H Acid Prices | Pricing | Trend | News | Database | Chart | Forecast
H Acid Prices a key intermediate in the production of dyes and pigments, plays a vital role in various industries, particularly textiles, where it is used in the synthesis of reactive dyes. Over the years, the prices of H Acid have fluctuated due to several factors, including raw material costs, market demand, production capacities, and environmental regulations. In this article, we explore the factors affecting H Acid prices and their impact on the global dye industry.
One of the primary factors driving H Acid prices is the cost of raw materials. H Acid is synthesized from naphthalene, a petroleum-based product. As crude oil prices fluctuate, so too does the cost of naphthalene, leading to variations in the price of H Acid. Any increase in the price of crude oil directly impacts the cost of naphthalene, which subsequently raises production costs for H Acid. On the other hand, when oil prices decrease, manufacturers can produce H Acid at a lower cost, which may lead to a reduction in its market price. However, crude oil is not the only raw material influencing H Acid prices. The cost of chemicals used in its synthesis, such as sulfuric acid and caustic soda, also plays a crucial role. Any disruption in the supply of these materials can cause price volatility, further complicating the market dynamics.

Another significant factor influencing the price of H Acid is market demand. The textile industry is the largest consumer of H Acid, as it is a critical component in the production of reactive dyes used to color fabrics. When the demand for textiles rises, particularly in growing economies such as China and India, the demand for H Acid also increases. This heightened demand can drive up prices, especially if production capacities are constrained or if there are supply chain disruptions. Seasonal trends, such as increased textile production during certain periods of the year, can also contribute to demand spikes, leading to temporary price hikes in the H Acid market. Additionally, as fashion trends evolve and more environmentally conscious dyeing processes are adopted, the demand for specific types of reactive dyes that use H Acid may shift, further influencing its pricing.
Environmental regulations are another key factor that has been affecting H Acid prices. In recent years, there has been increasing scrutiny on the environmental impact of chemical manufacturing, particularly in countries like China, where many H Acid production facilities are located. Stringent regulations aimed at reducing pollution and improving the sustainability of the chemical industry have forced many manufacturers to invest in cleaner technologies and pollution control measures. These investments come with higher operational costs, which are often passed on to the buyers, resulting in higher H Acid prices. In some cases, production plants have been shut down due to non-compliance with environmental regulations, leading to supply shortages and further price increases. The environmental impact of chemical effluents has become a major concern, and manufacturers are under pressure to find more sustainable methods of producing H Acid, which could influence long-term pricing trends.
Global trade dynamics also play a role in H Acid pricing. Many countries depend on imports of H Acid, and fluctuations in exchange rates can affect the cost of importing this chemical. For example, when the local currency of an importing country weakens against the U.S. dollar, the cost of H Acid, typically priced in dollars, rises, making it more expensive for that country’s manufacturers. Conversely, a stronger local currency can lead to lower import costs. In addition to exchange rate fluctuations, tariffs and trade policies between countries can also impact H Acid prices. Trade disputes or changes in tariff structures can make imports more expensive or restrict the flow of goods, creating supply bottlenecks that drive up prices.
The supply-demand balance is often influenced by production capacity expansions or reductions. When new H Acid manufacturing plants are established, or existing plants are expanded, the increased production capacity can alleviate supply constraints, potentially leading to a drop in prices. However, if there are disruptions to production, such as plant shutdowns due to environmental regulations or operational issues, the reduced supply can cause prices to rise. In some cases, manufacturers may intentionally reduce output to maintain higher prices in the market, a strategy known as "price discipline." Additionally, unexpected events such as natural disasters, geopolitical instability, or strikes in key producing regions can disrupt production and supply chains, causing short-term price spikes.
The global dye and pigment industry is highly competitive, and manufacturers are constantly seeking ways to optimize their production processes and reduce costs. Technological advancements in H Acid production, such as improvements in catalyst efficiency or the development of new synthesis methods, have the potential to reduce production costs, which could lower prices in the long term. However, the adoption of such technologies often requires significant capital investment, and it may take time for these cost savings to be passed on to buyers.
In conclusion, the pricing of H Acid is influenced by a complex interplay of factors, including raw material costs, market demand, environmental regulations, global trade dynamics, and production capacity. While some of these factors are cyclical and subject to short-term fluctuations, others, such as the push for sustainability and technological advancements, could have a more lasting impact on the H Acid market. For businesses that rely on H Acid, understanding these price dynamics is crucial for making informed decisions regarding procurement and long-term strategic planning. As the global dye industry continues to evolve, the price of H Acid will remain a critical consideration for manufacturers and suppliers alike.

𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧.
( unedited ) john price soothes you.
Tumblr media
the human mind is truly remarkable.
thick, dark blood stains your soft hands carmine, sullies your face in dotted speckles, and dribbles from the knife in languid rivulets that bead on your thighs. at the sound of his heavy booted footfalls, you gaze up at john with wide terrified eyes, the kitchen blade slipping from your slick clasp and clattering onto the tiled floor. your mouth is parted to take in slow, shallow metallic tasting breaths, body shivering in the cold pool of blood you sit in. “no, no i–”
your eyes settle back onto the lifeless body at your bare feet and tears burn behind your eyes as bile attempts to crawl its acidic form from the depths of your throat. your lashes flutter wildly, eyes darting from the body and then down to your bloodied palms, which you futilely attempt to cleanse on the smooth fabric of your silk nightgown, only succeeding in spreading the crimson stains further up your arms.
john casts a fleeting look over his shoulder at his men briefly, a silent signal of reassurance before he gradually lowers his weapon and advances towards you. your frightened eyes dart to him, and he watches as you hastily retreat, knees slipping in the blood and body pressing against the cold wall as you shrink into yourself. "i didn't, h-he tried to⎯ no, i didn't do it, s-swear," you stammer softly, voice quivering with desperation as you attempt to explain yourself; eyes fixed upon the body just a few meters away.
it saves itself, blurring, altering, and blocking traumatic events. psychological repression.
disregarding the body, john descends into a squatting position, placing his firearm on the floor, a gesture intended to instill a sense of security within you. then he starts a slow trek forward, his hands extended in front of him, reminiscent of someone approaching a frightened animal. "s'alright, i believe you. we're not here to hurt you," however, wide, fearful, innocent eyes look doubtful, distrusting, and glassy.
he continues his slow advance as you continuously attempt to explain the lifeless body of your employer. "and i— i tried to p-push him away, b-but he was too strong," john emits soft, barely audible hums, he hears you, he’s listening. but they needed to go, and now; it wasn't safe for you anymore. as he approaches, he finally reaches a point where he can delicately cradle your blood-splattered face in his glove-covered hands, waiting patiently until your wild eyes meet his understanding gaze. because he understands.
the tears you had so desperately tried to hold in spill down your cheeks hotly. a faint whisper escapes your lips, “i didn't do it.” but you did, he knew you did. laswell knew, his team knew. the men on their way to kill you, knew. he gave you a reassuring smile, small and intimate. “i know.” the day's events finally catch up with you, and you collapse into his embrace, succumbing to unconsciousness.
often without the individual even realizing it.

I don't know what to say. How to react to your kind actions. I should have dead that night, alone, with nobody to relate to. I should have died a pitiful death, being sold to a predator and ending up as nothing more than a lump of fat on their body; I should have died as nothing more than food. A freaking meal.
But then you came.
Just before I had been sold away to who would have been the highest bidder, you came along with an even higher price. I didn't see this as much, at that time it didn't seem to change the fact that I was still going to die. After the auction, I expected to be chained up once more, just before I would be completely sealed away in someone's gurgling gut.
"No need to chain him up, I'll eat him right here."
My eyes widened. I didn't expect my end to come this quickly. So this is really it then, I thought. There's was no point in running. Predators were much faster than my species. Besides that, you were much taller than any pred I had seen. I didn't need to be a rocket scientist to know that I won't get very far.
You looked me up and down with curious, blue eyes that seemed to be somehow scanning the very essence of my soul. I wasn't really much to look at, just another malnourished young adult who was unlucky enough to be in this place. But apparently, you liked that, as you just kept on such a warm smile that if I were not your prey, I would have seen this as a kind look.
You put your hands under my arms and lifted me. You were surprisingly gentle doing this, but I didn't notice at that time, for I was too busy apologizing to God for all my sins and asking for for forgiveness.
Then you opened your mouth. Sharp, white fangs glimmered in your mouth, reminding me just how much painful it will be if you ever decided to just nibble on me a bit. I did not relish the thought of that.
Strangely, you looked me in the eye just before swallowing me with a pitiful look. I couldn't tell if you were indirectly mocking me or were feeling sorry for me in any way. Not like it mattered.
Then you began to swallow me head-first. I was quickly covered in saliva. Even at the point of death, I was still somewhat marvelled on how someones throat could expand to take so much.
It didn't even take long before all that was left were my legs. You easily slurped this down, completely trapping me in your gut with no chance of escape. I suppose you enjoyed me, because after you belched, which being sounded more like an avalanche from where I was.
I wasn't sure how long I had been in there, but I suspected that by then, you were already at home, ready to relax and finally start digesting me. I didn't try to struggle, no, I wouldn't give you the thrill of that.
"It's okay,[REDACTED], I'm not going to hurt you."
I suddenly felt a small pressure on my head, presumably your hand patting me.I couldn't believe my own ears. I was sure I was going to die.
"H-How do you know my name?" I asked in a small voice, hoping you heard me.
"It's me, [REDACTED]. Surely, you still remember me?"
It took a while to realize, but yes, I did remember you. An old friend. You moved away so many years ago. And I couldn't really keep in touch with you, because didn't want me talking to a predator.
"Dude, it's been so long." You said. "What happened to you?"
I tried to summarize most of the things that had happened since you had gone. I told you about how my parents had gotten divorced, leaving me and my sister with my mother with little money to spare.
Then I told you how my mother had decided to be drinking and going to parties, basically neglecting us. I told you how instead of her allowing to go to highschool, she made a plaything for neighbouring preds.
How almost every day of the week, I had to go some dangerous predator's house and be their meal and they were allowed to try and digest me a bit and hurt me with their tummy acids as long as it didn't kill me.
It didn't take long before I broke down as a weeping mess in your gut, telling everything that had happened, no details spared.
I'm sorry you had to see me end up like this, I really am. Nevertheless, I'm grateful that you were at the right place at the right time to help me.

Rot.
The incense burning by his bedside meant to calm him only reminded him of rot.
The lavender and jasmine wafting his way turned his stomach. He could recall so vividly how — alongside the smell of it — the stench of his father’s decaying body burned his nose. The incense had only made it worse. The sweet smell of flora turned pungent when paired with the aroma of Viserys Targaryen’s walking corpse.
His father was dead now.
In his stead, he lay broken and decaying in the very same bed with the very same fragrance floating around his head.
He stared at the ceiling unblinking. His vision was blurry. Milk of the poppy had lulled him to sleep hours prior but the pain woke him. As he stared up at the intricate designs on the ceiling, he wondered how many times his father had done the same.
Had Viserys Targaryen wished they had let him die sooner than he had as Aegon now did?
Everything hurt.
It all hurt.
It always hurt.
Worse and worse each day, it seemed.
The burns on his face itched and itched. They itched so badly that the Grand Maester wrapped Aegon’s hands in bandages so that he could not rip at his skin. Every breath sent a sharp pain through his chest. He’d suffered a broken rib— many, actually. Who knew how many for sure. A broken femur, too, but that wasn’t the worst of it.
The worst of it was the pain in his heart.
Every time he closed his eyes he could see it. The fire. The fall. Him. His brother set on destroying him to ash and bone. He could recall the way his chest swelled with relief upon seeing his brother's eyepatched face.
How quickly it turned to fear.
“Dracarys!”
He hated that word. He had always hated that word. That word held too much power. Aegon had never liked power. He was afraid of power.
Burns and broken bones were the price to pay for power.
Power he didn’t want.
To be bathed in fire was an inescapable baptism. Except, it had not cleansed him. It only rose the rot that festered below his skin to the surface for all to see. The burns on his face stripped him of whatever beauty he had had— if he had any. The burns on his side stripped him of autonomy. The broken leg stripped him of any means of escape.
Perhaps his broken leg was the worst of it, come to think about it…
Even with his eyes open as he stared up at the ceiling, he could recall it all too vividly. He swallowed around the tightness in his throat. He could hear Sunfyre screeching even now. He could still feel the acid of his dragon’s boiling blood spray across him and worsen what fire had seared.
Aegon could not recall what it felt like to hit the ground like a meteor falling from the sky— but he could remember the terror of watching the ground close in on him.
Sunfyre had done so well. Aegon was alive because of his beloved golden boy. He had blocked the worst of the flames with his wings. He had thrashed in the air to keep the flames from catching worse to his rider's body. He hit the earth belly-first so as to not crush his rider like a grape.
Aegon bit the inside of his cheek and closed his eyes. Grief made him ache in the very marrow of his bones. Sunfyre. He wanted to see Sunfyre. He wanted to know if his beloved mount had made it. He needed to see him again.
He needed to apologize.
If Aegon could take it all back, he would. Not just Rook’s Rest, either. He would take back all of it. Every last second of his life, he wished he could take it all back. He wished he had never been born.
If he had never been born, no one would have to suffer.
His little son’s face flashed behind his eyelids and a sob escaped him. He opened his eyes in an attempt to rid his mind of the boy. He couldn’t bear to think about his baby now.
If Aegon hadn’t been born, his children need not suffer.
His son never would’ve died because he’d’ve not suffered a life at all if Aegon hadn’t been born.
He’d lost them both, hadn’t he?
His son and his dragon.
Aegon held few things near and dear. Very, very few things. There was little to live for— and yet he’d lived for his little four treasures. His son had been one. His dragon had been another. His wife and daughter were the remaining two.
Truly.
They were the only two that remained.
They were the only thing left of his heart after all this. They were the only reason his lungs took in air and his heart pumped in his chest…even though he wished it would not.
He wanted them now.
Licking his chapped, burned lips he tilted his head down to catch sight of the door. Across the room, it taunted him. It was a reminder of all that awaited him that he could not even begin to reach for. He wished they would come to them now, his wife and his daughter. He could not call for them even if he tried. He could not call for anyone. His voice was not strong enough.
He was entirely and completely alone.
As the seconds crawled on, his pain crept in. Each breath was a searing pain that made him groan. The burns on his skin began to sting and itch. His leg throbbed so intensely he figured it may burst. His head raged with pain that made him squeeze his eyes shut and bear his teeth. His stomach gnawed at itself. It had been so long since he’d eaten a proper meal.
If he ever left this bed, he’d be nothing but skin and bones.
A husk of the man he’d once been.
A ghost.
A walking corpse just like his father.
The door opened with a creak and Aegon felt relief. He whimpered helplessly like a wounded animal. He could not bring himself to open his eyes. The pain was too blinding. It was too white hot and consuming. He wanted nothing more than for it to end.
Whether it was milk of the poppy that brought relief or a knife in his hands so he may be done with all this bother— he simply needed it to end.
“Is the pain severe?”
Aegon’s heart stopped in his chest.
Slowly, he opened his eyes. His throat was so tight he could hardly breathe. His blood had turned to ice in his veins. His pain was forgotten as he met the singular blue eye of his brother.
His killer.
Aemond.
“Yes,” Aegon muttered, his voice pathetic and weak. Hoarse and gravelly. He sounded nothing like himself.
“Mn,” Aemond hummed, stepping closer to his bedside.
Aegon tensed instinctively which shot pain through every nerve in his body. He gasped almost inaudibly as he tilted his head back to fight a cry. Oh, how he wanted to cry. He wanted to cry and scream and shriek.
Help.
Help me.
Help me. Help. Help me.
Aemond Targaryen had killed Aegon Targaryen.
He’d killed the pieces that mattered most, at least.
Aemond had killed his son.
With his own hands or not, Jaehaerys’ death was through fault of Aemond. Whether he meant it or not, it had been his actions that led to Aegon’s little son’s head being cut from his neck.
Aemond had killed his dragon.
Aegon knew not — truly — whether Sunfyre lived or died. No news had come to him yet. He was sure they hid the truth from him. Yet, there would be nothing to hide if Sunfyre had lived.
He must be dead.
He must be dead and Aemond was the one to kill him.
Aemond had killed him.
All the parts that he had liked about himself— tried to like about himself were gone. Melted to the muscle. He was charred as black as coal in some spots and as red as raw meat in others.
His face.
His hair.
His arm and leg.
His cock.
Him.
He had seen himself only once in a small hand mirror. Once was all he could bear. To see himself the way he was now had made him want to break the glass and shove the shards into his eyes. Into his throat. Into his wrists. Straight into his heart.
He may as well be dead even if he drew breath now.
He was rotten fruit.
Past his expiration date, he rotted more and more each day from the outside straight to the inside.
“What do you remember?” Aemond asked lowly. His voice was like a knife to Aegon’s throat.
“Nothing…” Aegon whispered. He opened his eyes and looked up at his brother who loomed like The Stranger over his bed.
Everything.
I remember everything.
Everything.
“I remember nothing,” Aegon promised weakly.
I remember everything.
Aemond reached above Aegon’s head to rest his hand on the headboard. Aegon turned his face away as Aemond drew closer. He shook his head. He closed his eyes to spare himself the horror of seeing the malice in his brother's only eye.
“I warm your throne until you are well enough to take it once more,” Aemond whispered solemnly.
I don’t want it.
I never wanted it.
Take it.
Take it. Take it. Take it.
Aemond sighed as he took in the sight of his brother, shaking his head. “You must regain your strength, my King. The Realm needs you.”
Aegon cried out in agony. His eyes shot open as Aemond pressed the Small Council marble that belonged to him into his burns. He groaned breathlessly as Aemond leaned into him, pressing his arm into the burns on his belly.
“Agh!” Aegon choked, tears dripping from his eyes. “Please— plea…please stop.”
“Shhh, shhh…” Aemond whispered. He smiled fondly at his brother but it did not meet his eyes.
Aegon struggled as Aemond grabbed his burned, bandaged hand. He made Aegon grip the marble. He winced as his mangled fingers were curled around the cool surface of the stone. He blinked rapidly, tears rushing down his face.
“Why?” Aegon dared to ask. His voice shook in his throat and he choked on his own breath. “Why would you have not let me go then at The Sept to flee…only to torture me for it now?”
Aemond stilled at the question. He tilted his head and pursed his lips. He seemed to enjoy this question. He savored the answer on his tongue like candy. It made a chill trickle down Aegon’s spine. He did not want to know the answer.
The answer itself was pain.
“It’s yours,” Aemond whispered under his breath. He pressed on Aegon’s hand and drove the marble harder into his burns, prompting a helpless cry from the elder. “You are the first-born son of the King and it’s always been yours.”
Aegon squeezed his eyes shut as his brother’s lips pressed to his forehead. He whimpered as Aemond kissed his burns. Lightly and repeatedly, he kissed Aegon’s brow.
“Rhaenyra? Myself? Helaena? Even Daeron…” Aemond shook his head and pulled back to look down at his brother. “As children of Viserys Targaryen there was only one of us who ever had any claim to the throne. And it had always been you.”
“That’s why I dragged you by your hair back to our mother.” Aemond hissed, his fingers curling around the roots of Aegon’s hair. “So you could claim what was rightfully yours despite never being worthy of it.”
Aegon bared his teeth and grabbed Aemond’s wrist with his good hand. He dug his nails into his brother's skin and groaned through his teeth.
“And you think you are?” Aegon scoffed through his agony.
“I’ve always been,” Aemond said venomously.
“Perhaps before,” Aegon agreed. He grunted as Aemond let his hair go. He still had his burned hand trapped around the marble that Aemond was crushing against his chest. “But not now.”
“You are the worst kind of monster, Aemond. You prey upon your own flesh and blood like a rabid wolf. Our nephew. My son. Now even me, too.”
“Who will be next? My wife? My daughter? Our mother? Or will you drive the damn dagger you’ve stolen from me through my heart and finish it now?” Aegon hissed through clenched teeth as he tried to get up.
Aemond forced him down into the bed. Grappling as best he could, Aegon tried to claw at him. He groaned as Aemond squeezed the burns on his arm. Hissing swears at each other, nails dug into wounded flesh. Aegon tried to rip off his brother's eyepatch and dig his fingers into the scar on his face.
The marble fell onto the carpeted floor with a dull thud as they struggled.
“Get away from him…”
Aegon and Aemond stilled at the sound of her voice.
He blinked away tears to see her clearly. His breath was rapid in his lungs at the sight of her. He could’ve wept like a baby.
Helaena.
“Get out.” She whispered, pointing to the door without looking back at it. Her eyes were as misty and far away as they always were, but her balled fist at her side was evidence enough to show her anger.
Aemond spared Aegon a glance before stepping back. He departed without a word. When the door clicked shut, Aegon sobbed. Covering his eyes with his good hand, he sobbed and sobbed.
The bed sank under her weight as she crawled onto it. She nuzzled against his good side and placed her hand over his chest. Aegon turned his head towards her and wept into the warmth of her neck. She kissed his forehead with a feather-light delicacy.
Her kisses were medicine to him.
“He won’t hurt you again,” Helaena murmured against what was left of his hair.
Aegon felt the tension in his muscles dissipate. As her fingers laced through his hair so gently it made tingles run across his skin, he was calm. As calm as he could be without milk of the poppy dulling his senses.
“You know this for certain.” It wasn’t a question.
Helaena nodded and tilted her head down to meet his eyes. “I do.”
Aegon believed her.
He was inclined to believe everything she said. He had doubted her for so long. Her strangeness was much more than ramblings. She knew. She had always known. Everything. All of it. She had dreamed it. She had seen it.
Aegon believed her faithfully.
After the death of their son, he had no other choice. She had warned him about the rats. She confessed that she was afraid and he should’ve listened. He shouldn’t ve trusted her. Truth was that Aegon always listened but he’d never learned to trust her…dreams. Whatever they were.
If he had listened to her then maybe — just maybe — Jaehaerys would be with them now.
He would’ve given anything for his son back.
He’d hung every rat catcher in the fucking city for the loss of his son because hanging himself was not an option.
“I’m so sorry, Helaena,” Aegon murmured as she spread the salve over his burns.
She hated to see him in pain. She had retrieved the salve from the bedside table that the Grand Maester used to soothe the skin and applied it to his face to soothe the itch. She had done this many times before.
She visited him often.
It was one reason why he began to ween off milk of the poppy. He wanted to be able to recall these moments with his wife. Her tenderness. Her care. Her devotion.
Her love.
He needed it more than ever.
He needed her more than ever.
“Do not,” Helaena said softly. Her voice was always so dreamy but right now it was rough around the edges. She met his eyes and shook her head. “I’ve told you before, we cannot change anything even if we wish to.”
Aegon swallowed around the tightness in his throat. His dreamer knew all. His dreamer had seen it. His dreamer knew, too, that there was no escaping it.
She had known the boy would die.
She knew there was nothing she could do to stop it for it had not come to her clearly. Very little of what she dreamed ever came clearly. It was always abstract. It was never linear.
Aemond losing his eye.
Meyles bursting through the floor on the day they’d been crowned King and Queen.
The death of their little son…
Helaena had seen it all at one time or another. In a dream. In a memory. In a fleeting thought. Never concrete. Always slipping through her fingers like sand.
A blessing; mayhaps, to be able to see what happens before it does.
A curse, too, for there was no way for her to navigate it.
Truthfully, there was no way to fully understand it.
But he believed her now.
“Did you know?” Aegon dared to ask, his voice a whisper in his throat.
Helaena said nothing. Carefully, she leaned in to kiss the burned, tender corner of his mouth. When she pulled back, he could see the sorrow in her eyes.
She knew all.
She’d seen it all.
“Aemond…” she stopped herself before she started. Biting her lip, she shook her head.
Aegon exhaled lowly. She did know. He knew not if it were a relief to have her know or if it hurt worse. The worst thing about believing Helaena’s dreams was accepting there were no ways to stop them.
Perhaps, then, her knowing was a relief. If she knew he would end up this way, it was a testament to her devotion toward him. She chose to stuck by him now. She need not tend to him. There were Maesters for that. She need not worry for him. Their mother did enough of that. She need not spend any time at all with him. Larys would creep in even when he was most unwanted.
But she did.
She did all of it.
And he loved her fiercely for it.
Aegon brought his fingers to her chin and clasped it gently. She came willing as he tilted her head down. He placed a soft, lingering kiss on her mouth.
Salvation.
The pain faded into the background as she kissed him. She hadn’t needed to. He would’ve settled for one— but she pressed her lips right back onto his when he tried to pull away. Tenderly, they kissed. His arm hooked around her and he embraced her against his good side.
He truly, truly loved her.
His odd, clumsy younger sister.
His gorgeous, gentle wife.
His kind, curious Queen.
The loving, attentive mother of his babies.
As they pulled away from the kiss, Aegon looked into her eyes. She stared right back at him. It made his heart swell. Helaena so rarely held eye contact with anyone— but he wasn’t just anyone. He was her brother. He was her husband. He was the father of her babies. They could say so much without saying anything at all. He knew her like the back of his hand.
“I miss him…” He admitted it to her like a sin.
They spoke little about their boy despite Jaehaerys always being on their minds.
Helaena hesitated to meet his eyes. Her breath stilled in her chest. The look on his face made her eyes well with tears. He tried so hard to remain stoic but his lips trembled. A soft, weak cry escaped him as he thought of their boy.
“Where is Jaehaera?” He asked before she could say anything at all about their boy. He raised his good hand to wipe his cheeks and cleared his throat. “Is she well?”
“I think so,” Helaena whispered. She, too, wiped at her eyes. Sniffling, she nodded her head. “She misses you.”
Aegon couldn’t help but smile. To know his daughter missed him was like salve to his soul. He closed his eyes and conjured her face in his mind. She looked so much like him. Her smile. Her nose. Those tiny ears.
Jaehaerys had been his mother's son.
Jaehaera was her father's daughter.
“I will bring her to you if you wish to see her. She asks for you all the time. She does not understand why she cannot come read with you.” Helaena frowned, stroking his silvery wisps of hair.
“No.” Aegon refused. His voice was firm and his expression was hardened now. He met his wife’s eyes but ultimately looked away.
“You fear you’ll scare her.”
Aegon closed his eyes. He could only nod. Pathetic and afraid, he only nodded.
He was afraid to scare her.
He was no longer the father she knew. No more young-faced Aegon who made silly expressions to make her laugh. No sweet-smiled daddy that tucked her into bed each night and sang her to sleep.
He was what she’d be afraid of at night if she saw him now— and she wouldn’t be able to run to him for he was the monster.
“She will not be afraid of you,” Helaena whispered. She reached for Aegon’s hand and stroked his knuckles. “Let me bring her to you. It will make you feel better. It’ll make her feel better.”
Aegon said nothing.
But then he nodded.
His stomach churned and his throat was scorching from how dry it was. His heart was hammering in his chest. Hard enough he could feel it. Loud enough he could hear it. He wished it would stop. Just for a moment. Just for a moment so he could find his bearings.
As the door creaked open, Aegon struggled to keep the worry off his face as she cautiously approached. Sitting up in bed covered in bandages and burns, he must’ve looked frightening to his daughter.
His only daughter.
His only child now.
She was a sweet sight. He fought not to cry at the sight of her. Holding her mother's hand, Jaehaera came around to his bedside. Helaena kneeled beside it and ran a gentle hand over their daughter's head. She looked from the young girl towards Aegon, whose expression was full of heartache.
He scared her.
The sight of him had to have scared her.
He feared so deeply the sight of him scared her. His baby. His blood. His heart. His truest, dearest love.
He did not want to scare her…
“Daddy?” Jaehaera asked in a whisper as she stood on her tippy toes. Her little hands touched the edge of his bed, inching towards his bandaged hand that rested there.
Aegon spoke softly, gently, sweetly. It was his hope that his voice would comfort her if his appearance did not.
“Hello, my darling.”
Jaehaera looked up at him. Her face was pinched with confusion. With hurt. She was young but smart like her mother. His injuries were bad. By the look on his little daughter's face, she could tell he must’ve been in pain.
“Ouch.” She murmured, pointing to his face.
“Ouch, indeed.” Aegon agreed, nodding his head.
Jaehaera turned her head and looked at her mother. Helaena wiped tears off her cheeks and tried to smile. With a trembling breath, Jaehaera started to cry, too. Seeing her parents in distress affected her deeply. As her mother cried, she began to cry.
“Oh, baby…” Helaena whispered, picking the small girl up.
Aegon winced as he tried to sit up more. A sharp pain shot through his ribs like a spear. It winded him. It frustrated him. He wanted nothing more than to get up and comfort his wife and daughter. He wanted to hold them in his arms.
“He is hurt, Mummy.” Jaehaera cried into her hands. She sniffled uncontrollably as she sobbed.
“Your father is okay, sweetheart,” Helaena whispered, trying her best to console her.
“Come,” Aegon beckoned softly. He extended his good arm and waved her over. “Jaehaera, come sit with daddy.”
Helaena placed Jaehaera down on the end of the bed as she turned and reached out. Aegon couldn’t help but smile. The small girl crawled across the duvet toward him. He reached his hand out to wipe her tears off her cheeks.
“Do not cry, my love. There is no need to cry.” Aegon said softly, tucking loose hair behind her ear.
“But you are hurt, daddy…” Jaehaera frowned at him, her eyes welling with tears.
“Does it scare you?” Aegon asked gently, his lips twitching with a frown.
She shook her head and his heart lightened. He realized then that she truly was distraught because he was injured so severely. It warmed his heart. As much as he wanted to take her worry away, it was endearing that she felt so deeply. She was like her mother in that way.
Perhaps like him, too, though he’d never admit it.
Aegon fought a wince as she nuzzled into his side. Despite there being no burns where she laid her head and cuddled up to, his ribs were still tender. He didn’t have the heart to ask her to move. He even shook his head at Helaena who reached out to move her.
“You, too.” Aegon requested. He smiled faintly and flicked his head. “Come on.”
Helaena hesitated only for a moment. She could not deny him— or herself. As she climbed onto the bed, she sat close to him. Her arm carefully hooked around him and her chest acted as a pillow. He smiled as he heard her heart thump behind her ribs. Such a comforting noise.
They were comforting.
Sitting in bed with his wife and his daughter was more healing than any medicine the Grand Maester could’ve fed him. He could not only relax in the comfort of his wife’s arms but he could let his guard down. Stroking his daughter's silver hair, he felt entirely whole.
Everything that mattered to him was in his hands now. His wife. His daughter. They were the blood in his veins, the heart in his chest, and the air in his lungs. Whispering stories to his daughter as his wife's fingers laced through what was left of his hair, he knew it was not possible.
To have made something as beautiful as Jaehaera — who was so sweet and so pure — he knew it could not be possible.
To be loved so deeply by Helaena — who was so wise and empathetic — he knew it couldn’t be possible.
Aegon Targaryen was not rotten.
Burned and broken, but not rotten.

Dungeon Meshi Miscellaneous Monster Tales 1
Oh cool. There's bonus content about the monsters.
Walking Mushroom
Makes perfect sense that there are different breeds of walking mushroom. Wish I was a mycologist right now so I could appreciate this a bit more.
Tumblr media
H-how much does that book cost? 1,238G?
Meanwhile the various meals at the dining hall ranged from 160-190 G while there was a meat bun soup that cost 210 G and those came with free travel rations.
Let's say 200G is equivalent to $10 US. In other words, 1G = $0.05. That book would cost $61.90.
Also the actual price says 1,238 G+. Is that a premium currency or is there a sales tax involved?
Tumblr media
Slimes
This one's really interesting. Most slimes are parasitic. They effectively act like stomach cells and steal portions of their host's meal for themselves. Their mucous layer is probably meant to protect them from their host's digestive system similar to how our own stomach cells produce a mucous to protect them from stomach acid.
Tumblr media
Maybe some species have a more mutualistic relation with slimes. Maybe the slimes help break down certain compounds the host can't break down, similar to how our guts are full of bacteria that break down tons of things for us.
Imagine being a poor little critter that got eaten by a frog. Then when you end up in its stomach, you then get eaten by a slime in the frog's stomach.
Man-Eating Plants
Laios just won't stop talking about how shadowtails ensnare their victims. He does bring up an interesting point that they can adapt to any creature when determining how to restrain their victims.
Tumblr media
Maybe that shadowtail that grabbed Marcille was feeling around her to determine things like muscle-tone, body thickness, and joint articulation so it could find the best ways to restrain her.
Breeding shadowtails so they keep their restraining instincts but no longer have the parasitic aspect could be useful for things like capturing animals to relocate them or maybe to design specialized casts for broken bones. But realistically, the main draw would definitely be for kink and Marcille is a kink-shamer.
Tumblr media
Mandrake
So mandrakes having human-looking appearances is pure coincidence. But farmers like trying to grow them into human shapes for the equivalent of the county fair.
But how do they harvest them without the mandrakes screaming?
Basilisk
So there IS a hen version of the basilisk.
Tumblr media
Baby basilisk is so cute.
Tumblr media
Basilisks hatching back-first just adds to the confusion of which is the head and which is the tail. Chickens and snakes both break out of their eggs using sharp implements to break the egg (snakes have egg teeth specifically to help them cut through the shell). If it hatches from the back, then its birth feathers are probably fairly sharp.
The basilisk anatomy is just giving me more questions. Both halves have their own stomachs but the chicken half also has the craw and gizzard. This means both halves are equipped to eat whatever they would normally eat.
Since the snake has its own stomach, is it able to stretch its body to fit large meals like real snakes? And if the snake half eats something, can the whole basilisk go long periods without eating while the snake-half digests its meal? Or does the snake have a heightened metabolism since it's part of a (presumably) warm-blooded creature? Maybe the snake half is responsible for eating large prey. Meanwhile, the chicken half supplements its diet by eating smaller prey and plant matter.
Living Armor
Okay. I was wrong. The whole body is part of their shell. They aren't just inhabiting an existing suit of armor. And this likely means the individual Living Armors treat themselves more like pieces of a whole rather than as a colony of individuals helping each other. I guess each suit of armor is a colony of siblings. Maybe a small cluster of them are specialized toward breeding purposes.
There is a non-zero chance that adventurers influenced the evolution of Living Armor. They only need to develop to the point they can move so there's no reason to develop all these elaborate art patterns like the lion-head colony had. Maybe around the same time humans began making iron armor, Living Armor started to emulate human designs because the Living Armor mistook adventurers in full plate for a large breedable colony and they wanted to mate with them. This in turn put pressure on the Living Armor to structure itself to look more like adventurer armor to compete with adventurers for mates.
...
Wait! What if the swords are the sperm-producing parts of the colony and them trying to stab people was part of their courtship rituals? Or maybe they think of adventurers as rival Living Armor colonies.
Or maybe I'm just wrong and the sword is just a sword. Maybe Living Armor already looked like that before adventurers came around and adventurer armor took inspiration from Living Armor instead.
Laios has me trapped in his rhythm. I genuinely want to know how Living Armors breed. Based on their behaviour, all of the Living Armors likely share parentage with the egg sacs. So does the egg-layer lay its eggs in the egg sac and then all the others deposit some sperm to inseminate the eggs, or do the other Living Armors impregnate the egg-layer? And does the chosen egg-layer create the shield as part of the egg-laying process? If the biggest colony lays and protects the eggs, then that means it has more Living Armors that can be converted into a shield without compromising the body structure.
I still want to know what and how they eat.

On today's episode of Pseudoscience Nonsense: H. Pylori infection confirmed!
First off, I have no clue how these geniuses came to the conclusion that a parasite = every known bacteria, virus, etc. but here we are 😐
So, what is H. Pylori?
It is a common type of bacteria that infects your stomach. It has the potential to damage tissue in your stomach and part of your small intestine. The infection can cause inflammation, and in some cases can lead to peptic ulcers in your upper digestive tract.
H. Pylori is common. Lots of people have it, and lots of people don't end up with ulcers or show any symptoms of infection (but it still is a big cause for ulcers).
Howeverrrrrrr
You still don't wanna play around with H. Pylori. This bacteria goes after your stomach lining by releasing enzymes that make your stomach acid less acidic, and weakening the lining. This means your stomach will be at a greater risk of being damaged by acid, and strong digestive fluids! Which ya know would then lead to sores and ulcers.
What causes H. Pylori?
Experts believe the infection is spread from person to person by mouth. So kissing an infected individual, eating food that isn't cleaned or cooked properly, drinking contaminated water, or coming into contact with infected vomit or poopy.
Now that we all know about H. Pylori, let's talk about the pictures! We see a group member has been diagnosed with an H. Pylori infection and doesn't want to treat it with medications. Not the best move considering ulcers can eventually wear down your stomach lining and cause bleeding, holes in your stomach wall, blockages if the ulcer is blocking the path for food to leave your stomach, AND STOMACH CANCER (oh wait they think cancer is parasites too 😬)
Thankfully, Ms. Haley has a (bullshit) cure for them! For the very low price of $185 a month, she'll send you...*checks notes* PDF files??? Of 'codes' to read???? Seems very legit, definitely not somebody grifting and capitalizing on someone else's fears!! Why trust doctors who spent years of their life in school to learn about these things when Haley has the cure in the form of pixels on a screen!?
In conclusion, y'all just wash your hands after you use the bathroom and before you eat, cook your food properly, and don't drink lake water and you'll be ok. And if you truly suspect you may have some kind of parasitic infection, PLEASE IM BEGGING just go see a doctor.
(disclaimer: I'm not a doctor or nurse of any kind, I just have a strong sense of justice and DETEST those who exploit others for capital gain😘 all info on H. Pylori brought to you by the Johns Hopkins website)

Monster Spotlight: Taotieh
Tumblr media
CR 11
Neutral Large Construct
Bestiary 3, pg. 260
Construction Requirements: Craft Construct, and a caster level of at least 14. Geas/Quest, Limited Wish, and Plane Shift, Craft (Sculpture) or Craft (Stonemasonry) with a of DC 25.
A Taotieh is constructed from 12,000 pounds of marble treated with specialized unguents, but marble of any quality can be used, and the unguents don’t have a listed price. However...
Cost to Build: The curious internal extradimensional processes of a Taotieh, not to mention the careful carving, shaping, and assembling of its marble body will gouge its creator’s wallet by 55,000 gold!
These grinding gluttonous guardians are constructed by civilizations who not only want their sacred sites protected, but want intruders to suffer for their trespass. They’re mindless Constructs, beholden to the orders of their creator and thus easily outwitted and avoided if players know how the creatures are “programmed” (such as if they cannot go too far from the location they guard), but if their creator is present to give them orders, they become far more fearsome.
For the purposes of this article, however, we’re focusing on the Taotieh on its own. As a mindless Construct, it has no skill ranks and thus no ability or desire to use stealth; the party will likely hear it coming from dozens of yards away. Unfortunately this won’t be much help, because much like the big cats they resemble, a Taotieh exists to deliver a single devastating Pounce and then lay into its target with its Full-Attack. A simple CCB machine, the Full-Attack of the Tao is nonetheless frightening: the claws deal 1d6+10 and the bite 1d8+10. Being hit by both claws allows the stone kitty to Rake the victim for an additional 1d6+10 damage, bringing its minimum possible damage per round to 44! Average damage hovers around 60, usually more than enough to frighten whoever got Pounced on during the surprise round after what everyone believed was just a giant marble statue came charging 80ft down a temple wall.
Much like most other creatures made of solid rock, the stony hide of a Taotieh has 10 DR that’s only bypassed by adamantine weapons, and wielders of the elements are likely to be frustrated upon finding out the blessed marble they’re made from confers 10 Resistance to every element... except Sonic, which they’re vulnerable to. Unfortunately, most damaging Sonic spells tend to be AoE effects, and Tao tend to spend a lot of time directly on top of your party. Oh, wait, no, there goes the Fighter. Perfect, now you can use Shout!
Where’d the Fighter go, you ask? Where he’s probably not getting out on his own. All three of a Tao’s attacks Grab whatever they hit, and if a Tao begins its turn with a Large or smaller creature grappled, it can use a standard action to unhinge its jaws and swallow them whole. Such unlucky victims aren’t thrown into a pit of acid or a crushing stone stomach, but an airless, lightless space made of solid stone that’s just barely big enough for their body. The victims are considered grappled and thus have few options for getting out of what will swiftly become their tomb, the space grimly noted to only have enough air to sustain the creature for 3 rounds before they have to hold their breath.
Even a creature with just 10 Con can hold their breath for a while, but that’s all they can really do in there. Unless they have some means to damage the stone that surrounds them--stone with Hardness 8 that’s resistant or outright immune to most non-bludgeoning damage, 18 AC that’s difficult to hit while grappled, and 25 HP besides--they’re forced to simply pray to whatever powers that be that their allies can free them before they die a nigh-unavoidable death. The Shout spell can be cast while grappled, and the Tao ARE vulnerable to Sonic, so it’s good to keep that in mind just in case you decide to use the last of your breath to scream.
Tao can hold up to four creatures in its extradimensional stomach at a time, but has no way to remove its dead (or insane) victims on its own, relying on its caster casting Plane Shift on it to clear its guts out. Otherwise, a victim must cut themselves out, leaping from the statue’s mouth if they manage to break out of their prison... but this in no way impacts the Tao’s function, and it CAN in fact swallow the victim right back next round with no penalty, a brand new coffin forming around the poor, unfortunate soul.
I do like the final touch in the Tao’s lore in the book, pointing out that creatures that don’t need to breathe can survive for quite a while in the space the creature creates for them. Killing a Tao frees every trapped entity inside it all at once, potentially allowing players to claim treasures of unfortunate victims long past... but they may also end up freeing something significantly more malevolent and insane that was trapped inside. Or, perhaps, if they’re lucky they’ll find a new ally instead...?
You can read more about them here.

Ch. 1 - The Meeting
Tumblr media
A/N: Heyo everyone! I hope you enjoy this one. I have some art propbably coming soon to go with it ;)
Warnings: n/a
He was running just about as fast as he could. After damaging the dam in the sinuses, Thrax knew he needed to get somewhere quick. He made his way down to the salivary glands, the virus was seeking some well-earned respite in the humidity and warmth of them. He ran through the alleys, bobbing and weaving through and around different bacteria before he finally decided the coast was clear. He sighed and started walking, his hands tucked in the pockets of his jacket as he did so. Thrax smirked to himself, laughing soon after that he had managed to get away with everything so far.
“This is too easy! Too damn easy.” He said to himself, grinning cheek to cheek as he did so. His senses were heightened when he heard the sound of running and whistle blowing. Damn cops.. already on my tail. He growled to himself, picking up the pace and soon entering through a back door into one of the stores that lined the alleyway. He carefully closed it and let out a sigh of relief as he looked around. Thrax noticed the shelves were lined with.. fabric? His eyes widened a bit as he looked around the place, noticing.. sewing supplies: threads of different textures and colors, needles of every type, silks, satins, leather, as well as some sewing machines and embroidering machines. Was he in.. a boutique?
“What in the blazes.. huh. Seems I found myself a place to get some new drip,” He said to himself, soon walking out through a curtain into the back room that held the stock of different clothings, then he started to look through them while chuckling. This stuff was really well made.. he picked up a shirt, looking at the tag for the price and grimacing. “Damn.. 200 cals? Shit, fuck that. Wait..” Thrax then read the label on the tag, chuckling. “Stomach acid resistant, water and saliva resistant.. interesting. This place knows what they doin’.” He hummed, soon setting the shirt down and heating up his claw before he cut off the tag.
Thrax then walked to a mirror that was there, smiling as he took off his coat and then his beaten up shirt. He looked at himself in the mirror, sighing as he looked at the scars on his chest. The self inflicted ones from when he was younger, craving to be something he just.. wasn’t yet. He ran the pad of his finger over one, smiling as he reminded himself that he was who he was today, he was himself. Shaking off the thoughts, Thrax picked up the new shirt and slipped it on. Old habits died hard.. he looked in the mirror again and turned this way and that to examine the shirt on himself. The virus smiled, satisfied with his new item and hummed to himself.
Just as he was about to put his coat back on, he heard the sound of heels stop just inside the room. His eyes widened and he looked over, backing up a bit. He tilted his head a bit.. this was no.. bacteria or cell. This was.. another virus.
Enji’s eyes widened as he looked on and he nearly dropped the pile of clothes he had in his hands as he stared. Another.. Virus? He swallowed, his ectoplasmic ears laying back as he started to back up a bit. Thrax held out a hand, trying to calm the other down. “Wait, wait wait.. I ain’t gonna hurt ya, doll..” he said, the hills of his brows furrowing together. It was.. odd that he was so gentle with this one. If it were any other species, he’d have them incinerated in a touch of his claw. But.. Thrax knew how hard Viruses worked, knew the hardships they faced between hosts.
The sage-green Virus looked on at him and calmed down a bit, his ears perking up some and his tail swaying gently. A tail? Huh.. Must be one of ‘em special breeds.. Thrax thought to himself, standing back up and lowering his hand.
Then it spoke, holding a more male voice, “You.. you’re the one that’s been causing all of this trouble, ain’t you?” He asked, staring incredulously at Thrax. “And ya stealing one of my shirts.” His eyes narrowed then and Thrax’s own widened. He didn’t know what species this was.. he’d never seen one before. Or.. maybe he had, a long, long time ago. Thrax cleared his throat a bit and spoke next.
“It didn’t have no tag on it.. ain’t stealin’ if it ain’t got a barcode, baby.”
The green virus made a bit of a face at the name and he set down the pile of items in his hands, stepping over and making sure his heels sounded menacing. “No tag? My guy, it’s right there.” And he picked it up in his hand and held it up. But since he was closer, the fox-like virus noticed how roughed up Thrax was, how tired he seemed. His expression softened a little bit and he crossed his arms then. “They’ve been hittin’ ya rough, ain’t they?” The sage-green one asked, crossing his arms gently over his chest. Thrax’s eyes widened a bit. This virus knew what it was like to have to high-tail it around a body, make their move before they needed to get out.
Thrax nodded a bit, crossing his own arms. “Yeah. Cells don’t like when viruses stick around too long,” He chuckled. The sage-green one did not smile though. “They don’t like it when you start to shut down a body neither. The hells ya think ya doin’ in here? Frank lives rural, you really think ya gonna survive once the body is dead and gone? Take my advice, kid. Get out while ya can so you can find another host quick.”
Thrax growled a bit at being called a kid. He always hated that shit. His mama always used to say it, and it always had an insult to go before it. His eyes narrowed and he shook his head, not wanting to delve into those memories when he was up against something of his match and he vulnerable. “Nah, I ain’t going nowhere. Not until I make my record,” And then he beamed at the other virus, showing off those dark and jagged teeth. The other virus grimaced a bit before he sighed. “Fine, it’s your funeral man. Also.. how the hell did ya get in here? I didn’t see you come in through the front.”
Thrax smirked some then, his hands moving to his hips rather than being tucked with his arms crossed. “Oh, I came in through the back, baby. Maybe you should keep a better lock on ya doors~”
The sage-green one narrowed its eyes at him. “Maybe you shouldn’t be sneakin’ in places you ain’t supposed to, boy.”
The crimson virus laughed a bit at that and stepped a bit closer. He liked this cat. He wasn’t afraid of him, and that sent a thrilling chill down Thrax’s spine. “My my.. you gotta pretty mouth. Ya certainly know how to run it too, don’t ya?” The other Virus back up a bit, not liking being so close but.. gods the way he smelled. Most cells and germs would find it absolutely abhorrent, but to him.. it was intoxicating. The sage-green one’s ears laid back as his tail flicked, shaking off that thought. “And you know how to be a creep. Now if you don’t want me to get angry and go yell for the cops, I suggest you get out the way you came.”
Thrax snickered a bit and collected his coat. His welcome was obviously gone and he stepped back a bit. “I guess ya right, baby.. it was a gas, but I better get outta here. See ya around- wait.. I didn’t catch ya name, Doll~”
The sage-green one huffed a bit, his arms crossing a bit tighter. “I didn’t give it. But, if you must know, it’s Enji. Enji Foxtail.”
Thrax smiled a bit as he heard the name, it sounded so nice to his ears. He committed the name and the face that went with it to memory, humming in satisfaction. “Right.. well, nice to meet ya, even if it wasn’t under the best circumstances, babe. Name’s Thrax. Remember it, ya might see it in the books one day~” And he was gone, swiftly making his exit through the back door again before heading on down the alleyway. Enji sighed a bit as he watched, unfolding his arms and resting his hands on his hips. “Christ what have you gotten into, Enj..” he cursed at himself, shaking his head.
Then, Enji looked over and noticed the sweater that Thrax had left behind. His eyes widened a bit and he stepped over, picking it up and examining how roughed up it was. He could fix this.. it wasn’t too bad. Then he leaned a bit, holding the sweater up to his muzzle before he inhaled the scent on it. Gods, why was it so intoxicating? Enji growled a bit at himself and folded the sweater up, walking to his office and tucking it away with his bag and then he went to get back to work.

Hello hello! end of the story! Watson left us with him freezing deer in headlights style reading of an attack to Holmes. Let's see how things went from then on!
Tumblr media
Of course, actions start before brain starts processing. Holmes is hurt (my fault, i shouldn't've pulled that all nighter) i need to know what happe-
Tumblr media
Holmes, of course would get home, idiot that he is
Tumblr media
CAB! 221B BAKER STREET. NOW. RUN.
Watson must be worrying sick. He deserves a holiday! At least the doc assures no immediate danger. At least. Watson is allowed to see him (and if he wasn't he would've gone in all the same)
Tumblr media
H: Don't be scared, Watson, i'm alright W: You are not-who hurt you. I'll murder that man with my bare hands H: My good Watson. Just stay with me? I'll tell you the plan. W: -kissing holmes- You need to rest. -hugging holmes-
Watson is just as scared and ready to murder for Holmes as Holmes is scared and ready to murder for Watson when he's hurt. O love these two. Well, plan's on.
Tumblr media
Don't worry, with your help and my makeup cabinet we'll re-create that scene. I'm truly sorry i'm scaring you Watson.
Watson leaves to go give false information and so on, like getting kitty safe, and Holmes of course asks for something to smoke
Tumblr media
I will keep granada Watson's answer for this. And then Watson will just return to Holmes asap and not move from there.
Tumblr media
Things go on for that and Holmes recovers quite quickly, it would seem and they are of course plotting together or almost together. Holmes has his own plans, apparently. uuuhm
DAMNIT! is that bastard leaving?
Tumblr media
Watson. there to be used?
Well, Watson knows to ask no explanation to Holmes and thaqt is far better to ask Mrs Hudson for the first pot of strong black coffee of the 24 hours.
Dr Watson gets back to be a uni student who has an exam and has not studied!
Tumblr media
You would know, right, Watson? Bet this man is mistreating his back to study just like he used to do for particularly mnemonic exams in medicine. (I study biotech, i studied more or less this way for anatomy... yes, including drawing sketches to remember stuff better)
24 hours later, he's ready!
Tumblr media
Holmes is OUT OF BED, Watson had told him to stay in there , but since he's out he can be teased and get a little kissy. You ready Watson? Very ready, Holmes. Let's go!
Tumblr media
Relationship development! Watson CAN act, even if not that well! Now how to approach Gruner? Propose to sell him this!
Tumblr media
And Watson makes the clever question, What price? He truly scintillates today! And Holmes has the answer for that since #victoriangenteman he can't put a price himself!
And so Watson get to the study and meets out murderer and
Tumblr media
WATSON WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK???!! THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO BE BI ABOUT THE SUSPECT!! Jesus, this man.
Shall we go ON? They examine the ceramic and the baron starts being insulting.
Tumblr media
AND THEN PROPOSES TO QUIZ WATSON. Watson is understandably furious, bet that itch to thrash the hide off gruner didn't go away and is STRONGER now. Fuckit. Cover jumped.
Tumblr media
The baron is just giving Watson an occasion to beat him to a pulp, or he would be wasn't he grabbing a gun WAIT! NOISE!
Tumblr media
HOLMES WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE!?? YOU SHOULD BE HOME AND RE- A WOMAN? DAMNIT, THIS BASTARD IS WOUNDED!
Watson IS after all a very good doctor. And so he attends to that bastard of Gruner
Tumblr media
Some doctoring Watson because it's always good to remember how clever this man is. Ah and it was Kitty! Good girl! Revenge against such a man. People arrive, including a policeman, of course
Tumblr media
But Watson gets away quickly and gets back home where he asks Holmes WHAT THE HELL HE WAS GOING THERE??! Holmes confesses and they exchange info. Holmes got the book! And they give it to Sir James. It all works out (And Watson MIGHT have got the identity of the client, but SHHHH)
Tumblr media
The aftermath is a broken engagement, Gruner quite... not at his best and will never be again. Damn, sulfuric acid is BAD. Kitty is unfortunately convicted, but she gets the lowest sentence possible, hoping she'll be out soon! Holmes gets ALMOST arrested for burglary but manages to get out clean (did also Mycroft put a good word?) and dragged by Watson in a nice vacation! To rest and recover!

Bucky's (41/44)
***Contains soft vore***
Chapter 41: Belly
Leon was paralyzed with terror when he was swallowed by his Giant boss. He was in disbelief that such a terrible thing was really happening, even as the slippery throat walls crushed around him, dragging him down deep inside. The restrictive, suffocating meat tube extended an agonizing distance, like an elevator shaft to hell, until it suddenly dropped him into open space. He plopped down into gurgling, boiling, churning blackness.
Leon panicked. His rational brain switched off, leaving only raw fear and an all-encompassing instinct to survive. He thrashed wildly in pure darkness, slapping his fists and feet against slimy stomach walls, crying out desperately for help. His efforts, of course, were useless. He had no chance of escaping at all. He knew this, having been himself a Giant, who had overheard remarks from his Giant coworkers about how pleasurable, even how arousing it was for them, to have tiny creatures wriggling inside their bellies. Leon had successfully avoided eating a human, but he couldn’t dodge his fate. He was done for.
Eventually, he ran out of energy and gave up, ceasing his struggle. Besides, he didn’t want to give the CEO the satisfaction. He wondered how long it would take for him to die. Oddly enough, the gastric acid that submerged his lower half wasn’t burning or tingling. He collapsed against one of the squishy walls, churning in a rhythmic motion, and began to sob.
“Hey...” a voice called out to him, echoing in the hollow chamber. Leon just about jumped out of his skin, until he recalled Mr. Wolfe had swallowed the human woman before him. In his panic, he completely forgot about her. He wracked his brains to remember her name.
“Uh... Little Debbie?” he answered back awkwardly, his voice quavering through his sniffles. The stomach shifted him further into the acid and a loud rumble erupted nearby, making him shiver.
“That’s the name Bucky gave me. Actually... my real name is Penny. But I guess it doesn’t matter now, since we’re both going to die.” As she spoke, her voice moved closer to him, like she was seeking him out. For somebody who was about to die, she sounded strangely calm.
“H-how can you be so calm?” Leon choked.
“Oh… I’ve been eaten way too many times by now for it to faze me. Plus, I knew this day would come. I’ve prepared myself. As best I can, at least.” Her voice betrayed a trickle of fear, but she composed herself. “Perhaps it’s a fatalistic perspective, but I knew I’d be chosen for fatal ingestion at some point.”
Leon flinched reflexively when something contacted his arm in the darkness, but he understood it was the human and leaned into her touch. Her hand felt quite large, as she was easily able to cup his shoulder. She was twice his size, after all. Leon would never get accustomed to being so small.
“Are you in pain at all? Are you being digested?”
“Surprisingly, no,” Leon stated. “I don’t know how that’s possible. I thought my skin would be peeling off by now.” He cringed as a chunk of pasta splashed down next to him from above, spraying him with fluid. The droplets were hot and rancid but didn’t scald him.
“Maybe that shrinking pill had some protective medicine in it,” Penny mused.
Leon pondered. “Perhaps. They were designing the pills for Giants to be able to eat other Giants, after all. Not that it matters now. The effect will wear off, and both of us will die with no way to get out.”
“Giants are so barbaric,” Penny said with venom, before correcting herself. “Oh, sorry…”
“It’s… it’s okay.” Leon shrugged. “You’re not entirely wrong. But, at the same time, we’re not all bad. Not all Giants are bloodthirsty monsters.” He paused. “I would claim to be good, but to be honest, I’m not. I’m really not. I’ve been too complacent this whole time, too passive. I should’ve done something sooner, before the whole situation got out of control. And now... now I’m paying the price with my life.” His words hitched in his throat, and Penny gave him a reassuring squeeze.
“If only... I was stronger... If I wasn’t such a coward and a fool, I could’ve prevented this...” The tears started to flow again, and his voice wavered. “I was trying to do good, to make up for my wrongs, but I failed... I failed everyone... I’m—I’m sorry, Penny... I didn’t even have the strength to save you...”
“There, there, it’s alright. It’s okay. You tried your best.” Penny wrapped her arms around the miniaturized man, only half her size, to give him a hug. She was in the profession of physically comforting lonely men, so such an act came naturally to her, and she was quite skilled at it. Hugging him comforted her as well, when she was so scared and sad inside. She didn’t want to die alone.
They stayed together without speaking for a while, with only the constant noises of the stomach digesting and vitals pulsing to fill the emptiness. Leon continued to quietly weep as Penny held him. He feared dying. He had not expected to face death so soon, and he wasn’t ready. He lamented that he didn’t get a chance to say goodbye to his parents. He regretted never starting a family of his own, with a wife and children. That chance was forever lost to him now. Penny cried softly too, holding the miniature man against her chest. He felt so fragile as he trembled, showing such poignant and raw emotional vulnerability to accompany his diminished physical stature, like a child. Penny was thankful to have him with her, in her last moments. Though she hardly knew him, and he was a Giant, he nevertheless seemed like a good man.
They toppled over when Mr. Wolfe finished his meal and stood up to walk to his car. His belly was not designed for passengers to ride comfortably inside, obviously lacking seating or handholds, so the pair had no choice but to slide around in the acid as his huge strides rocked his body back and forth. The motion was smoother when he sat down in his car and started to drive. Penny righted herself again, sitting against the wall and holding Leon in her lap as best she could. He didn’t protest, and laid against her, still shaking. She stroked his hair and thought about what else she could say to him. She wanted to distract herself from the knowledge that the pills would wear off soon, and they’d both be writhing in unbearable agony.
“What’s your name?” she inquired.
“Leon,” he mumbled. He didn’t see much of a point in telling her, considering they wouldn’t be together long, but he had to admit it still felt nice to be acquainted.
“Thank you, Leon, for not eating me,” she said. “I’ve never met a Giant who was nice to me. I suppose you’re right. Not all Giants are bad.”
“I never intended to harm you,” Leon explained. “I admit, I was planning to eat you safely with the pill, but only because I had no other choice. It wasn’t something I wanted to do. I had a larger purpose.”
“What do you mean, you had no other choice?” She was genuinely curious, seeking to understand the bizarre circumstances that brought a gentle Giant like Leon to the restaurant.
Leon took a deep breath. “The Giant who ate us is none other than Mr. Wolfe, the CEO of Big Corp Inc., the company that sells the human pills to Bucky. He’s also my boss. He’s been engaging in illegal activity and unethical business practices for a while now, and I finally got fed up with it and devised a plan to take him down, along with Bucky, in one fell swoop.” Penny listened with wide eyes.
“In order for my plan to work, I needed to lure Mr. Wolfe out of his office for a few hours and distract him. With luck, he’d be gone long enough for Tanya to access his computer, leak all his secret files, and shut down the entire operation. But-”
“Who’s Tanya?” Penny interjected.
“Oh... she’s a human. She escaped from Bucky’s, actually, so you might know her. Her name used to be Patty.”
“Oh my gosh! Patty!” Penny exclaimed. “Of course I knew her! I was hoping she made it. It’s not like Bucky tells us what’s going on in the outside world. I’m glad she’s safe.”
Leon gulped. “I fear she might be in harm’s way now. I wasn’t able to keep Mr. Wolfe away for as long as I would have liked. I’m assuming he’s returning to his office as we speak. Hopefully, even with everything going wrong here, she’ll still be able to succeed in shutting down Bucky and escape his office before it’s too late.”
“I hope so too,” Penny agreed. As if on cue, they were scrambled about as Mr. Wolfe stepped out of his car and strutted into the Big Corp building. The stakes were high, but Leon felt detached as the knowledge sank in that he wouldn’t survive the encounter. What happened on the outside was crucial, of course, but less so for him personally. Nothing mattered to him anymore.
Leon felt a rising sensation, and he recognized Mr. Wolfe must be in the elevator. His consciousness was dimming. Mr. Wolfe answered his phone, and his voice boomed through his guts in deep, rich tones, but Leon could no longer understand his words. He was fading away. He could only focus on breathing; with every breath, he strained harder to take in sufficient oxygen. His skin started to tingle, and he discerned his time had come. The pill was wearing off. He was going to die. Penny spoke to him, but he couldn’t hear her anymore. He closed his eyes and let blissful sleep spirit him away before the pain could seize him.
Penny realized his pill was no longer protecting him, and tried her best to hold him out of the acid, despite her full awareness of the futility of her efforts. This was no easy task, and her arms tired quickly: Leon was smaller, but still half her size. Mr. Wolfe was moving around and yelling about something, making her task all the more difficult. Just when her arms were about to give out, Leon began contorting and cracking, and she lost her grip as he started to expand. Penny didn’t understand what was going on, and she had no time to react before she was compressed painfully against the wall of the stomach and then burst through.
By the time Leon grew back into a Giant and exploded out of Mr. Wolfe’s body, Penny was exhausted. Her body was screaming in agony, particularly her left side. She slid across slippery innards and launched into a terrifying free-fall. Fortunately, she landed on something soft—Leon’s huge, bare chest—before tumbling the rest of the way to the ground. She looked up, with her heads sideways on the floor, to behold Leon as a behemoth again, unmoving. She couldn’t keep her eyes open, and her eyelids fluttered closed. She heard someone call her name and she cried out for help before losing consciousness.
When Leon woke up, he was confused. He obviously wasn’t in a belly anymore. As he stared up at the white ceiling, he almost believed himself to be dead, but if he was dead his body wouldn’t ache so much. As his mind slowly rejoined the living, he realized he was in a bed. He was wearing a hospital gown, with an IV drip in his arm. His body had been cleaned up and bandaged, and he could see his skin had been mildly burned in various places, though not bad enough for him to be seriously injured.
He was alive. Somehow, by some miracle, he was alive and free. Leon experienced a burst of euphoria before he was inundated with questions. How was it possible? Was he back to his normal size? What happened to Mr. Wolfe? Was Tanya successful? What happened to the human who was with him? He shot up in bed with a start and looked around him. Penny! He hoped she had survived and was safe.
He nearly jumped out of bed to search for answers when he noticed a human-scale hospital bed set up on his bedside table. Penny was passed out in the bed, with her leg and arm in casts. Leon was relieved to see her alive, but he was saddened by her condition. He wondered how she was injured, but he didn’t have any time to think about it before she began to stir. Leon’s heart pulsed with anticipation, and he leaned in closer to see her better.
The tiny woman murmured indistinguishably and rubbed her eyes with her free hand. She grimaced when she attempted to move her other limbs and was greeted with sharp pain. She opened her eyes and weakly turned her head to the side to see her new casts. She groaned.
Leon shifted slightly, and Penny’s attention snapped up at the colossal movement. She let out a small yelp at the all-encompassing mass of the Giant above her, her face betraying her fear. Leon’s countenance crumbled.
“Oh! S-sorry!” he coughed, backing off and raising his hands in a placating gesture. “I-I didn’t mean to scare you…” He sat sheepishly on his own Giant-sized bed and clasped his hands to his knees. He hadn’t considered how scary he must look to her, at his full size.
Penny recovered from her shock swiftly. It was jarring, to have a man that had been small enough to hold in her arms suddenly towering above her on an impossible scale. However, she could see his gentle kindness reflected in his soft eyes, devoid of malice or hunger. He was a sensitive soul.
“Don’t worry about it, Leon,” she assured him. “I was just startled. I didn’t recognize you at first. Most of the time, if I see a Giant leaning over me like that, it means I’m going to be eaten again.” She quivered at the thought.
“Sorry,” Leon apologized again, softer this time. After being shrunk, stuck in a sandwich, and ultimately eaten by the CEO, he could relate. He felt guilty for being a Giant, guilty for his reluctant involvement in Big Corp’s treacherous ways. He wished he could take away her traumas and pain. He gave a small cough and changed the subject. “So… what happened? How are we alive? How did you get hurt? I passed out, so I don’t recall anything…”
Penny explained, and Leon’s expression morphed into regret and shame as he was informed that he, in fact, was the one responsible for breaking Penny’s arm and leg. He started to apologize yet again, but Penny shushed him.
“Stop that,” she scolded. “You saved me, Leon. You saved us both. I’m very grateful.” As she looked around the gargantuan hospital room, the reality started to sink in that she had escaped Bucky’s clutches, and her eyes grew wet with tears. “I’m free… I’m finally free of that place…” she murmured to herself, overcome.
Leon melted at the touching display. He had a strong urge to reach his hands out and hold her, or touch her, but he kept his distance. He didn’t want to frighten her again. He cleared his throat.
“Really… I should be thanking you. You comforted me in a dark moment. I was so scared…” He tightened his grip around his wrist at the memory. Penny smiled gently. He didn’t realize that he had comforted her just as much, in their bleakest moment together. She found his frank honesty regarding his vulnerability endearing.
Before either of them could say anything more, a Giantess nurse came into the room. Penny clammed up and blanched. Leon noticed her reaction and scooted closer to her defensively with a natural instinct.
“Oh, good! I see you both are awake!” the nurse said in a chipper voice. Oblivious to Penny’s fear, she came over to check Leon’s vitals and removed the IV from his arm. “Your injuries weren’t too bad. You’re in stable condition and good to go, sir. There’s some clothes you can change into right over there.”
She turned and looked down at Penny. “You can leave too. There isn’t anything else we can do for those broken bones. Only time will heal those.” Without waiting for a response, she left the room in a hurry to attend to other patients.
Leon and Penny blinked, then exchanged looks, staring at each other. They realized the problem simultaneously. Penny was unable to walk, take care of herself, or do anything, really, with a broken arm and leg. She wouldn’t be able to get home on her own, and she didn’t want to be an additional burden on her family when her mother was already so ill. On the other hand, the idea of staying in the Giant hospital by herself frightened her. She had nobody else to turn to.
Leon licked his lips. “Um… if you need me to take you anywhere, I’d be more than happy to… or…” He wasn’t sure if what he was going to suggest was entirely appropriate, or if she’d be offended, but he’d feel worse if she needed the help and he didn’t offer it to her. He fidgeted with his hands. “If you want… I’d be happy to give you a place to stay, if you need…” His face grew warm.
Penny brightened. “Y-yes, I’d like that,” she responded, feeling a light flutter in her chest.
Leon swallowed. “O-okay.” He didn’t move. He wasn’t sure what to do next. He thought about that frightened look on her face when she first looked up at him, and he didn’t want to get any closer. He was paralyzed on the bed.
“Y-you can pick me up… Leon…” Penny suggested, unable to keep a tremor from slipping into her voice.
Leon nodded. “Let me get these clothes on first.” He wanted to hold her, more than anything, but he was nervous. He was stalling. He went into the bathroom and changed into the cheap clothes the hospital had provided him.
He took a deep breath and reemerged. He looked down at Penny and smiled. Slowly, so as not to scare her, he walked over to her and held out his hand. With the upmost gentleness, he curled his fingers around her and lifted her off the bed, placing her fragile body gingerly into the palm of his other hand. She was trembling.
“You doing okay?” he asked. Penny nodded wordlessly as she gazed up at him, unblinking. She was shaking, but it wasn’t merely out of fright. She was nervous, but also… exhilarated.
He smiled in a way he hoped was reassuring, and tried his best to keep his gait smooth as he shuffled out of the room. As he walked, he kept his eyes on the little lady dwarfed by his huge hand, constantly checking on her. His heart felt lighter than it had in a very, very long time. That monster Mr. Wolfe was gone, and Leon had to assume that Tanya had succeeded in finding at least something to shut down Bucky’s. He didn’t know what would happen with his job at Big Corp, but he suddenly didn’t care either. More than anything, his conscience had finally been unchained from its terrible burden. He’d done the right thing for once. He was free.

H Acid Prices Trend | Pricing | Database | Index | News | Chart
Tumblr media
The pricing of H Acid, a crucial intermediate in the dye and pigment industry, has shown considerable fluctuations in recent years due to various factors influencing the market. As a vital raw material in the production of azo dyes, H Acid's demand is intrinsically linked to the textile industry's performance, which is one of the largest consumers of dyes. The prices of H Acid have been notably impacted by changes in the global supply chain, raw material costs, environmental regulations, and shifts in production capacities across major manufacturing regions.
One significant factor affecting H Acid prices is the cost of raw materials. The primary raw materials used in the production of H Acid include naphthalene and sulfuric acid. Any fluctuations in the prices of these inputs directly affect the production costs of H Acid. For instance, an increase in crude oil prices often leads to higher naphthalene prices, thereby pushing up the cost of producing H Acid. Similarly, sulfuric acid prices can be influenced by broader industrial demand and supply dynamics, further contributing to the volatility in H Acid pricing.
Get Real Time Prices of H Acid: https://www.chemanalyst.com/Pricing-data/h-acid-1550
Environmental regulations have also played a crucial role in shaping the H Acid market. Stringent environmental policies, especially in major manufacturing countries like China and India, have led to the closure of several dye intermediate production facilities that failed to meet the required environmental standards. These closures have resulted in a reduced supply of H Acid, thereby driving up prices. Additionally, compliance with environmental regulations often necessitates significant investments in cleaner technologies and waste management systems, which can increase the overall production costs and, consequently, the market price of H Acid.
The global supply chain disruptions experienced over the past few years have also had a profound impact on H Acid prices. Events such as the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the vulnerabilities in global supply chains, causing delays and increasing transportation costs. These disruptions have led to supply shortages in several regions, further exacerbating price volatility. Moreover, geopolitical tensions and trade policies can influence the availability and cost of importing and exporting H Acid, thereby affecting global market prices.
Production capacity expansions and contractions in key manufacturing regions significantly impact the H Acid market. China and India are the leading producers of H Acid, and any changes in their production capacities can create ripples across the global market. For example, an increase in production capacity in these regions can lead to an oversupply situation, exerting downward pressure on prices. Conversely, production cuts or plant shutdowns can tighten supply and push prices upward. Additionally, new entrants in the market or technological advancements that improve production efficiency can also influence pricing dynamics.
Another critical aspect influencing H Acid prices is the level of demand from the textile industry. The textile sector's performance, driven by fashion trends, consumer spending, and economic conditions, directly affects the demand for dyes and, consequently, H Acid. During periods of high demand for textiles, the increased requirement for dyes can lead to higher H Acid prices. Conversely, economic downturns or shifts towards alternative coloring methods can reduce demand and lower prices. Seasonal variations and major festivals can also create fluctuations in demand, contributing to short-term price changes.
The competitive landscape of the H Acid market is another factor that cannot be overlooked. The presence of numerous players in the market leads to competitive pricing strategies, influencing overall market prices. Companies may engage in price wars to gain market share, leading to temporary reductions in prices. However, this competitive behavior can also result in some manufacturers operating at reduced profit margins, potentially affecting their long-term sustainability and market stability.
Technological advancements in production processes have also had an impact on H Acid prices. Innovations that improve yield, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency can lower production costs, potentially translating into lower market prices. On the other hand, the adoption of advanced technologies often requires significant capital investments, which can initially drive up costs. Over time, however, these technological improvements can lead to more stable pricing as production processes become more streamlined and cost-effective.

Myristic Acid Market Regional Insights
North America
United States: The U.S. economy has shown resilience post-pandemic but faces inflationary pressures, particularly in housing and consumer goods. The Federal Reserve's interest rate policies remain a focus, as the balance between controlling inflation and avoiding recession has impacted spending, borrowing, and business growth. Key sectors like tech, finance, and renewable energy are experiencing dynamic changes, with AI, fintech, and green technology receiving heavy investments.
Canada: Economic stability remains a hallmark of Canada’s economy, although housing affordability and household debt are pressing issues. Canada continues to emphasize a green energy transition, investing in hydroelectric, wind, and solar power. The nation is also focused on attracting skilled labor, especially in technology, healthcare, and energy, as part of its economic strategy.
Mexico: Mexico has benefited from a nearshoring trend, as companies look to relocate manufacturing closer to the U.S. market. With a strong trade relationship via USMCA (the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement), Mexico is seeing investments in its automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries. However, inflation, interest rates, and a need for infrastructure development remain areas of focus.
