33-years-old Bangladeshi CEO brutally murdered in his US flat
Kuala Lumpur, 22 July 2020: The latest spine-chilling murder story to emerge from Bangladesh, one of the poorest countries in South Asia, happens to be Fahim Saleh, a young CEO of Bangladeshi origin, who was the pioneer of the well-known transport company Pathao.
Saleh’s dead body was chopped into pieces when it was found in his Manhattan flat last week. The media reports noted that an electric saw was “still unplugged” when people reached the murder spot.
The NYPD has arrested his personal assistant, Tyrese Devon Haspil, in relation to the murder.
Merely 33-years-old, he was the most successful entrepreneur to come out of the country at the time of his death.
His transport company, Pathao, was known as one of the first of its kind, modeled after Uber. The Manhattan flat where the body was found itself is estimated at worth $2.5 million.
Haspil has pleaded “not guilty” in the murder case.
