Finished my Good Omens Halloween animation thingy! In time! I’ve never done anything as complex as this before and it probably has waaaayyy too many things going on in the background, but it was just so much fun to draw and animate all of this. Hope you like it. Happy spooky season, everyone!

As night fell on All Hallows Eve and darkness smothered the wild west Highlands of Scotland with a dense, velvety black, Algy still could not take his eyes off the strange bat, which continued to swoop round and round over the mysterious pool in the peat bog, its eyes glowing with an unusual orange light.

As Algy knew only too well, a fluffy bird just can't be too careful in these ancient Celtic lands, especially on Halloween, but although he tried to break away, he found that it was quite impossible, and before long Algy began to feel as though he were going round and round too, and then the entire world started to revolve…

But as Algy spun helplessly around the flapping bat, he reflected to himself that at least he wasn't going round widdershins, and so everything would probably be all right in the morning… he hoped!

Happy Halloween everybody – just make sure that if you feel you are spinning, you go around clockwise tonight! 👻😎😉

This was going to be for the Halloween animation I was working on but I changed my mind and I’m gonna work on another Halloween animation with just killer sans because I wanna draw him more!!

Halloween Animation Last Day! Over the Garden Wall

So I actually did an animation every day this month!

I am so pleased every year to see how over the Garden Wall is praised and loved to point this this year Aardman is going to make a special on its 10th anniversary. I also always considered in a general fall special, so appropriate to still watch throughout the season. After all, if Xmas keeps pushing itself back, Halloween can push itself further, hence xmas horror.

What was supposed to be a little Halloween animation thingy is turning into a monster project. My old writer's brain, which hasn't had anything to do for ages, has decided that this needs lots and lots of background details. Which is a problem, because whole thing is about an angel walking down a street... which means he's walking past various shops. Which means drawing and animating multiple backgrounds. *insert various stress-related noises here*

Well...ok, he will walk past various shops once I get him to move. Right now he's just blinking and not doing much else yet. But that's another problem for another day. Lol.

But at least I finished the dry cleaners today, so only three more shops/backgrounds to go. Still, expect I might have to add snow in the end, because the whole thing will probably take til Christmas to finish. Posting a tiny (unfinished) bit for the sole reason to ensure I won't give up on the whole thing.

I've fallen in love with this mascot I made when i was 12 lol, their redesign is absolutely ADORABLE

And this is an oc that is literally a mascot, mans got no actual life in him! Hes an in universe mascot! But I love him to much! Hes scruncly! And gets his entire establishment taken over from some fallen evil deity!
