 Ils débutent officiellement avec leur premier album [i][b]Island[/b][/i] puis enchainent avec trois albums : [i][b]Tree[/b][/i][i] (2017)[/i], [b][i]Language[/i][/b] [i](2018)[/i] et [i][b]Empty Hands[/b][/i] [i](2018)[/i] Après le succès de Tree, qui gagne deux prix en tant que [b]meilleur album de 2018[/b] lors des [b]Korean Music Award[/b] et [b]Korean Hip-Hop Awards[/b], leur popularité stagne quelques temps.

En [b]Août 2019[/b], ils se présentent en tant que candidats à l'émission [b]Signhere[/b], mise en place par [b]Jay Park[/b] et la [b]chaîne MBN[/b], pour trouver un.e nouvel.le artiste qui entrera directement chez [b]AOMG[/b] Ils n'en ressortiront pas vainqueur mais cela leur permettra d'avoir une plus grande visibilité et de collaborer avec des artistes d'AOMG pour leur nouvel album qui sortira la même année, au mois de novembre. Cet album marque officiellement leur introduction au label [b]goodtomeetyou[/b] et leur séparation officielle avec leur ancienne agence [b]Stoneship[/b].

[b]Fire[/b] est un projet unique qui permet à Hippy was Gipsy d'étendre encore plus loin leur couleur musicale si singulière. Entre musique alternative et ambiante, la voix se démarque et fait naître les détails du paysage musicale. Pour cette album, un documentaire en trois partie composé d'interview des artistes en collaboration, vient ajouter une compréhension poussé de leur vision musicale et de la manière dont chaque artiste présent vient y ajouter leur propre coup de pinceau. C'est d'ailleurs à partir d'images et de peinture de l'artiste [b]Marvin Kim[/b]

Wayside Town!

Wayside Town [ig] are a Korean underground hip hop (and other genres) crew with about 14 members I think and have existed for some years now. I found them because they’re very close with Ambition Musik. They were the people Leellamarz had been working with since before everything and actually they list Ash, Hash and Hyoeun as members, so... yeah, close^^

So here I will say some background info things about the members and then their pictures (if possible), personal info and social media. It’s a lot so I will insert a keep reading because I don’t want to spam anyone’s dash too much, but if you’re interested in KHH, maybe you do want to… keep reading ^_^

The earliest records I could find of Wayside were from 2017. Panda Gomm, Ash Island and Keem Hyoeun joined in January 2019.

Previous rants on TOIL and Jayci Yucca here, here and here. One of my favorite songs recently is If U Go by Skinny Brown, I just love his voice even though he says rude stuff most of the time =/ xD When Ash Island received his new artist award a few weeks ago, he said he shares it with TOIL and Skinny Brown, so they are holders of that award too :)

There is a girl, yourbeagle, who has already released an album. She participated in HSR 1 and is very active on her YouTube where she does KHH covers. Her music is soft pop, if you like this kind of chill music it might be for you :)

Leellamarz is in Ambition Musik and most people probably know him because of that. He’s a multi-talented rapper, singer, and violinist who studied music at Korea National University of Arts and Manhattan School of Music.

Panda Gomm has produced most songs on Young B’s album Stranger and single The End and released his own album Sleeptalking with many famous vocalists last year. Kooky has co-produced Hash Swan’s Teenage in Closet (with TOIL) and a song by Monsta X, Tropical Night. The others have mostly collaborated with other wysd members!
