EBU Leggeri - Soltanto un infortunio alla spalla ferma un Marsili da leggenda!

Alla York Hall di Londra, la storia punisce beffardamente un immenso Emiliano MARSILI (42-1-1), fermato ad un passo dall'impresa da un infortunio alla spalla. Il 47enne di Civitavecchia, già più volte campione europeo, stava infliggendo un'autentica lezione di boxe al 33enne gallese Gavin GWYNNE (17-2-1), chiaramente non all'altezza della situazione. Sul più bello, nell'intervallo tra settimo e ottavo round, un infortunio alla spalla costringeva il nostro pugile alla resa. Veramente un peccato perchè "Tizzo" risultava essere in vantaggio sui cartellini di due dei tre giudici (uno aveva addirittura +4) e perchè il suo splendido pugilato fatto di schivate e combinazioni di rientro avevano irretito l'altissimo Gwynne annichilendo il pubblico inglese.

Purtroppo non avrebbe avuto molto senso continuare con la spalla destra in condizioni critiche. Ciononostante l'effimero successo di Gwynne, oggi credo sia doveroso celebrare l'atto finale di un grande campione. Mi sento di scrivere che se Marsili, nei suoi anni migliori, avesse ricevuto un supporto adeguato da Federazione e TV per poter svolgere l'attività pro (ricordiamo che Emiliano non ha mai lasciato il suo lavoro al porto di Civitavecchia), probabilmente avrebbe avuto tutti i mezzi e le qualità per poter scrivere pagine pugilistiche degne dei più grandi guerrieri che hanno rappresentato l'Italia in questo sport.

Proprio per questo motivo Emiliano va celebrato da chiunque ami la boxe. Grazie di tutto!

Since i haven't seen many people post about them (and even cygames is a bit forgetful....HSM SIDE STORY WHERE CYGAMES??), i go back to my job of spreading society propaganda

tbh at first it kinda bugged me that cassius had his sr outfit instead of the ssr but thinking about it , it actually makes more sense than what happens in the event, how could have isaac made a society style outfit on the moon without being found out? showing it it was just a plot device to tell the players hey this guy is getting an ssr unit! it makes more sense imho that he'd gat his matching outfit back in the sky realm
