When you were done admiring Sana’s space, the two of you ordered food. As you waited for it to arrive, you hung out on Sana’s couch while she introduced you to her favorite kr&b duo, UJB. While you acquainted yourself with the duo’s two idols, Jihyo and Jeongyeon, Sana made mixed drinks for the both of you. 

“Their music is so good,” you said when she sat back down and handed you a glass. “Okay be real– do you have a favorite out of the two?”

When your food finally arrived, you arranged it carefully on Sana’s coffee table while she refreshed drinks for the both of you and grabbed plates and cutlery. The mouthwatering scent of bulgogi, spicy pork, steamed mixed veggies, rice and summer salad filled the room. Sana came back with not only drinks, but two tiny shot glasses and a fresh bottle of soju. 

“What’s all this?” you asked, eyeing the shot glasses as you reached for a napkin and plate.

You had been sitting more toward the corner, facing her with one arm lazily draped over the top of the couch, and now Sana was nearly resting against your arm. You kept your eyes on the screen, swallowing hard. 

Sana reached for the remote, turning down the volume of the movie. “Would you kiss me like that?” 

You blushed. You nodded before your voice finally caught up with you. “Y-yes,” you said meekly, finally daring to look in Sana’s direction. She was already looking at you. 

“Okay,” she said, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. You turned to face her, and as you did, you could practically feel the energy of the room shift. The attraction between the two of you was almost palpable now, and it gave you a much-needed bit of courage.

EDIT: As of November 14th 2023, I've decided to start keeping track of when a post does not include a single-letter element. Single-letter elements are, in order: H B C N O F P S K V Y I W U. These posts will be tagged with "missing single".

I usually don't analyze anything fandom-related, since nothing good can come from a fandom post leaving its circle. There are some exceptions I'll make, though.

I use a script to search for the symbols, but it can't read the words in images, so they have to be retyped into the script 100% manually. I'll most likely still do it, but just keep that in mind when sending in posts with lots of images.

I'll only analyze posts where it's very clear what order things are read in; charts, graphs, doodle pages, and other images with words all over the place won't be counted.

When it comes to URLs, I don't count them for the main tally unless they show up in a screenshot or as a tag somewhere in the thread; instead, the URLs of the users in the thread are listed out afterwards in their own separate tallies, with the elements listed in the order that they appear in the person's URL (this does not include URLs that only appear in screenshots/tags).

If you tag me in a post, I won't be counting anything that you added to the thread, though you will still be part of the secondary URL tally.

When I make a tally, I (usually) won't be adding my own comments, and on the occasions that I do, whatever is in my comment is not added to the final tally.

I tend to stray away from analyzing posts with other similar gimmick blogs already in them these days. This is because we all tend to influence each other's results- for example, if I analyzed a post where alphabetcompletionist tallied up all 26 letters, that would (potentially) artificially add Cd, Mn, and No to my tally. If I did end up doing this, I would be highlighting Cd, Mn, and No in a different color to denote that they would not have been there had I not reblogged from alphabetcompletionist directly.

Omega Radio’s 50 Years Of Hip-Hop. When the ‘Brentwood Era’ started, I had the dial on WBLS, one of New York City’s hip-hop / rap stations. It not only signified the first-ever genre I’d pay close attention to, but also signified the beginning of personal cassette dubbing.

For a few years, I’d record as much as possible off to the right of the dial, then later on Hot 97 and Kiss FM. I’d capture Kid Capri, Kool DJ Red Alert, Funkmaster Flex, and Ed Lover, Dr. Dre, and T-Money of Yo! MTV Raps. Running concurrently was In Living Color, a rap-centric die-laughing comedy show that introduced us to the Wayans Brothers, Homey The Clown, Fire Marshall Bill, The Homeboy Shopping Network, and more. My formative years listening to hip-hop / rap lasted as long from middle school to graduating senior year. There’s no shortage of mostly positive memories in Brentwood, in thanks to all of my cassette dubs from that era.

I returned to hip-hop / rap when I discovered WUSB a few years later and stumbled upon one of their shows, Ghetto Radio, who showed me a more underground side of things. Street FM, Eminent Audio, and The Basement practically changed my life because they introduced me to sampling culture, forever opening up a new world in getting to know more about myself. As soon as I became a Stony Brook student, I inquired about joining the station. Now, I became a dee-jay and gave back to our listeners the same way WUSB gave to me. It wasn’t until my second run at the station (Winter 2013) when I started Omega Radio and took my show more seriously.

For 11 years, we’ve taken every chance we get to play hip-hop / rap. Our shows started when we did a five-hour bonus broadcast to usher in a new year: classic Seventies’ vinyl classics on New Year’s Eve, then three hours of the rough stuff on New Year’s. Since then, we paid it forward by delivering all-time legends (The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac), more golden-era cuts (EPMD, A Tribe Called Quest, Monie Love), the Eighties (Kool Moe D, MC Shan, Eric B & Rakim, classic old-school moments (Whodini, Sugar Hill Records, Afrika Bambaata), and even white-label underground releases (Lo-Down Click, Erule, Brother Arthur). Let’s not forget the ladies of the game, either (Queen Latifah, Monie Love, MC Lyte, and Yo-Yo to name a few).

Later on, we introduced deluxe editions of our shows consisting of golden-era legends still doing their thing (KRS-One, Onyx, Dres of Black Sheep), backpack artists (Jedi Mind Tricks, R.A. The Rugged Man, the Griselda camp), beat tapes (Fuzzoscope, All These Fingers), and newer artists (clipping., Danny Brown, Obnox, Dabrye). We also made some legend specific tributes for Public Enemy, N.W.A. (edited for FCC quality-control), and The Wu-Tang Clan, which happened to be Omega’s most popular show to date. As long as it isn’t Kanye West or TekashiSixNine, we’re good.

The good news? There’s no sign of up stopping. We’ll continuously re-visit our golden-era finds until they’re depleted, and may even consider re-introducing our white-label bonus shows. And we’ll still play our new, current, and relevant hip-hop, rap, and backpacker finds on our deluxe shows.

Omega Radio's 50 Years Of Hip-Hop. When the 'Brentwood Era' started, I had the dial on WBLS, one of New York City's hip-hop / rap stations. It not only signified the first-ever genre I'd pay close attention to, but also signified the beginning of personal cassette dubbing.

For a few years, I'd record as much as possible off to the right of the dial, then later on Hot 97 and Kiss FM. I'd capture Kid Capri, Kool DJ Red Alert, Funkmaster Flex, and Ed Lover, Dr. Dre, and T-Money of Yo! MTV Raps. Running concurrently was In Living Color, a rap-centric die-laughing comedy show that introduced us to the Wayans Brothers, Homey The Clown, Fire Marshall Bill, The Homeboy Shopping Network, and more. My formative years listening to hip-hop / rap lasted as long from middle school to graduating senior year. There's no shortage of mostly positive memories in Brentwood, in thanks to all of my cassette dubs from that era.

I returned to hip-hop / rap when I discovered WUSB a few years later and stumbled upon one of their shows, Ghetto Radio, who showed me a more underground side of things. Street FM, Eminent Audio, and The Basement practically changed my life because they introduced me to sampling culture, forever opening up a new world in getting to know more about myself. As soon as I became a Stony Brook student, I inquired about joining the station. Now, I became a dee-jay and gave back to our listeners the same way WUSB gave to me. It wasn't until my second run at the station (Winter 2013) when I started Omega Radio and took my show more seriously.

For 11 years, we've taken every chance we get to play hip-hop / rap. Our shows started when we did a five-hour bonus broadcast to usher in a new year: classic Seventies' vinyl classics on New Year’s Eve, then three hours of the rough stuff on New Year’s. Since then, we paid it forward by delivering all-time legends (The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac), more golden-era cuts (EPMD, A Tribe Called Quest, Monie Love), the Eighties (Kool Moe D, MC Shan, Eric B & Rakim, classic old-school moments (Whodini, Sugar Hill Records, Afrika Bambaata), and even white-label underground releases (Lo-Down Click, Erule, Brother Arthur). Let's not forget the ladies of the game, either (Queen Latifah, Monie Love, MC Lyte, and Yo-Yo to name a few).

Later on, we introduced deluxe editions of our shows consisting of golden-era legends still doing their thing (KRS-One, Onyx, Dres of Black Sheep), backpack artists (Jedi Mind Tricks, R.A. The Rugged Man, the Griselda camp), beat tapes (Fuzzoscope, All These Fingers), and newer artists (clipping., Danny Brown, Obnox, Dabrye). We also made some legend specific tributes for Public Enemy, N.W.A. (edited for FCC quality-control), and The Wu-Tang Clan, which happened to be Omega’s most popular show to date. As long as it isn't Kanye West or TekashiSixNine, we're good.

The good news? There’s no sign of up stopping. We'll continuously re-visit our golden-era finds until they’re depleted, and may even consider re-introducing our white-label bonus shows. And we’ll still play our new, current, and relevant hip-hop, rap, and backpacker finds on our deluxe shows.

She has an older brother, who is friends with Lee Know of Stray Kids, Minho.

Her best friends are Park Eunyeong and Min Hyeseong, whom she met during high school.

She shares an apartment with them.

She said that Eunyeong is the one who first approached her, noticing her drawing a character that she recognized, and started a conversation from then on. She felt awkward at first, but Eunyeong felt so genuinely nice that she wanted to be her friend. She was then later introduced to Hyeseong and the rest of their friend group, which coincidentally her brother was in. They have been her best friends since.

Being the maknae in that group of friends, she was always teased and doted on by them. She finds it annoying but says that “it’s them so I don’t mind.”

Seoyeon finds it hard and scary to socialize.

Seoyeon is often described as either a kuudere or a tsundere. 

At first, she would seem cold and closed off, especially because she usually has a poker face, but she is more open to the people she’s close with. 

She is sarcastic and really savage; she usually has the last word, but that's how she jokes around. At the same time she is also childish, a playful and cheeky kid. 

She has a soft spot even though she tries to hide it. If someone asks her to do something, she acts annoyed and whines for them to do it themselves, but later she will do it in the end. 

She also gets flustered very easily when praised. She is shy and is very quiet when she's with unfamiliar people, she'll only talk when spoken to. She doesn't like drawing attention to herself.

Seoyeon is a graphic designer.

She can speak Japanese. She finds English hard to learn, though she tries, with the help of Eunyeong.

When Eunyeong graduated, she took a scholarship in Japan and was supposed to live there for half a year. Unfortunately COVID hit, prolonging her stay in Japan. She returned to Korea as soon as possible once she completed her scholarship.

Her favorite colors are black, navy blue, white and maroon. Also likes metallic colors like gold and silver.

Her favorite season is autumn because summer is too hot and sweaty, she gets sick from the cold in winter and spring gives her hay fever.

She has asthma, so in the past, she was admitted to the hospital very often as a child. Because of this she couldn’t experience playing sports as much and is quite physically weak. Her physical state is also because of the fact that she's a premature baby.

Her father tried teaching her taekwondo once, as he used to be a taekwondo instructor when he was younger, but she never made it past white belt.

Seoyeon's hobbies include: drawing, writing, reading, playing video games, reading manga and watching anime, listening to music, mixing and trackmaking, rapping, sleeping, eating. 

Her brother introduced her to anime.

Her favorite anime is One Piece. Her favorite character is Tony Tony Chopper. 

She has all sorts of anime merchandise in her room, mainly One Piece. She even has a collection of Chopper plushies.

Eunyeong has commented that Seoyeon is well-versed in Japanese media.

She knows basic music theory from taking piano lessons before and can play a little bit.

Her favorite genres of music is rap, lo-fi, R&B, hip hop and EDM. She prefers calmer songs she can vibe to in the background, but also songs with a more dark vibe.

She knows how to edit videos and mix audio. She's held commissions for her services before. Currently, she does this for Eunyeong's YouTube channel.

She also knows how to make her own tracks and has uploaded them to her SoundCloud. 

Seoyeon loves to rap and is very good at it. She likes to sing as well but is not nearly as confident in her singing skills compared to her rap. Eunyeong and Hyeseong say that her singing voice is very cute, it's so soft and lovely that she can sing you to sleep.

She has a YouTube channel where she posts some casual covers. She's never promoted it, but it got a spike in popularity after Eunyeong promoted it on her channel, moreso after their WOLFGANG collaboration.

She is also a digital artist and animator. All of the artwork she uses for her YouTube videos are made by her. She also has an art account on Twitter and Instagram.

Seoyeon has a painfully obvious soft spot for cute things. 

She likes horror and dark things. She especially likes it if it’s psychological, because she also has a minor interest in psychology. She has a rather dark sense of humor as well.

Seoyeon is actually very easy to entertain as long as she's interested. She also has a pretty low sense of humor, laughing at even the lamest of jokes and puns.

She likes riddles and puzzles. She also likes escape rooms.

She falls asleep easily. She can fall asleep anywhere if she wanted to, even if it's very noisy. She's a heavy sleeper.

She gets surprisingly passionate whenever she talks about the things she loves, and can talk for hours in contrast to her usually reserved manner.

Because of her height, she’s often mistaken as a child. She said her parents even used it to their advantage by buying entry passes while listing her as a child.

However, her height also made her look small and vulnerable along with her quiet demeanor, making her a frequent bully victim as a child. Her brother would usually protect her, but when he would move to the upper-level schools because of their age gap, she was the most vulnerable. By middle school she learned to stand up for herself and fought back against her bullies. She scared them so much that no one in her year level would dare to mess with her anymore.

Her role models are Yonezu Kenshi, Seoyeon of G-IDLE, 3RACHA and her friends.

Seoyeon has been a huge fan of 3RACHA ever since she discovered them on SoundCloud, being a fan of rap music. She especially loves SPEARB for his powerful voice and machine gun flow.

She became a fan of Stray Kids after finding out that 3RACHA is a part of that group and is the producing team, her bias obviously being Changbin.

Because of how talkative she is about her passions, she talks about them a lot. 

She's learned all of their raps in their songs.

Her favorite songs from them are District 9 and Matryoshka.

Ultramagnetic MC's - Poppa Large

From 1992 Album: "Funk Your Head Up".

The Ultramagnetic MCs is a hip hop group made up of Kool Keith, Ced Gee, TR Love, and Moe Love. Tim Dog became an unofficial member in 1989. In 1990, DJ Jaycee was added as Roadmanager and backup DJ. A former member, Rooney Roon, was fired following an assault arrest. Beat-boxing legend Rahzel was also involved with the group early in its career. The group's work was associated with unorthodox sampling, polysyllabic rhymes, and bizarre lyrical imagery.

The Ultramagnetic MCs formed in 1984. Their first single was 1985's "To Give You Love" on the Diamond International label. The group's worldwide buzz started with "Ego Trippin'," its first 12-inch single on Next Plateau Records in 1986 that was the first hip hop song to feature the infamous "Synthetic Substitution" drum break sample. The song is still considered a hip hop classic. The group's next single was "Traveling At The Speed of Thought (Original)"/"M.C.'s Ultra (Part Two)" followed by "Funky/Mentally Mad," one of the most sought-after 12-inch singles of its career. Funky was based on a Joe Cocker piano sample later used as the basis for Dr. Dre and Tupac's California Love. It was released in 1987. This led to the release of the group's first album

The Ultramagnetic MCs released a new school classic in 1988, Critical Beatdown, introducing many new sampling techniques. Many believe that without the group's primary producer, Ced Gee, the golden era of sampling may have looked very different. Ced, while uncredited, also produced the majority of Boogie Down Productions' seminal Criminal Minded. These albums are among the first to use "chopped" samples, rearranged and edited to change context. Both albums also feature many James Brown samples, which became very prominent in Hip Hop in ensuing years. KRS-One has been quoted as saying that he was very close to joining Ultramagnetic MCs early on. Paul C. was also a major contributor to Critical Beatdown, producing "Give The Drummer Some," and engineering most of the album. Paul C. also produced the Hip-House mix of "Traveling At The Speed Of Thought", which was used as the group's first music video, and was their sole release in 1989. The single's b-side, "A Chorus Line", became one of Ultramagnetic's most popular songs and introduced new group affiliate Tim Dog. A variation of the "A Chorus Line" instrumental was used as the basis of Tim Dog's debut single, the Ced Gee-produced "Fuck Compton", which became a modest hit and is credited with helping to spark the East coast/West coast feud of the mid '90s.

The group then disappeared for several years, breaking up temporarily in 1990. They returned on Mercury Records in 1992, with the album Funk Your Head Up. The album received a muted response, in part because many tracks had been given a commercial sheen, having been remixed by outside producers at the label's insistence. Alternate mixes of this album's songs along with unreleased tracks from the sessions have appeared on later compilations. The song Poppa Large, remixed by Da Beatminerz became a hit and remains a staple of Kool Keith's live show. The song's video featured Keith in a straightjacket, his bald head encased in a birdcage.

1993's The Four Horsemen was considered extremely strange though still brilliant, offering a darker, jazzier sound. It featured guest production and vocals by Godfather Don, who produced solo Kool Keith sessions in 1992 during another brief Ultramagnetic breakup. Some of those tracks appear on The Four Horsemen, and also on The Cenobites LP. The former was the last official album the Ultramagnetic MCs released until their 2007 reunion.

There were many semi-legitimate and compilation albums to follow, the most official of which was Next Plateau's The B-Sides Companion, which featured a new song, some unreleased 1989 songs recorded for a second Next Plateau LP and most of the group's classic singles, albeit in newly remixed form. Ced Gee and Moe Love both provided demos and unreleased songs spanning the group's entire career to Tuff City for a series of four albums which were released without Kool Keith's consent. A live album, Brooklyn To Brixton, was announced but abandoned.

As a reaction to Ced and Moe's involvement in the Tuff City releases, Kool Keith and Tim Dog reunited on the album Big Time, released under the name Ultra in 1997. Kool Keith went on to record many solo CDs, including several under aliases such as Dr. Octagon and Dr. Dooom. His abstract rhymes and syncopated, off-beat delivery influenced many rappers, including Pharoahe Monch from Organized Konfusion.
