"Fuck!"

Amia grumbled as she glared at the piping bag in her hands, her attempt at decorating her cake going absolutely terrible.

"Ughh, he'll be home any minute.."

They whined, pacing back and forth. What to do..?

Before she could even think on it, the lock clicked, and she knew he was home. Scrambling to turn the lights off, she grabbed a handful of confetti, waiting for him to step inside.

"I'm ho-"

The moment Mikoto flicked the lights on, Amia threw the confetti in the air, a grin on their lips.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"

Mikoto's eyes widened, and he gaped as he looked around. The apartment had a very haphazardly hung birthday banner, a few balloons, and a shit ton of confetti that'd be a mess to clean up later. A big grin stretched across his lips, and he was quick to bring Amia into a hug, kissing her forehead.

"Love! You didn't have to!"

"But I wanted to! Here, I.. Eh.. Tried to make you cake!"

They scrambled to the kitchen before running back, proudly showing off the poorly decorated cake. Mikoto would almost laugh if it weren't for the very clear amount of effort they put into it.

"Wow.. Thank you, love."

The evening is spent with lots of laughter, with Amia smearing frosting onto Mikoto's cheek and Mikoto doing the same. They shared the cake, stuffing themselves full, and settled down in the living room to watch his favorite movie.

And even though Amia's horrible attention span caused her to fall asleep, her head leaning against his shoulder, Mikoto found that he didn't mind.

As long as he could spend his birthday with them, he'd be happy.

I just love how the art quality gets progressively worse as you scroll down LOL

Anyway since it’s kinda been a tradition for me to rehash the entire year out by month, let’s do that again!

January I celebrated the 1 year anniversary of my Sim AU!! It’s really ridiculous to think I made that AU after season 2 ended and now Voltron is over I’m honestly in shock lol

February Awww yeah that’s when I did my Senyuu Valentines!! I will always love Shion for the rest of my life thanks

March This was when I was REALLY into TTS!! I drew so many pictures of Varian lol. The Moon Theory concept gave me a lot of practice with drawing glowing things, too!

April Always gotta do the Mother 3 tribute :’) I’ve done it the past three years in a row and I’m not stopping now lol. I’ll always treasure this game!

May MY LEGENDARY PMD SPRING PLAYTHROUGH...I will never forget the sheer epicness!! Also I would still die for Chimchar in an instant, BEST PARTNER FOR LIFEEEE

June I was involved in the PMD Zine and this was my final piece!! I got in a lot of practice for drawing backgrounds so yeah it was a total blast. I’m still so grateful I could be part of the zine, and it turned out gorgeous!!

July TAKU TAKU TAKU!! I love my shitty guildmaster boy who everyone else also loves and cherishes. He’s so terribly great lol

August Trustedpartnershipping time >:3c (Also I can’t believe that particular post hit 1k THANK GOD) The best Pokeani ship hands down man

September Eruba’s birthday!! We all love the trashy Senyuu son. I’ve gotten really good at drawing blood mostly because of him LOL

October BACK INTO MY BNHA KICK!! This was the first time I’d ever drawn Toshi and it turned out so wonderfully. I love one (1) accident prone hero and his accident prone dad thanks

November And this was when I got back into Undertale again, after like three years :’) I’m really glad I chose this time to replay it since Deltarune dropped like right after lol. And I LOVE me some Underblossom //clenches fists

December Season 8 WHOMST?? I spit in the face of canon and take Lance and Keith, they are mine now thanks

Looking at how far I’ve progressed in the last four years, I’m really impressed :0 I get better every month lol so I’m super proud of what I’ve accomplished!

For those of you who have stuck with me this entire year, or even previous years, thank you so much!! Ya’ll are super cool and I’m glad you stuck around :’D I hit 10k this year too which is a HUGE honor so I’m like. Enormously grateful. I’m really happy with how far I’ve come!! Here’s to hoping 2019 isn’t as much of a dumpster fire as this one lmao
