I wonder if #Toho will bring back #Zilla / #ジラ?
They brought him back in #GODZILLAMonsterApocalypse / #GODZILLA怪獣黙示録 and used his fertility & numbers as a threat.
I would like Patrick Tatopoulos unique monster to come back in the #Godzilla / #ゴジラ Universe with new abilities & design features.
Description of Zilla from the #GodzillaAnime Trilogy Timeline book; #ゴジラ怪獣黙示録. "If you leave one young one alive, no, if you leave just an egg behind, it'll hatch and reproduce all over again" and, "the big ones are dangerous, but the young ones were more troublesome. They're intelligent and act in herds. The young ones act as decoys for the tanks while the adults attack from the rooftops."

Gigan design for a Godzilla au im working on !!
Ramblings about him below cut
OK SO Gigan in this au is a member of a species of Giant bird things called Quetgarons that hunt the M space hunter nebula aliens (but in my au they’re just called the Star Bugs).
The climate Gigan’s specific subspecies lived was a more desert-y climate full of sand. So they were very good at digging since the Star Bugs usually dig their cities underground. Their long beaks and tongues also help to snatch up whatever they can get. Quetgarons are far from picky eaters, they perfer organic food, but they’ll eat whatever they can swallow, and recently have even been seen eating metal. They need whatever nutrition they can to keep their massive (generally 60m+ tall) bodies going. And the appendage on their tail is meant to look like their beaks and is used both to fool prey and to grab things.
With the help of a certain other group of Aliens, the Star Bugs created Gigan by capturing a nearly dead Quetgaron and bringing it back to life using certain modifications. A lot of modifications were added to him, like his entire skeleton being reinforced with metal and other materials due to the gravity on earth being greater than their own planet (and also made him a bit taller for shits and giggles). All parts of him that originally had structures made of cartilage (or the similar material they use) are now also coated in metal to make them resistant to Earth’s weapons since originally, they were weak points. Quetgarons have eyelids that cover most of their eyes in order to avoid sand and other gunk getting into them, but these were removed on Gigan and was given a long red visor to protect his eyes instead.
Before Gigan was sent to Earth, he was purposefully starved for a while in order to make sure he’d fuck up as much stuff as possible on Earth. He is the 40th kaiju this earth has ever documented, followed by 41st being Megalon who popped up shortly after Gigan’s arrival. They fucked a LOT of stuff before Jet Jaguar and Mothra were able to take them both down. Gigan now primarily resides in Earth’s deserts reminiscent of his home, waiting for the day where he can fuck shit up again.
He’s just a funny dude that causes destruction on a mass scale and eats people. We love him for that

All Godzilla (and most King Kong) Movies: Personal Tier List
Tumblr media
When Godzilla Minus One came out, knowing that Godzilla x Kong was coming out only four months later, a friend and I decided to part take in the long journey of watching every theatrical Godzilla film to date, including the original King Kong, King Kong Escapes, and King Kong 2005 to have a little history leading into Kong: Skull Island. We skipped the 80's Kong movie as it was rather derivative to the original and Peter Jackson version. Without further ado, and plenty of consideration, this is the ranking off all the movies for myself!

@hrodvitnon Ok this was interesting and I had to draw it! Loving the idea of a Ghidorah with a "space form" being like a mix of Planet Eater Ghidorah and Xeno'jiiva, and an "earth form" being like a mix of KOTM Ghidorah and Safi'jiiva, perhaps after absorbing Godzilla's DNA to adapt to the planet's surface conditions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since people are talking Monster Hunter here I just had an interesting idea. One boss there is the alien dragon Xeno'jiiva, that later matures into a far more "normal-looking" dragon Safi'jiiva. And for some bizarre probably coincidental reason, Xeno'jiiva looks a little like the Anime! Ghidorah while Safi'jiiva looks a bit like Monsterverse! Ghidorah.
Some people complained that Monsterverse Ghidorah "didn't look alien enough", what if he actually did look like so in prehistoric times, and his more "traditional dragon" appearance was due to him adapting to our world and coming to look more like an earthly creature? Or maybe even absorbing Godzilla's DNA hence his similar features?
Y'know, if memory serves me correctly, a similar idea was proposed in an ask from many decades and centuries ago that might've involved old King Ghidorah concept art? It's been long enough ago that I don't exactly remember the art that was used as an example, but yeah, the idea was that Ghidorah looked more obviously Eldritch Alien monster but changed itself to look more conventionally earth dragon-like, in a sorta Taking On A Form You Are Comfortable With Or At Least Willing To Kneel Before And Worship As a Glorious Golden God Monster.

What do you think would happen if all the incarnations of Mothra interacted?
Oh, that would be a lot of reunions to each other!
I mean, certainly.
Their roles are primarily the best of their decision to maintain their status (Queen from MV Mothra).
Showa Mothra is the first so, she knew she was "proud" to see the generations of hers had become famous. (The old lady still has her guts of kicking enemies' butts)
Heisei Mothra is kinda glad to meet them all, and I include Battra here (in my own AU, Mothra and Battra were lovers). So far, her son Mothra Leo...well...let's just say he is far more beyond excited to meet them (he has trouble dealing his 'mild identity crisis' is because his form can change; they don't mimd him being the only male moth - same with Battra - of their incarnations). Of course, Battra and Mothra seek to raise Mothra Leo as their son.
From the Millenium, I think I should split up:
GMK Mothra was quiet, IDK why but, she has some 'issues' of dealing with this reunion. Technically, she is the only generation of Mothra that won't interact much (she will if there's something that interested her). Anyway, she would question them like "is this really necessary to meet you all?" Her anger issues is the only way you should not to mess with.
To Millenium Mothra, it is far more beyond calculative than she expected to see her generations. I mean sure, she is refer to as Showa's only daughter so, she had no probls at all.
And down to MV Mothra! Well, the Queen is very pleased to meet them all, they admired her wings because it displays her symbiosis to MV Godzilla, which is why Showa told her to have children, and it embarassed her because they need to maintain the balance first before...going to their next step. Which suited her fine, yet.
BONUS!!!
About the Reiwa Mothra from Godzilla: The Planet Eater...
Reiwa doesn't interact them too much. She is rarely seen hiding from who knows where...but, she is happy to see them all in one place.
ANOTHER ADDITIONAL BONUS!!!!!
About Mothra's Shobijin:
SHOWA: Seems fine to them meeting with the others.
HEISEI: OOOOOOHHHH I'M GONNA SPLIT THEM. The Cosmos and the Elias. The Cosmos are preferrably like to interact the Showa. The Elias, well...seems a difference. Belvera may have a hatred with humans, but she deeply cares for her younger sisters. Moll and Lora are most likely to see how well they can handle their interactions.
MILLENIUM: The Shobijin in Millenium. They are the replacements of the Showa, so they follow their tradition from their priestesses' generations.
REIWA: Maina and Miana. Close call, they prefer to hid themselves away in a secluded home where they only interacted with Reiwa Mothra.
MONSTERVERSE: Dr. Ilene Chen and Ling Chen. Honestly, they found fascinating to see these small little priestesses that has a connection with Mothra from their Era.
And that would be all!
