Why Omega-3 Fish Oil Capsules are Essential for a Healthy Life
Incorporating omega-3 fish oil capsules into your diet can provide numerous health benefits. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients that our bodies cannot produce on their own, making it crucial to obtain them through diet or supplements. Omega-3 fish oil capsules are a convenient and effective way to ensure you get these vital nutrients. They support heart health, brain function, and much more.
Find below five reasons why you should consider adding omega-3 fish oil capsules to your daily routine.
Supports heart health
One of the most well-known benefits of omega-3 fish oil capsules is their positive impact on heart health. Omega-3 fatty acids help reduce triglycerides, lower blood pressure, and decrease the risk of heart disease. They also prevent the formation of blood clots, which can lead to heart attacks and strokes. By taking omega-3 fish oil capsules regularly, you can support your cardiovascular system and reduce the risk of heart-related issues.
Enhances brain function
Omega-3 fatty acids are crucial for brain health. They support cognitive function, improve memory, and can even reduce the risk of mental decline associated with aging. DHA, a type of omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oil, is a major structural component of the brain. Regular intake of omega-3 fish oil capsules can help maintain brain health, enhance mental clarity, and potentially lower the risk of conditions like Alzheimer's disease.
Reduces inflammation
Chronic inflammation is linked to numerous health problems, including arthritis, heart disease, and cancer. Omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce inflammation in the body. This can alleviate symptoms of inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and improve overall health. By incorporating omega-3 fish oil capsules into your diet, you can reduce inflammation and lower the risk of chronic diseases.
Promotes eye health
Omega-3 fatty acids play a vital role in maintaining eye health. DHA is a major structural component of the retina, and a deficiency in omega-3 can lead to vision problems. Studies have shown that omega-3 supplements can reduce the risk of macular degeneration, a leading cause of vision impairment and blindness. Taking omega-3 fish oil capsules can help protect your eyes and maintain good vision as you age.
Improves skin health
Omega-3 fish oil capsules can also benefit your skin. Omega-3 fatty acids help to maintain the skin's lipid barrier, keeping it hydrated and preventing dryness. They can also reduce inflammation, which can alleviate skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Regular intake of omega-3 can improve skin elasticity, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and give your skin a healthy, youthful glow.
Final thoughts
Omega-3 fish oil capsules offer a wide range of health benefits, from supporting heart and brain health to reducing inflammation and promoting eye and skin health. Incorporating these capsules into your daily routine can help you achieve optimal health and prevent various health issues. As with any supplement, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting to ensure it is right for you. Embrace the benefits of omega-3 fish oil capsules and take a proactive step towards a healthier, more vibrant life.

the psycho'vac
I. In a glass case in the dark in an alcove in the dark in a church in Rome, in Sienna, in Florence, bits of saints mummified like the monkey's paw or Daniel Dravot's withered head sat in the dark waiting for the faithful to pass by, tourists to gawk at, for children of archeologists to be terrified by. Outside the Uffitzi one could buy postcards fragments of Bosch's Last Judgement (1504) reaction against sexuality that was creeping back into the faith – every where lusty, fleshy figures were being torn apart, swallowed whole by frog-eggs, tossed into pits of fire and snakes, onto pitchforks and trees of thorn while the saved, the fleshless, desiccated, loosely built creatures closed their eyes and lay upon the ground to pray.
II.
It starts while you sit in an outdoor cafe near the great clock in the ex-Lenin Square, forever at 11:45, while swallows who nest in the ruined eaves dart low, dark sickle-flashes, sweeping, skimming. Your notebook is open, pen cast down. You sip at the tiny cup of bitter coffee-sludge (when you are at a friend's house the old tatik takes the finished cup from your hands and reads the ground-stains, having you press your thumb into the hot residue, always with the curious shapes rimming the inside lip.) There is a smell thunder in the air. It starts when you walk down one of the city's mud streets, the rain coming down for four days nonstop. You stand in a crumbled doorway, a truck rumbles past full of cabbage heading for the market, spraying mud and gravel into the air. The wave-like clouds come down off the nearby mountains, things urgent and low to the ground, overwhelming the ruined factories and caved-in apartments, the one-room emergency boxes families of eight or twelve had been living in for the last seven years. It starts as you walk down the street. Under your boots, laying in unmarked graves, thousands of bodies, crushed and buried, their calls bubbling to the surface. Waiting for someone to hear.
III.
After the first baby in the orphanage you work at dies, then the second and finally a third, you go on a walk. It has been lightly snowing. Behind the city lays the broken rail yard. Even though there is no penicillin at the rail yard and none of the doctors who refuse to come to the orphanage to heal "things" as they call your babies will be there, you walk without a hat in the late afternoon gusts. You climb up through an abandoned cab engine, the iron sticking slightly to your gloves, its wooden passenger carriages trapped under a fallen wall. The train - its olive green and chrome and red 1940s Soviet art deco - slightly covered in wet-powder. At your feet, in the lee of the cab engine, dozens of empty hypodermic needles. Beyond the cab, the twisted rail lines; toppled buildings and other ruins; open pits of crude oil sunk in the ground; a whole roundhouse with the roof caved-in. It looks like a temple. Something holy, but you who never believed in the sacred or the holy, who saw ghosts as simply cultural abstractions. When you reach the roundhouse you find nothing inside but rubble and years and years of snow.
IV.
Humor. An US Embassy worker, an American working for a Foreign Aide organization and a Peace Corps Volunteer run into each on the street. Soon an Armenian friend walks by.
"This morning for breakfast," the Armenian said, "I had Frosted Flakes with milk."
"You had Frosted Flakes?" cried the Embassy worker, "How did you get Frosted Flakes in Armenia?"
"Oh, I bought them at the black market store near my house."
"You had milk?" cried the Foreign Aide worker, "How did you get milk?"
"Oh, I mixed the powdered milk with water."
"You had water?" cried the Peace Corps Volunteer, "How did you get water?"
V.
All winter long you were in isolation
watching it grow. You had given up
on the poetry brought in the 40-pound
box from home. You had not spoken
English in over three months, ever since the first
frost coated your pillow – there was no heat
in your hut, the rains turned to ice.
You wore your jacket and thermals and gloves
to bed and gave up on poetry. Reading
a poet writing about wasted sex no less
in San Francisco was a hateful thing.
Reading a poet, in Berkeley, where they
have everything, speculate on her fat
soul was a hateful, too. Under your floor
boards the dead called out your name, until
vodka, Russian water, kept the their
voices at bay. Intolerable, how clear they
came in. All of them complained,
griped, belly-ached in a language
untranslatable until your perception:
It was a cross between Armenian
and Russian that the old women spoke
down in the market.
VI.
It is sad to see these old people one, two, three generations apart from their children. These haughty, thin old people unable to speak of these things anymore, needing always to speak around them, as if at the dinner table to speak with clarity would make the magic happen all over again. To listen to them submerge their magic, to protect their children. There was a woman, nearly a hundred, who lived in a nearby village. As a baby she had escaped the Young Turks' Genocide in 1915, had witnessed the USSR rise and fall and had lost eighteen children and grandchildren in the earthquake. You visit her, she speaks in the ancient language, the old Armenian words, "God has forsaken the Armenians" – and spends her time looking for her god among the graveyards where 50,000 of her people died in 4 minutes in 1988. You will be leaving soon, returning on a 32-hour flight. Numbers. Something is inside you. Parasite. You will be leaving soon, and she has no more use for the living. Her words drop away, become muddled, confused, a lexicon of secrets, you pass by gravestone after gravestone on the way to the surface, thousands of them, until there is no more room for air.
VII.
Of course, you
take it with you.
It grows hideous
inside you, even
after the Peace Corps'
doctors arrived and demanded
that you are Medically
Evacuated -- the ol' Psycho
Vac -- three days before your
twenty seventh birthday, you
take it with you. You have
grown thin now, fleshless,
desiccated. They do not
even let you say good-bye
to your babies, such is the state
they find you in. On the flight
back to DC you sit next to
a woman, Dutch ex-missionary,
who explains that sometimes,
the young men God has sent
to do his bidding go crazy.
They, who fear for the safety
of their souls above all else,
do not know how to take
care of themselves so far from home.
She knows this, she assures you,
she has seen it happen. As
the stewardess pushes the cart
for the evening's meal by your seat
the thing that rests inside you
gurgles once in agreement
and then is still.
][][
Notes.
This is it, my grand attempt back in 2002 to put words to my nightmare.
The poem starts out in Italy because that is where I learned, for the first time, about the religious fever dream that is Hell, when I accidentally saw the LSD-madness of Hieronymus Bosch's art and it blew my little brain at the implications of such a concept. It didn't seem like much of a stretch to link the mummified bodies of Bosch's righteous in that painting with the babies dying under my care.
The, "the one-room emergency boxes," are called "domiks" and are basically railroad boxcars used to house the vast homeless population suddenly needing protection from the cold. Gyumri was never really rebuilt and 30 years later there are families still living in their rusted-out boxes.

The new Medical Examiner stayed in the basement. When she went out on a scene, she was covered head to foot in tyvek, a floppy hat on her head, an umbrella held over her.
"Cause of death?"
"Impossible to determine at this stage," Doctor Maura Isles said, despite the gaping wound in the torso. Jane sighed and shook her head, shifting the umbrella she held for the doctor, who fixed her in place with a stare.
"I burn very easily," Maura reminded her.
"Yeah, you said," Jane said, rolling her eyes. She held the umbrella still, though, looking down at the other woman. Pale, pale skin, the kind that would burn easily. Dark clothes - although Jane was also in dark clothes the didn't seem to contrast so starkly against her tanned skin. Red, red lips. Maura looked up again, and Jane looked away quickly, swallowing. She saw Maura's nostrils flare, a little smile on those taunting lips.
---
In the morgue, Maura seemed even smaller and paler, the bright lights flooding her out, making her blue veins visible. Jane paced nervously, but Maura didn't seem to mind. She seemed to welcome the company. The blinds were closed, and the evening was rolling in.
Jane paused as Maura drew some blood, watching the way Maura licked her lips as she did so. Maura looked up, startled, then put the vials on the lab tray.
"He's missing half his torso, what is his blood going to tell you?"
"You'd be surprised," Maura said, taking them into the lab. Jane stared down into the ragged hole where internal organs should be. Maura came back, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand before sliding her glove back on.
The autopsy was short, mostly because there were no organs to retrieve or examine. Jane helped Maura slide the body into cold storage, as much forensic evidence as they could retrieve already stored in the lab. Jane followed Maura in, taking off her gown and leaving it in the receptacle. Maura followed suit, removing her gloves too. There was a smudge of blood where Maura had wiped her mouth, and there was a test tube missing.
That wouldn't be suspicious if there hadn't been a spate of drained bodies around the city.
Jane looked away quickly as Maura washed her hands.
"I'm done."
"Do you want to grab some dinner?"
"I had a snack earlier, I'm fine."
"A drink, then?"
Maura eyed Jane with curiousity. Then she nodded.
"Sure. Why not?"
---
Jane had thought of the new ME as a quiet, serious woman, but after a drink or two she relaxed. Her smile came more readily. She had two little teeth that were very cute, a little sharp, a little pointed.
"I live right around the corner," Jane said, when the bar closed down. Maura nodded and followed her. She paused in the doorway, peering in, her nose scrunched as she took in the hockey sticks and trophy case.
"Come in, come in," Jane said impatiently. She staggered over to the kitchen cabinet. "Anything to drink? I have, like, green tea. And coffee."
"Coffee?"
"Powdered." Jane's nose scrunched, and Maura chuckled, closing the door behind her. Her hazel eyes flashed with mischief as she closed in on Jane.
"I think we both know I'm not here for something to drink," Maura said, her voice low and husky. Her hands closed around Jane's hips, gripping them tight as she tilted her head back to look up into Jane's face. "But I am very, very thirsty. Seeing you swagger around with all your long limbs all day. The way you bite your lip when you look at me. The way I can see your abs though your shirt." Maura bit her own lip, her elongated eye teeth catching and pulling at the plush, plump flesh. "Tell me I'm wrong?"
"You're not wrong," Jane rasped, her voice caught in her chest. She couldn't quite close the gap between them, but Maura didn't hesitate, brushing her lips against Jane's with a satisfied exhale that slipped past Jane's open lips and lodged in her chest. She found her own hands grasping Maura, pulling her closer, those teeth retracting when they scraped her lips. Their height difference meant Maura had easy access to Jane's throat, which she pressed her lips to, scraping her teeth lightly against Jane's jugular, making Jane shudder and remember the little spot of red she'd seen on Maura's lips as she came back from the lab, the reddish brown stain Mara had washed from her hand where she'd wiped it. Jane led Maura into the bedroom, but Maura baulked at the door.
Jane had a cross over the bed. Maura hissed, eyeing it with distaste. Her teeth seemed longer now, somehow. Jane quirked an eyebrow at Maura's reaction.
"I'm really only lapsed Catholic," Jane told Maura. "My mother insisted. I think she thought it would keep me from premarital sex. If it bothers you I'll take it down." Jane plucked it from the wall and shoved it in a drawer. She went to touch Maura, but the other woman pulled away with another hiss.
"We should wash our hands, if we're going to continue. We've been out in a bar, and there are places I'd like to touch you without introducing foreign bacteria."
Jane rolled her eyes but complied easily, not even having second thoughts about her first time with a woman. Maura kissed the back of her neck as she washed up, and then washed her own hands, dragging Jane back to the bedroom.
---
Jane woke with Maura's head on her chest. The light was filtering in through Jane's net curtains, and she sighed contentedly. The light struck Maura's bare shoulder, and her skin started to simmer, as though it was a steak on a griddle. Jane covered the shoulder with a sheet, not worried at all.
Maura woke, flinching from the sunlight.
"So. You're a vampire, huh?"
"What gave it away?" Maura asked breezily, not worried about having her cover blown.
"I had to invite you in. The cross scared you. Your skin smokes in sunlight."
"You're remarkably calm."
"You know what Hoyt did to me. This doesn't come close. Besides, only someone like me could have survived him."
"I knew you smelled of something. What are you?"
"Succubus, obviously."
"That explains a lot. You didn't have to seduce me. You could have just asked if I was a vampire. I'd have told you. I trust you, against my better judgement."
"I didn't use any of my seduction on you, and I didn't feed off you. And you didn't bite me. I think that makes our working relationship promising."
"I work in the morgue because I can't feed off live people," Maura mumbled against Jane's collarbone, as though she was ashamed of her inability to harm humans.
"And I work with homicide, but I make sure I feed off the sex criminals that come through the station. Not - not like that. Ugh, no. Not like - not like how we were last night. That was just for - just because. I didn't use anything to make you want me, and I didn't feed off you either. But I'm sure, if you're ever unable to get fresh blood, you could probably use me. If you wanted to."
"That's a very generous offer, but I don't want to hurt you."
Jane closed her arms tighter around Maura, a happy smirk on her face.
"As a detective, I do have to ask if you know anything about these bodies showing up without any blood. Friends of yours?"
"Hardly. My - my biological family. I was adopted, and they raised me vegan, which I appreciate. But it looks like my biological family has found me and is hunting me down." Maura nuzzled in closer to Jane, her tongue flicking for a moment over the pulse in Jane's throat, her lips and teeth pressed against it as Jane pressed against her with a moan. Aware the mood had shifted drastically, Maura moved away reluctantly. "I'm scared, Jane. I don't want to be like them. I like solving murders. I like working alone. I don't like to be around people in case I hurt them. I don't want to hurt anyone."
"You wouldn't," Jane said tenderly, stroking Maura's hair. "We can find them first. I'm a detective. You're a doctor. We can find them, and make sure they leave town, if that's what you want." Jane looked uncertain about wanting to kill or banish Maura's relatives, and Maura kissed her again for her sweetness.
"We?" she asked shyly, aware that there was a bond between them. It wasn't often two supernatural species consummated, but when they did, the imprint was strong and usually bonded them for life. She'd made her choice last night, not quite sure what Jane was but knowing from her scent that she wasn't entirely human. She'd trusted Jane, and it felt like for once she'd made the right choice.
"We," Jane agreed, kissing Maura slowly and tenderly. "Right after I get some proper blackout curtains."
Maura snuggled back into the only true comfort offered her, Jane's body warm and alive against her own cool skin.
"Okay," Maura said shyly, accepting Jane as one of her pack.
---
I do not read or write supernatural stuff in this vein but this was fun.

Please be so kind to yourself. If you’re going to kill anything, kill the parts of you that continuously bring you to this dark, decrepit place. Stop the negative thoughts and the cyclic low vibrational habits in their tracks. Yes it will take practice. Birth yourself anew from the murky dark; the omnipresence of warm unconditional love radiating from every little thing, with a simple flip of perspective - awaits you. It is there with you always, cradling you even in the hellish dark. But it is so much more beautiful and meticulous and fulfilling from a lighter standpoint. You get to choose. At any time, you get to flip the script.
My best advice to you is to break out of your “normal” ways of thinking and doing, out of the routine of same thoughts and actions - which repeat the same outcomes, only appearing slightly different and probably getting progressively worse as the need for purposeful redirection amplifies itself to you. Truly, fake it until you make it - find some positive affirmations on YouTube and/or think of some your own and repeat them in your head and out loud, probably even more especially when you feel like it’s all working against you - I promise you it isn’t. The world wants to bless you and aims to work in your favor. You are currently so blessed and so loved, take more time to appreciate and hold gratitude for all that you have. Forgive yourself for situations that seemingly went awry. Take accountability and forgive yourself. Make amends as best you can, if you can. Do better and appreciate the redirection from the youniverse. Don’t carry regret for what has unfolded - that simply wasn’t for you, or at least, not from that approach - but there were lessons and good memories to harvest from those experiences. Take the good and leave the bad. And if you say you will, then do it. Honor your word and be a man of virtue and truth.
That one thing that makes you feel really unpleasant every time you do it, or that person you spend time with who makes you feel angry or scared or like the world is a painful or mundane place - anything that makes you feel negatively, move away from it. Allow yourself to be in tune with and directed by how you feel, and move in any way necessary until you feel even just a little bit better and lighter. Try out entirely new things that make your heart happy. Spend time with plants and trees and bird songs early in the morning. Breathe deeply and remind yourself you’re living in your own sweet dream, your own perfect life. Connect deeply with your inner self/consciousness. Move with intent.
Listen to something motivational (I suggest Abraham Hicks 😌), or watch some positive and interesting news on YouTube. Develop a new skill and/or spend time creating some art, it doesn’t have to be “good”art. Recognize life is art in daily practice. Spend time in celibacy, pouring your own self love and care into yourself. Consider your inner child who remains within you and honor him. Be his hero, treat yourself well as you are his vessel. Speak what you feel. Therapy would be beneficial for you.
Take a break from recreational drugs, especially the ones you partake in almost every day. Smoke inhalation in all forms is not healthy. Say no to vaping. Change up your diet and eat primarily organic whole foods, getting in primarily protein and more organic fruits and veggies. Make sure your protein powder and greens are organic and lab tested. Add organic sea moss and lions mane drops to your morning coffee. Get some organic rose oil and apply it to your skin before bed, think of those you love, imagine the best possible outcomes for situations that continue to play out in your life 🥰🌹
Please know I am so very excited to see you happy, healed, balanced, and light. Self love radiating through and from you, taking immaculate care of yourself and deeply considering how every small thought and action effects those around you - who are really just other versions of you; and adjusting yourself accordingly, operating from a place of love 🪞🦋💗
Once activated into consistent and balanced healthy ways of being, the vessel expressing primarily divine masculine energy triggers fast physical manifestations. Men have the capacity and ability to very quickly cause widespread physical change to the physical plane - once deeply and intentfully connected with healing feminine energy and her powerful and expansive love. Physical worldly changes will rapidly be set in motion, with a reverberating physical butterfly effect. These worldly changes are achieved faster than a primarily feminine physical vessel, who has more power and control of deep inner authority and change through forms of intuition and telepathy, the ethers of heaven - which ripples outward from her physical masculine expression.
Both masculine and feminine energy are present within each of us, and their unity dances all around us ☯️ 💞But it is here that I deeply recognize and honor men, the primary physical expression of masculinity. For when he honors his feminine intuition, a wholesome way of being while embracing light playfulness, drawing from deep inner reservoirs of pure wisdom and power from his heart - his healed, activated, and purposefully moving masculine energy has the power to completely change the world - just simply by him focusing on and developing his own sector of the youniverse and delighting in his being. Powerful physical manifestation is readily at the cusp of his fast-moving masculinity, deeply intertwined in his honored and highly developed intuitive feminine energy.
It is in the era of healed, balanced, and wholesome activated divine masculinity - united with awakened, pure-hearted, equalized divine femininity that the entire world will see external widespread changes that the feminine has been developing a strong foundation for.
Heaven is at hand 💛🪽

I am not at a place where i have all my things, so summer solstice this year is limited.
I've opted for a some instant peach green tea powder mixed with my orgrain organic protein and 50 superfoods strawberry flavored powder instead of coffee/chocolate or peanut butter protein powder or meal replacement powder. Though I plan on ordering iced coffee from dunkin later. May break out my tarot cards or dowsing rods for some divination. May meditate. I do have some crystals with me. And I have my husband to spend time with and enjoy this energy. I have a wedding to go to saturday, my husbands best friend, my husband is officiating the wedding. Taking it easy today and then. Over the next week or so we will be having very hot temps here in maryland. a few 100s degree days too.

🍰 🍵 🕯
🍰 - If you were baking a cake to describe yourself what ingredients are you using?
Can I do cupcakes instead? :D No? Okay just asking haha
Hmm. I think it’s sweet, but it does have a bit of a bite underneath it. So maybe cocoa powder and coffee as main ingredients. There’s sugar, of course, but not quite enough to mask those tastes. But the bitter tannins make the cake stronger, you know? This is a cake that will do no harm, but take no shit, or at least it tries.
I’d have buttercream icing, because it feels right. But only only the top, not the sides. We don’t need to hide what’s going on inside the cake, let it show. Gold leafing decoration, because I like to be ~fancy~ when I can.
And maybe some raspberries on top. I hated them as a kid for some reason, but as I’ve grown, I realized it’s not their fault. Raspberries can be delight and really good. I just had to give them a chance.
☕️ - Plan a tea party! What will you be serving and who are you choosing as guests?
I think you meant this one? Because there’s no green tea in the ask game
Anyway! Little known fact about me but I LOVE tea parties. There’s a Christmas tea party in my area and I attend it every year. Besides that, I try to organize tea parties when I can, but it’s not always easy.
Because of this fact, I already know what I like to do for tea parties. I usually provide water when guests first arrive, then tea once everyone is there and seated. They can have as much tea as they want throughout the course of the party (I once had a guest drink 22 cups of tea. Considering her cup size, that was an absurd amount of tea. But it’s her choice and I respected it) and I provide a vast variety of flavors. I usually stick with the popular ones: chamomile, peppermint, green, black, chai, and then usually throw some fun ones in. My most recently hosted party had sour cherry, a personal favorite, and peach.
For food, I like to have three to four courses. They’re mostly desserts. I typically start with a scone and some butter and jam. Then there’s these really good tuna and grape sandwiches that I stole the recipe from the annual Christmas tea party. Sometimes I’ll serve soup. But I really like to end of with these absolutely incredible sour fruit tarts. They are SO good, and always a hit with guests.
I could go on way longer with how I’d decorate, but this answer is already long enough lol
As for guest list, I’ll probably invite my friends, people close to me, and the such. If I could have my dream invite list with anyone in history, I’d love to have tea with William Dorsey Swann and Marsha P. Johnson. They seem like they’d be fun to hang out with, just once. I’d probably die from excitement and the fear I’m going to mess up, tho. Maybe Jane Austen too. Just to talk to her.
🕯️- What are your secret dreams and hopes?
I want to have a family one day. I really like kids, and it’d be nice have some of my own and to see them grow up. My sister is going to off to college soon and it’s making me think about what it’s be like to be in my parents position.
Beyond that, I’d like to publish books and then get one or two fan interactions. That just seems like it’d be fun. I don’t want to be famous. I want to be a reclusive author who few know about and it’s like their in a secret book club. One sees me on the street once, and they stop and ask if it’s really me. They happen to have one of my books in their bag, and they beg to get it autographed. And then I say something wise or something and disappear. I want to be a legend but only to a small group of people. I want to be mysterious.

Selecting Your Food Supplements – Quality Matters
Are you tired of scouring the web, looking for the best food supplements or nutritional supplements? The internet is flooded with countless flooded with numerous dietary supplement options. If you are looking for the food supplements for the first time and you are new to this then you are likely to be confused with the options available. Most of us do not know how to select our food supplements and as a result, we make mistakes.
One of the most common approaches when screening hair skin and nails vitamins is to limit oneself to the cost factor. People tend to settle for the lowest priced supplements available online without paying attention to the other crucial aspects. Health supplements promise a wide range of benefits but all the benefits promised could be enjoyed only when the supplements you choose work exactly the way they promise to work. In reality, that is never the case. Not all brands are made equal. So, if you are going to look for the lowest priced supplements then it may not be the best way to select your food supplements.
You should instead make quality your priority when ordering your omega 3 fish oil capsules. Only by sourcing the finest quality food supplements you can be sure of getting the promised results or else you would be wasting whatever money you spend on them. When we take a quality-based approach it is important to find out whether the food supplements you are selecting are made of natural ingredients. Supplements made of non-GMO ingredients and natural ingredients are considered safer as opposed to chemical-based supplements. The nutritional supplements you take must fill the gap in your diet and help your overall health. It must not undermine your health.
Food supplements can be ordered online conveniently. However, you need to first screen your online suppliers. The quality of the supplements you order will depend on the suppliers you choose. Before placing the order, you must check the reputation of the supplier. You must also ensure that the supplements you order are delivered on time. When you pick reputed suppliers, you do not have to worry about such issues. You will get excellent quality supplements delivered on time.
You do not have to be paranoid, there are many reliable suppliers of dietary supplements. It is just a matter of time that you spot them. If you are going to rush through your orders without adequate screening of the suppliers and without checking the customer feedback then it would be your fault. All the information you need are just a few searches away.
Once you establish the credibility of a supplier, you will be able to go back to that supplier for all your subsequent requirements. Therefore, it is worth investing time in the screening process. Screen multiple suppliers before you narrow down on your choices. This will simplify your food supplements sourcing process down the line as you will not be required to screen your supplier for every order.

How are your holidays going? While things may be merry and bright, the holidays can be stressful for many, so I thought we would take a look at self-care tips for the holidays. Plus, I have a glimpse of my holiday decoration, and don’t miss two fantastic holiday recipes sure to bring a smile to your face! Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, and NYE are the Super Bowl celebrations. It takes quite a bit of prepping and planning for a successful outcome. But many of us burn out before the big day arrives. Why? We lose focus on ourselves and what it takes to cross the finish line feeling happy and whole. So let’s plan for a more joyful, less stressful holiday with self-care during the holidays. In the spirit of taking it easy, sit back, relax, and enjoy today’s post. Self-Care Tips for the Holidays Many of us may think self-care is all about bubble baths, massages, and mani and pedi. While I love to indulge in any or all of those events, self-care is much more than that. Just like athletes, we need to focus on healthy foundations like a good night’s sleep, exercise, and eating well. Today, I’m sharing five simple ways to take care of yourselves during the holidays. MINIMIZE SUGAR Sugar is a killer. And it comes in a variety of forms: sucrose, glucose, fructose, corn syrup, and hydrolyzed starch, to name but a few. Many of us rely on quick processed foods for meals and snacks. But processed foods have hidden Sugar, so religiously read the labels. Choose organic produce over processed foods-unsweetened oatmeal over sugary cereal. Swap your sweetened yogurt for plain. These small steps will help wean you off Sugar. If you have a sweet tooth, always reach for natural sugars found in fruit. Shop the Outfit Cable Knit Turtleneck | Velvet Jeans | Leather Jacket | Tartan Plaid Scarf | Similar Suede Loafers Self-Care Tips for the Holidays Develop a plan to enjoy the special foods and treats around the holidays while balancing them with healthy eating. Swap a cookie for a banana or try my next tip. DRINK SMOOTHIES Smoothies are a great way to add fruits and veggies into your diet. And I’m not referring to those milkshake concoctions that taste like dessert and contain sweetened fruit juice. If you reach for fresh ingredients, you can make it sweet with fruit or pack a healthy punch with spinach. Frozen berries and chopped greens are excellent choices. Add protein powder or collagen for an extra dose of healthy. Shop the Outfit Red Tweed Jacket (limited sizes, similar here, here, and here) | White Tee | Boot Cut Jeans | Calf Hair Belt | Calf Hair Shoes (old, similar here, here, and here) | Quilted Handbag | Caviar Bangle | Caviar Watchband BREATHE Sounds simple, right? But this is one of the easiest self-care tips for the holidays. When our bodies and minds are stressed, we forget to breathe correctly. Many of us have smartwatches that remind us to breathe and stand. Why? Every system in our body relies on oxygen. Breathing fuels our bodies with oxygen, helping to clear a foggy mind and strengthening muscles. So remember. Breathe in. Breathe out. At Pilates, they have us breathe in through our nose and then exhale through our mouth. Long, deep breaths work best so count to five on your inhale and exhale. Try it. It’s that simple. Shop the Outfit Velvet Pants | Cashmere Turtleneck | Loafers | Silver Hoops SPEND TIME DOING NOTHING That’s right! Even during the busy holidays, you can give yourself a day of rest and relaxation. My mother coined those days “mental health days.” And she was right. So go ahead and sleep in, read a book, watch a favorite Christmas movie, or head to your local bookstore and enjoy a cup of coffee while you’re flipping through magazines. Whatever trips your trigger, permit yourself to do absolutely nothing. Honestly, there’s nothing better than a day spent recharging my batteries. It’s how I handle a jam-packed schedule and stay focused. This can be a tough self-care tip to employ, but once you grant yourself the grace to focus a little bit of time on yourself, you’ll be able to get back into the holiday hustle and bustle feeling relaxed and refreshed. Shop the Outfit Abstract Floral Cashmere Sweater | Crop Jacket | Velvet Jeans | Patent Leather Loafers | Gold Belt | Puzzle Handbag | Gold Hoop Earrings | Caviar Bangle | Caviar Watchband Shop the Outfits Beth’s Outfit: Fisherman Sweater (old, similar here) | Pink Corduroys | Block Heels (old, similar here and here) | Gold Hoop Earrings Kelly’s Outfit: Straight Leg Corduroy Pants | Cable Knit Sweater | Rothy’s Original Slip-On Sneaker Self-care Tips for the Holidays Now is the time to use my tip from above: Spend some time doing nothing – sit back with a mug of hot tea or your favorite beverage and enjoy a glimpse of my holiday decor! Similar Nutcracker | Similar Fabric-Wrapped Cone Trees | Merry Lumbar Pillow | Plaid Throw Pillows | Faux Berry Wreath | Similar Mercury Glass Mantle Trees | Assorted Metallic Ornaments (as Bowl Filler) | Similar Decorative Bowl | Tartan Lamp Shades | Gold Tabletop Trees | Faux Boxwood Wreath Holiday Recipes Up above, I talked about minimizing sugar, which is a great tip for your body and mind all year long. But when the holidays roll around and sweet treats are part of the festivities, it can be hard to abstain. Well, I am in the camp of permitting yourself to indulge in something you love – this indulgence, in moderation, can also be a form of self-care. It’s about enjoying your life and not denying yourself a little pleasure here and there. Below, find two recipes perfect for the holidays. Freshly Squeezed Grapefruit Juice Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch x 4-inch loaf pan. If you have a sticky pan, grease it, then lay parchment in the bottom, then grease and flour. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, add the sugar. Then grate the grapefruit zest directly into the sugar. Use your hands to massage the zest into the sugar until the sugar is very fragrant and slightly wet from the oil in the zest.Whisk the yogurt, eggs, and vanilla into the sugar and zest. Slowly whisk the dry mixture into the wet mixture. Then use a silicone spatula to fold the grapeseed or other neutral oil into the batter, making sure the oil is fully incorporated.Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. Start checking for doneness at 45-50 minutes. Cake is done when a cake tester placed in the center, comes out clean.Grapefruit SoakMeanwhile, in a small pan, cook the 1/3 cup grapefruit juice and the remaining 1 tablespoon sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside.Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes when it comes out of the oven. Then, while the cake is still warm, drizzle the sugar grapefruit mixture over the cake and let it soak in. Let the cake cool for about 30 minutes.Grapefruit GlazeMeanwhile, whisk together 1 cup of confectioners’ sugar and 2 tablespoons of grapefruit juice for the glaze. After about 30 minutes, carefully invert the cake onto a plate, then invert again onto a wire rack. Set the wire rack over a sheet pan or over a sheet of plastic wrap for easy cleanup. Let the cake cool longer if it feels warm to the touch. When the cake is cool, pour the glaze over the top, letting it drip down the sides. Let the glaze set, then transfer it to a serving plate. 2 Puff Pastry Sheets3-4 tbsp. Nutella2-3 tbsp. Fruit Preserves like Cherry, Raspberry, or Strawberry1 Beaten Egg mixed with 2 teaspoons waterPowdered Sugar for dusting Let store-bought puff pastry squares defrost for 40 minutes to one hour at room temperature.Preheat to oven to 400 degrees. When the pastry is defrosted, but still very cold, we are ready to go.On a lightly floured surface, roll the pastry square just enough to fit a 9-or 10-inch round template. (Use a pie pan or tart pan as the template)Cut the pastry around the template.Repeat with the second piece of puff pastry.Transfer one of the pastry circles – parchment and all – to a large sheet tray.Spread Nutella all the way to the edges of the pastry circle. Then spread preserves over the Nutella, leaving about a 1/2 border around the outer edge.Lay the second circle of pastry on top and score the center with a shot glass or a small cookie cutter. Then, use a sharp knife to make cuts outward from the scored circle in the center. Then, use a sharp knife to make cuts outward from the scored circle in the center. Each half of the pastry should have 6 star points. So start by making center cuts. Then, make quarter cuts. Then make 2 cuts in each quarter – creating three star points per each quarter.Take one star point in each hand and twist the star points toward each other. Repeat with the rest of the star points.Brush the tops and sides of the star with egg wash.Bake the Nutella and Cherry Tear and Share for 18-23 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden and is baked through.Let the pastry cool for about 5 minutes, then use a large spatula or aluminum pizza peel to transfer to a serving plate. Then dust the star with powdered sugar.
