiet most of the time and sirius WANTING quiet after literally having strangers in his house living freely and stuff, like my guy is not happy and wilardo is the one giving sirius the quietness sirius needs for his sanity. Also the fact that like AT THE LEAST 80% of the reasons why wilardo didnt kill claire is bcs of SIrius. Because in Wilardo's scenario and sirius's conclusion WIlardo literally had a talk with sirius and they had gotten just a TAD BIT or even more closer from that one talk in the kitchen yk?? Like wilardo always hesitated and stuff from killing or not claire bcs he talked to sirius and sirus literally moved wilardo with JUST SOME WORDS OF ADVICE like the smallest thing made an huge impact on claire's survival. I CANNOT SEE THIS AS PLATONIC since literally wanting to kill to get what you've been wishing for FOR OVER 500 years. plus nothing would even matter since bros legit dead afterwards BUT NO Wilardo decided against the idea bcs he valued sirius and his words which literally helped him KEEP his humanity that he was struggling to keep. Like in wilardo's scenario sirius and him talked a bit BUT not enough and ashe encouraged wilardo BUT THE SAME THING HAPPENENED IN SIRIUS'S CONCLUSION but this time Sirius was still alive and wilardo and sirius got even closer. LIKE THEY HONESTLY NEED EACHOTHER IN A DEEPER WAY PLATONIC OR ROMANTIC WTV but needing someone to literally stay human, keep sane is NOT seen as platonic (IN MY MIND AT LEAST) Like rmbr when sirius walked in on claire with wilardo while he was doing his preservation thing and sirius and claire were like its nice that the flowers can stay beautiful and be preserved for a long time while wilardo said that he actually prefers flowers that wilts easily THATS A REFERENCE TO HIS IMMORTALITY bcs he has been preserved for way too long and yet Sirius keeps saying he still likes it bcs it has different virtues and meanings AND THE FLOWERS NOW DONT JUST REPRESENT LIFESPANS BUT PPL TOO bcs wilardo always avoided keeping ppl bcs they'd die BUT NOW HES STARTING TO LIKE PPL MORE which is proven by the ending when wilardo says he wants to stick around some more. Yk when sirus says he likes the flowers that are preserved for a long time ITS LITERALLY WILARDO. Unconcsiously saying he likes wilardo haha... (jk kinda?) PLUS THE fact that wilardo is one of the few people that sirius can actually tolerate. he has a soft spot or smth.. PLUS that talk in the kitchen again, it was so civil if someone else asked this, sirius would have NOT given the same answer or even agreed to answer AND THE WAY THE CONVERSATION WAS GOING i expected wilardo to call sirius cute /srs. AND WILARDO SMILES TOO and wilardo almost (literally never) NEVER smile and the only time wilardo has smiled it was for sirius and occasionally also at claire. LIKE DONT YOU RMBR HIM BEING ALL GIDDY AT THE END????? AND ALSO WHEN THEY RAN INTO EACHOTHER IN THE FOREST WHERE SIRIUS SO CASUALLY STARTED EXPRESSING HIS FRUSTRATION?? Like if it was ANYONE ELSE. ANYONE ELSE. Sirius would get angry and even more worked up LIKE HELLO??? DO YOU SEEE HOW CIVIL THEY ARE?? HOW THEY MATCH ECAHOTHER IN EVERY ASPECT?? HOW THEY NEED EACHOTHER FOR THEIR SANITY?? HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WILARDO ADLER FROM WITCH’S HEART!!!

I’m gonna ramble… don’t mind me. He is a character that means a lot to me and I really wanted to make a pretty drawing for his birthday. This took me maybe over a week to finish? I lost track of time doing this and so I kinda can’t remember how long it took for me to make this. The blue flowers resemble Claire, the purple flowers resemble Sirius, and the red flowers resemble himself. I gave him a flower crown too and I tried to make it look like his hair, necklace, etc was blowing in the wind.

Wilardo has honestly been my favorite character in Witch’s Heart since day 1 and I remember immediately thinking I would like his character as soon as he first appeared. Yeah, he seemed cold, but like I still figured I would adore this man annnnd…. Over a year passed, and I’ve continued to adore his character. I love his stoic and blunt personality that masks his soft heart and caring side. I always found his character development to be very meaningful as he started off more distrustful and indecisive with his decision making to slowly warm up to other characters by the end of the game (at least by the end of Sirius’ conclusion). On top of everything, I relate to him a lot so I often feel comforted knowing that he is a character that is pretty similar to me. Anyways, I think that’s all I’ve got to say about Wilardo…

"Are You Satisfied" by Marina fits Ashe's character perfectly

"it's not my problem if you don't see what i see" - believes that no one else can understand his pain

"my problem, it's my problem that i never am happy" - probably blames himself for a lot of his trauma, especially due to Matty's last words to him

"are you satisfied" - loses respect for Wilardo for giving up on his wish and not being as determined as him

"do i need to lie to make my way" - arguably the most deceptive character, earning Claire's trust so he can use it against her. it's a terrible thing to do, but it's necessary, in his eyes, to fulfil his goals

"high achiever" - was very much a "gifted child" back in school

"nothing comes for free" - this intelligence of his came at the cost of his "best friend" becoming jealous of him and killing his family

"driven by a greed to succeed" - his ambition to get the Witch's Heart is deadly and he is fully willing to sacrifice other lives for it

"if i want to pack up and run away" - after his family's death, he "vanished" from his town and began travelling to find a way to resurrect his family. he also "runs away" from the truth and lives in denial from the fact that his family is dead and not returning

"if i feel the need to smoke and drink and sway" - gets heavily drunk in Sirius' Conclusion before the day when he tries to kill Claire, likely to cope with it better

"it's my problem, it's my problem" - considers himself alone and believes that he has to carry his trauma and survivor's guilt all by himself

"if i feel the need to hide" - again, hides from the reality of his family's death because it's too painful to accept it. in addition, at the end of Sirius' Conclusion, after he finds himself unable to kill Claire outside the mansion, he runs away, ending up out of everyone else's sight by the time they wake up, likely out of shame

"it's my problem if i have no friends" - doesn't accept Richard's offer to vent about his loss

i won't liveblog any of my reactions on here, as well as talking abt any of the spoilers to make this acc entirely spoiler free : ] i plan to talk abt spoilers once everyone has played the game (it'll be tagged)

along w/ that, i won't rb much spoiler content of wilardo conclusion (if i do, it'll be under the tag #wilardo conclusion spoilers for people who don't want spoilers on their feed/still currently going through the game)

YOU UNDERSTAND!!!!!!! This subject has driven me insane for so long god like. I don't even know what to add other than like. Everything. here

That like - throughout the series Noel is always insisting that he doesn't really have a place in Claire/Sirius's lives is so painful, especially in the SC ending where he kinda dies alone, thinking he's happy, is... it's always been so aghh and so sad. Especially since neither of them are ever let in on the situation, Sirius sometimes a little bit but never enough to understand what's happening to Noel, and even in that ending he and Claire are told that Noel went off somewhere, so they don't even know he's dead. And yes, especially given Claire literally has memory loss - that despite all the scenes where she insists she wants to remember, a part of her life just goes erased, is really depressing... but Noel always thinks that's for the best. In both conclusions thus far, Claire doesn't even know Noel is her childhood friend and given their bond in Noel's route that's just... so sad. Because they could reconnect. And Claire wants to. And you bet Noel wants to but he'd still insist it's for the best they don't. (I guess in the conclusions she'll find out eventually, since Sirius lives in all the routes thus far and will probably tell her, but it won't matter because Noel is basically dead...)

AND RIGHT I'M REALLY GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED HOW LIKE - how Claire felt lonely and she mentions being jealous of seeing people with their families - and the way she has nightmares and the erased memories - especially those of Noel seem to be haunting her.

And I've also always seen Lime and Noel reflecting each other - both willing to drive themselves into the ground, but in different ways.

I also didn't really expect them to get into this in Wilardo's Conclusion. I knew from the OP video that there would be SiriNoel in there but I didn't really expect it to be like - a situation where Noel finally has someone. It's just so telling, the scene where Noel takes multiple steps back from Sirius in fear after what was revealed, and Sirius is kinda just like "no i'll hear you out"

Unfortunately it does still feel like Noel only said what was necessary about the monster stuff - Noel has still gone through like. So much shit that nobody will ever know about. Some of it the demons know, but a lot of it they don't. And it's... agh. But still, knowing Sirius heard him and recognized as least a small portion of his pain and that Noel doesn't end going "ah this is for the best that I die without them" and instead crying over his memories and the fact that Sirius doesn't hate him is, definitely a step up for him mentally I think. I still think there is so much on the table, that like - Sirius still doesn't know even the half of the ways in which they could understand each other, and I felt like they didn't form the kind of understanding I think they have the potential to, but that Sirius recognizes that Noel must be suffering and that he must've felt guilty this whole time and it leads to them finally connecting is. my tiny heart...

And yeah i've. I think i actually made a post about this before but the awful irony of the fact that these two people who are alone and need connection could have connected. That they didn't have to be alone. But because Noel felt all this time like he could never let Sirius in on anything, that he could never really speak to him, that connection never happened, despite the fact that Noel letting people in on things usually ends up turning out better... I don't blame Noel for that (good lord one day I'm gonna have to post the analysis on the ways his trauma impacts his current behavior) but it's so horribly tragic and sad that all this time things could have gone okay and they could've connected but noel just never. Tried opening up. But at the same time it's so wonderful that they finally did get to have that moment

Especially that Sirius wants to help him. I think that's really important because Noel is always so hesitant to ask for help, and when he does it's only ever ultimately for Claire's sake. He never like... thinks to ask anyone to help him with his curse, with the intense burdens he has to carry, I don't think that even exists as a possibility in his mind. So Sirius deciding to help him, is, it's, hgh <3

Noel has such a terrible self perception and his behavior is just so often self destructive so it's just. I'm happy to see him get a better ending and to connect with Sirius

I'm sorry this is like only kinda coherent. And a lot of it is just restating what you already said. But you really captured a lot of what I've been feeling for quite some time.

every day i think about how much shared trauma sirius & noel have. every day i think about the fact that they were both hurt most by nicholas and both harbor anger and fear towards him. both witnessed a witch hunt as children. both were present for the massacre and feel like shit over what happened to dorothy. both were orphaned (i mean ok. who in this series wasn't literally everyone's family is dead in this game)

and like... noel gets sirius and knows the ways he was traumatized and i dont think noel even realizes part of the reason he can sympathize with sirius so easily is because he went through a lot of the same things

but sirius doesn't really get noel like Ever because noel. never tells him shit. THERE IS SO MUCH TRAUMA BONDING POTENTIAL HERE AND YET...

we do not actually know enough about noels curse like. Is he a demon? No becuase he ages. Is he a human? No because he cant be out during the day and he turns into a fucking monster. He can carry magical amulets and barely be harmed. He can see demons and communicate with them like claire does. 

i feel ... we need more info to like. deduce how tf noels conclusion is gonna go because the only way i can see noel being happy is 

1. its only him and claire that get out

2. its only him and the otehr guys that gets out

3. its him and lcaire and the other guys but one guy sacrifices (prolly wilardo)

4. He Doesnt get out (but somehow reacehs a fulfilling conclusion

Headcanons for Wilardo's birthday for the 26th?

His birthday was announced on his placard in bonus stage, I was quite happy about that actually. On to the festivities.

So Wilardo has never truly been big on birthdays.

Being alive for roughly five-hundred years and being a nihilist does that to a person.

He’s not all that into parties and doesn’t really see a need for gifts.

This sure doesn’t stop Claire and the rest of the gang from wanting to do something for him.

Claire and Ashe work on a cake for an entire day.

Noel the evening before, spent his nocturnal hours making plans for that next evening.

Claire had wanted his help and by god would he do his best.

Sirius on the other hand skimmed through his choices of tea’s, he’s shared with Wilardo on occasion. So he felt he’d pick out one to have over dinner and another during dessert.

Though Sirius was more in tune with Wilardo than the others, realizing immediately that a celebration like this may not be something the florist would even be interested in.

Though no one else listened to him since the lot of them were too excited in making the festivities.

Plus Claire was in denial, “Who wouldn’t want a birthday?!”

This being the case, Sirius decided to make a back up plan of his own in case things fell through.

Wilardo was intuitive, he figured the lot of them were up to something as soon as Noel dodged him the night prior. First asking odd questions and then rushing off to his room early for the evening.

That made him squint.

Next was Ashe, who as silver-tongued as he was, couldn’t slip something past Wilardo’s fantastic bullshit detector. So the gunner understood that him and Claire were doing something in the kitchen, noticing the scent of sugar.

Sirius was the easiest for him to speak too, so instead of the two spending their day alone as they otherwise would. They spent it in each others company.

Sirius had planned for this, brewing tea for the two of them and handing the other a cup. “I hope this is to your liking.”

A pause as his thumbs brushed the smooth porcelain of his own cup, “Wilardo, you seem rather tense.”

The florist grunts, giving a nod before taking a sip of the warm brew. The tension in his shoulders dropping instantaneously. “Eh…? Siri, is this that one you gave me last time?”

He nods, “Lavender and Chamomile.” Sirius then takes a sip before setting the cup aside.

Wilardo lounged back in the chair, “I dunno man. Everyone’s actin’ fuckin’ strange. Kinda like they’re planning a party. Which I sure as hell hope isn’t for me if that’s what they’re doing.”

Sirius fell silent, listening intently to the other as he continued to ramble.

“Birthday’s…are pretty depressing to me. Especially…nah…nevermind.” He takes another swig from the cup, staring at the wood grain of the table.

Sirius blinks, his hand resting against his cheek. “Have you perhaps considered shifting perspective in regards to why someone would hold a party for you?”

Wilardo squinted at the Lavender. “The hell are you on about, Siri?”

Sirius sat back with a huff, flourishing his wrist as he spoke. “If you gave it some firm thought. I believe you’d come to the conclusion that it’s because those people care immensely for you and would like to see you happy. If only for a moment.”

Wilardo’s face melted into one of confusion as he just stared at the other. “So depending on a few things or another. People throw birthday’s not only to celebrate the day but to try and show how much they care about a person?”

Sirius nodded, “More or less.” He then flashed a grin over to the other. “Sometimes it’s best to look things over in multiple perspectives to avoid jumping to conclusions. Don’t you agree?”

Wilardo nods and they sit in silence until evening.

Sirius is the one to bring him to the dining hall, though instead of the usually sour expression Wilardo would normally have on his birthday. It was replaced with a faint smile of which none but Sirius had seen before.

The evening was more or less a blur. Wilardo was of course quiet, simply watching the others interact or occasionally he’d talk with him.

Though what he was focused on, were the memories they were building here and not the party itself.

Whether his journey would end tomorrow or in the distant future. He wanted to remember the faces, names and personalities of the people he’d come to call friends here.

As much as his chest hurt at the mere thought, it was brushed away when Sirius placed a silent hand on his shoulder.

Yet another cup of tea had been set in front of him.

As Wilardo took that sip, he wanted to remember this too.

OUGH okay so it has been like a trillion years since ive seen witch’s heart. and ive also seen sirius conclusion but i probably forgor. so.

Yea getting Ashe to not have a villain arc is gonna be a tough one

Wilardo is a discord mod and is desperate to get himself a 14 year old discord kitten (death) so winning him over is gonna be easy. Not only that but he’s got a fucking gun so if we have him we’ve gotten an Ashe repellant. Noel is head over heels so instant win. Wilardo is a manloser that needs to have a conversation with more than three phrases with Claire so if we immobilise him or point a gun to his head I’m sure he’ll happily listen and get him to be a good guy

None of these guys exclude eachother, so it’d be narratively possible to get them all on our side at the same time against a common enemy. The main question is if Ashe would be the final boss or Lime, because motherfucker has been pulling triggers since day one under the others’ noses and the only clues we’ve gotten about this have been blink-and-you-miss-it moments, which I think it’s too subtle if that’s what they’re going for? If it’s for the shock value there is no surprise, and if it’s for a grand scheme there have been way too little clues for it to be like a revelation that ties knots. I honestly also see the possibility of her either not revealing it at all, or for it to get swept under the rug immediately because of Ashe or smth

The game doesn’t feel to be headed towards fully breaking Ashe and then helping him slowly heal either, I think they’re just gonna either leave him in the mud or straight up kill him, which I don’t think would be satisfying endings for me

Then again, the conclusion is probably going to have 4 paths to make each boy happy or to get what they want, with maybe a secret Claire 5th ending where what she wants is for everyone to be okay, but who knows

TLDR: the conclusion is on thin fucking ice in terms of satisfying endings for me. but I still have hope that something great will come out. also for psychological damage read the 4th line

this is less a theory and more an analysis bc i've played bonus stage but not sirius conclusion! so here are my predictions/thoughts for the conclusions :] obligatory 'spoilers under the cut'!

overall: I think it absolutely makes sense that we start with Sirius's conclusion. He's been on Claire's side nearly the entire time, and has no desire for the Witch's heart. All Claire really needs to do is to sit down and have a proper conversation with him :] the real issue would be handling ashe and wilardo, hmmm.... I also assume the demon in the house by the bench is relevant (aka lady dorothy) bc gavi has drawn fanart of sirius next to that monster so OFC. OFC GAVI WOULD DRAW ANGST. IT HAS TO BE LADY DOROTHY

Likewise, it makes sense that Wilardo's conclusion is next. All we need to do to get HIM on our side is to give him the extra Witch's heart. Then he can die and it all works out!

I expect Ashe to be third. I DO think he'll be VERY difficult to manage-- he doesn't know that the WH can only grant negative wishes, so i suspect that he will... struggle with that realization. He's been latching onto this wish for so long that I'm not sure what he'll do with himself when forced to confront the grief that he's been trying to run away from ^_^ cannot wait to see him suffer it'll be GREAT. I do think we might have to get someone else on our side as a defender/protector from Ashe-- he might decide that two WH are more powerful than one, after all! I just want to see him morb <3

Noel HAS to be last. he HAS TO BE, his ONLY WISH IS FOR CLAIRE TO BE OKAY SO IT MAKES SENSE THAT HIS CONCLUSION WOULD COME LAST <333 his would be unquestionably sad-- i wonder what claire would want to wish for... im not sure how to give him a happy ending :( i would LOVE for him to be freed from hell but. thats still a POSITIVE WISH. WITCHS HEARTS CANT DO THAT,,

mechanics wise tho it ABSOLUTELY makes sense that Bonus stage and the conclusion are all separate games-- if we consider playing the base game over and over again to be the different loops (as you can always go replay a scenario that you've already unlocked, thus you as claire can keep looping), then it makes SENSE that bonus stage is separate; it IS a separate loop bc its meant to be the LAST one. Likewise, it makes sense for the conclusions to all be separate because they aren't MEANT to be connected in the same way that the scenarios are!

Likewise, I think it's impactful that we CANT give everyone a happy ending in the same route. we HAVE to choose, and that's so fascinating to me!
