insane that this interaction is being framed as is Bruce is the one who needs to apologize to Alfred when he specifically fired Alfred (adult man) because he (still a grown ass man) hit Bruce (teenage boy in intense emotional distress) in the face

they're really going to make Bruce prove that he deserves Alfred this is insane. go to hell.

man I love when Ed starts hallucinating his more fucked up and evil doppelganger we get TWO bad performances for the price of one

genuinely INSANE how Ed is being taunted for his inability to do riddles now as if that's not a normal human trait

oh many Jim and Harvey's divorce energy is at all all time high

anyway back to Ed, I've remarked on this before but it bears repeating that it's extremely strange to see him and every other character in the show acting like he's quantifiably stupid now for not being able to tell bad and convoluted riddles when he's still exhibiting a.) extremely impressive survival instincts and b.) serving as a genuinely useful political advisor for Lee like. this man is smart as hell and I understand why he's sad about his gimmick being ruined but it's very off that everyone else is going along with it

except for Oswald that also makes sense. Oswald is being a little bitch about it because Oswald would do anything to make Ed feel even infinitesimally worse at any given time and I respect him so much for that

the riddler is suicide baiting himself I hate it here

honestly this is kind of on Jim for leaving noted pervert Harvey Bullock alone when the villain of the week is a sexy mind control woman

Selina ONCE AGAIN picking her best friend's breakdown over her boyfriend's breakdown is really understandable and I love #feminism but she IS 100% wrong about Bruce needing to apologize to Alfred. but she's a teenager girl whose bff is on an eco fash murder spree so I do understand her maybe not dispensing the best advice right now.

g o d the amount that I like Ed is so DIRECTLY proportional to how wet and pathetic he is at any given time I hate myself

the main plotlines of this episode are Bruce and Harvey being forced to make apologies for things that are absolutely NOT their faults and then the c-plot is the Riddler twitching sadly this sucks

WHEN I STARTED THIS SERIES I DID NOT IN A MILLION YEARS EXPECT TO SEE ED NYGMA ATTEMPTING TO HANG HIMSELF JESUS FUCK

there's something so special to me about how this Selina is SUCH a mercurial asshole in this show but also SO dedicated to sticking by her friends and being good even when she doesn't see any point in being nice

whatever whatever whatever the writing on this show is bad but the journey from Ivy tearfully keeping watch over Selina's comatose body willing her back to life to Ivy threatening Selina's life for interfering with her plans is so :,(

Batman being the nightmare of a dying and hallucinating teenage Bruce really works for me honestly
