hi moss thank you for asking so this is something i first thought of in like 2021 but ive only been working on since last year october i kinda dropped it in like january but ive decided to pick it up again bc why not. it's a college au where sapnap first meets karl at a party and they get blackout drunk (karl is super persuasive ? and wants sap to get out of his shell) and end up in karl's apartment the next morning and sapnap at first thinks they had sex - which is kinda scary bc he's "straight" - but they didn't !! karl's a nice guy :] so they wake up and it's awkward (for sapnap) and sapnap leaves and doesn't think about how pretty karl is and how the thought of having sex with him isn't all that bad etc etc and then they meet again by running into each other on campus and then karl knows dream bc GEORGE (roommate) is friends with dream and they form a little group of friends and the whole time sapnap and karl are getting closer and sap has a sexuality crisis and then he's like "oh man im Not Straight and i have this huge debilitating crush on karl i guess i better avoid him and the rest of my friends and self isolate bc that's obviously the only logical solution" blah blah blah but eventually he and karl work things out. and probably have sex i haven't decided yet YAY
also there's this one snf moment i have outlined where they're like Best Friends and it's awesome they wrestle :) just a huge emphasis on their platonic friendships like obviously it's a karlnap fic and focused on them but there's a lot of small moments between sapnap and george & dream that kind of explore a "weird" friendship or a friendship that's like just them being comfortable with each other and within their platonic relationship, there's a scene where dream and sapnap kiss and it's not romantic at all like theyre firmly just friends but they're also weirdly codependent and affectionate and it just happens but i wanted to kinda show that stuff normally seen as romantic CAN be seen as platonic bc it's all about personal intent and how the people performing the action feel about it like i think that's something a lot of people don't get and i wanted to show it. anyway that's the fic !

THUMBING FOR A SLIP OF GAUZE IN THE POCKETS THAT LINE HIS LONG LEGS, at the moment the dismissive words leave heisenberg's mouth, leon sets to tending and dressing the gash serrating his forearm with the remnants of his medical supplies. ❛ and this is something you're proud of? ❜ leon scoffs, subtly pressing for more information. in much of leon's other experience against bioweapons, lasting damage was a rarity unless you pierced through the skull and destroyed the brain. skin so easily pierced was either undead and rotting, making whatever injury taken pointless, or had an accelerated healing factor that would be notable by now. neither of which he could detect from karl - even if the other man did reek of the dead. so what was the alternative, if karl didn't sew his own wounds shut, and if they didn't repair themselves? the other man is etched with scars, too many to tally, and it put leon considerably more on edge that karl had lived through such horrific injuries without the regenerative mutation factor. underestimation was to be signing his own death warrant.
mention of the parasite draws a sharp pain in leon's chest, a pressure on his lungs, likely psychosomatic, but can he ever be sure? the thought of the plagas gleefully wriggling tendrils around inside his chest cavity is just too much to handle at the moment, leon's bruised knuckles whitening as he squeezes the roll of bandage like a stress ball. leon wears denial with a head held high, violently rejecting that the trespasser to his body and mind was a manageable personal failure, though it lingers, another failure of control in his ledger. his words to karl are sharp as they are cautionary, whether or not they fall on deaf ears, they're spoken anyways, reassurance to himself. ❛ it doesn't work like that. it's a parasite, not a tool. forget your ego the size of manhattan for a moment, because whatever you've got nested up inside you? if it's anything like this, anything stronger? you're an incubator, not a warden. either wake up and smell the goddamn roses, or continue to suit yourself and swallow down whatever fairytale helps you sleep at night, but don't act like this is a matter of control. you're not special - you're sick. ❜
not expecting his harsh response to be reflected back on him in flirtation, leon raises his eyebrows at the offer, rendered mute with a slight red flush rising to his face, suffering from a thorough mix of indignancy and embarrassment, but he recovers, quickly shrugging it off, fixing karl with a firm look of cold and unimpressed professionalism, crossing his arms across his chest. ❛ ... i'll pass, medical treatment isn't really my specialty. besides, whatever you've got, for all i know, it might be viral. ❜ it's a genuine concern, the oily taste of blood coating his mouth penned away already in an internal contamination report that leon knew he would have to fill out by the time this was all said and done with. ( he was betting his money already on some form of tetanus contracted from shrapnel impalement. )
initially prickling, inhaling to protest that if karl should want respect, he ought to do something respectful, disgusted at the premise of deferring to someone with such a twisted moral backbone, supporting only himself. leon finds himself biting his tongue instead, and looking at karl in silence. everything about the other man, the way he carries himself, is made to be intolerable, to draw the most ire, provoke the most argument. leon doubts very seriously it isn't intentional - learned, maybe, but carved and crafted to suit karl's needs, welded into a suit of armor. in the scarce minutes he's been near the other man, leon can speak to few redeemable qualities he's noticed, but it didn't mean that lord heisenberg was devoid of them - just very earnest to prove the assumption that he was.
❛ and what does my respect matter to you, lord heisenberg? you won't be a lord for too much longer, the way things are headed out there. when all of this, ❜ leon gestures to the diagram behind him with a wave of his hand, to the room around them with another motion. ❛ — is reduced to rubble and smoking ash, with no one left to remember what it is that made you a lord, will you still be one? in the corner of a cage, in and out of a haze after sedation, too weak to do anything but lay there as they carve away chunks of you day by day, taking away more of what makes you lord heisenberg.. drawing blood, injecting you with only god knows to see what happens, all with the intention of trying to find out what exactly makes you tick, up until you stop ticking, will you still be a lord then? ❜ leon phrases it all as a genuine question, not a waiver in his curious tone of voice or a twitch in his expression as the subject matter turns less philosophical and more threatening, word by word. another day, another disaster, another dollar, and still nobody cares how the sausage gets made. ❛ the bsaa doesn't tolerate idle threats. only dead or useful ones, and they often aren't useful for very long. it doesn't have to go that direction, but you're certainly not making it easy on yourself. i wouldn't wish being their lab rat on my worst enemy, and i certainly don't wish it on you, but i don't feel like getting myself involved out of just the kindness of my heart on your behalf, becoming a thorn in their side just because i don't like the thought of human experimentation. then again, i guess you're not really human, are you? ❜ dismissive, the same look returns to kennedy's eyes as before, when he initially entered the room, far less personable, the hardened stare of someone looking down the barrel of a familiar gun, rather than meeting eyes with the person holding it. karl, for a moment, is a bioweapon, and nothing more, once again, like leon has flicked an inner switch. ❛ maybe it's better if i just keep my head down and try not to think too much about it. turn a blind eye, you know? it certainly wouldn't be the first time in my career. ❜
karl approaches, and leon doesn't cower at the intrusion to his personal space, doesn't blush at the insufferable flirtation, but leans forward to invade karl's space before the man is fully within his own, and he cracks a patronizing smile as he does it. ❛ i seriously doubt that, but i admire the confidence, i have to say. most aren't so bold. but, unless one of miranda's little side projects involve little blue pills.. do you even still get it up, at your age? ❜ leon tilts his head at karl's grandiose movements, doesn't clap, doesn't flinch, observing the dutiful showman routine like he's seen it a thousand times over, which, he practically has, for all the monologuing he's been put through in his career. karl's performance would be endearing if the topic was of anything else, but as it is? it makes leon's stomach turn.
❛ i wish it were that simple, but it's not. put your selfishness aside for five minutes, and realize the world doesn't start and end here, with you. do you think the bsaa is here just because they have nothing better to do? do you think myself and chris are here just out of pure loyalty to the winters? ❜ while leon feels a stab of guilt and pity for the winters, ethan especially, and it took few words from chris to get him out here after the man, it is not his entire motivation, only the heart of it. ❛ as it stands, that research, those plans, are the blueprints to a whole different brand of devastation that everyone will want to corner the market on, it's a risk that we just can't afford. we've never seen anything like this before, this isn't anything like just another iteration of t-virus, what you're entirely capable of, i can't begin to grasp, but the idea of an army of you, i have some idea of what that's going to look like, and it's not going to be pretty. miranda may not have her sights on world domination, but i doubt she's the only person alive with access to her research, and i seriously doubt that once she's dead, they're going to let her projects, her designs, die with her. they'll all descend like vultures on whatever remains! ❜ karl's maneuver jostles him, and it sends leon instantly startling, gripping the front of the lord's coat tight in both fists as his entire frame goes taut with tension, expecting a fight, but not throwing the first punch.
besides, who says i won’t have company? i hope they packed plenty of aspirin. leon doesn't comment on karl's remark aloud, or the boast he makes of his capabilities, a wince playing across his features as he rises to his feet, but he stands steadily enough to bear his own weight, unwilling to be entirely at karl's mercy while seated before him. ❛ i'll find something, i have to, and if i don't? i can at least get some sleep instead of staying awake at night, worrying about what's fallen into who's hands, and whether i could have prevented it. ❜ as karl refers to him as fragile, leon gestures towards his throat, looking at karl's own, marked with a ring of teethmarks. ❛ are you sure you don't want some bandages, lord heisenberg? ❜

❣️ When Shu was a kid, Beatrix always told him that he’d have to marry a girl his father grants him.
❣️ She probably implemented the toxic belief into him that he’d have to marry a docile girl who always listens to him.
❣️ Since Beatrix always kept reminding him that he would be married one day, he sometimes wondered what that would be like as a child since he was curious.

❣️ Shu’s seen it all throughout the centuries and knows when a girl is interested in him—cliché stuff is just a turn off, and so are suitresses and girls who have obvious interest in him.
❣️ Karl has probably tried to hook him up with different suitresses throughout the centuries, but he’s probably put off marriage so many times that it seems impossible to get him hitched.

ALAS, I have done it, and was it easy? no because I was hoping I could just watch a couple of TikToks and get a feel for how I should write Nolan. Apparently, though, no one is giving Nolan love and the most I could gather is the guy is a giggler.
“No, sit still,” you laughed as you gently tried to put the blue eyeliner on Nolan’s eyes, one hand gently holding his chin as his head laid in your lap.
“I can't,” he responded with a laugh. “It's cold.”
“Well, too bad you shouldn't have lost.”
“Yeah, maybe if you weren’t so trash, you wouldn’t be doing this,” Karl added as he filmed, knowing good and well he only barely beat Nolan.
You just grinned as they bantered briefly focusing on the way Nolan smile quirked up, until he looked back at you to which you quickly went back to finishing the clown makeup for him.
And, the poor guy couldn’t entertain the children at that birthday party to save his life, and since he was the loser the boys just had to make it worse by making sure that the kids jumped him for being bad at being a clown.
“Some of those kids hit hard,” Nolan whispered as you were removing the make up for him so he wouldn’t rub his skin raw.
“Oh no, did the big bad kids hurt you,” you teased and he let out a light laugh.
“Yeah, they did. Look,” he said rolling up his sleeve to show you a bruise that was forming.
“Oh, you poor thing,” you continued to tease looking back at his face, gently scrubbing the red from around his lips. “You need it kissed better.”
“Yeah,” he said, and you didn’t miss the way his eyes glanced to your lips for a brief second and you could feel your stomach knot. This had to be about the hundredth time you two had been in a situation like this and you felt like it was fairly obvious he liked you back by the amount of post you’d seen talking about it and calling you out, but nothing.
He rolled up his sleeve turning his arm toward you and you rolled your eyes, gently grabbing his arm. You leaned in and placed a light kiss to it, and you looked back up to ask him if it was all better but there was this soft look in his eye and it clicked.
He was never going to make the first move. It was gonna have to be you.
“I think you bruised your lips a little too,” you said and his eyebrows furrowed, as your hand gently moved from his arm to his neck, pulling him closer, and the second it clicked he took over.
His hand found its way to your cheek and he closed the gap between the two of you, his lips were soft and gentle and He pinched your cheek lightly causing you to smile some and break away.
“Don’t look better yet to me,” you responded and he let out a light laugh pressing his forehead into your shoulder, he was still cute even in half done clown make up.
“I don’t think there better yet either,” he responded, opting for multiple light pecks across your entire face this time and you couldn’t help but let your eyes flutter closed in enjoyment. That was until you could her some all too familiar wolf whistles and cheers from a particular set of guys who came to check on you.
“See, jokes on you guys,” Nolan yelled. “She is into losers.”
You let out a laugh eyes trained on Nolan as he argued with the guys before he looked back to you, “You are into losers right?”
“When there as pretty as you, yeah.”
“And, she thinks I’m pretty, so take that,” he added and you shook your head some standing up.
“Come get when you’re ready to take the rest of that off.”
You pushed past the boys and when you finally made it past them and out of ear shot you couldn’t help but let out a slight squeal as you freaked out. And, to think you were stuck waiting all that time for nothing.

Author’s Note: I know I'm going to piss some people off with the way I wrote the trial and the gathering of evidence but remember, this is fiction and it's my story. I'm making it easy and convenient. I know this isn't how trials work.

"This unsub is armed and suffering a major psychological break, and she will not hesitate to kill again. She's white and in her twenties. We believe she came to the US a few years ago. She's likely on foot. She could be Eastern European. She may speak little to no English."
"If you manage to apprehend or corner her, do not underestimate this woman. She will try to fight her way out. The Downeys live less than a mile from the Foresters which means she's somewhere in this area."
"Every media outlet is being informed of the clear and present danger to the public," JJ says.
"Thank you," Rossi concludes the meeting just as Penelope calls. He takes this to the conference room so she can be on speakerphone. "Hey, Garcia."
"Okay, I really might have got something. All of these photos, every one of them, were uploaded to a user website called Photobug. It's an app where people can upload photos and videos, email, and webcam chats. Every one of these families extensively used this site for months, even years."
"All these family photos were printed by Photobug?"
"Yes."
"Isn't it protected?"
"Not from the people who run it. It's a great way for military families to keep in touch and a perfect way to target a family without anybody's knowledge."
"They outsource work to people all over the country. So, I took your profile, hacked into their employee database, and came up with this list of potentials. One of which is a match that screams homicidal bitch. Her name's Miranda Dracar. She was an orphan, born in Sarajevo in 1982. She was adopted by a family in Srebrenica. The address is being sent now."
"Let's go," Rossi says.
Rossi, JJ, and Anne find her apartment easily but luck has it, she's not there. However, pictures of Miranda's victims are posted all over her walls.
"All three families are on here," JJ says.
"Look at this." Anne points out a picture of another military man. "Do you think this is her next victim? His name is Sergeant Eric Young."
"JJ, call your contact."
JJ takes out her phone and calls someone she knows will be able to help in figuring out who this man's family is.
"Hi, this is Jennifer Jareau with the FBI. Sir, I'm gonna need access to every piece of data on US Marine Sergeant Young. It may save his family."
Rossi calls Hotch and Emily to let them know of their progress, and Hotch is more concerned the longer they talk to Karl about the murders.
"I don't think this woman has anything to do with Karl," Hotch says once he gets off the phone.
"I encouraged him. Ohh. I flirted with him," Emily cringes. "I made it personal. Getting intimate with a killer is so different."
"It's what we do."
"Yeah, but there's no fixing how I feel right now, is there?"
"No, but it helped the case. You did what you had to do."
"Agent Hotchner," Karl says from the room knowing he can hear him. "Before you go, there's one final thing I'd like to share with you."
"Let's get this over with," Emily sighs.
Both of them walk back into the room and Karl smirks at them.
"You think you found my admirer? A woman?"
"No, we found the killer," Emily corrects.
"With my help, of course."
"Your admirer is exactly like everyone who contacts you--lost."
"My love, your guy is far from lost."
"Okay, we're done here," Hotch declares.
"So is he." Karl holds up a note he's been keeping secret. "Look at what I have done. It's quite brilliant, you know?"
"We will find whoever sent you that."
"No, Agent Hotchner, I rather think he's already found you."
Hotch can't deny the dread he's feeling from his words. Emily and Hotch's phone rings but only the former grabs her phone to check. They found the unsub. She fought hard to escape but was eventually shot by her own gun. Something snaps in Hotch and he starts going through every file Karl has, anything that will help him get the answers he needs.
"Hotch. Hotch!" Emily urges.
"I can't believe you can't see what he's doing," Karl laughs.
"What is going on?"
"He's torturing him."
"Who?"
"It's great to see you squirm, Agent Hotchner."
Hotch looks at Emily with fear in his eyes. "Foyet."
"He knew you'd come," Karl laughs.
This all comes down to Foyet, and Hotch knows if he is going to get his ass, he's gonna need you to come back. After the incident with Big Sue, Ashley has been left alone. Big Sue hasn't gone after anyone since she was kicked out of her own gang for not being tough enough. One of them tried inducing you but you politely declined.
You and Ashley are in the rec room playing a game of chess. She doesn't know how to play but you've been teaching her.
"I used to know how to play well when I was a kid but got out of it as I grew up. My boyfriend retaught me."
You smile at the memories of you two going against each other.
"He sounds sweet."
"He is. He keeps trying to visit me here. It breaks my heart every time I deny him."
"Why do you?"
"He has this beautiful mind that remembers everything he sees and reads. He can't forget. I don't want him to remember me this way. I can't look in his eyes and see this version of myself. Maybe that makes me selfish."
"No, I get it. I'd hate for my parents to see me like this. They've tried visiting but I told them after the first one I don't want them here. They write every day, though."
"That's nice," you smile.
"Y/N!" You look to your right and see a guard coming for you. "Trial time. We have a spare change of clothes in your cell for you."
"Thank you," you say and get up.
"Give 'em hell," Ashley grins.
"Keep your head up, Ash. Remember what we talked about." She nods. "If I am found innocent and I don't return, just know I'm going to do whatever it takes to get you out of here."
"Go, you have court," she smiles with tears in her eyes.
"I promise, Ashley. I'll get you out of here."
After getting changed into more professional clothing, you're escorted to Arlington General District Court. You're nervous since you've seen the evidence they have on you. It's going to be tough to prove your case but you're going to use everything you've got to persuade the judge. You sit next to your lawyer after the judge has sat down. You look at the jury and quickly read each and every one.
Bored. Scared. Excited. Nervous. If you act right and give them the truth, you believe they will side with you. Most juries are unanimous so it could be a long decision process if not everyone is on your side.
"This is the case of the Commonwealth of Virginia v Y/N. Ms. Y/N, how do you plead?" the judge asks.
"Not guilty, Your Honor."
"Present your case."
The prosecutor stands up since he is allowed to go first. He walks in front of the jury and begins his statement.
"Ladies and gentlemen, do not let looks fool you. What you see as a friendly woman is a stone-cold killer." You fight the urge to roll your eyes. "She murdered seven men in cold blood, and here is the evidence to prove it. On every single victim are her prints and her hair. On every single murder weapon are her prints. I have the results back from the lab here. I have a witness statement made by a man named Frank Livingston that explicitly saw her commit the crimes."
"Is your witness here today?" the judge asks.
The prosecutor becomes clammy and clears his throat nervously.
"No, Your Honor."
"Why not?"
"I was unable to locate Frank to be subpoenaed."
"Objection. That's hearsay, Your Honor," Steve interjects. "How can we accept that statement from the person if that person isn't here?"
"I will allow lab results submitted into evidence but not that witness statement. If your witness isn't able to show up, the statement is voided."
"Yes, Your Honor."
He finishes his opening statement about how you're such a bad person before taking a seat at the desk. Steven stands up and does the talking for you, trying to make it clear to the jury that you're innocent.
"Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, I'd like to introduce you to Y/N. She is an FBI profiler for the BAU right here in Virginia. She started in the police force before moving up quickly to where she is now. She's aided hundreds of cases and given justice to those who were seeking it." Your lawyer holds up a file that has pieces of paper sticking out of it. "In here, I have letters from victims and their families thanking her for what she's done for them." You had no idea he did that for you. "The crimes she's accused of just isn't who she is. She helps instead of taking what she vowed to protect. The crimes in question occurred at night, the same nights she was safe in bed with her boyfriend. I have credit card statements that have already been submitted into evidence that show she is nowhere near the crimes when they were occurring." Steve goes on to talk about you in such a high tone, presenting everything he has that is in your favor. "Your Honor, if I may."
"Yes."
Steve walks all the evidence that's in your favor (it's not much) over to the judge who accepts it. Once they get the evidence out of the way, they'll go over the witnesses' statements before getting into their closing arguments. Steve doesn't have much in terms of evidence for you but the prosecuting attorney has plenty to put you away for a very long time.
Before he has a chance to end this part of the trial, the double doors into the courtroom are opened, and you look behind you to see your entire team file in. They all give you encouraging smiles until you see Spencer walk in. You briefly make eye contact with him before turning around to face the judge.
"Your Honor, if I may, I have more evidence to present."
"What is it?"
Steve walks over to Derek who hands him a file of more evidence in your favor. He looks through the file before taking out the ME reports that Derek had rushed. There is a TV in the corner of the room that can be used to show evidence, and he points to it.
"I'd like to request the use of the TV as I have video files to show as evidence."
The judge motions to the bailiff to roll the TV over to Steve so he can use it. You had no idea this was even happening. You knew they were working it but you didn't know they collected all this evidence... whatever it may be. You fight the urge to look back at them. You can feel his eyes on you.
"Your Honor and the jury, may I present to you, a video--CCTV footage of Y/N." He plugs the USB into the TV where the video of you walking into the hotel plays. He then shows the video of you in the gas station. It's grainy but it's clearly you." You get tears when you see the video of you and Spencer walking into the lobby holding hands. You miss that. "I have two of the four autopsies that were released for victims Juan Lopez and John Dimateo. The medical examiner put their deaths on the night that Y/N and her team checked into the hotel. They were dead a week before being found by police. She was on a case a few days prior to them being discovered, and I have the proof submitted by her Unit Chief."
The next video he shows is too dark to make anything out, but it's clear there is a man stabbing another man. You can't see any defining features on the man, but it's clear that the person on the video doesn't have your build. The crime scene photos of Chase Williams are also submitted side by side to show that it's the same alley he got stabbed in.
"Victims four and five, Eric Price and Jeffrey Rideback, as per the medical examiner report, have injuries that are too old to be when they say they died. They were dead long before they were ever found, and according to the ME report, two weeks. Two weeks before they were found, Y/N and her boyfriend Spencer Reid were out of town, and I have credit card statements and videos to prove it. Finally, video footage taken by a neighbor's camera pointed right at Y/N's apartment doors."
He plays the video that shows a man leaving your apartment with your hairbrush and two of the murder weapons in hand. You frown when you see the man's legs. It's a weird thing to think about but you've seen those legs before. You always knew that you knew the person who murdered the seven men because who else would hold a strong enough grudge against you than a person who knows you? Still, you can't put a name to it but if you had to guess, it's Frank Livingston. Why else would he lie about seeing you murder a man?
"This video shows a man leaving her apartment with two of the seven murder weapons and with a hairbrush that is used to leave behind her DNA on the victims. Victims she never knew or never had contact with. Ladies and gentlemen, Your Honor, Y/N is framed for murder and doing time for something she didn't do."
Steven does a good job, you have to admit. They just have a lot to speculate as soon as the day is over, and they come to a decision fairly quickly. That can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. Either they find you so guilty that they didn't want to debate long or they weren't fooled and decided you were innocent. Either way, you're sitting on the edge of your seat when they return.
"We the jury find Y/N on account of murder innocent of all charges."
You don't care what they say afterward. All you care about is that they find you innocent. You're free to go. You don't have to go back to that hellhole of a prison. You hate leaving Ashley behind but you're going to do good by her and get her out of there as soon as you can. You walk over to your team who is cheering for your release, and the first person you run to is Spencer. He pushes aside the last two months of you not wanting to see him and accepts you into his arms, and you cry from how happy you are.
You're finally home.

Would also remind you with every movement you make how hot you are and how lucky he is. Would back shot you everytime you bend over, due the material of your costume your dump truck would be perked up against the fabric. Wouldn't even notice it's Halloween till you asked him to match costumes. Would only agree to match with you if you let him picked the costumes out, which you had to choice but to let him. To your surprise the theme of your fits were hello kitty. Not really hello kitty but you was melody and he was kuromi. The moment he saw the way the costume braced your body he could've sworn he was seeing piece of heaven on earth. When he was complimenting you, he felt like he should've been on his knees instead of standing. You just look so fucking hot. Unsurprisingly, your chair was 'broken' and his face was the only seat available
I don't know why I wrote this, it's not even Halloween. But I wrote it anyways so I'm gonna post it. I haven't posted for awhile because I was sick but I'm better now and posting again! 😁
