D&D 5e PC free to a good home: Human Bard, Variant Human build wherein they start with a Feat. The Feat is Magic Initiate into the Warlock class. They got it because they defeated a Devil in a crossroads fiddle duel and, when they refused the golden fiddle prize, knowing it to be a trap, the Devil laughed and offered them a straightforward deal instead: three wishes, with a teaser sample of 2 cantrips + a 1 use/day petty spell, and after the fulfillment of the third wish, their soul will come directly to Hell.

The Bard agreed - they're fine so long as they never use the third wish, right? Heck, they'll just never use any of the wishes, and they can escape this very dangerous conversation with a little magical boost and a great story to tell.

How you play them is entirely up to you, except know that 3 times, you can call upon this Devil for a wish...which will manifest, mechanically, as taking a level in Warlock. For the third wish, they will give you that same golden fiddle, which will act as a Pact of the Blade Pact Weapon, mechanically modified to function primarily as a spellcasting focus rather than a literal weapon.

Your relationship with the Devil is also up to you and the DM. Personally, I'd go for slowburn romance with a College of Creation Bard, to really fascinate a properly Lucifer-coded Devil, fulfilling the final term of the deal by straight-up moving to Hell with your new sugar mommy (after defeating the Big Bad of the campaign, which is what you needed the third wish for). Or the Devil could be the Big Bad of the campaign! Or you can never make a wish and multiclass into Warlock, if you're very strong of will! It's your story to tell.

One of the coolest things about my job is that my company invests a lot of time, effort, money, and reputation in giving employees access to impactful resources + connections :) Around every Juneteenth (usually a little before) we have moderated private forums for people across the company to connect and speak in good company w good candor + give the space to ask or answer questions to bridge gaps. These initially started in response to the Ferguson police brutality, but were so overwhelmingly popular that they've added numerous sessions and have made it an annual thing. We have employee driven resource groups that host, maintain, and organize month-long events for disability awareness, neurodiversity, black history (same group who organizes our Juneteenth events :3), Pride month, etc. It's something I'm really grateful for! Just last week I was able to sit in on an anthropologist giving an incredible talk on how people build cultures :D I think he was brought in by our DEI team? I know a lot of this education is instrumental in my own understanding of what I want to bring to my country's healthcare, so it's really nice to open the calendar and see a buffet of seminars :3

Okay first lets talk about the main party. gooblecks memories are SO COOL and goobleck freeing the king is SO AWESOME and felipe is THE GOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i miss gillion. Seeing the memory. That gillion had. Of him punching """the navy officer""" GIRL THATS JAYS DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS INSANE! THATS SO INSANE! and and and and. instead of bursting in and punching him he just... sits down. and listens. and makes this BIG ASS SPEECH. ABOUT IT! AND THE TORTLE SMILING! AND HE WAS SO APT! ohhh my god. and then the nightmare itself TEARING and GLITCHING and niklaus's BIG ASS EYE looking in like theyre DOLLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND GRABBING HIM! YEAH!!!!!!! this is like best line of events for dunjon i think. im kind of glad gillion was in there instead of anypony else because like YEAH niklaus NEEDS HIM!!! and niklaus is so powerful. so obviously niklaus can get him back. ohh my god. WHAT an episode. i love just roll with it

modern au with the sumeru gang where they all play dnd regularly except Alhaitham, but one night their usual main magic user can't make the session and they're already at Kaveh's so he just drags his roommate to the table

and Alhaitham really does try not to show how much he's immediately into it. he just keeps showing up to sessions after that and pretends it's because he can mess with Kaveh in game
