Stealing streaming mass media for free

Carrying cash/cash card

Using my library card for books, curiositystream and audiobooks and music

Taking bills off autopay. You don’t get a payment unless I send it.

Calling companies to tell them I ain’t got it until they finally offer me the nice cooperative plan they give the rich people.

Setting a menu for my groceries including my favorite foods so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. Price per plate like a head chef lol.

Realizing that one of the top two employers in America is so bad at delivery that I can get half my order refunded until they work out the kinks in their new service.

Charging back everything I don’t remember buying. I didn’t buy that. Hit my line and put that cash back!

I’m moving so I can be broke somewhere without hurricanes since I can’t afford to evacuate anymore. I used to be a stationary, loyal worker. I’m more open to moving often. I’m leaving in June.

With that in getting better at driving since Boeing and Delta are destroying air travel.

I worked so hard to drag myself out of poverty only for this fake ass inflation-as-punishment and other things to slap me back down. Some genuinely tough breaks have me right back to the poorhouse but I’m good. I just needed a second to cry and catch my breath. I grew up working class poor. This is nothing new to me. I’m also neurodivergent and Black. Of course I’m bout to gamify these hard times. Gotta keep going somehow.

I am always carving out a cute little life for myself. It’s gonna be adorable no matter what. And no, they’re not gonna get any more labor out of me to make it—bc if it comes to it, that’s when imma get to[call drops].

I’ve probably said this before but having every good and service turn into a subscription model is one of the worst new developments of our era of capitalism. Like yeah, shit sucked before but it didn’t suck for 19.99 a month indefinitely. This some new shit.

Jaune: *Running after one of the Grimm* Hey come back!

Grimm: *Enters a cave and closes it with a big rock*

I’ve only watched the first 5 episodes of the live action ATLA so far. And I’m on the side of disliking / borderline hating it for the reasons that many fans have already stated-

But also another thing that I REALLY dislike about this new adaptation is that they took out the beautiful bending lore??? Like, in the original animated series, each bending was rooted in different martial art origins; I hate that Aang is out here teaching Katara how to waterbend based on what he knows about airbending principles. And even if they just threw out that world building aspect out- it makes the action scenes so damn boring????

Part of the reason why I loved the action scenes in the original animated series was to see the intricate fighting choreography that reflected each element’s bending style. Whenever we got action scenes like that in the animated series, we always saw it in a wide lens shot from far away so you can see all the dynamic movements and difference in martial arts styles.

I feel like with the live action, with the exception of the main firebender characters, they’ve really lazed out with the bending/fighting choreography. They zoom in on the characters and rely on cheap shooting tricks like shaky cam or slow mo. GOD do they overuse the slowmo. The earth benders look nearly as pathetic as the M Knight earth benders when they do their bending. GRRAAAAH!
