FUN FACTS:

TreeClan is always the smallest Clan in the valley. They lose half a Clan a year from falling or Twolegs.

Likewise, because space is so limited and there’s only so many owl nests, there’s only one or two queens in the Clan at a time. With Sparrowstrike recently fallen, they’re waiting on a new litter

Flameflight is Cardinalpaw and Hummingbirdpaw’s father- and he’s quite embarrassed about them leaving the trees for a “Fallen Bird”

TreeClan medicine cats tend to have “earthy” names bc they go onto the ground often to meet with other medicine cats and share tongues

Dovestar and Hailfeather are brothers

Most elders are ousted into BurrowClan or beyond but Pinefern is Stubborn Af and refuses to fall

Despite being so small they’re actually the hardest Clan to fight bc they literally just. Fall on you. Wtf do you do with that. 

They also keep rocks in holes to toss if you try to climb so good luck fuckos

As most kits are, Honeykit and Thrushkit started out as thick as thieves. But young Thistlekit started to change that as Thrushkit found herself admiring the she-kit. Thistlekit took notice of the white kit’s infatuation of her, and used it to get what she wanted, often treating Thrushkit similar to a slave. While Honeykit tried to tell Thistlekit to stop ordering her sister around, and for Thrushkit to stop following the other kit’s orders, neither listened to her. Thistlekit suggested to Thrushkit she become a medicine cat so she could learn about herbs, to which Thrushkit eagerly agreed. While Thrushpaw had never been all that interested in the medicine cat position, she found herself surprised to enjoy being a medicine cat far past the joy of having Thistlepaw’s praise.

Thrushpaw helped Thistlepaw sneak out and get out of apprentice duties often, even helping her meet RiverClan deputy Gooseshade. Thrushpaw never raised a paw against Thistlepaw and her growing schemes, instead helping her in every way possible. She felt proud to be Thistlepaw’s trusted and loyal confidant and companion. The two were often known as inseparable, which often made Honeypaw sad and jealous, but Thrushpaw heeded her sister little to no mind. She and Thistlepaw viewed as Honeypaw as not worth their time, far too much of a warrior code stickler, and a dumb follower of StarClan with no eye for the bigger picture.

As they became Thrushleaf and Thistlesong respectively, Thistlesong gave birth to her first litter of kits, their father being Gooseshade- now Goosestar. Unfortunately, due to Thistlesong being so young and inexperienced, all of the kits were still-born except for one, Waterkit, which Thrushleaf fought desperately to save. Thrushleaf helped raised her like she was her own daughter. Then, when the time came to hand Waterkit over to Goosestar so he could raise her to be deputy and eventual leader of RiverClan, Thrushleaf found herself saddened to see the little she-kit go, but she fought of the feelings. She got to see Waterkit a good amount of times anyway by saying she was going to RiverClan to talk to their medicine cat, Hailfrost, when in reality she was relaying messages between Goosestar and Thistlesong. Although, Thrushleaf would bring little gifts and toys for Waterkit to play with, and even snuck away to watch her apprentice and warrior ceremonies. She had even been shocked but thoroughly pleased when Waterkit had expressed interest in being a medicine cat- even though her father quickly stomped those dreams out of her in favor of being a warrior loyal to him.

Thistlesong’s next litter was with Driftleap of WindClan, their kits being Boulderkit, Gravelkit and Ashkit. To raise less suspicion than Waterkit’s disappearance, they planned their birth to be outside of camp, where they lied and said all the kits had died. Secretly, they raised them just outside of SkyClan territory, forcing a rogue she-cat named Autumn to nurse the tom-kits. When they were old enough and knew their mother’s plan, the kits were given to different clans. ThunderClan, WindClan and ShadowClan respectively. Thistlesong ordered Thrushleaf to murder Autumn, who she believed had grown too attached to the kits and could reveal their secret. Thrushleaf was hesitant to do so, as this would be her first murder, but she eventually stuffed deathberries into Autumn’s fresh-kill. Thrushleaf left before she could watch Autumn die, not wanting to watch a cat convulse and die.

Thistlesong’s last litter came, their father being Morningcloud of ShadowClan, as she gave birth to Silverkit and Shadekit, both healthy she-kits that survived without problem. The problems, rather, came with their father, who desperately wanted to join SkyClan and be apart of his daughters’ lives. He begged Honeystar- who had become leader, much to Thrushleaf and Thistlesong’s utmost surprise- to let him into SkyClan, but they politely refused. The reveal that Thistlesong’s kits were half-clan stirred up controversy, and Thistlesong’s previously pristine reputation as the poor queen who had lost her kits had been brought into question. One day, while Morningcloud was looking at his reflection in the water, Thistlesong and Thrushleaf appeared behind him, and the two she-cats drowned him in the water. Thrushleaf, much like her last murder, couldn’t watch as she commited the act, turning her gaze away and pretending not to hear his gargled screams.

As they teach Silverpaw and Shadepaw of their plans, Silverpaw seemed hesitant while Shadepaw seemed extremely eager to follow through. Thistlesong notes with disdain that Honeystar is probably tainting Silverpaw’s, her apprentice, mind with her code-following ways. Still, Silverpaw seems to want to stay close to her sister, practically following her every pawstep, so she listened to her mother’s orders. Thistlesong planned to make Shadepaw leader of SkyClan, making Silverpaw deputy. They began to plot the murder of Honeystar and Coilspring, current deputy. Their plotting all came crashing down as, a day before Silverpaw and Shadepaw’s warrior ceremonies, Thistlesong was murdered and left in the river exactly where Morningcloud had been drowned, a deep slash across her neck. Thrushleaf’s whole world seem to crash around her, all their careful planning ruined and the love of her life dead.

Thistlesong, of course, visited Thrushleaf in her dreams, telling her Silverpaw had murdered her. Thrushleaf was enraged. As Shadepaw and Silverpaw were named Shadefur and Silverthistle, named after her mother under Thrushleaf’s request so Silverthistle would always remember her crimes, the two sisters began fighting, their close relationship that slowly been fracturing finally cracking into pieces. Shadefur, as she didn’t believe in StarClan, couldn’t be visited by Thistlesong and didn’t believe Thrushleaf was really seeing her either, believing she was delusional because her love had died. Shadefur was perhaps even more enraged than Thrushleaf, claiming she’d make her own plans to rule the forest now. She murdered Coilspring, and, completely expecting to be picked as the next deputy, was deeply angered and shocked when Silverthistle was instead. In a rage, she attacked her sister on the spot, and then was exiled from SkyClan. Thrushleaf attempted to contact the newly made rogue a few times, but was scared off when, to her surprise, she found Shadefur talking to fellow rogues, among them Autumn.

Thrushleaf plotted the murder of Silverthistle via deathberries in her fresh-kill, when, unexpectedly, her meek and timid apprentice, Snakepaw, switched out her and Silverthistle’s fresh-kill, making Thrushleaf eat the deathberries planned for her victim. Thrushleaf had never felt more shocked, terrified and pained as she poisoned herself on her own deathberries. In the Dark Forest, Thrushleaf rarely left Thistlesong’s side.��She could not face her mother, Bristlelight, when she attempted to cross into the Dark Forest to express her disappointment and concern for her daughter, nor did she visit StarClan when Waterstar passed despite wanting too.

ThunderClan and SkyClan Allegiances During Smokeface and Thistlesong's Apprenticeships

Poppystar is currently leader of ThunderClan, with her brother, Ravenfur, as deputy. Their sister, Nightshade, is the current medicine cat. They are the kits of Newtfang, one of the elders. Nightshade's apprentice is Sorrelpaw, sister to Shiningpaw, daughter to Sweetcloud and Furzestep. Sweetcloud's father is Rattail, the other elder of ThunderClan, and she is the sister of Sootmask. Sootmask is the father to Smokepaw, who's mother's name was Needlecloud (deceased; in StarClan). Onestream is the father to Robinpaw. Robinpaw is being mentored by Bluetail, who is the father to Spiketail. Spiketail is currently nursing her kits, Amberkit and Archkit, as well as Poppystar and Hazeldust's single surviving daughter, Hollykit. Dappleddusk is the mother to Hazeldust and Tigerstripe. Shiningpaw is being mentored by Tigerstripe while Smokepaw is trained by Ravenfur.

Smokepaw was originally trained as a medicine cat apprentice under Nightshade. Some argument appeared to have taken place, though, and Smokepaw requested to be a warrior's apprentice instead. Sorrelpaw, who had desperately wanted to be a medicine cat apprentice as a kit, volunteered to trade places with Smokepaw. Rattail was formerly the warrior Ratheart and leader Ratstar, but he retired on his last life. He suffers from serious burns, most notably on his tail and face.

Pouncestar, who’s apprentice is Honeypaw, is currently leader of SkyClan, with his mate, Sharpsong, as deputy. Appletail, sister to Bristlelight, is current medicine cat, with Thrushpaw as her apprentice. Bristlelight is the mother to Thrushpaw and Honeypaw. Pouncestar and Sharpsong are the parents of Thistlepaw. Rainwish and Berryleaf have recently retired, as their kits, Plumheart and Coilspring, have been made warriors. Littlestep, Bramblespeck and Fuzzybird have also recently been made warriors. Bramblespeck and Fuzzybird are the offspring of Acornleaf, who is mentor to Thistlepaw, and Auburnheart.

Pouncestar will eventually die, making Sharpstar leader, and Auburnheart will be made deputy. Honeypaw’s training will continue under Fevernose.

Rosestar, sister to Hailfrost (medicine cat) and Oatheart, is currently leader of RiverClan, with Gooseshade as deputy, but she will soon be killed. Driftpaw, Rustpaw, Fleetpaw and Tawnypaw are currently apprentices of WindClan, with Driftpaw being mentored by Nettlemoon, and Fleetpaw by Maplestream.

The Darkest Secret | 4

Blazepaw stared at the white tom. He was missing half of his mouth, one eye, and a part of his leg. She wondered how did he even managed to get those marks. Did he get into a nasty fight? She would never know.         Claws raked her flank and she turned to see a jet black tom snarling at her. Backing away, another tom flew out at her. His yellow pelt blinded her as teeth and claws tore into her fur. Gasping for air, a she-cat pummeled her back to the ground where a pool of her own blood lay, splattering on her and the rogues.         Brightnight came into the fight, hissing and biting as Littleheart followed the white spotted black she-cat. Together, he and Brightnight fought the rogues off the young apprentice.         Blazepaw struggled to get up on her legs. Leaning onto her father, she noticed that the rogues have gone and a body lay motionless on the red spotted grass.         Dew limped towards it, her small leg roaring in pain as she accidentally stepped on it. A wail sounded from her as she looked up from the body. Tam was gone too.         Blazepaw craned her neck to see the body. A gray speckled tom was covered in his own blood. Gooseshade....Blazepaw whimpered at the loss of her friend. Brightnight followed her gave then looked back at Blazepaw.         "Lets get you fixed up." She mewed softly in her ear as Blazepaw let out a small wail. Though she agreed as they reached the medicine den, Owlsong waiting for them. The pain was unbearable , she wished to Starclan that she could just die.

                Blazepaw watched Softpaw and Brokenpaw train for battle. She sighed sadly as it was her turn. She had to go against Ivypaw. She lazily plopped onto the small white tabby she-cat, making Blazepaw and easy target for Ivypaw.

        She clawed her ear and kicked her off using her hind legs. Blazepaw's leg screeched in pain, but she ignored it, going to push Ivypaw off of her and lightly biting her tail to not cause any pain. Ivypaw turned and bit her throat, but Blazepaw faster. She ducked and flung her across the hollow, making Ivypaw cough up sand. Ivypaw slowly got up and nodded.

        Adderstar looked surprised. Even with an injured leg she was able to keep herself from getting hurt. "That was amazing, Blazepaw," he dipped his head to the side. "but what made you decide to be weak first in the fight?" he asks, concerned. He flicked his striped tail to point at the fire-like she-cat.

        "Well, i thought it might be a sign to the enemy of weakness. They might think that you are weak so they will be over-confident and well, go easy on you. But then you get stronger and surprise them, giving the enemy shock. Then you just-" she was cut off by Blackpaw.

        "Yeah, i get it. But what you did was amazing." he purred proudly at his sister. Adderstar stared at Blackpaw but shook his head.

        "This proves i have been teaching you well, Blazepaw." he nodded and looked over at the setting sun.

        Yellowtooth ran over to the five cats. "Blazepaw! Softpaw!" He looked at the two she-cats that were talking about training and techniques to use in fights and hunting.

        "Yes?" Softpaw asked, moving her attention to the spiky black furred tom. He purred lightly and sat down, straightening his posture.

        "I want you two to go on an evening hunting patrol with Thistletooth and Beepelt." Yellowtooth nodded at the two toms waiting for the apprentices. Blazepaw thumped her tail on the ground sadly, but got up with Softpaw, nodding in acknowledgement to the deputy. Yellowtooth smiled fondly at the white she-cat that passed by him. He felt his fur begin to heat up and he shook his head, going to sit with Adderstar and asking how the apprentices are doing.

        "You know, its time to make Brokenpaw and Softpaw warriors, Adderstar." he said blankly, his blue eyes shining in the evening light. Adderstar dipped his head.

        "I do think it is time they are ready"

        "I, Adderstar, leader of Darkclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these two apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and i commend them to you as a warrior in their turn." he looked down at the two cats, who were staring nervously at the leader. "Softpaw, Brokenpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan even at the cost of your life?"

        "I do" they said proudly, Softpaw lifting up her tail and Brokenpaw nodding

        "Then by the powers of Starclan," Adderstar looked up at the sky. "I give you your warrior name. Softpaw- from this moment on you will be known as Softlight. Starclan honors your dedication and we welcome you as a full warrior of Darkclan" he looked at Brokenpaw. "Brokenpaw- from this moment forward, you will be know as Brokenthorn. Starclan honors your bravery and we welcome you as a full warrior of Darkclan."

        "Softlight! Brokenthorn!" The clan chants as Adderstar looks up at the sky as the clouds dispatch, leaving a clear, starry night sky.

        The two new warriors jump down from the tall rock and Softlight runs to Yellowtooth and Brokenthorn slowly makes his way to Blackpaw and his family.

        Blazepaw looked at them and looked at her paws, limping her way to the apprentices den to have a rest. She was happy for them- Really! but she felt something was not right. Her fur fluffed up and she looked around to see if any cat was in here. She could sense it. Out of no where a white cat snatched her and she let out a terrified yowl. He ran with Blazepaw in the forest as cats poured in the den, looking around nervously.

        "What do you want? Who are you?" Blazepaw asked once she was dumped on the mushy grass. Strong muscular cats, and skinny cats like a twig came out to see the commotion.

        "I am Snowscar and i am out for revenge"
