Papa IV “The Anointed One”
What does it mean to be anointed? In a biblical/spiritual sense—to choose by or as if by divine election.
Btw, I literally just copy/pasted a lot of this from a few Google searches/Wikipedia pages because I felt this new title was a bit of a clue for us. I’m not a scholar, just a nerd/part-time Occultist.
In most cases, the "anointed one" being described is a regular person who has been specially set apart for God's plan and purposes. However, there are other times when the "Anointed One" being described is God Himself -- largely in connection with Jesus, the Messiah.
Most often, the term "anointed one" is used in the Bible to refer to a person who has received a special calling from God. There are many such individuals in the Scriptures -- most often notable public figures such as kings and prophets.
King David, for example, is often described in the Old Testament as God's "anointed one" (Psalm 28:8). David also used a similar expression, "the Lord's anointed," to describe King Saul on a number of occasions (1 Samuel 24:1-6). King Solomon, David's son, used the same expression to refer to himself in 2 Chronicles 6:42.
In each of these situations, the person described as "anointed" was chosen by God for a special purpose and a heavy responsibility -- one that required a deeper connection with God Himself.
The Anointed Messiah
In a few places, the Bible authors also refer to an "Anointed One" that is different from everyone described above. This Anointed One is God Himself, which modern Bible translations often make clear by capitalizing the letters in the term.
Daniel 9:25-26 “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.
This is a prophecy given to Daniel while the Israelites were captives in Babylon. The prophecy describes a future time when a promised Messiah (the Anointed One) would restore the fortunes of Israel. Of course, with the benefit of hindsight (and the New Testament), we know that promised One to be Jesus, the Messiah.
Papa IV could be a king like King David? Conquered Jerusalem, slayed the giant Goliath and removed the threat of the Philistines to the point they were never a threat to the Israelites ever again. Also commits adultery with Bathsheba. Bathsheba was married to one of his soldiers and David fell for her—so he sent her husband into battle knowing he would die. He did, and Bathsheba became one of his wives and she gave birth to future heir, King Solomon. Could there be an uprising against him and his new followers so he has to fight back against them and the “retired” (re:dead) Papas? In the new promotional image he stands in front of a wall that depicts a notorious Swedish bloodbath that occurs after the coronation of Christian II as the new King of Sweden from the 1500s--afterward Christian became known as ‘Christian the Tyrant’. Could be a coincidence, though. Not everything means something.
King Solomon also anointed by God- Biblically as far as Christian, Hebrew and Islamic texts go he was an important prophet of God. The biblical narrative shows that Solomon served as a peace offering between God and David, due to his adulterous relationship with Bathsheba. In an effort to hide this sin... he sent the woman's husband to battle, in the subsequently realized hope that he would be killed there. After he died, David was finally able to marry his wife. As punishment, the first child, who was conceived during the adulterous relationship, died. Solomon was born after David was forgiven. It is this reason why his name, which means peace, was chosen. (Side note: Copia’s name--does it have anything to do with the word cornucopia meaning a great bounty, flourishing, etc?) Could Copia be a King Solomon type figure for Satan? No doubt Papa Nihil pissed Satan off more than once during his reign.
There’s a ton of folklore surrounding King Solomon involving magic and demons--which is straight up the Ghost alley. Historically there’s not much to go on, but myths abound. In mostly non-biblical circles, Solomon also came to be known as a magician and an exorcist, with numerous amulets and medallion seals.  To me, Papa IV looks like a powerful ritual magician, I can’t explain it. His robes have demon sigils that are directly taken from the magical text The Lesser Key of Solomon, an anonymous grimoire on demonology. It was compiled in the mid-17th century, mostly from materials a couple of centuries older. Ritual magicians today use those sigils for a variety of summoning spells, much like King Solomon would have likely done. Legend states that he used “the seal of Solomon” (a magical ring) to command help from demons and angels to complete the first temple of Jerusalem. The Seal of Solomon, in some legends known as the Ring of Aandaleeb, was a highly sought after symbol of power. In several legends, different groups or individuals attempted to steal it or attain it in some manner.
Could the newly styled Grucifix on Copia’s Mitre be a new magical seal? Looks a lot like the Seal of Babalon to me--Babalon also known as the Scarlet Woman, Great Mother or Mother of Abominations, Whore of Babalon, etc. She is the woman/creature in the Book of Revelations that rides on the back of a great beast and brings forth with her the end times. I love her, btw. From Revelations Chapter 17:3-6;
“...and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.”
Should also point out that Twin Temple who are joining Ghost on tour next year are devotees of Babalon and have a song dedicated to her. I love them, too, obvi.
Anyway, King Solomon did a bunch of shit that God didn’t like (common theme in the Bible FYI). According to 1 Kings 11:30–34 and 1 Kings 11:9–13, it was because of these sins that the Lord punishes Solomon by removing most of the Tribes of Israel from rule by Solomon's house. And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods. But he did not keep what the Lord commanded. Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, "Since this has been your practice and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes that I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you and will give it to your servant. Yet for the sake of David your father I will not do it in your days, but I will tear it out of the hand of your son. However, I will not tear away all the kingdom, but I will give one tribe to your son, for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem that I have chosen.
If Papa IV is like a King Solomon character, we can see the potential for Copia’s head to get a little too big and thus comes a subsequent smiting from Satan or something. He looks the most regal and luxurious of all the Papas and King Solomon was known for his wealth. I think the parallels are very strong here.
And lastly--the Anointed One aka Jesus, son of God. There’s already theories in the Ghost community that Copia is the antichrist and with TF naming Papa IV the “Anointed One” it looks even more like this is a huge possibility. It could mean nothing--but I think it’s interesting the other Papa’s did not have a canonically religious title associated with them except for Copia. Like there’s no ‘Flamboyant One’ in the Bible (sorry Terzo). But like? Come ON. But it could also mean our precious Rat Daddy will be sacrificed as a way to restore order much like Jesus was. Sacrificial lamb, sacrificial RAT. My heart can not take this. I weep.
But also Satan, the Anti Christ, etc act as polar opposites of Christianity. So maybe Papa IV, potential Anti Christ extraordinaire, will be spared the same fate.
Thanks for coming to my Ghost Talk.

⚜️ The coming of a Phoenix ⚜️
Dave O’ David,
The only David I know
to stand up to his ancestral name,
You are the archetype of transformation
Inspiring the unthinkable, an unprecedented growth
The wolf is morphing into the lion’s kingdom
His claws are deadly,
but his good heart is deadlier
Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth
The life of his people, it’s a lifestyle
A guardian of his traditions,
The whitest heart behind a mischievous smile,
A walking contradiction,
The Prince of Persia
The embodiment of charisma.
We roamed many lands together,
Ventured Into the realm of Forever
Where future, present and past like shards of a sword
are forged by the ancient One, the power of one word
adventured into the vacuum space of the unknown,
Floating fearlessly, the forgotten knowledge we saw
the more you grow,
the more you subtly caress hearts
This way of life, I call it art
unlike many, you shall walk the talk
Eyes on aimed at the target
Launching-off in the spirit of a hawk
By lifting others, the more you shall humbly rise,
Soon you will find your place with the One above.
Ever since that dream of Solomon,
And the pursuit of the lost tower of Babylon.
A memento of that undying vision
Before the ringing of the bells of division.
May the climb may be one of strengthening,
divine connection with the everlasting,
may it purify the sins of the prideful predecessors,
a triumph of redemptions, for good reasons.
-
I am writing this as you’re facing a new battle
From Cynthia, the symphonic muse,
To bigger challenges, divine trials and devilish abuse,
Marching forward, I wish you focus and resilience
It just hit me that within you too is a phoenix,
Lights ablaze in the most infernal phases
From the ashes you always rose,
Fully healed and reformed,
Constant change and rebirth,
To face every adversary and foe,
The miles are long distant between us now,
I wish I could aid you defeat the beast
The one that the oppressors upon you have released
Like the forgotten brethrens in the holy lands,
Remember well, justice will be for the ones oppressed,
families gone, innocence butchered, nowhere to rest,
To hell with the wicked, and damnation the damned,
Who broke the covenant, and spilled infant blood,
Blasphemed the Lord's name in vain,
Thieving and conniving, in lies and deceit, without a shame,
Remember too the chosen,
not by the merit of their race,
But the light in their faces,
Of their godly piety, humility and mindfulness,
Of the Source of light and its Majesty,
Honor thy name, brother o' mine,
Because as with every past adversary and fallen giant
By God's will, revive the tale of David taming Goliath
In the pursuit of higher values of the ideal realm,
Eternal glory, the mission is to ascend,
Remember well, till the next reunion, beloved friend.

What are some actually GOOD Sword and Sandal movies?
Tumblr media
One of the bigger genres in Italy who’s popularity came and went in waves from the silent era to the present, Sword and Sandal (or Peplum) films are Italian movies about gladiators, musclemen, Ancient Greece and Rome, and who’s main characters include Hercules, Spartacus, Ursus, Maciste (a homegrown, semi-Marxist Hercules who fights the rich and decadent who is purely a creation of Italian cinema).
Tumblr media
The genre started in 1912, with Cabiria, an ultra-early Italian feature that predated D.W. Griffith, featuring a muscular African slave named Maciste, and due to his muscles and screen presence, Bartolomeo Pagano may have been the first true movie star, making dozens of sequels. The popularity of these movies went into hibernation in Italy until 1959, when it got a huge resurgence when Steve Reeves starred as Hercules, and consequently became the highest paid star in Europe. Hercules (1959) caused literally hundreds of movies to be made, assembly line, in a burst of about 5 years. The genre burned itself out through repetition in only a half decade, only to be replaced by the Italian horror/slasher film and the Spaghetti Western. It was down for good, only to have something of a resurgence of popularity in Italy in the wake of the popularity of John Milius’s Conan the Barbarian in the early 1980s.
Tumblr media
Sword and Sandal seems to be a genre where any given film picked at random could be a Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode. For the most part, Sword and Sandal movies are mostly known for being the training ground of people who showed their skills in other genres, like how Mario Bava became a horror director, or how Sergio Leone, a second unit director on a few, was best known later for Spaghetti Westerns. And there is certainly some truth to the idea that, if you have seen one, you’ve seen them all. But there are certainly some good examples of the genre that are worth seeing.
Goliath and the Dragon (1960)
Don’t be fooled, this is a Hercules movie, but they renamed it because of some begobbled distribution rights issue.
Tumblr media
If you were a Greek mythology kid (and most nerdy kids went through a phase they were into sharks, dinosaurs, Greek mythology, AV/Radio, writing in Dwarf runes under your desk after reading Tolkien for the first time, and lego) you might remember reading about Hercules’s semi-tragic end, poisoned and killed by his own wife and a centaur. It was the most fascinating story, where Hercules’s great strength and courage was defeated by jealous and anxious little people who tore him down. Americans don’t have much of a taste for tragedy, so it’s very seldom been adapted for American audiences.
Tumblr media
Goliath and the Dragon is that story. It literally starts with Hercules finishing his hardest heroic Labor, and retiring. However, his younger brother is jealous of him, and a conspiracy of schemers work to get rid of Hercules by manipulating envy. Along the way, Hercules feels abandoned by the gods and he turns against them in anguish after a lifetime of service. It has a dragon, and quests into the underworld, yes, but it is primarily not an adventure film, which is what makes it interesting.
It also stars Mark Forest, who might be the only one of the bodybuilders to play Hercules to have a legit screen presence. He later left movies to become an opera singer and voice coach.
Eric the Conqueror (1961)
Tumblr media
This is one by Italian horror titan Mario Bava, and because it’s kind of a well known film, it actually has a half-decent transfer, including availability in the original language instead of a shoddy 70s dub - this is utterly, absolutely unheard of in this genre, where the copies of these movies on streaming (even on Amazon Prime!) are sometimes literally off VHS and have “snow lines” and other phenomenally half-assed signs of VHS transfer, like the original FBI WARNING stickers.
The film is about two Viking brothers, one of who is raised by Christians as a knight, the other of whom grows up the son of a pagan Viking warlord. It’s a film about the contrast between Christian and Pagan, and the one thing about it people remember is that it stars a pair of Playboy Playmate twins. Stylish and action-oriented with lots of red blood, it’s like a cool version of Disney’s “The Island at the Top of the World.”
Hercules in the Haunted World (1961)
Tumblr media
Hercules vs. Christopher Lee –need I say more? Christopher Lee is a vampire who took over a kingdom and hypnotized Hercules’s true love, shrouding the land in eerie darkness…and so Hercules has to descend into the underworld. This is a case where the screenshots really tell the story, they get across the eerie, surreal Gothic ambiance of the film. It doesn’t actually feature Castle Greyskull, but it would perfectly fit in with the décor.
Tumblr media
As far as I know, Hercules never actually encountered vampires in Greek folklore, but in Italian cinema, they seem to feel that the supreme challenge for the Son of Zeus is the undead (see also, Kobrak in Goliath and the Sins of Babylon).
Tumblr media
I feel guilty having two Mario Bava movies on here. But of the two, this one feels the more…Mario Bava, in lighting, design, and ambiance, which is really the reason to see it. Essentially, it’s Hercules Goes to Hell, and it’s treated as more of a truly eerie horror movie, with weird lighting. The presence of Christopher Lee makes it feel like a bodybuilder accidentally wandered onto the set of a Hammer Horror film, with crumbling castles and she-vampires in negligees.
Maciste in Hell (1925)
Tumblr media
Speaking of the essential plot of a muscleman going to hell, you wouldn’t think a movie of that kind would be whimsical, charming, imaginative, and creative, but it is. Satan tries to tempt Maciste, a pure in heart muscleman who represents the pure, incorruptible goodness and strength of the working class. Maciste movies, distinct from Hercules films, always had a strong Marxist undertone, with villains who were super-rich and decadent, all the while Maciste resisted their temptations and hung out with the lower classes and sponsored a revolution. The movie is full in intertitles like “the Dragon – Hell’s Aeroplane!” And the quest by female devils to turn Maciste into a demon himself with a kiss. Essentially, it’s a movie where if you’re pure in heart and have biceps of steel, there’s no problem you can’t bench press, grip, or grapple, even Satan.
According to his memoirs, this was the movie that made Fellini want to become a director.
Hercules and the Princess of Troy (1965)
Tumblr media
Made at the absolute dying gasp of the genre, this one is essentially the “Enter the Dragon” of Sword and Sandal movies, in that it was a Hollywood/Italian co-production, much like how “Enter the Dragon” was the first Hollywood/Hong Kong co-production. It wasn’t a movie at all, but a pilot episode for a television show that never went to series…to everyone’s shame, because if it had been made, it would have been a crowd pleaser, if the pilot was anything to go by. I all but guarantee it would be a syndication favorite that would have turned everyone in it into a star, the kind that would be on Nick at Nite forever, or the earliest incarnation of F/X, where it was just a scrappy rerun network with a pre-Survivor Jeff Probst (I still remember the F/X house all the VJ like hosts lived in).
Tumblr media
This one has Hercules (played by Tarzan Gordon Scott) as a sea captain and leader of a Greek ship named the Olympia, who is accompanied by two sidekicks, Ulysses (a young, clever Ulysses as Herc’s sidekick was also a trait of Paul Levine’s Hercules and Hercules Unchained), and Diogenes, Hercules’s smart friend, a medical doctor and proto-scientist who comes off as the project’s most interesting character, a Dr. McCoy like curmudgeon who adventures to stay away from his awful wife, who creates a chemical that burns on water and who uses the Socratic Method to solve a murder mystery. If this had gone to series, I can see him overshadowing the theoretical leading man in a similar way to Jonathan Harris as Dr. Smith overshadowing the Robinsons.
The pilot was great fun. It had mythological creatures like invulnerable horses and a terrifyingly unique sea monster, that was some of the earliest work by the now legendary Carlo Rambaldi (creator of E.T. and the Alien) that is light years ahead of the shag carpet dragons musclemen pretend to wrestle in movies like this. Not to mention a mystery, and Hercules facing intrigue that, as a trustworthy and direct man of action, he is incapable of dealing with (a trait of nearly every single interesting Hercules movie).

The Semites and later Hebrews had a large number of humans recorded into their mythologies and whole lists of generations can be found throughout the Old Testament in the Bible. Some notable figures are as follows:
Aaron: The Hebrew brother of Moses. Aaron became the first priest of Israel.
Abel: Abel was the son of Adam and Eve and brother of Cain. Abel was killed by his brother Cain over jealousy because God approved of Abels offering of lamb but not Cains offering of vegetation, this is said to be because Abel gave his best lamb while Cain gave only the crops he didn’t want for himself.
Abraham: Abraham (depicted top row and central) founded the Hebrew faith after being commanded by God to sacrifice his son Isaac, Abraham proved his willingness to do Gods work and so God sent an angel to hold back the hand of Abraham before he could thrust his knife into his son. God then gave Abraham a set of laws and told him he would found the nation of Israel. The site known as the “dome of the rock” in Jerusalem is the only site sacred to Jews, Christians and Muslims because it is supposedly the site where Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac meaning that it is the common root of all three of these faiths.
Adam: Adam (depicted top left) is the first man created by God according to Genesis, Adam is created from clay called Adamah in the likeness of God, in Kabbalistic tradition this is because Adam is a microcosm reflecting the macrocosmic divine being known as “Adam Kadmon”. In early Hebrew writtings Adams first wife is Lilith but she fled from him because he refused to accept their equality as both were made from the same clay so God made Eve from Adams rib to be more subserviant to his will which worked out untill the serpent in the garden of Eden convinced Eve to eat the fruit of knowledge/death causing their mortality, expulsion from Eden cursed to toil the earth for food and birth the children Cain and Abel. Adam and Eve eating the fruit of knowledge offered by the serpent is likely an ancient Semitic Kundalini mystery where the tree symbolises the Kabbalistic Tree of Life/Death as well as the human spinal cord and nervous system while the fruit represents the third eye that gives knowledge explaining why the Bible states that when they ate the fruit of knowledge their “eyes were opened”.
Aqhat: Aqhat was given a marvellous bow made by the God of smiths, Kothar in Canaanite mythology. The war Goddess Anat coveted this weapon. When Aqhat refused Anats offer of immortality in exchange for the bow she had him killed by a soldier called Yatpan. Aqhats body was then eaten by Samael. As a result darkness descended on the earth and plants and animals began to die. With the help of El, Anat rescued Aqhat from the underworld and restored the bow to its rightful owner whereupon all things returned to normal.
Balaam: Balaam was a prophet and diviner who was said to know when Gods anger was raised, Balaam sought to destroy the Israelites by temptations of the flesh and food offered to false idols which caused God to send a plague upon them.
Bazaleel: The architect of the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant. Bazaleel was a priest or mason also in charge of sacred oils, incense and vestments.
Boaz: Boaz was a wealthy landowner and husband of Ruth. The name Boaz is derived from the left pillar of the temple of Solomon as opposed to the right pillar Jachin, these concepts are important in both Freemasonry and Kabbalah although Boaz as a person is of unknown connection to these concepts.
Cain: Cain is the brother of Abel and as such is often thought to be a son of Adam however some interpret the act of Eve eating the serpents/magicians fruit to be a sexual act and state that Cain is the result of this forbidden union, this is often refered to as the “Serpent Seed” mystery. In any case jealous of God looking favourably on Abels offerings and scoulding Cain for his, Cain commits the sin of murder killing his brother Abel and hiding his body, when God discovers Cains deeds he is punished by being exiled to the land of Nod but begs God for mercy saying the other peoples living in the wilderness will kill him and as such God marks Cain with a sign on his head and a form of immortality that means anyone who kills Cain will inherit a greater curse. Cain takes a wife and sires children. In Hebrew “Cain” is rendered “Qayin” which means “Spear”.
Canaan: The founder and father of the Canaanites who inherited a generational curse from Canaan who had been hexed by Noah for the actions of Canaan’s father Ham, Noah cursed Canaan as a servant of servants to serve his brothers.
Daniel: Daniel was a prophet held captive in Babylon after the Babylonians looted the temple of Jerusalem he was able to divine the meaning of the Babylonian kings dreams and to explain the meaning of miracles he observed.
Deborah: Deborah whose name means “Bee” was an Israelite prophetess who lead a rebellion when the Israelites were captive in Canaan, the Israelites crush the Canaanites in battle as she predicted and the Canaanite king Sisera escapes to the tent of Jael where Deborah lays him to rest giving him milk before driving a tent peg through his temple. This may be a Kabbalistic/Alchemical mystery since Deborahs name means bee, she gives milk inside a tent (often symbolically synonymous with the tree of life) and drives a tent peg (which is a symbol of the Hebrew letter and pathway of Vau) through his temple which may refer to his spiritual makeup rather than his physical skull.
David: David was a shepherd who became famous for his musical talents and later became a favourite of King Saul for his heroic act of slaying the Philistine giant/nephilim Goliath with a slingshot. King Saul and his son become concerned that David plans to steal the throne however when both are killed in battle David becomes King of Israel and Judah, he went of to conquer Jerusalem and seized the Arc of the Covenant, he was however denied the honour of creating the sacred temple because he commited the sin of adultery, his most notable son is his successor King Solomon. The six pointed star symbol known as the “seal of solomon” is also known as the “magen david” or “shield of david”, David is a prominent figure in Judaism and the twelve tribes of Israel are thought to connect to his bloodline, Jesus Christ was also said to be a relative of King David in later history.
Elijah and Elisha: Elijah was the father of Elisha, both sought to end the worship of the Canaanite God Ba’al. Elijah was suddenly taken up into heaven by a chariot of fire which may relate to Merkaba mysticism or an ancient account of alien abduction.
Enoch: Enoch (depicted ascending top right) was the son of Jared, father of Methuselah and grandfather of Noah. In the Biblical accounts of Genesis and the Talmud, Enoch is said to have died before his time where as in Kabbalistic texts he was said to be the first man to transcend physical existence ascending to become the highest angel “Metaton” meaning “voice of God” by forming a cube from his soul later known in sacred geometry and Kabbalistic works as Metatrons Cube or “the lily among the thorns” and the Tree of Gra. Enoch was also the reported author of ancient gospels left out of the Bible called the “Book of Enoch” which goes into greater detail about the fallen angels and Nephilim and what had inspired them to commit the sin of interbreeding with humanity.
Eve: Eve is thought to be the mother of all humanity as backed up scientifically to some extend by the existence of the Mitrochondrial Eve. Eve is possibly where we draw the word “evening” which is interesting since her early forebarer Lilith’s name means “of the night”, unlike Lilith who was made from the same Adamah clay as Adam and thus his equal who fled from him, Adams second wife Eve was made from Adams “Tsela” meaning “Rib”, “Temple Face” or “Side” and thus subservient to Adam. In the Genesis narrative Eve is seduced by the words of the serpent/magician/fallen angel and eats from the fruit of knowledge/death and convinces Adam to do the same which is a sin since she held the words of the serpent above Gods, God curses then serpent to crawl on its belly all its days eating dust and puts animosity between the serpent seed lineage and humanity saying the former will strike at mans heels and the later will crush the snakes heads under their feet. God then exiles Adam and Eve from Eden placing a Cherubim in the form of a two-bladed flaming sword at its entrance. Since Adam and Eve had eaten “Da’at”/“Daath”/“Death” they had added mortality to their spiritual makeup causing the division of their unified being into male and female who realised they were naked upon seeing eachother and constructed aprons out of figs to cover themselves, this meant that having also obtained knowledge they were no longer ignorant or their nakedness and with the implimentation of the Sephira of Hessed and Gevurah into their spiritual makeup they were able to determine between good and evil for themselves and had gained freewill able to work against the whims of God/natural order. As punishment Adam would have to toil the fields to sustain himself and Eve would experience great pain in childbirth, eventually mothering Cain and Abel.
Ezekiel: Ezekiel was a prophet who had Merkaba visions of God on a throne surrounded by light in a great cloud flanked by four-headed Cherubim and Ophanim “wheels within wheels” (both types of angels). In this vision God hands Ezekiel the scroll of Lamentations which Ezekiel eats describing it as sweet like honey. Ezekiel then saw visions of a third temple prophecised to be build in the future on the mountain of Jerusalem which he describes in great detail. Some believe that Ezekiels encounter with the Merkaba of God is actually an alien encounter.
Goliath: Goliath was a Philistine (Palestinian) giant or Nephilim slain by King David via a stone launched from a slingshot.
Hiram Abiff: Hiram Abiff (depicted bottom left) was the architect of Solomons temple and the leader of an early Hebrew group of masons. Hiram Abiff was grand master of this primitive masonic lodge and along with Solomon and one other was said to know one third of the great mystery for which he was attacked one night as he fled the temple by three masonic initiates who sought these secrets threatening him at each exit with a different weapon until the last struck him dead with a club blow to his head, the three assassins then burried Hiram in a shallow grave marked with an acacia sprig. Solomon comands the masons to find Hiram Abiff and they find the grave and his attackers hiding in a cave who are all put to death since Solomon declares the secret to be lost having died with Hiram. This story is central to modern Freemasonry and is enacted by initiates to the Masonic orders who play the role of Hiram Abiff in ritual retelling being struck over the head and the raised back to life with the lionspaw handshake. Some equate Hiram Abiff with one head of the great beast that rises from the pit or ocean in revelations since this particular head is said to be bashed in as though struck with a weapon.
Jacob: Jacob was a prophet who married into the Canaanite tribe and who made a covenant with God he was later known as “Israel”. Jacobs twelve sons became the fathers of the twelve tribes of Israel. Jacob userped his brother Esau by fooling his blind father into bestowing his blessings onto Jacob instead of Esau. Jacob recieved a vision of a ladder upon which many angels ascended and descended this is often taken to be related to the Egyptian ladder of ascension Shu and the later Jewish Kabbalah in which the tree of life is often refered to as “Jacobs Ladder”.
Job: Job was a man who was seen as good in the eyes of God however Satan suggested that Job only loved God because of the great life God had afforded him and so the two made a wager on if Job would still be righteous if his blessings were stripped away, eventually after the deaths of his family, the loss of his health and his land Job turns from God cursing him, God then speaks with Job directly rebuking him for his folly and restores his health, wealth and a new family to repay his loses. In later Kabbalistic texts Moses is brought into heaven where he witnesses the angel of death Samael on route to claim the soul of Job, Samael is so ferocious that Moses prays to God a different angel will be sent to claim his own soul when he dies.
Jonah: Jonah was given a prophecy to deliver the word of God to powerful enemy nations however in fear Jonah fled and was swallowed up by a whale and only released when he agreed to do as he had been commanded. In studies of the tree of death/Qliphoth and its Qlipha the Qlipha of Gamaliel has an outer cortex called “Ogiel” which refers to the trap of those who “flee from God” just as Jonah had.
Joseph: Joseph was a Canaanite and the most beloved son of Jacob who gave him a many coloured robe, Joseph had prophetic dreams that he would become superior to his brothers however his jealous brothers sold him to Egyptian slavers ripping the robe and smearing it in blood they convinced their father that Joseph had been killed by a bull. Joseph was sold to an Egyptian guard of the pharoah whose wife tried to seduce him and then claimed he had raped her when he refused her causing him to be falsely imprisoned. In prison Joseph interpreted the dreams of the pharoahs imprisoned cup barer and baker correctly and years later pharoah had dreams that on the cup barers advice were interpreted by Joseph to mean seven years of abundance followed by seven years of famine and advised the pharoah to stock up on supplies for. Joseph was released from prison and given wife and property and appointed as an advisor of pharoah and master of the food stores, when the famine came the people of Egypt sold their land to Joseph who then implimented a tax on behalf of pharoah. Eventually Josephs brothers came to Egypt seeking food and did not recognise him though he recognised them he accused them of being spies and had them imprisoned for three days but released them when he heard them speak of the wrong they had done to their brother Joseph and so gave them free grain. The brothers returned to Canaan and then back to Egypt for more grain bringing their oldest brother Benjamin with them as Joseph had requested them to do in their last meeting, during their stay Joseph gave the brothers more grain and gold but planted his silver cup in Benjamin’s bag so that he could accuse him of stealing and force him to become his slave to pay off the crime. The other brothers protested that they should take Benjamins place and Joseph wept revealing his deception in that he was infact their brother and explained to them the story of what had happened to him after being sold into slavery in Egypt, he told the brothers to bring their father, other brothers and possessions back to Egypt to live with him and survive the rest of the famine as family together.
Lot: Lot was the nephew of Abraham and traveled with his family to the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, in Sodom the people who practiced sodomy sought to rape Lot and his family however they escaped on advice of angelic messangers who spoke to them telepathically of the coming destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah they were warned not to look back less destruction fell on them which they all obeyed except Lots wife who looking back was turned to a pillar of salt. It was described as raining sulphur in Sodom and Gommorah as Seraphim had opened their wings on the cities destroying them, this account is sometimes considered to be an ancient account of nuclear weaponry as Lots wife is seemingly vapourised and Sodom and Gomorrah are seemingly inexplicably destroyed in a burning rain not disimilar to nuclear fall out, archeologists have also found sites in the deserts of the middle East where these cities might have stood finding that the skeletal remains seem to indicate sudden deaths from their positions along with fragments of fused glass which happens when the sand is exposed to sudden extreme temperatures. Lot is later made drunk and raped in his sleep by his two daughters so that they could bare children. The telepathic angels in human guise are often believed to be aliens and the use of nuclear weapons in the ancient world are seemingly hinted at by other religious texts such as the later Hindu concept of Brahmastra.
Naamah: The sister of Tubal-Cain of some interest to the Serpent Seed mysteries since in Tubal-Cain bares Cain’s name and Naamah is later equated with the demonic succubus Lilith in Hebrew demonology.
Nimrod: The Babylonian king who sought to build the tower of babel to reach God (likely an Alchemical or Kabbalistic ascension mystery surrounding the concept of a ladder of ascension). God cursed Nimrods workers confusing their language so that they could not work together and the building was abandoned.
Noah: The Hebrew version of the Sumerian Atrahasis. Noah was given the commandment by God to build an ark storing his family, seeds and two of each animal in order to spare them from the flood God was going to send to destroy the Nephilim, fallen angels and evil generations of man/serpent seed lineage.
Paqhat: The sister of Aqhat who killed Yatpan in vengeance for her dead brother.
Samson: Samson was the last of the Israelite judges who due to his mythical strength is often equated with the Sumerian Enkidu or Greek Hercules. Samson was so strong that he killed a lion with his bare hands and massacred an entier Philistine army using the jaw-bone of a donkey as a sword. Samsons weakness was that if he cut his hair he would breach his sacred vows and lose his strength this was exploited by his treacherous lover Delilah who cut his hair and gave him up to his Philistine enemies who blinded him and forced him to grind grain as a slave during which time he prayed to God and his hair began to regrow, the Philistines eventually brought him to the temple of Dagon where he pulled down the supporting column killing himself and his Philistine captors.
Sarah: Sarah is a beautiful woman described in the book of Tobit, Sarah tries to marry seven different men who are all slain by the demon Asmodeus on their wedding night because they had evil intentions causing God to allow Asmodeus to strike them down, Tobit prays to God who sends the Angel Raphael to interceed and prevent Asmodeus from attacking and so Sarah marries Tobits son and Tobit who was previously blind regains his sight. This is interesting since Asmodeus is known as the “blind God” however the story also alludes to the way in which demons, as fallen angels, are still without freewill and must therefore act under the will of God and do Gods bidding just as other angels must.
Saul: Saul was the first king of Israel and was succeeded by King David after Saul died in battle having commited suicide by falling on his own sword preventing the Philistines from capturing him. In his earlier life Saul had been anointed King by the prophet Samuel.
Solomon: King Solomon (depicted bottom right) was a son and successor of king David. Solomon was offered any gift he chose from God and chose wisdom knowing all other gifts would follow it, Solomon was said to be a great and powerful magician known to summon and bind demonic and angelic spirits to his will, with the help of Hiram Abiff and demonic forces he built the temple of Solomon in Jerusalem and with the help of local Galla tribesmen and angelic forces built the sister temples in Lalibela in Ethiopia. Solomon was said to conjour demonic spirits and then imprison them in a brass vessel in one myth one of these vessels is discovered and demons were unleashed. The magical formulas associated with Solomon are recorded in the lesser key of Solomon and the great key of Solomon, including the rites involved with the evocation and exorcism of demonic spirits, these rites call for aprons to be worn and along with their close association with the temple of Solomon may bare associations with modern Masonic rituals, during Solomons reign he was said to have had all of the Occult texts in his kingdom collected up and burried under his throne. King Solomon was said to have been married to the queen of Sheba who is sometimes equated with Lilith, the Biblical “Song of Solomon” is also a text known to deal with sacred marriage and Hieros Gamos. It is said that Solomon died during the building of his temple and that God sent the Shamir worm he had been gifted by the demon king Asmodeus to alert the demons to their freedom by tunneling through the staff that was proping up their dead master causing Solomons corpse to fall over and allowing the spirits he had conjoured to escape.
Tubal-Cain: Tubal-Cain was a metallurgist known as the “first artificer of metals” he is an important character in Freemasonry used as the third degree password and symbolised by two balls and a cane making the shape of an “f” between them. In Hebrew mythology Tubal-Cain is taught to work metals into armour and weapons by the angel of death Azrael.
Yatpan: Yatpan was a soldier. The war Goddess Anat collected him from Abelim when he was drunk and carried him to kill Aqhat who had refused to give Anat his marvellous bow. Subsequently Yatpan was himself killed by Paqhat.

Ugh triggered In seminary we played a Kahoot game to study for our final, and I was reminded about the “principle” that only men and women can marry each other. Do you know about any doctrine/patterns that refute this? I want to be able to marry in the temple, but since I’m LGBT, I can’t ever see that happen.
The current doctrine is that a man and a woman may be married and sealed in a temple, their marriage may last into the eternities and is needed for exaltation.
In my opinion, this is doctrine for cisgender straight people, there is an absence of doctrine for LGBTQIA people. I don’t know if this church will seek and receive additional knowledge regarding LGBTQIA people and our place in the gospel, but I have a hard time believing that God created us in our diversity and then fails to provide for us in The Plan.
Even the doctrine about marriage for straight people has changed considerably. Jesus said divorce is only allowed in the case of adultery and if they remarry then the person that married them is also an adulterer. Our modern church does not forbid divorce and lets divorced people get married and sealed. In the early days of this church we encouraged polygamy where a man and multiple women may marry and be sealed (men can still be sealed to multiple women, just not married to more than one at a time). Church leaders used to teach that polygamy was required for exaltation. Even the 1978 announcement of the restoration of priesthood blessings for people of African descent was accompanied by a statement that interracial marriages are still discouraged (thankfully interracial marriages are now seen as fine).
I do have a hopeful story, in 1980 a trans woman (who had surgically transitioned prior to joining the church) was married & sealed in a temple. She had permission from President Kimball and a Seventy performed the ceremony. They knew she was trans and President Kimball said he’d received revelation specifically for her case.
In the Bible are several other hopeful stories.
Adam & Eve - Adam is told it’s bad for a human to be alone. Another human is made from him (I know the story is allegorical, but this would mean they have the same DNA, including XX or XY or XXY chromosomes). It is the humans who introduce the concept of gender, but “heterosexuality” as we think of it was a result of the Fall
Ruth & Naomi - They lived together, they were each other’s most important relationship. They made a formal commitment to each other that sounds rather similar to what is said in modern marriage ceremonies. They raised a child together. Ruth married a man while living with Naomi. This story provides a lot of hints they could be same-sex partners, bisexual, or with the addition of the husband it could be they’re polyamorous. Very intriguing.
David (who killed Goliath) and Jonathan - This is often portrayed as best friends, but the language is more like romantic interests and some of the details hint that they actually married and this union was blessed by God.
Daniel (from the Lion’s Den) - He was a prince who was captured by Babylon and made a eunuch. He developed a relationship with the male guard in charge of the eunuchs and this was blessed by God.
The Roman centurion and his “servant” - The language indicates this was a relationship of a sexual nature and Christ healed the servant and was amazed at the centurion’s faith. I think this is the closest we have to how Jesus feels about same-sex relationships.
Eunuchs - These are men who aren’t able to reproduce. Often they’re made eunuchs on purpose so they can serve in the King’s house (and not impregnate his wives), but there are also eunuchs who are born this way, who become a eunuch due to accident, and also just by their desires but not any physical impairment. At first they were banned from worshiping with Israel, but then Isaiah says they’ll be blessed above others. Jesus later mentions them in saying that they’re an exception to the rule that marriage is between a man and a woman.
I also think a careful reading of the scriptural texts about same-gender sex is mostly that straight people shouldn’t do it and not to do it as part of the worship of false gods.
Not only that, but some things seem to favor same-sex marriage and against a strict gender binary.
There are not that many mentions in the Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants or Pearl of Great Price about these things. Which could be seen as an indication about the relative level of importance God puts on them compared to the sins of the rich and powerful and the need to take care of the poor and marginalized, and about loving our neighbors and God.
I don’t know if our church will change its stance on LGBT topics, especially marriage or transitioning. And if it does, it may well take many decades (or more). You’re not required to wait for the church to catch up to any personal revelation you have.

God’s actions through history gives us hope
God has demonstrated His willingness over and over to restore the effects of sin, and to make things right (at least if His people obeyed Him). The fact that God repeatedly steps into history to bring things back to righteousness, at least to a point, is very encouraging. If He is willing to do this then we have increased confidence that He will finish what He has started. In Philippians 1:6, the Word tells us that He will finish what He has started in us as individuals. So, how much more is He likely to finish His big, global goals, ending up with a perfect place to live called heaven? Satan (the devil, or Lucifer) all through history has been trying to thwart God’s plans to redeem us. By God entering history as a man, becoming sin in our place, taking that sin to the cross, dying in our place, and then rising from the dead on the third day, Satan’s plans are doomed to ultimate failure!
God’s love for the people He created for Himself is evident in His mercy shown to the Old Testament patriarchs, and we see His story continuing as it is woven through the ages. Through His people He demonstrated who He was, and nothing would thwart His plan for the Godly line which would bring us Jesus Christ. He did this in the crucible of Egypt, and when the Israelites had grown to the point of being a viable nation, He created a plan to deliver them from Egypt (Exodus 3-13). It was amazing, involving many miracles which made the Egyptians want Israel to leave. Then when the Egyptian army was in hot pursuit and Israel was stuck (the Red Sea in front and the army behind them), God divided the Red Sea so Israel could walk through on dry ground, but the Egyptian army drowned (Exodus 14).
Later, as Israel entered the Promised Land, by another miracle of stopping up the Jordan River so that Israel could again cross on dry ground (Joshua 3 and 4), God gave the land to Israel. After Joshua died, they abandoned God to serve themselves and pagan gods again, but God delivered Israel over and over again through various judges. Women were not highly valued in many early cultures, but God did amazing things through them. Israel was delivered from the Canaanite army under leadership of Deborah (Judges 4), and the leader of the enemy’s army was killed through another woman, Jael.
Then in Judges 6-8, Israel was delivered from a huge Midianite army (300 Israelites under Gideon routed 135,000 Midianites). There was no way this could happen without God! In 1 Samuel 17, God delivered Israel from the Philistines and their giant leader, Goliath. These kinds of miraculous events have continued throughout Israel’s history - and only after His people repented and turned back to Him. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God said: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
After Israel had been banished to Babylon because of their sin, God still desired good for them, and said in Jeremiah 29:11-14, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity...”
These and many other events like them demonstrate that God is faithful, creative and determined to carry out the plans He promised. Knowing that God is active in history and always has His eyes on us gives us confidence that He will indeed make all things right.
Reflection: How has God’s continuing intervention into human history encouraged you for the future?

A point of significance that Paul makes:
… there is no other God but the One. And even if the majority believes there are many so-called gods in heaven and on earth (certainly many worship such “gods” and “lords”), this is not our view. For us, there is one God, the Father who is the ultimate source of all things and the goal of our lives. And there is one Lord—Jesus the Anointed, the Liberating King; through Him all things were created, and by Him we are redeemed.
Today’s reading of the Scriptures from the New Testament is the 8th chapter of the Letter of First Corinthians:
As to the concern of eating food dedicated to idols: we know that all of us have knowledge, but knowledge can be risky. Knowledge promotes overconfidence and worse arrogance, but charity of the heart (love, that is) looks to build up others. Just because a person presumes to have some bit of knowledge, that person doesn’t necessarily have the right kind of knowledge. But if someone loves God, it is certain that God has already known that one.
So to address your concerns about eating food offered to idols, let me start with what we know. An idol is essentially nothing, as there is no other God but the One.
But this knowledge is not in everyone. Up until now, some have been so familiar with idols and what goes on in the temples that when they eat meat that has been offered first to some idol, their weak consciences are polluted. This is the issue. Again, here’s what we know: what we eat will not bring us closer to God—we gain nothing in feasting and lose nothing by fasting. Now let me warn you: don’t let your newfound liberty cause those who don’t know this to fall face-first. Let’s say a person (someone who knows of Jesus) sees you eating in the temple of an idol; and because the person with a weaker conscience is still unsure of things, he becomes confident, follows your lead, and eats idol food. Now, because of your knowledge on display in your conduct, the weaker brother or sister—for whom the Anointed One died—is destroyed! Ruined! What’s more, by living according to your knowledge, you have sinned against these brothers and sisters and wounded their weak consciences—and because you sinned against them, you have sinned against the Anointed One, the Liberating King.
So if any type of food is an issue that causes my brothers and sisters to fall away from God, then God forbid I should ever eat it again so that I would never be the crack, the rise, or the rock on the road that causes them to stumble.
The Letter of 1st Corinthians, Chapter 8 (The Voice)
Today’s paired chapter of the Testaments is the 43rd chapter of the book (scroll) of Isaiah that points to the sovereignty of God and the forgiveness of sins:
But now, God’s Message,
the God who made you in the first place, Jacob,
the One who got you started, Israel:
“Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you.
I’ve called your name. You’re mine.
When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you.
When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down.
When you’re between a rock and a hard place,
it won’t be a dead end—
Because I am God, your personal God,
The Holy of Israel, your Savior.
I paid a huge price for you:
all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in!
That’s how much you mean to me!
That’s how much I love you!
I’d sell off the whole world to get you back,
trade the creation just for you.
“So don’t be afraid: I’m with you.
I’ll round up all your scattered children,
pull them in from east and west.
I’ll send orders north and south:
‘Send them back.
Return my sons from distant lands,
my daughters from faraway places.
I want them back, every last one who bears my name,
every man, woman, and child
Whom I created for my glory,
yes, personally formed and made each one.’”
* * *
Get the blind and deaf out here and ready—
the blind (though there’s nothing wrong with their eyes)
and the deaf (though there’s nothing wrong with their ears).
Then get the other nations out here and ready.
Let’s see what they have to say about this,
how they account for what’s happened.
Let them present their expert witnesses
and make their case;
let them try to convince us what they say is true.
“But you are my witnesses.” God’s Decree.
“You’re my handpicked servant
So that you’ll come to know and trust me,
understand both that I am and who I am.
Previous to me there was no such thing as a god,
nor will there be after me.
I, yes I, am God.
I’m the only Savior there is.
I spoke, I saved, I told you what existed
long before these upstart gods appeared on the scene.
And you know it, you’re my witnesses,
you’re the evidence.” God’s Decree.
“Yes, I am God.
I’ve always been God
and I always will be God.
No one can take anything from me.
I make; who can unmake it?”
God, your Redeemer,
The Holy of Israel, says:
“Just for you, I will march on Babylon.
I’ll turn the tables on the Babylonians.
Instead of whooping it up,
they’ll be wailing.
I am God, your Holy One,
Creator of Israel, your King.”
This is what God says,
the God who builds a road right through the ocean,
who carves a path through pounding waves,
The God who summons horses and chariots and armies—
they lie down and then can’t get up;
they’re snuffed out like so many candles:
“Forget about what’s happened;
don’t keep going over old history.
Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new.
It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it?
There it is! I’m making a road through the desert,
rivers in the badlands.
Wild animals will say ‘Thank you!’
—the coyotes and the buzzards—
Because I provided water in the desert,
rivers through the sunbaked earth,
Drinking water for the people I chose,
the people I made especially for myself,
a people custom-made to praise me.
“But you didn’t pay a bit of attention to me, Jacob.
You so quickly tired of me, Israel.
You wouldn’t even bring sheep for offerings in worship.
You couldn’t be bothered with sacrifices.
It wasn’t that I asked that much from you.
I didn’t expect expensive presents.
But you didn’t even do the minimum—
so stingy with me, so closefisted.
Yet you haven’t been stingy with your sins.
You’ve been plenty generous with them—and I’m fed up.
“But I, yes I, am the one
who takes care of your sins—that’s what I do.
I don’t keep a list of your sins.
“So, make your case against me. Let’s have this out.
Make your arguments. Prove you’re in the right.
Your original ancestor started the sinning,
and everyone since has joined in.
That’s why I had to disqualify the Temple leaders,
repudiate Jacob and discredit Israel.”
The Book (Scroll) of Isaiah, Chapter 43 (The Message)
A link to my personal reading of the Scriptures for Wednesday, july 21 of 2021 with a paired chapter from each Testament of the Bible along with Today’s Proverbs and Psalms
A post by John Parsons that reflects upon our trust in the midst of the threats of this world:
In light of the threat of an invasion from the east, King Jehoshaphat (המלך יהושפט) of Judah prayed: "O LORD, God of our fathers (יהוה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹתֵינוּ), are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you... O our God, will you not judge them? For we are powerless against this huge army that attacks us; we do not know what to do: but our eyes are upon you (כִּי עָלֶיךָ עֵינֵינוּ)... After he prayed, the Spirit of God spoke forth: "Thus says the LORD to you, 'Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God's'" (2 Chron. 20). Amen, Lord, our eyes are upon you...
This teaches us the great principle of our spiritual warfare: "the battle is not yours but God’s" (לֹא לָכֶם הַמִּלְחָמָה כִּי לֵאלֹהִים). So be encouraged in the midst of your struggle. Listen for that song singing: "Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed... for the LORD will be with you." (2 Chron. 20:15). Recall what King David said to the giant Goliath: "The LORD saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hand" (1 Sam. 17:47). Therefore may God help us as we look to the Lord and remain steady in our times of testing, friend! [Hebrew for Christians]

Today’s message (Days of Praise) from the Institute for Creation Research
July 21, 2021
Our Natural and Spiritual Bodies
“It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.” (1 Corinthians 15:43-44)
In this portion of this great chapter on the resurrection—first that of Christ, then the future resurrection of the redeemed—death and resurrection are compared to seed-sowing and harvest. When a seed is planted in the ground, it is as though it had died and is buried. For a long time after its “death,” the seed cannot be seen, but finally it rises again as a beautiful flowering plant, or sheaf of grain, or even a lovely tree.
Jesus made this same analogy. “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit” (John 12:24; note also Mark 4:26-29). Our human bodies, because of sin and the Curse, eventually die and are buried; but one day (like the planted seed) they will appear again, but now immortal and glorified, far greater than they were before—that is, of course, if their real inhabitants (their eternal created spirits) have been born again through faith in their already-resurrected Savior.
Our new spiritual bodies rising from the grave will be real physical bodies (like that of Jesus after He was raised) but will no longer be under bondage to gravitational and electromagnetic forces as at present, but only to spiritual forces of which we have as yet very little knowledge.
We do know, however, that our spiritual bodies will be “fashioned like unto his glorious body” (Philippians 3:21). Although “it doth not yet appear what we shall be....when he shall appear, we shall be like him” (1 John 3:2). Then in our glorious, powerful, spiritual bodies, we as “his servants shall serve him” in love and joy forever (Revelation 22:3). HMM
