I think I like the GOC better than the Foundation in terms of themes. Less spooky, more action.

A long while ago, I experimented with some powerswap / guardianswap AU designs with Jack. I never finished them for the other Guardians, though I had wanted to all these years. I wasn't too happy with all of Jack's designs so I went back and touched them up. 

Actually, whatever side he is on or how canon would fit into each story is up to the audience, I just wanted to draw these character designs based on the original character's personality and attire of choice. 

Jack Claus's staff is a wooden staff painted red and white like a candy cane, but it's still a stick. His hoodie is now a thick winter coat, with a scarf fashioned around the waist with puffy winter pants and boots. I experimented with brown hair for him, but it blended in with his red coat, so I kept his hair white. 

Jack Jay. The old Jack design for the ToothFairy was inspired by ask-tales-of-childhood.tumblr.… , but after a time I lost interest in the design and tried to go a different route. I paired Jack with a Blue Jay, a territorial bully of birds. It fit his mischievous, carefree attitude in a way, and kept him feathery. He uses his staff to carry large bags of teeth.��

Jack Rabbit. A white bunny with an ever-growing staff. His hoodie doesn't block his main and most powerful sense: his ears, so it is just a charming fashion statement. 

Jack Sand wears a one-piece night dress with seaweed hoodie strings. His staff has been woven into a powerful dreamcatcher that purifies bad dreams. 

Jack Black (yes, yes har har) wields a staff of black sand, and his mischievousness has now perhaps a sinister side. His preferred Nightmare is a wolf.

Toothiana in Battle Gear

Sorry for late Anniversary Post. Happy (belated) Anniversary. Toothiana from “Rise of the Guardians” movie (Dreamworks) and “Toothiana: Queen of the Tooth Fairy Armies” book/ “Guardians of Childhood” saga by William Joyce. With some personal headcanons. 

I imagine her in Full body armor, including wings.  Her wing armor also acts as weapons. The pink glass adorning her big wings isn’t for decoration. I also imagine her wearing face paint.  

Medium: acrylic paint on canvas.  Software: PicsArt editing. Post painting. 

(I wanted to post this yesterday on the Anniversary Date. But all devices with my edited and watermarked photos were taken by family. This what happens when I own only a phone for myself and all other electronics are shared. I think they forced me to give up usage of the tablet (the 1 tablet I was using at the time) for themselves. )

If Lillian would end up in GOC's custody, do you think they would've treated her better?

That's a pretty good question. I mean, obviously different circumstances will change a person's trajectory in life, so she wouldn't have met Byrnes and might be much better off. However, I still think the GOC as an environment would not be much better off in the Deepwell setting. Who's to say?

Idk why but I was suddenly hit with thoughts of a Koz and Nightlight Sleeping Beauty au or a Cinderella au. Those damn thoughts of Koz using true loves kiss to wake up Nightlight or Koz finding Nightlight with the damn glass slipper! *grips chest*

I wish I had the time and energy to sketch out all of my ideas because Sleeping Beauty AU is giving me SO MANY BRAINWORMS!!! There’s so much involving Nightlight & kisses in the books and aughghgjdjf there’s so much juicy potential there!! Anyways at least have this one sketch of Koz going in for the kill kiss.

ok, I’ve been thinking a lot about RotG lately and started wondering how much Sandy knows about people who are up late? Those with insomnia, those with messed up work schedules, those who work night shifts, etc. every adult was once a kid protected by the guardians, I’d think Sandy would still think of those sleep deprived adults as kids under his protection
