Seriously,...
I was today years old, than I found out, that Anne Archer, Catherine Bell, Nancy Cartwright, Jenna Elfman, Elisabeth Moss, Michael Peña and Giovanni Ribisi are all current members of Scientology, alongside it's poster guys John Travolta and Tom Cruise...
Like, WTF.
Dharma from Dharma & Greg, Jenna Elfman.
The woman who is the voice behind of Bart Simpson.
The lady from JAG, who is a Good Witch, too.
The mom of Dennis and Dee, from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
&
Last, but not least the lady from "The Handmaid's Tale".
Bonus, the other 2, of course. Because, JT and TC are well known, members of Scientology. So does, jailbird Danny Masterson (his family - daughter, wife and two of the siblings of him.).
But, I am glad for those who left this cult, behind them...
Like.:
Jason Lee
Juliette Lewis
Lisa Marie Presley
Laura Prepon
Leah Remini
Mimi Rogers *
Jeffrey Tambor
John Stamos
Kirstie Alley
Vince Offer
Katie Holmes *
Beck
Isaac Hayes
Chick Corea
Nicole Kidman *
Paul Haggis
(Etc.)
So glad, tho.
*The fact, that all of the 3 exwives of Tom Cruise (Mimi, Nicole and Katie) are left, the cult says a lot & it's speaks in high volumes, but not many hear it... cuz, they are deaf.*
RIP Lisa Marie & Kirstie.
*facepalms, cursing, crying and sipping my coffee, while I try not to think abt, the facts that I mentioned.*
(Oh, the respects that's lost. I still, like Bart, tho. Glad, that I watch The Simpsons mostly, in my native language voices. But, Dharma. FFS. Also, Anne Archer (the seasoned nepobaby, that no one mentions when it comes to nepoism - so does, Larry Hagman aka J.R, too.)... Oh, forget to mention, that Archer's son is also a minister in the Scientology. *vomit mentally, while role eyes repeatedly.* What the actual fucked, fucking fuck...
That's all folks...

The Okmoniks — Afterparty Fever!!! (Slovenly)
The Okmoniks carry a strong whiff of aughts-era “rock is back” primitivism, in the rampaging guitars, the perky keyboards, the ragged happy-go-lucky mayhem of their half punk/half bubblegum songs. You could file them with your whole mid-aughts collection of Get Hip outfits: the Cynics, the Ugly Beats, the Mullens. That throwback flavor is, perhaps, no accident. This second Okmoniks full-length ever comes 17 years after the first one, the very similarly named Party Fever!!!
But though it took 17 years to get from the party to the afterparty, the Okmoniks show no obvious signs of wear. Lead singer Helene 33 sings and bangs an Ace Tone organ with a teenagers’ riotous glee. Sammy Claiborn rips out minimally chorded guitar parts with flair. The bass player is unspecified (either Jason or Tyler, saith Slovenly) but adept, threading sinuous thump through fast-paced early rock-style rave-ups. And the drummer Pascual is the OKs bloody beating heart, pumping life and color into one- and two-minute tunes. It all runs fast and hard and full of fun. The whole album is over in less than 17 minutes.
You might think that, as the years go by, the Okmoniks might take on a mature focus, focusing their rowdy anarchism on grown-up subjects — kids, jobs, death, whatever. But in fact, the band still spins its boyfriend/girlfriend plates like a juggler, tossing them out when they annoy, snagging them back when they deign to return. These are all songs about high school, but not current high school. There are no cell phones, Tik Tok accounts, nudes or influencers. It’s not even about when these people went to high school — more like the 1960s.
And yet, who’s to say that even a bad boyfriends’ return isn’t something to celebrate when it’s framed in tootling organ blasts, truly reckless drumming and Helene 33’s tough-but-tender delivery? “I’ll Let You In” is a blast, even if it’s a temporal anomaly. “Cry a Little Longer,” views the same troubled relationship from the down part of the cycle, but bops nonetheless with a girl group ebullience and what an organ solo mid-cut! “Next Worst Thing” runs so headlong and giddy that it almost doesn’t matter what it’s about (but spoiler: it’s about not being appreciated romantically). Claiborn’s guitar is especially torrid on this one, shades of Greg Cartwright in Time Bomb High School.
So, what are we to make of Afterparty Fever!!! On the plus side, it’s brash and super-charged and fun. On the minus, it sounds like something you kinda, mighta, sorta heard before. Still have you heard it like this? Maybe not.

Good morning! I hope you slept well and feel rested? Currently sitting in my study, attired only in my blue towelling robe, enjoying my first cuppa of the day. Welcome to the working week although, for those of you working in the NHS, welcome to just another day, and welcome to July: the seventh month of the year! Ain’t this year whizzing by!
Many thanks to everyone that listened to the radio show live and to everyone that will listen to the show on MixCloud. The Letter O (Part One) this Saturday at 1.00 p.m. Executive Producer: Matt Louis.
On Saturday afternoon, we’d been invited to a BBQ in Reading, so we didn’t get there until after 5.00, but we were very happy we made it! Waiting for us were our hosts Greg and Keri Emmerson and a whole clutch of beautiful people. Thankfully, there was no DJ trying to impress us with their set, so the classic tunes were set at ‘background music’ level and we didn’t have to shout in someone’s ear. As Greg is a former ‘Masterchef’ contestant, the food was mouth-watering! The Trouble gave me a piece of jerk chicken and, before someone could get me a plate, it was already in my belly (and dribbling down my arms!) As we could hear ourselves speak, the conversation was lively and, on a warm summer’s afternoon, surrounded by beautiful people, spoiled with delicious food and drink, I was able to sit back, smile and truly enjoy my life. You go to an event like that and you have one of those, “Aaah, life is good!” moments. Big love to Greg and Keri for the invite!
I suspect the English police are probably quite relieved that English people don’t destroy cities every time an English policeman murders an innocent civilian. If that happened in America, most cities would have been burnt to the ground by now! The footage from France is quite remarkable and shows that ordinary working people are growing weary of lawless law-enforcers!
Our current go-to show for light relief while we’re eating lunch or dinner is ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’. (Yes, I know we’re late to the party.) The strength of the show is not only the script but the characters and their lovable quirks: Diaz’s love of violence and mentally unstable men, the sarge’s obsession with yogurt and his talking in the third-person, and the captain’s almost Wesker-like insistence on proper language and grammar. When we complete all nine seasons, it will be just like ‘Modern Family’ and ‘This Is Us’ all over again; loss, emptiness, withdrawal symptoms. Nine-Nine Trivia: Hitchcock’s dad played Hoss Cartwright in ‘Bonanza’.
I am immensely grateful to all the promoters for sending me new music for my radio show. The No. 1 problem is that 80% of it is good but not good enough to play in my show. I get two hours a week and the music has to stand alongside the best black music of the last 60 years. I definitely don’t blame the promotions companies but I do blame the artists, musicians and producers not making enough effort to be creative. With 120,000 tracks being uploaded every day, the market place does not NEED music. What the market place needs are timeless future classics. If DJs are still playing ‘Skip To My Lou (a 40-year-old tune), then today’s tracks must be good enough to still be filling floors in 40 years’ time.
Sunday was a lazy day: I got up at 8.00, The Trouble got up at 11.00, my son got up at midday! Brunch was at 3.00! We all work hard; we deserved a lazy day.
Have a marvellous and momentous Monday. I love you all.

Zelensky Said What About JD Vance While in Pennsylvania?!
As a key swing state and with there being just over six weeks to go until Election Day, Pennsylvania has found itself in the news quite a bit lately. It's likely to stay that way. On Sunday, Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro and his wife, Lori, were there to meet Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky when he landed in Scranton. Zelensky also met with other Pennsylvania Democrats too, like Sen. Bob Casey, Jr. and Rep. Matt Cartwright. Not only that, but Zelensky also made remarks about Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), the running mate for former and potentially future President Donald Trump.
Greg Price shared a photo of Zelensky touring an ammunition factory, as well as a screenshot of part of an interview that the foreign leader did with The New Yorker.
Zelensky and the interviewer were talking about Trump, and comments he's made about the war in Ukraine, but then Vance also came up. "Apart from Trump’s own reluctance to talk about Ukrainian victory, he has chosen J. D. Vance as his Vice-Presidential candidate," the interviewer said, which prompted Zelensky to claim Vance "is too radical." He even cut the interviewer off to continue to take issue with Vance.
Beyond the screenshotted portion, Zelensky also went after to Vance for engaging in what he called "sloganeering."
"For us, these are dangerous signals, coming as they do from a potential Vice-President," Zelensky said as part of his response to another question, "What does it mean for Ukraine that people with such ideas and slogans are rising to power?
This is a chilling sign from a foreign leader. Such comments amounting to meddling in the upcoming election was certainly a common refrain about such a visit and such an interview.
"Foolish and sloppy" is how HuffPost's Yashar Ali
categorized such remarks, who emphasized they were "inappropriate."
Zelensky also arrived here on the taxpayer's dime.
Shapiro had been all too happy to post about Zelensky's visit over social media throughout Monday. Zelensky and Casey were also present when the governor signed an artillery shell, and Cartwright made an appearance as well for such a visit.
Pennsylvania is one of the most hotly contested states, though the Harris campaign could have been all but certain to win it if the Democratic nominee picked Shapiro over the ultimate pick, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. It's no wondering there's been grumbling about such a move.
According to RealClearPolling, Harris only leads Trump by +0.7 in Pennsylvania. Casey meanwhile leads his Republican challenger, Dave McCormick, by +4.9 in this closely watched race. Forecasters only give the vulnerable incumbent a slight advantage of "Lean" or "Tilt Democratic." Cartwright is considered potentially even more vulnerable in his race.
Trump was also in Pennsylvania on Monday, and for all of Zelensky's criticisms about whether Trump would know how to end the war, the Republican nominee remains certain he would be able to. He even offered he "would work out peace... as president-elect," noting calling up Zelensky and Russia's President Putin would be "the first thing I'm gonna do."

Despite U.S. President Joe Biden's threat to veto the Israel Security Assistance Support Act, 16 Democrats in the House of Representatives on Thursday voted alongside 208 Republicans to pass the bill, which will now head to the Senate.
House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense Chair Ken Calvert (R-Calif.) introduced H.R. 8369, which his office claimed "curbs President Biden's misguided efforts to withhold critical security resources appropriated in U.S. law by compelling the delivery of defense weapons to Israel as they fight to protect themselves against radical terrorists."
The House vote was 224-187, with only three GOP members opposing the legislation—Reps. Warren Davidson (Ohio), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), and Thomas Massie (Ky.)—and six Republicans and 13 Democrats not voting.
The Democrats who supported the bill are Reps. Matt Cartwright (Pa.), Angie Craig (Minn.), Henry Cuellar (Texas), Don Davis (N.C.), Lois Frankel (Fla.), Jared Golden (Maine), Josh Gottheimer (N.J.), Greg Landsman (Ohio), Jared Moskowitz (Fla.), Frank Pallone (N.J.), Mary Sattler Peltola (Alaska), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Wash.), David Scott (Ga.), Darren Soto (Fla.), Thomas Suozzi (N.Y.), and Ritchie Torres (N.Y.).
"These are the fringe extremists of the Democratic Party."
"These 16 House Democrats just voted with Republicans to ignore U.S. human rights law and fast-track weapons to Israel," the Institute for Middle East Understanding Policy Project said on social media, listing the lawmakers. "Shameful."

Arriba "You're Never Gonna See Me Cry", firmada por Billy Miller y Andy Schernoff (The Dictators), la otra es "Nobody Knows (But I Do)" de Andy Maltz y Greg Cartwright de R.Sound.

Ben Schwartz, Cathy Weseluck as spike, David Spade as kuzco, Jack black, and nancy cartwright as Bart Simpson
alright, here we go with Petra's analysis of voice headcanon ideas!!!
Starting with Ben Schwartz, voice of many characters, including Dewey Duck from Ducktales 2017, Leonardo from RotTMNT, and Sonic from the Sonic Movie. Both characters of which fit CK to a tee. As well as some of his other roles like Randy Cummingham from Randy Cunningham the 9th Grade Ninja (never seen the show, but based off the clip on this voice compilation/the voice Schwartz uses, it fits with CK) And so onto the poll it shall go.
Okay, moving onto Cathy Weseluck as Spike. I honestly forgot how iconic Spike was in Friendship is Magic, lol. Such big little brother energy. (Honestly do I care if Twilight technically hatched Spike from an egg? No. He's her little brother. Okay.) As for how the voice fits CK...? Yeah I can see this one too a little. Likely falls into that same middle sorta category.
Next up on the chopping block, David Spade. It has been forever since I watched The Emperor's New Groove, I should probably fix that. I think CK definitely has some of Kuzco's ego. 'Least when he's younger. And his wit. Other than that, though... Not quite seeing a whole lot more similarities or the voices fit that well.
Okay, really excited when I saw Jack Black. The absolute legend. Po from Kung Fu Panda, Bowser from the Super Mario Movie, if Undertale had a movie, would probably play Sans freaking Undertale. I'd support that. If there is ever to be an Undertale Movie, I would cast Jack Black. Man definitely has the range and honestly I'm tempted to just say yes right now, but I need to keep integrity so I'm listening to his voice more. ... Okay, after listening, sadly I need to say Jack Black won't fit for CK. An older CK he could for sure work. But little nine year old kid CK I'm focusing on? I love the dude but his register is too deep.
Okay. Finally Nancy Cartwright. I never realized how many characters she voiced on the Simpsons for one, but for now we're focusing on her Bart voice. CK and Bart are definitely similar characters. Annoying younger brothers, pranksters, have a rather chaotic streak I'd say. But how does Bart's voice work with CK? Hmm... After listening for a bit, yeah. I can see it. And with that, I think I do have enough canidates now. Alex Hirsh, Nicky Jones, Greg Cipes, Ben Schwartz, and Nancy Cartwright.
