Fraudster Suryawanshi cheated people from different cities, promising gold at cheap rate, he collected lakhs of rupees from gullible victims
Mukesh Suryawanshi, the fraudster who duped several persons at various cities in the state by luring them with cheap gold, is currently behind the bars. Suryawanshi impressed people by his posh lifestyle and duped them of lakhs of rupees.
A 28 years old woman from Baner, Pune gave Rs 42.80 lakh to the cheat in January 2018. He returned only Rs 17.59 lakh to her. After July 2018, he stopped repayments. He later fled to Dubai. After living there three years, he arrived in Goa on March 6 this year. The police arrested him after arrival at the Goa Airport. He was later handed over to the Mumbai police for further investigation.
Farmer from Dhule falls prey to his guile
The suspect duped a farmer from Dhule of five tolas gold on the lure to get double profit on this investment. The farmer said that Mukesh and his parents were high-profile and had high living standards. Hence, everyone easily believed in them and their promise of higher returns. They earned confidence of the people by making assured repayments for the first three months but later ceased to pay. Suryawanshi has duped around 60 such farmers from Dhule, Nashik, Jalgaon and other districts.
Women from Thane also cheated
Suryawanshi duped two women from Thane district. He told one of them that he will get gold for them at less price than the market. Similarly, in 2013, he duped the other woman saying that he will help her sell her gold at price higher than the market price. Both the women were left high and dry.
Moreover, the conman had cheated several married women on the pretext of marrying them and accepting them along with their children. He took lakhs of rupees from them. He used to find such women on Facebook and duped women from Pune and Ahmedabad in this fashion.
Plaint from alert investor led to arrest
Suryawanshi was caught in the police net due to an alert complainant Satyanand Gaitonde who works as an agent with the National Security Service Canada. Suryawanshi duped him and his family members of around Rs 60 lakh to Rs 70 lakh. Gaitonde has a flat at Dahisar area in Mumbai. He used to come to Mumbai occasionally. According to him, he met Suryawanshi in 2013 on a film set. Later, Suryawanshi contacted him through Facebook and WhatsApp. He gained Gaitondeās confidence and later asked him to invest in gold as he has started a company. During 2018-19, Gaitonde invested Rs 15.62 lakh. His family members too put in money. When realized that he has taken for a ride, he tried to contact Suryawanshi, but in vain. He later lodged a complaint with the police. Gaitonde has called for strict action against the cheat and also urged people to come forward in large numbers to lodge complaints so that another fraudster like Suryawanshi does not emerge.

Thinking very hard about an AU idea of mine. Reluctant king Sabo AU!
In which Sabo isnāt saved by Dragon, but survives long enough to drift ashore and be saved by the doctors of Goa Kingdom, who do so only to ransom his medical bills from Saboās parents. Saboās parents take him back, thinking that his amnesia makes him a clean slate, but Sabo, young and stubborn and unsure of his entire identity, knows that everything is wrong and runs again, and again, and again.
Until at some point, he meets the Revolutionaries, and realizes that he can be useful to them, provide them information, make something good of an inescapable situation. From then on, he starts acting the noble that he was born as, in order to be a more useful informant to the Revolutionaries, until sunk cost fallacy hits and he believes that being a noble is the only way that he can be useful to the Revolutionaries. So at that point, why not take it all the way?
At 17, Sabo becomes one of Princess Sarieās suitors, and at 17, he has doubts about using the princess for his own goals. Sarie is a romantic, and she wants a dramatic fairy tale of a romance, and she was already charmed, but the moment Sabo opens up to her about not wanting to use her to get to the throne, having lofty ambitions of helping the people (just not the people she thinks heās talking about), Sabo becomes the one she simply must marry, because surely if she tries hard enough, she can make him love her back.
Soon after, the king and his son die. Sarieās father and brother die. And while Sabo conveniently ascends to the throne, he also swiftly implicates his father, Outlook, in the assassination of all heirs to the throne, resulting in Outlookās arrest and subsequent execution. And thus, at 18, Sabo becomes king, and begins to gradually institute great changes to Goa Kingdom.
Design-wise, Sabo wears an eyepatch because his damaged eye is considered a grotesque sight by noblesā standards. Under the eyepatch, he wears heavy makeup to hide the burn scar. These are both at the behest of his birth parents, who spin a story about Sabo having been born half blind to hide the fact that Sabo had been shot by a Celestial Dragon and save face. To those who have seen his scar, they fabricate a second secret story that he was unfortunately kidnapped as a child. Sabo never does find out, until he regains his memories, where the burn scar is actually from.
#one piece#sabo#one piece au#king sabo au#I might write something for this#I have a lot of ideas for it#I love auās where sabo helps the revolution while not being actually a member of the revolutionary army#but I very rarely see ones that I like#I am going to oc-ify sarie so much.#i think sabo would hate being king. I think he hates everything about the situation he is in#but I also think that in the wake of forgetting himself he needs some connection to cling onto#even if that connection is the extremely inspiring stranger that barely knows him but is proud of him for helping#namely dragon.#Iām still unsure where to put stelly in all of this#I think stelly gets extremely bitter when sabo starts surpassing him in everything#because he was supposed to be the successful replacement of a son#im also debating whether or not I want sabo to remember his memories before or after marineford#because the moment he regains his memories is very clear to me. I want garp to see him at the reverie and punch him.#but I donāt know if I want that to happen earlier or later

Hi! I watched the 2003 pride and prejudice and it was so cute!!! I love that Wickham gets arrested (though he runs away too lol). I thought for a moment that Elizabeth actually did throw water on Darcy's face š. Both of them were very cute and I loved how their first meeting was them arguing over books. Bingley was so funny though š¤£š¤£ I can watch another hour of him š
Hi!
I'm so glad you liked it! It has so many funny and clever bits. Wagner for the Vicious and the Las Vegas chase scene always gets me in stitches. Mr. Collins being The WorstTM in the ways he's supposed to be The WorstTM. His ending with Mary. Lydia's ending is actually good and makes sense in the context of the whole movie rather than being a hanging modernization. This movie came out before both Bride & Prejudice and Pride & Prejudice (2005). It's mesmerizing to me, faultless in spite of all its faults XD
I also saw you really liked B&P!!!! MY BELOVED. I was (and still am to a degree) obsessed with that movie. I have watched the different extras and such many times. People often criticize Martin Henderson as Darcy for being bland (but I think the whole point is that he's playing White Guy in a Non-White-Guy Movie. It'd be like calling Ian from My Big Fat Greek Wedding bland), or the fact that Darcy and Lalita have this sort of enchanted dating period before the proposal (which I think is a legitimate change to make) or that the movie reproduces the same sort of "taming" of India to make it palatable that it denounces (this one I feel is pretty legitimate).
The OST has so many songs in English because the movie was a British-Indian production (the director, Gurinder Chadha, had already made a hugely successful movie the same way, Bend it Like Beckham --which I suppose would only ring a bell now to millennials around my age and a bit older and say nothing to you unless you are a Keira Knightley stan sdfsfa).
Originally the movie was supposed to open with Marriage Into Town, which was a long (over 10 minutes) sequence that included character introductions and such, but they decided in the end it would give audiences the impression that the movie was an opera musical, so they reorganized the whole thing (it was released on DVD extras).
Martin Henderson did actually sing for this movie, but his pieces were cut; he sung a duet with Aishwarya called Arrogance, Pride, and Vanity that was meant to go after the argument they had in Goa, but it was cut out of the movie because it felt like it was overcrowding with the Ashanti number that follows almost immediately. As much as I understand Ashanti was a big hook for the movie, I think it does date the movie a lot, and I would have much preferred that the cut had gone the other way around. Alas. Still it was also made available as DVD extra and it is great. Because they did cut that song, they also decided to cut both their verses in the Take Me To Love reprise that goes through the dating montage. Again, another loss (and again another thing we were mercifully given, this time in the OST album).
What else... ah, Naveen Andrews is my favorite Bingley ever (the only valid to me with 1980, despite how hilarious I think Mormon!Bingley is in his own movie) XD
Of the song numbers, most people I know seem to love No Life Without Wife the most, but to me it's... the other way around XD it's so difficult to pick favourites. Cobra Dance is hilarious. Take Me To Love is touching. Balle Balle is a riot. The whole thing is so energetic and so mid 2000s and so so so so so nostalgia to me, very beloved.
#ask#inardentdaylight#jane austen#bride & Prejudice#Pride and prejudice 2003#B&P#Mormon P&P#Pride and prejudice: a latter day comedy#Bride & Prejudice#Bride & Prejudice 2004#I think I have tagged both all those ways in my blog what a mess XD

Several Dead, Hundreds Injured in Pro-Independence Rallies in New Caledonia
Pro-independence protesters say France's new constitutional reform will dilute the share of the vote held by Kanaks, the Indigenous group that makes up about 41 percent of the population.

At least three people have been killed and hundreds more were injured during a second night of protesting in New Caledonia, authorities said.
Wednesday was the third day of demonstrations against a constitutional reform pushed by Paris that has roiled the archipelago, which has long sought independence.
Despite heavily armed security forces fanning out across the capital Noumea and the ordering of a nighttime curfew, protesting continued until overnight Tuesday virtually unabated.
The reform ā which must still be approved by a joint sitting of both houses of the French parliament ā would give a vote to people who have lived in New Caledonia for 10 years.
Pro-independence forces say it would dilute the share of the vote held by Kanaks, the Indigenous group that makes up about 41 percent of the population and the major force in the pro-independence movement.
In Noumea and the commune of Paita on Wednesday, there were reports of several exchanges of fire between civil defence groups and protesters.

Security forces regained control of Noumea's penitentiary, which holds about 50 inmates, after an uprising and escape attempt by prisoners, it said in a statement.
Police have arrested more than 130 people since Monday night, with dozens placed in detention to face court hearings, the commission said. About 60 police have been injured, it said.
A nighttime curfew was extended, along with bans on gatherings, the carrying of weapons and the sale of alcohol.
The territory's La Tontouta International Airport remained closed to commercial flights and people were urged to restrict any travel during the day, the high commission said.
Pacific Rivalry
Macron said French lawmakers would vote to definitively adopt the constitutional change by the end of June unless New Caledonia's opposing sides agree on a new text that "takes into account the progress made and everyone's aspirations".
In the Noumea Accord of 1998, France vowed to gradually give more political power to the Pacific island territory of nearly 300,000 people.
As part of the agreement, New Caledonia has held three referendums over its ties with France, all rejecting independence.
As part of the agreement, New Caledonia has held three referendums over its ties with France, all rejecting independence. But the independence movement retains support, particularly among the Indigenous Kanak people.

A New Caledonia pro-independence leader, Daniel Goa, asked people to "go home", and condemned the looting.
But "the unrest of the last 24 hours reveals the determination of our young people to no longer let France take control of them," he added.

Peace's Backstabbing Of Porcinni Reminds Me Of How Bluejam Was Backstabbed By The King Of The Goa Kingdom
It's practically the same trope of villain gets promised a reward for doing a higher up's or publicly heroic organization's dirty work so they can have their hands cleaned and ends up not going through with it so they can have a fall guy or again they never intended to follow through. Seriously, I think it should be a big enough fall for a villain that Black Hat should use the Porcinni example as why it's a stupid thing to do because you end gambling on someone keeping their promise and if they don't you end up with nothing or worse dead. Also in the case of Porcinni you end up hunted down by Black Hat for your treachery.
Biggest difference is Bluejam realized he was duped and was set up to die alongside everyone in Grey Terminal while Porccini held onto the delusion they would make him a hero even when they came to arrest him. Guy just really is stubborn and doesn't want to admit he might have made a grave mistake thinking that pallying with the corrupt force that is PEACE would get him full protection. However, both men in the end got nothing but karmic death because of their treachery and hunger for power.

The Hermitcraft Heroes & Villains AU (HHVAU)
Heyyy it's me Ben back with another hermitcraft au I'll never write but could talk endlessly about! This time we hit the ground running with a classic (or not-so-classic) heroes and villains AU :D
TW/CW: hermitshipping, medical gore (non-graphic description), implied child abuse, mind control, cults, aliens & fungi/mould, alchohol/drinking
Disclaimer: I've read quite a few hero/villain stories in this fandom, so some of these ideas might not be super original! Thank you to the lovely folks on discord who helped with this!
Premise: In the city of Blackstone, heroes and villains take to the streets to fight, engaged in a constant battle for control. The Hero Bureau, overseen by the mysterious Watchers, takes in powerful individuals and trains them to protect the city, while villains and vigilantes are free agents.
Despite the fighting, most heroes and villains have a few key rules they try not to break. Revealing someone's secret identity is a total no-go. Even upon arrest villains' identities are often kept quiet. The city must remain standing, also, so most villains do not aim for utter destruction. It is a careful balancing act of an ecosystem, some may say, that keeps the city afloat.
Pssst. Send me asks to get writing snippets. More (long descriptions) under the cut!
Villains
Grian "The Mother Spore"
Powers: flight, mind control, mycelium spores, mushroom & mould manipulation
Started as an ordinary bird hybrid and architecture student before becoming infected, chosen to be The Mother Spore for an infectious and invasive alien fungusĀ
The mycelium controls his mind, though he is lucid, it simply convinced him to protect and spread the fungus to take over the world, and now he acts on that one goal
Used to be very driven and have a big plan for his life, has no personal goal now, using his creativity and energy entirely to provide for the spores
Lives in a secret hideout in a dense forest outside the city, has grown mushrooms and mycelium around the base to keep unwanted people out
Tends to target small isolated towns, wiping them out overnightĀ
Some have called him the 'angel of death' because of his wings and general death-omen vibes
Kills people to use their bodies as mushroom food
Can control people's minds by connecting them to the mycelium network, an alien hivemind
Occasionally becomes lucid and is afraid of what he has become
Still yearns for something, some kind of human connection, despite his thoughts being basically erased and replaced by the mycelium, it's complicated
Fun fact: as a civilian and in his personal life, Grian uses he/him, but as The Mother Spore, she uses she/herĀ
Ren "The Dog" / "The King"
Powers: shapeshifting, enhanced smell, sight, strength and hearing
Former member of the Hero Bureau, turned villainĀ
A dog hybrid with the unique ability to shift his form into a huge wolf creature
Now works with villain GOAT (Doc)
Mostly focussed on kicking butt and doing thievery but also intent on stopping the Hero Bureau and associated people, big on revenge
Not a fan of The Mother Spore but content on leaving her alone so long as she doesn't descend onto the city (he values his life)
Shifted from dog theming to king theming when going from hero to villain, hates being called ādogā or anything like that
Monster form can go out of control / feral and hurt people
Monster form side-effect of killing his energy + damaging his āhumanā form
Fun fact: he likes shiny things and good music, and has a collection of (mostly stolen or thrifted) trinkets in his house
Doc "GOAT"
Powers: he's just really good with technology and geneticsā¦ like, weirdly good, everything else is part of his own experiments
Unethically experimented on himself, stole expensive tech from high-security labs
Comprehensive list of Docās unethical self-experiments:Ā
Hybridization (goat) - an illegal practice used to gain hybrid features, by messing with his own genetics using new tech to give himself goat horns, patches of fur, goat ears + hoof hands
Cybernetics (failed) - tried to attach cybernetic modifications but his body rejected them and caused them to malfunction badly, paralysing his arm and half of his face
Cybernetics - replaced his paralysed arm + parts of his face with new cybernetics now created from materials his body wouldnāt reject, the tech is woven into his body making the two inseparable and dangerous to damage
Chemical Alteration (failed) - drank a serum meant to make him stronger but it failed, instead colouring his fur green
Hybridization & Cybernetics (butterfly) - gave himself part-organic part-cybernetic butterfly wings, because he wanted to fly and this was the most sensible solution
Started out as a curious science nerd, became a criminal through illegal experimentation, resorted quickly to stealing tech to aid his curiosity and further experiment on himself
Once labelled a criminal he turned to more high-profile crime, revelling in being a āsupervillainā
Refers to a āHivemindā occasionally when conducting experiments, assumed to be something to do with his cybernetics- an inherent mental connection to the internet due to the cybernetics connected to his brain?
Hates HotGuy. Wants to know HotGuyās secret identity so bad. Actually a little bit obsessed with HotGuy. Hey man why have you got all that HotGuy merch.
Ren is his bestie / partner in crime / actual partner.
Swears HotGuy started this weird nemesis thing they have going on. Will not elaborate when asked.
Actively wants to murder The Mother Spore. Because she's annoying and gross.
Fun fact: he does not get along well with other scientists. Kind of like a really hostile cat.
Cub
Powers: blessing of the Vex
He was raised in a cult which worshipped the Vex, kidnapped as a baby with his parents murdered
Raised alongside Scar, who defended him a lot as a child- they had a close relationship but it never went anywhere before Scar left at 17
The cult was very manipulative and unethical, with Cub killing his first person at age 18- he was outspokenly against it as a child but grew to accept the cult
The cult disbanded when he was around 30 (ish) after the supposed 'day of blessing' from the Vex passed with no apparent payoff- Cub fled the following chaos and ended up in Blackstone
With a lot of skewed morals and fascination with the human body, he begins tricking or straight up kidnapping civilians in order to test the limits of their lives. He approaches this all quite clinically, cutting people up and experimenting on them
Fun fact: Cub is blessed by the Vex, it just doesn't 'show'- he has an array of magical qualities that make his work and life easier without him realising
Cleo "Zombie"
Powers: zombie curse
Former powerless hero
She was once best friends with Pearl when they were in the Hero Bureau together, but everything changed after Pearl accidentally read her future and told her
Pearl insisted that Cleo would be cursed, and begged them not to go out on a mission, but this only angered Cleo, hating the fact that their future might be set in stone
To change the road of fate, Cleo sought out the curse themself, only to fulfil the prophecy and become cursed
In a last, desperate attempt at getting one up over Pearl, she publicly revealed her secret identity, forcing Pearl to live in fear
Now a minor villain, mostly just set on taking down the heroes out of spite
Fun fact: besties with Joe Hills, occasionally guts him for fun (this will make more sense later...)
Tango āArchitectā / āBafflerā / āDungeon Masterā
Powers: spacebubble creation, magical architecture, games!
He just likes to play silly games!
The silly games in question are murder games, he creates them in pocket universes and picks civilians up from the street to play
They die a lot
Secretly friends with Zedaph and Impulse, who run through his games (death-free) for fun
Generally seen as a poor excuse for a villain, being referred to as the "Baffler", which he hates
Fun fact: can make beasts. Keeps making beasts.
Heroes
Scar "HotGuy"Ā
Powers: ā¦ he can shoot arrows real good and has a cool utility belt, never-ending optimism
He's HotGuy!
Your friendly neighbourhood superhero (if, by neighbourhood, you mean city and surrounding districts)
Is a vigilante and not affiliated with the Hero Bureau but works with them a lot
Has a gay thing going on with Grian despite all the sporesā¦
Has another gay thing going on with Cub
Yet another gay thing going on with Mumbo
Please stop trying to kiss villains, Scar
Tragic backstory: was raised in the Vex cult alongside Cub, who he became friends with very quickly. He stopped the cultists from hurting Cub, receiving his scars in the process. Cub also protected him, refusing to allow the cultists to sacrifice him once his disabilities made themselves known, but Scar left the cult and became a hero at age 18 after refusing to sacrifice someone
Does not trust the Hero Bureau because of the cult stuff
Heās very popular with civilians, but nobody knows his secret identity- he is scared of being tracked down or stopped by government / local authorities because of his vigilante nonsense
Fun fact: he is an ambulatory wheelchair user who also utilises crutches and leg braces on the battlefield, allowing him to be stealthy and quick when it matters most at the cost of his energy and pain in his personal life
Pearl āMoonwitchā
Powers: can see someoneās future by touching their skin- most powerfully during the new, full, and half stages of the moon phase, trained in combat, debated ability to change the future / contact otherworldly fate beings
Part of the Hero Bureau, one of the higher ranked heroes
Very good with animals, to the extent that people thought she had animal powers
Her hero persona started out as a very goth / witchy type, but she switched to a more cozy theme when she became more popular
Doesnāt often go into the field to fight villains, but is sometimes needed for backup- usually she stays at the Bureau and uses her powers on captured villains and occasionally on heroes before they go out on missions
Her identity is no secret, unfortunately revealed in a pretty dramatic fight with Cleo which led to Cleo becoming a villain
Due to her identity being revealed, Pearl is very careful and never travels alone unless she has to, and she moved out of her apartment to live at the Bureau, making her extra protective of it
Good friends with heroes Gem and Impulse (they call themselves āsoup groupā- no one knows why)
Does not like using her powers, she has been forced to witness a lot of bad stuff that she then had no ability to stop / change
Fun fact: Used to be friends with Grian before he became The Mother Spore, tried to convince him to apply for sidekick tryouts at the Bureau (after seeing his... quite bad future accidentally) but he refused, claiming he wanted to focus on his studies and that the mysterious Watchers creeped him out
GemĀ "Life-bringer"
Powers: healing, injury absorption, invincibility
Despite having healing powers, she absolutely kicks ass in a fight, which she keeps trying to explain to the Watchers (they do not listen)
Tends to be sent into battle after a fight is over to help heal civilians and heroes (though she will heal villains too)
Can't die from using her powers but is hit with the pain of the injuries she absorbs
Part of the soup group! They get soup on Thursdays.
Xisuma "Voidwalker"
Powers: walking through walls, turning invisible in shadows
I just included him here because he has a weird thing going on with Keralis
One of the higher-ups in the Hero Bureau, simultaneously knowing too much and not enough- doesn't necessarily agree with how things are run
Impulse āGargoyleāĀ
Powers: demonic, stone skin, electricity powers
Lots of friends, some of them not so heroic, some of them like soup
Really just a hero for the pay benefits
False āGolden Eagleā
Powers: highly skilled in combat, flight
Weird little friendship with Ren, which often evolves into them fighting in the middle of the city
Has very sharp talons, but isn't actually a golden eagle hybrid- she's a red-tailed hawk
Zedaph
Just the Hero Bureau's local mad scientist!
He is not normal
Neutral/Civilian
MumboĀ
Powers: he is a vampire. Sorry.Ā
Acts like he was turned in the 60s, but in reality he was turned only a decade ago, just really into both hippie and suit-and-tie aesthetics
Drinks blood, I mean he is a vampire what more do you wantā¦ but generally against killing people (yay?)Ā
Weak in the sun and gets sunburned very easily so he has a parasol, holy water and silver burn him too, and stakes are deadlyĀ
Best friends (...) with Grian, knew him before the whole Mother Spore business and stuck with him despite it- stays in the forest with Grian a lot because of the excellent levels of tree coverage that blocks out the sun
By virtue of being a third wheel, he knows Scar too, and often has to act as a messenger between the two when they get into arguments (this happens often.)
He is really into travelling and often leaves the city to go to see other towns and such, brings back souvenirs for his friends
Due to being genuinely undead, he is immune to Grianās alien mycelium- yippee!
Mumbo buddy can you please talk about your feelings we can all see you staring at HotGuy and fawning over Mother Spore come on dude
Fun fact: a really good engineer- he was doing that as his career and stuff before the whole vampire thing. Still loves to geek out about engineering nonsense every once in a while and also likes to invent things (that rarely work)
Joe Hills
Powers: immortal, can sense when someone else with powers is nearby (NOT a spider-senseā¦)
He has lived several lifetimes, by this point, usually skipping town after a few decades so as to not seem suspicious
Always says āwell this life is my favourite by farā
However, he has a pretty poor memory, so donāt ask him about any life but this one
Runs a live podcast which covers the daily goings on of heroes and villains across the city- made easier by his inexplicable ability to be in the right place at the right time, always first to the scene of a battle ready to record
Used to be an informant for the Hero Bureau, but wasnāt officially part of their ranks, more like an anonymous tipper
Has some insane gay thing going on with Cleo, letās just call them friends for now
Theyāre roommates
Knew Cleo before the whole curse thing, stuck with them when they became a villain, cut all ties to the Bureau and started leaning his content slightly against the Bureau (but still in favour of vigilantes and against outright murder)
There is something wrong with him I think
Fun fact: when heās at the scene of a fight, he makes silly quips and commentary at the parties involved, while safely standing to the side, often live recording his podcast. No one likes this. Multiple villains have tried to kill him for being annoying, but yāknowā¦ immortality. Death doesn't hurt him as he has no evolutionary need to feel pain.
Keralis
Powers: hypnosis
Runs a bar/club in the middle of the city which heroes and villains frequent (though it tends to be more popular with villains)
The club is a neutral zone, no fights can happen there- if someone tries to start something, Keralis can and will use his hypnosis on them
Club might be a front for a mafia donāt worry about it
Fun fact: do not look him in the eyes
Beef āButcherā
No powers
Works cleanup jobs for villains, referred to as āButcherā both because itās his day job and because of how many bodies he disposes of
Beefā¦ is probably not his real name, anyway
Heroes dislike him generally, but he makes a lot of problems disappear
Known to take up any cleanup job if the pay is right, but has a rule against killing anyone- bodies are perfectly fine, heās even down to help with kidnappings and hostage situations, but he will not kill- believes killing is the last straw before a person becomes a monster
Bull hybrid. Yes, his day job is awkward. He enjoys it, though, the little weirdo
Has been called on by some less-moral heroes to help with cleanups that are too much of a mess to fix the ethical way
Fun fact: good friends with xB and Keralis, regularly calls on them to help him with cleanups, but does most of the messiest work himself. Though Keralis is very helpful for dealing with living witnessesĀ
Main Plot
The main story follows HotGuy as he attempts to make the Hero Bureau look bad by solving more crime and catching more bad guys than they can. He also wants his friend, Grian, to come back from the 'bad' side. However, when Cub shows up in the city, all hell breaks loose and HotGuy ends up getting captured.
Once Cub finds out who Scar is, a lot of conflicting feelings happen (Cub still tries to cut him open, but he puts him back together again) and HotGuy is left unconscious in an alley. There, he's picked up by Mother Spore, whose murderous (but also gay) advances on HotGuy worry Grian enough to seek out Cub himself, willing to go under the knife to remove the spores from his body.
Meanwhile, after her fight with Cleo, Pearl starts to doubt the Hero Bureau. She begins to question the Watchers, no longer trusting them, especially when they tell her she can't leave because her powers are too strong. She enlists the help of some friends, Impulse and Gem, to get to the bottom of the mystery and expose the Watchers.
Subplots
Tango feels shunted, labelled as a 'villain of the week' for his rather ineffectual traps and tricks, so he takes it upon himself to steal other people's powers to make his games more deadly and terrifying
Ren and Doc are doing classic supervillain things, like, building freeze rays and stuff
Joe Hills keeps picking up vital information on his podcasts, and soon a fanbase arises trying to figure out the mystery- this later becomes helpful information for Pearl & Scar
Keralis' many adventures in dealing with drunk-off-their-arse heroes and villains (he has many stories to tell)

You found 5 instances of rapist rabbi over a span of more than 5 years in multiple countries
There have been hundreds of Christian clergy in the USA alone arrested just this year.
A conservative Texas judge just let a priest who plead guilty to raping a 14 year old boy off the hook without even making the rapist register as a sex offender.
If youāre going to cherry pick my replies and expect me to find all the cases of child abuse in the Jewish community ever in history for you when you have as much access to the internet as I do then Iām not going to waste my time responding to you anymore.
Christianity is the largest religion in the world and the most popular in the US. Youāre not proving anything about the religion by googling more cases of Christians or Catholics guilty of sexual abuse. Even with the āhundredsā of cases you think there are that is an incredibly small percentage of the amount of Christian and catholic clergy in the country. Youāre just proving youāre a moron who doesnāt understand statistics.
But if youāre really worried about where most of the sexual abuse of children is, look at public schools. You talk about āhundredsā of Christian clergy arrested in the US this year while the GOA estimates that in one single year (specifically 2017-2018, but thereās not reason to believe this year is unique in numbers) there were almost 15,000 cases of rape or attempted rape in schools.
So if you think youāve proved something because a small percentage of church clergy have been arrested this year, what does that say about schools in the US? š¤
But also way to go by saying these cases donāt exist to ok they exist but they donāt count when you were proven wrong. That just shows you donāt deserve any attention in this discussion and your comments should be completely ignored and tossed in the garbage where they belong and I will treat them that way from now on.

#anon#answered#anyway this is my last response to you#because youāre either a legit idiot#or an insufferable troll#and neither of those things are worth my time

Thousands of doctors across major cities inĀ India, including the capital, New Delhi, on Tuesday, joined in on protestsĀ sparked by the alleged rape and murder of a traineeĀ last week.
A 31-year-old female medical trainee was found dead at one of the largest government hospitals in the eastern city of Kolkata on Friday.Ā Her body sustained multiple injuries and an autopsy report described evidence of sexual violence.Ā
After the incident, doctors walked off their jobs at government hospitals,Ā demanding better security and safety measures for health workers. The chief of the institutionĀ involved, RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, resigned on Monday.Ā
Protests flare as doctors demand better safety
Protests picked upĀ across government-run facilities in the eastern state of West Bengal, home to Kolkata,Ā on MondayĀ āĀ with doctors sayingĀ they would suspend emergency services as well until at least Tuesday.Ā
"As resident doctors, we are on the frontline and deal with lots of patients, which makes us quite vulnerable to these attacks," Doctor Rajat Sharma, vice president of India's Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA), told DW.
"It's a scary situation which we see working on a daily basis. Doctors in West Bengal are protesting for their rights. We want to have better security for our resident doctors."
Around 75%Ā of doctors in India have faced some form of violence,Ā according to a surveyĀ by the Indian Medical Association.
Sharma's FORDA colleagueĀ Sarvesh Pandey told Indian media thatĀ doctors' demands included a specialized law protecting healthcare workers from violence on the job.Ā
"There should be stringent security measures in hospitals and CCTV cameras should be installed," he said.
Students at universities in Kolkata also joined in on protests, demanding better safety measures for women in particular.
Ā Sexual violenceĀ against women is a big problem in India.
TheĀ National Crimes Records Bureau reportedĀ that in 2021, an average of 86 rape cases were registered every day and 49 cases of crime against women lodgedĀ every single hour.Ā
Protests spread to major cities, some services hampered
The incident has struck a nerve in the medical community who have repeatedlyĀ said they face threats from angry family members, especially in the case of bad news involvingĀ medical issues.Ā
In the western Maharashtra state, home to financial capital Mumbai, around 8,000 doctors at government hospitals walked off their jobs on Tuesday.
In New Delhi, junior doctors wearing white coats held banners that read "Doctors are not punching bags" as they sat outside a big government hospital to demand an investigation into the incident.
Protests hampered medical services in the city of LucknowĀ in the most populous state of Uttar Pradesh,Ā as well as inĀ the popular tourist state of Goa.
How have Indian authorities responded?
The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday ordered the case to be transferred over to a federal agency, meaning thatĀ Kolkata police will have to submit all case documentsĀ to the agency.
Kolkata police initially set up a special investigative team andĀ arrested a man in connection with the case.
City police chief Vineet Kumar Goyal told reporters a caseĀ had been registered against the suspect under provisions of the law relating to rape and murder.
The National Human Rights Commission on Tuesday sent notices to the director general of police and the chief secretary of West Bengal state, asking for a detailed report within two weeks.Ā
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata BanerjeeĀ met the family of the victim on Monday, telling reporters later that police were "giving utmost importance to the investigation."

Pio Gama Pinto (March 31, 1927 ā February 24, 1965) was a Kenyan journalist, politician and freedom fighter. He was a socialist leader who dedicated his life to the liberation of the Kenyan people and became Kenyaās first martyr in 1965.
He was born in Nairobi to a Kenyan Asian family of Konkani Goan Catholic descent. His father was an official in the colonial government of Kenya while his mother was a housewife. At age eight, he was sent to India for his education and spent the next nine years there, passing his matriculation exams at St. Josephās High School, Arpora, and studying science at Karnatak College, Dharwar for two years before joining the Indian Air Force in 1944 as an apprentice ground engineer. He took up a job in the Posts and Telegraph office in Bombay, participated in a general strike, and became a founding member of the Goa National Congress. He started an agitation in Bombay against the Portuguese colonial occupation of Goa. His political activism soon made it necessary for him to return to Kenya to avoid being arrested and deported to the Tarrafal concentration camp in Cape Verde.
He became involved in local politics aimed at overthrowing British colonial rule in Kenya. He turned to journalism and worked with the Colonial Times and the Daily Chronicle. In 1954, five months after his marriage to Emma Dias, he was rounded up in the notorious Operation Anvil and spent the next four years in detention on Manda Island. He was kept in confinement from early 1958 until October 1959 at Kabarnet.
In 1960 he founded the Kenya African National Union newspaper Sauti Ya KANU, and later, Pan African Press, of which he subsequently became Director and Secretary. Pinto played an active role in campaigning for KANU during the 1961 elections which it won. In 1963 he was elected a Member of the Central Legislative Assembly and in July 1964 was appointed a Specially Elected Member of the House of Representatives. He worked to establish the Lumumba Institute in 1964 to train KANU party officials. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

The loved & the forgotten pt14
Part 13 here
āāā
Taliesin: *walking beside Kaidan, holding his hand as they lead the group on foot* the airs surprisingly clear out today! I never thought Iād be happy to see the bulwark of raven rock again.
Kaidan: Aye, im looking forward to a proper bed and a rematch.
Sero: Will you be able to actually keep it down this time~ or will you be making my poor darling Geldis clean up after your mess again.
Kaidan: Oh aye. Iām coming prepared this time. Iāll be going at it with a full stomach and no mixed drinks~
Miraak: am I missing something here?
Inigo: my friend gave himself alcohol poisoning with sujamma.
Miraak: I see. *looks up* And this is the company you keep then, dragonborn.
Vivienne: *discovered he can surf on muatra, now gliding back and forth over the group* oh yes, lifeās more fun with them I think. *hooks his legs over the spear and hangs upside down off it* wait until I tell you about Kaidan and the goa-Woaaah! *suddenly gets yoinked down and into Kaidans arms*
Kaidan: shhh, keep your pretty mouth shut you.
Vivienne: *giggles and grabs muatra before wrapping it up as they approach the settlement* oh who has my mask?
Taliesin: I do. *hands it to him* Dibellas mercy look at this place! It was a ghost town when we left!
Kaidan: *nods* aye, looks like things picked up fast with the mines reopening.
Vivienne: *looking visibly uncomfortable seeing a ship with the sigil of house indoril branded on its sails* letās justā¦ keep a low profile then we head for dumzbathar in the morning. *fixes his mask and walks ahead of the group towards the netch, only to freeze as heās suddenly surrounded by temple guards, all of them appearing out of thin air and lashing at him with whip like ropes tangling him up long enough for them to swiftly knock him to the ground and restrain him*
Kaidan: OI WHOT THE FOCK DO YOU THINK YOURE DOING?! *reaches for his blade as the guards not holding Vivi turn their weapons to the group*
Guards: Step aside or be arrested for aiding a heretic god to the temple!
Taliesin: I- a heretic- No youāve got it wrong heās not a god!
Captain Veleth: *approaches with his men, surrounding the temple guards as a crowd begins to form to see whatās going on* Whatās the meaning of this?! Unhand the boy!
Galdrus Hlervu: *suddenly steps into view smirking* With all due respect captain Veleth this is a matter concerning the temple and the safety of the people of raven rock. And this, boy, as you call him has fooled all of you in some poor attempt to regain all the influence heās lost over the last few hundred years. Isnāt that right? Vivec?ā¦
Vivienne: *looks up, visibly trembling believing now to be his final hour alive, his whole life having been warned to stay away from the temple, only for it to come find him instead* I am not vivecā¦ my name is vivienneā¦
Galdrus Hlervu: *rolls his eyes* Tsk, ever the liar as always. Strip him.
The guards: *suddenly begin tearing at his robes*
Team dragonborn: *lunge forward with captain Veleth to stop them only for the guards to force them back*
Kaidan: YOU GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF HIM BEFORE I CUT THEM O-
Everyone: *falls silent as Vivienneās mask and hood is ripped from his face, revealing his gold and blue skin to all. His red and blue eyes met with an audible gasp from the crowd surrounding him*
Vivienne: *smiles tearfully, looking at the crowd before him* I never deceived youā¦ I only look like himā¦ he made me but I am not himā¦ I know you have no reason to believe my words, or trust that I mean no harm or Iāll intentā¦ all I ever wanted was to help.
Galdrus Hlervu: More lies from the cut tongue of a false god. Guards, take him to the temple.
Captain Veleth: *steps forward* Halt it right there! This is an unlawful arrest! The temple must answer to the council first before-
Galdrus Hlervu: Then bring it up to the temple yourself captain, unlike you I clearly value the safety of our people over your stubborn pride for your authority. *huffs and turns walking back to the temple, the guards pushing Vivienne along as he looks back at team dragonborn with heartbreak in his eyes*
Vivienne: *looking at Kaidan & Taliesin as heās dragged away* m-my lovesā¦ donāt cry for meā¦ pleaseā¦ *looks up the temple stairs as heās lead to the doors and forced inside*
Captain Veleth: ā¦ *looks to team dragonborn* You lot! With me! *marches to the front of the crowd* Please! To anyone who has been helped or touched by the kindness of the dragonborn! Speak up!! Let the councillor hear your voices!!! *hurries to the councillors estate*
Taliesin: *looks to Kaidan and takes his hand, a deep fear and pain in his eyes* letās go-
Kaidan: *squeezes his hand* aye! Hurry! Weāre running on borrowed time! *hurries with the group after the captain*
*Meanwhile*
Vivienne: *whimpering as the guards strip him down to just his under cloth, their rough hands grabbing at him all over and shifting him one way and another as they shackle his hands, feet and neck with magic surprising irons before forcing him into a cell as they confiscate his belongings, his priest mask and muatra included, along with the ring of Khajiiti, leaving him locked behind bars, small and vulnerable against the wall* ā¦Mephalaā¦ *sniffles and curls up* I feel like Iām right back where I startedā¦
???: Azuras mercyā¦
Vivienne: *blood turning to ice in his veins and skin prickling up in fear as he recognises that voice* ā¦noā¦ p-pleaseā¦ *looks up to the doorway leading into the holding cells, to see sen dres, standing there, smiling at him*
Sen Dres: *taking in every inch of the demi god chained up before him* oh viviā¦ you look even more divine since I last saw youā¦ *reaches into his sleeve pulling out the mask of vivec, and the pipe from the brothel madam* Iām so happy I finally found you againā¦
*meanwhile outside*
Nerevar: *hurries out of the councillors estate with voryn, the councillors and team dragonborn in tow to see the crowd now gathered outside the temple screaming and rioting in anger threatening to break down the doors if they donāt release vivienne* oh gods-
Voryn: *holds up his ordinator shield marked with the sigils of house dagoth & indoril* everyone behind me. Captain?
Captain Veleth: *readies his shield* men help us part the crowd!
Voryn: *pushes through the crowd moving the group through behind him as he goes before they reach the steps in time to witness Galdrus suddenly pushing Elder Othreloth from the temple doors, knocking the elderly mer to the ground with ease* Elder Othreloth- GUARDS! *points to Galdrus* KILL HIM!
Galdrus Hlervu: *laughs* Oh please yes do try~ by the time you breach these doors I will be in charge of this gods forsaken island~ *flares down at Elder Othreloth as the elderly mer struggles to get up* Youāve held onto your position long enough~ I think itās time for a new change of managem-ā¦ *goes quiet as suddenly the space between him and the other dunmer is filled by the red and black robes of Voryn Dagoth as he teleports right in front of him* I-
Voryn: ā¦ *grabs his head tight and stares into his eyes as his third one begins to glow, showing him visions so maddening his mind practically turns to mush in absolute terror* Obeyā¦
Galdrus Hlervu: *slack jawed, nods* yesss, my looordā¦
Nerevar: *runs up the stairs with tram dragonborn, gently helping Elder Othreloth up* e-easy my friend. *looks to Voryn* Iāll go get h-
Voryn: no. I will. I still canāt be sure if heās the same as he was back then or not and I cannot risk you being killed a second time my loveā¦ stay here and help the guards get this crowd under control. You lot! *points to team dragonborn* with me. *pushes Galdrus down the stairs and hurries into the temple*

Tubby Graffiti
What is tubby graffiti?
If you found this page, you may have searched for 'tubby graffiti 'tubby1 graffiti', and wondered about my tag or sticker. I created this page to show up on Google so there is less misinformation about me, and write more about the purpose of my tag.
I am a graffiti writer/urban explorer from Sydney, Australia. I primarily enjoy painting in 'hidden spots', like drainage tunnels and under bridges.
I got arrested several times within the span of a year or 2 for various charges of vandalism and trespassing. The last time I got arrested in Australia for vandalism, I was sentenced to do community service and I really didn't feel like doing much more graffiti in Sydney, because I kept getting caught.
But as it turns out, I am extremely thankful for the day I was arrested, because that day changed the course of my life forever.
My friend invited me to travel overseas with him, and I ended up travelling some of Asia and Europe with him. I didn't paint graffiti on these first trips or go anywhere off the beaten path, I just put up stickers and just enjoyed living happy and free, and doing as regular people do in their early twenties.
Later on another friend invited me to travel to India. This was my first time travelling to a 'non-touristy' place, and the catalyst for what made me want to drop everything and see the world as so much happened in just a couple weeks, and it ended up with us forgoing our flight to the party destination of Goa and instead going hiking in the Himalayas for 5 days and living among gypsies.
While it was great fun, I also saw huge amounts of poverty and visited the slums. This is really the first time I really saw things like that first hand.
When I returned to Australia, I realized that normal life would never quite feel the same. After getting restless, I ended up selling my car, getting rid of most of my belongings, packing what I needed into a duffel bag and setting off to see the world and write graffiti.
It started off as just fun and games. Backpacking through Asia and Europe, staying in hostels, meeting other travellers, while also writing graffiti and just enjoying life.
As I travelled more, I started seeing more and more in the way of poverty, crime, economic disparity, etc...
When you are painting graffiti in a country which doesn't really have a graffiti scene, it often strikes up conversations or even altercations.
I would always talk to people and they would always ask me 'what is the purpose of the graffiti.' I didn't really have an answer, I just said it was a fat, happy character.
I would eventually start painting countries which are advised as 'do not travel' places, and painting graffiti in these countries would start getting increasingly dangerous, and I would see the effects of war, meet refugees, meet many people just trying to survive in atrocious living conditions.
It would begin to feel distasteful, me just being a tourist, going to these places of extreme poverty with terrible living conditions to write graffiti for a couple days and move on to the next place.
Sitting at 94 countries at last count, I still have not completed even half when it comes to the goal of 'visiting every country in the world'.
About half of the countries left are in the African continent.
I have analysed the list and possibility of visiting every country in the world, and a large portion of what I have left to visit are countries which are considered extremely dangerous/in war/very bad political situations.
At the moment I am not travelling due to real life catching up with me and having a child.
I do not intend to visit all 197 anywhere in the near future, but I do intend to spend a few more months when I can travel again and eventually write a book about the complex social-economic and geopolitical issues which face our world.
My graffiti doesn't really benefit anyone, and is relatively pointless. All my stickers and tags will fade or get painted over, and in a while it will be as if I was never there.
If there is one thing I wish to leave behind, I wish to write and spread awareness about the world issues I have seen first hand. I want to share my views and write about the good and bad I have seen. Unless you see the bad, you can't really appreciate the good.
I'm from Sydney, Australia, a place which consistently ranks as one of the best places to live in the world. I have a passport which allows me to travel to most countries without difficult visas/invitation letters. I come from a place of privilege which allows me to travel with ease.
No one chooses where they were born and I don't want to waste the advantage I was born with, so I will endeavour to write a book and tell the stories of what I've experienced and the things I've seen.

āMaking people feel helpless, powerless, and hopeless is part of the propaganda. [ā¦] I think we all need to become seriously mutinous.ā
āā-
That candle is burning at both ends and down the middle, too.
It cannot all be laid at the door of resource-plundering or strategic thinking. Eventually it develops a momentum and a logic of its own.Ā
As the storm builds, the ethno-nationalists are out harnessing the wind, giving each other courage. [ā¦] While it is easy to take lofty moral positions, in truth, there is nothing simple about this problem. Because it is not a problem. It is a symptom of a great churning and a deep malaise. The assertion of ethnicity, race, caste, nationalism, sub-nationalism, patriarchy, and all kinds of identity, by exploiters as well as the exploited, has a lot ā but of course not everything ā to do with laying collective claim to resources (water, land, jobs, money) that are fast disappearing. [ā¦]
If we go down this warren and choose to stay there, if we allow our imaginations to be trapped within this matrix, and come to believe there is no other way of seeing things, if we lose sight of the sky and the bigger picture, then we are bound to find ourselves in conflicts that spiral and spread and multiply and could very easily turn apocalyptic. [ā¦]
Empire is not just an idea. It is a kind of momentum. An impetus to dominate that contains within its circuitry the inevitability of overreach and self-destruction.
āā-
In the spirit of the globalization of fascism, U.S. alt-right organizations are good friends of Hindu nationalists. Look to India, if you want to understand the world in microcosm. [ā¦]
It is interesting that countries that call themselves democracies ā India, Israel, and the United States ā are busy running military occupations. Kashmir is one of the deadliest and densest military occupations in the world. India transformed from colony to imperial power virtually overnight. There has not been a day since the British left India in August 1947 that the Indian army and paramilitary have not been deployed within the countryās borders against its āown peopleā: Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Kashmir, Jammu, Hyderabad, Goa, Punjab, Bengal, and now Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jharkhand. [ā¦]
As hatred is dripped into peoplesā souls, every day, with sickened hearts we wake up to Muslim-lynching videos put up on YouT*be by gloating vigilantes, news of Dalits being publicly flogged, of women and infants being raped, of thousands marching in support of people who have been arrested for rape, of those convicted for mass murder in the Gujarat pogrom being let out of jail while human rights defenders and thousands of indigenous people are in jail on charges of sedition, of childrenās history textbooks being written by complete fools, of glaciers melting and of water tables plummeting [ā¦].
But it is all OK, because we are buying more weapons from Europe and the United States than almost anyone else. So, India, which has the largest population of malnutritioned children in the world, where hundreds of thousands of debt-ridden farmers and farm laborers have committed suicide [ā¦], is still being celebrated as one of the fastest growing economies in the world. [ā¦]
Corporations are hosting happiness fairs and dissent seminars and sponsoring literature festivals in which free speech is stoutly defended by great writers. Dissent Is the Cool (and Corporate) New Way To Be.
What can we do about that?
When you think about the grandeur of the civil rights movement in the United States, the antiāVietnam War protests, it makes you wonder whether real protest is even possible any more.
It is. It surely is.
I was in Gothenburg, Sweden, recently, when the largest Nazi march since World War II took place. The Nazis were outnumbered by anti-Nazi demonstrators, including the ferocious Ant*fa, by more than ten to one. In Kashmir, unarmed villagers face down army bullets. In Bastar, in Central India, the armed struggle by the poorest people in the world has stopped some of the richest corporations in their tracks.
It is important to salute peopleās victories, even if they donāt always get reported on TV. At least the ones we know about.
Making people feel helpless, powerless, and hopeless is part of the propaganda.
But what is going on in the world right now is coming from every direction and has already gone too far. It has to stop. But how? I donāt have any cure-all advice, really. I think we all need to become seriously mutinous.
āā-
Arundhati Roy, interviewed by Avni Sejpal. āHow to Think About Empire.ā Boston Review. 3 January 2019. Reposted from the indomitable @fatehbaz. Bolding is my own.
My entire twitter feed is people in Rafah saying theyāre terrified, saying their good byes, and asking us to remember them in our prayers. Rafah is facing a massacre. Itās a genocide. We will not know the number of deaths until the morning.
#taps sign taps mic. truly what else is constructive to say besides we need to become seriously mutinous like roy said in 2019?#what else is constructive to say besides we all need to become seriously mutinous?#what else is there constructive to say?#we can grow the spines we need to stand up for our lives.

A 28-year-old woman from Baner, Pune, entrusted Rs 42.80 lakh to Mukesh Suryawanshi in January 2018. However, he only returned Rs 17.59 lakh to her, and after July 2018, stopped repaying. Fleeing to Dubai, he returned to Goa on March 6 of this year, where he was arrested upon arrival at the airport. He was later transferred to the Mumbai police for further investigation. A farmer from Dhule also fell victim to his deception. Suryawanshi convinced the farmer to invest in gold with the promise of doubling the returns. The farmer, trusting Suryawanshi and his family's lavish lifestyle, believed in the offer, especially as the initial repayments were assured. However, as time passed, Suryawanshi ceased payments, and he is said to have duped over 60 farmers from Dhule, Nashik, Jalgaon, and other districts in a similar manner. Suryawanshi also victimized two women from Thane. He promised one woman gold at a discounted price and told the other he would sell her gold at a higher price than market value. Both women were left devastated. Furthermore, he defrauded several married women under the pretense of marriage, promising to accept their children as well. He met these women on Facebook, gaining their trust before taking large sums of money. It was an alert investor, Satyanand Gaitonde, who tipped off the authorities. Suryawanshi duped him and his family out of about Rs 60-70 lakh. Gaitonde, who was based in Dahisar, Mumbai, met Suryawanshi in 2013 on a film set, and was later contacted on Facebook and WhatsApp. He put his trust in Suryawanshi, who persuaded him to invest in a gold business he claimed to have set up. Between 2018 and 2019, Gaitonde invested Rs 15.62 lakh, with his family members contributing as well. Upon realizing he had been scammed, Gaitonde unsuccessfully tried contacting Suryawanshi and eventually filed a police report. Gaitonde is calling for strict legal action against Suryawanshi and encourages other victims to come forward so that such frauds don't continue. for 10 seconds
A 28-year-old woman from Baner, Pune, handed over Rs 42.80 lakh to the fraudster in January 2018. However, he returned only Rs 17.59 lakh, and after July 2018, he stopped making any repayments. He later fled to Dubai and, after spending three years there, arrived in Goa on March 6 this year. Upon arrival at Goa Airport, the police arrested him and subsequently transferred him to the Mumbai police for further investigation.
A farmer from Dhule also fell prey to his deceit. The suspect duped the farmer of five tolas of gold by promising double profits on the investment. The farmer explained that Mukesh and his family had a high-profile image and lived an extravagant lifestyle, which easily won over the trust of many. Initially, the fraudster made assured repayments for three months, but then the payments ceased. In total, Suryawanshi is said to have duped around 60 farmers from Dhule, Nashik, Jalgaon, and other districts.
In addition, Suryawanshi cheated two women from Thane district. He told one woman that he could procure gold for them at a price lower than the market value. Similarly, in 2013, he convinced another woman that he would help her sell her gold at a price higher than the market rate. Both women ended up being left high and dry. Moreover, the conman also deceived several married women by falsely promising marriage and accepting them along with their children. He extracted lakhs of rupees from these women by targeting them on Facebook, particularly those from Pune and Ahmedabad.
Suryawanshi was eventually apprehended due to an alert complainant, Satyanand Gaitonde, who works as an agent with the National Security Service Canada. According to Gaitonde, Suryawanshi duped him and his family members of approximately Rs 60 lakh to Rs 70 lakh. Gaitonde, who owns a flat in the Dahisar area of Mumbai and visits the city occasionally, first met Suryawanshi in 2013 on a film set. Later, Suryawanshi contacted him through Facebook and WhatsApp, gained his confidence, and persuaded him to invest in gold by claiming he had started a company. During 2018-19, Gaitonde invested Rs 15.62 lakh, and his family also contributed. When Gaitonde realized that he had been duped, he tried to reach out to Suryawanshi, but received no response. Consequently, he lodged a complaint with the police. Gaitonde now calls for strict action against the fraudster and urges others to come forward with their complaints so that another conman like Suryawanshi does not emerge.
