Guiding light au

God sends one of his biggest cherubs down to Hell, a white and gold cobra they named Precious.

Precious is very innocent and impressionable so he tries his best to please God in the request to guide the souls of Hell.

In the process Precious adopts a new name and plays the part of a villain but is very very bad at it.

When later fighting alongside his new friends he dies as a martyr and is let loose into his cherub kind who have long sense forgot him.

Hes a very friendly sort and very cuddly but after being in Hell has formed some less than Holy attributes.

God keeps him on his hip at all times to try and see what's wrong, gets very attached and learns to understand sinners from his not so dumber down perspective.

I'm not normal about these 2 omgggggg. For those who don't know seasonal guides here becomes like godparents of kids born during their season, and I think Siffrin was one of those kids who then kept the love for the performance crew and acting in general.(just bc you were born during a certain season it doesn't mean you have to follow its theme later in life) and nothing these 2 are so silly they are the equivalent of the Peter B. Parker and Miles Morales meme

Actually going insane over the implications of Jason asking Dick to be the Robin to his Batman in Battle for the Cowl.

Like I initially took it at the purely surface-level of Jason wanting a partner in the general sense. Which made sense, it's a huge responsibility and a lonely one so an assistant/sidekick/partner seems a no-brainer if you can get one.

But then I really thought about it, because Jason is not asking Dick to be his partner in the general sense; he's not even asking Dick to be his Nightwing. He's asking Dick to be his Robin.

And they both know exactly what Jason means: "Be the light to my darkness. Be the smile to my scowl. Be the hope to my fear. "

He's saying "Be 'Robin'; be the embodiment of Love and Justice and Goodness. Be the exceptional person that you have always been. Be the slightly-less exceptional person that I was when I wore your colors. Be the person that I was in the process of becoming and might have been (or might still be), if only Joker hadn't clipped my wings."

He's saying "I am prepared to become vengeance, become the Night. And I will go further than Bruce ever dared to, because it is what is needed. I will be the necessary evil. But you don't have to be. If Batman is Gotham's curse, Robin has always been its blessing. I will be the brutal punishment to our world, and I am asking you to be its incandescent gift."

He's saying, "Be for me, what we were for Him. Be my anchor, my comfort, my hope. Remind me what it's all for, why it's all worth it. And remind yourself as well."

He's saying "Be 'Robin' again--for both of our sakes."

Ceremony - Ethereal Star AU

"It is time... Are you ready?" The Unspoken turned to the young prophet. They held an orb of light in their hands. "I... I am ready." Anubis held his head high and puffed out his chest. His palms were sweating from his nerves, but his excitement overpowered his anxiety. "Good." The Unspoken gestured with their head for Anubis to follow them out of the tent. As they walked out, many voices started to cheer. The noise was overwhelming to Anubis, and he had to hold back the urge to cover his ears. He kept his head held high. The Unspoken carved a way through the people, they parted as they walked forward through the crowd until they came to a stone pillar.

They turned to face the crowd and slowly raised a hand up into the air. The people hushed as The Unspoken began to talk:

"This day marks the end of my reign and the beginning of a new - a new Overseer for our sacred trials. He has shown me his abilities time and time again; his delicate care for the injured, his vast understanding of the magics, and his ability to adjust to any kind of challenge. This day, I pass on the sacred Flame." The Unspoken gestured for Anubis to step forward, and so he did. The Unspoken raised their hands up, making the orb ascend. They then moved their hands quickly outward, causing the orb to expel light from it at a rapid rate. The light from the orb swirled around Anubis. Each small flame began to hit him and enter through his skin. It started out as a few at at time until all the flames began to absorb into him. The light slowly raised Anubis from the ground. He felt a deep warmth within his chest, and the feeling grew hotter and hotter as it spread through his body.

The orb faded as all the light went into Anubis. When the orb was gone, Anubis fell to the ground. He shook as he struggled to get up, fumbling and unsteady. He gripped his chest as the warm sensation throughout his body returned to his core. Once he was on his feet, he looked at The Unspoken. They were on their knees, weakened by the transfer. They looked up at Anubis and nodded their head. Anubis nodded back.

Anubis turned to the people. All of their unblinking eyes were on him now. He took in a deep breath and let out a soft sigh. He placed his hands over his chest, summoning the orb of light from within him as he slowly moved his hands out from his body. The crowd cheered at their new Overseer.

I wanted to redesign the overseer for the Ethereal Star AU since I thought his design looked a little bland. I might redesign the other elemental prophet's designs too, but I'll see... Anyway, this was just a fun short blorb of lore for the AU

Blitz - Rush's brother (green) and sister (pink). multiple personality disorder + bipolar disorder. 2 in 1 indeed!

Haste - just an angry dangerous wanted virus lol

A-60 - a selfish bitch who thinks that he would replace Rush easily. Also is the main guy of the rooms trio because no one gave a shit about it anyways

A-90 - dissatisfied with the job but adequate granpa

A-120 - he's just there

Halt - ga(y)mer

Eyes - idk anymore

Screech - kinda uh uhm ermm he is um okay he's a nerd duh

Rush - a pretty known entity. the "you don't need to be smart if you have strength" kind of guy (rivals with A-60 btw)

Ambush - an adequate silly

Jack - just like Ambush, but without "adequate"

Figure - literally just a blind dog walking on hind legs. nahh come on he cant even speak at all he doesn't have a normal jaw

Seek - literally just A-90 but kinda younger

G. L. - owner of the hotel. serious as heck, but kind (also created the crucifix and the candle)

C. L. - GL's right hand, AKA her assistant. Like in the game he doesn't really help, if not counting the placement of timers and stuff supplies in backdoors (also made the curious potions, or whatever those're called)

Guiding light

as seen in the other headcanons they mostly conceal themselves from other entities, though they are very open to humans and frequently help them.

your first interaction would be in door 11 (which happened to be a dark room). you were taking a long time to find the key to open the door before screech or another entity killed you, after 2 minutes or so you noticed a faint glow coming from a nearby dresser. It was a light pleasant blue with particles around it, at first you weren't quite sure whether or not to approach, But you quickly decided you had nothing to lose and opened it. There it was, the key for door 12. You quickly snatched it up and bolted for the door, which also had that strange glow around it. you looked back at the dimly illuminated room for a minute before progressing on.

they didn't know why, but they felt the strange need to protect you, even more than usual. So...

...they did

every time rush or another entity was approaching they would purposefully block its way by locking the door and illuminating the nearest hiding spot (not a closet). this, of course caused curious light and some of the other stronger entities to accuse them of playing favorites. which was correct...but they didn't need to know that yet.

they were much more concerned with you to care about that. what if they don't warn you in time and rush gets you? what if you look at eyes for to long? what if you turn the wrong way and seek catches you? what if they can't save you? these thoughts quickly turn the angelic like being into a state of constant paranoia.

you're so fragile compared to the other monsters in this hell, helpless even. what kind of guardian angel would they be if they let you get hurt? or die? You couldn't possibly survive on your own, they must help you...they have to save you. they can't let you escape, it's even more dangerous down in the mines!

right before you reach the elevator after fixing the power your quickly snatched away by an unknown force, dragged through many doors all the way to the infirmary. they hear you screaming in fear, and truly it hurts them, but you just don't understand their helping you just yet. they place you down on one of the many beds there and cover you up, you're ofcourse still quite scared. even their attempts to lull you to sleep seemingly do nothing, is it their form? are they to scary for you? their mostly covered, like halt. though they suppose the fact you can't really see them scares you more.

they sigh in exhaustion, like a parent with a screaming baby. they didn't really want to have to leave you alone, what if you escape and get yourself hurt...but alas. perhaps it's best if they leave you for a minute, they need to go get herbs from the greenhouse anyway.

type: overprotective, caring, paranoid

overall: 5/10, really soft with you regardless of how you may act. but your still quite afraid of what they could do...
