World Peace will Always seem unattainable,

If we do not treat every Earthling as equal.

There can never be peace,

If we do not provide unbiased justice.

For fifty-six years, the world ignored the Palestinians' cry.

Now, the revolt for justice is at your door, and you wonder why.

Israel illegally expanded its territory in the West Bank.

Took over East Jerusalem, displacing and discriminating against Palestinians that is sickening; be franc.

The undermining possibility of a two-state solution

The blockade and siege of the Gaza Strip restriction,

The denial of basic rights, the use of violence against Palestinian masses

Has created this humanitarian crisis.

Palestinians are not even free in their own neighborhood.

Israel Denies Palestinians' self-determination, sovereignty, and statehood

You have prevented them from enjoying their political, civil, social, economic, and cultural rights.

So, are you still wondering why they are now standing to fight?

There is so much beauty in the world, but often modern society doesn't give us the opportunity to appreciate it. 😔 Through being forced to slow down and stay indoors though, people everywhere are beginning to strongly crave the outside world and are feeling their lost connection to nature and many of the things they once overlooked. However much some may try to deny it, we are a part of nature and need it to survive and thrive. Now though, more people may truly understand this and not take for granted the freedom of being able to go outside and stop to observe the beauty of the world. It is so often the case that we don't realise what we've got until it's gone. I wonder how many more people will start to think, maybe the world is worth fighting to save after all? 🤔 This global crisis has given so many of us a much needed chance to take stock of all the things we miss and it turns out, many of the most important things in life are not things at all, especially not the things that capitalism defines that we need for a happy life. Instead it is human connection, freedom, beauty, nature, exercise, peace and the ability to travel. We are currently using the worlds resources approximately 1.8 times faster than the environment can reproduce it and in the case of plastic more than 1000 times faster than it can decompose back into the environment without damaging precious ecosystems and animals that our health and livelihood depends on. Just because it’s “on sale” it doesn’t mean you need it or should buy it. If you are one of those people who get suckered in by a “great deal” let me remind you of an even greater deal, THE DESTRUCTION OF THE VERY ENVIRONMENT THAT YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IS AT RISK DUE TO UNNECESSARY, UNCONSCIOUS, OVERCONSUMPTION. There are millions of people suffering from extreme poverty due to the current environment, not to mention the suffering of the environment, so before you go wasting your time and money buying more things, why not do something for the greater good, support a local small business NOT AMAZON! Help a friend in need, there’s plenty of them, support a charitable organisation that’s doing something good for society and or our environment, and for everyone’s sake, if you are going to spend your hard earned cash on a bit of retail therapy then please at least make sure you’re supporting eco friendly products and services.
