Hopewell Hills Elementary Annual Read-A-Thon has come to an end and Ms. Cowart is proud to announce GeGe as the winner (her 1st grade class gets a pizza party).

GeGe was a little upset that her baby sister Leia couldn't come to her award ceremony since it was during her nap time but she was so excited to see that everyone else was able to make it. 🥺 I'm just glad Marguerite behaved while Monet was there cause every time Melo is in her presence, she seems to have a difficult time controlling her hormones.

It's about to be an exciting weekend for the girls because they get to spend it at their dad's house and Ge gets to host her first sleepover. Since Baako is closing out his Comedy Tour in Windenburg (with Anaya by his side), Billie gets to spend the weekend with her bestie(s)!

Fun Fact: Billie is basically Melo's niece, since him and Baako are best friends. That's her Uncle Mellie (and he loves her like she's one of his own).

I wanted to keep this footprint very similar to the original, but also in keeping with the renovated Ophelia Villa and Parkshore. This is for the Giordano family.

There are two reception rooms; one family room/children's playroom, and then the adult's lounge.

Gloria began basic nursing training at a hospital to prepare for becoming a volunteer army nurse and going to Korea to serve. Some afternoons after her classes, she met up with Betsy, Naomi, and June to stroll around the city and look in the windows of their favorite shops. Meanwhile, between his college classes, Salim enjoyed writing short stories for the campus literary magazine, as well as reading, often stopping by the Morales apartment to do so.

As the date for her to leave for Korea neared, Gloria found her conversations with Salim becoming more serious, with a sense of underlying urgency. Though he hadn't proposed yet, he had broached the topic several times. "After you come back and after I graduate, we should get married, Inshallah."

"Of course. Nothing would make me happier, my love," she said. Emboldened by his promise, Gloria felt herself confident enough to take the next step. Shortly before she was set to leave, one thing led to another, and any anxiety Gloria may have had melted away in Salim's arms.

Gloria's Diary

Salim asked me to our school's Senior Dance and I accepted, of course! I can't believe it's finally my turn to attend with my boyfriend after I was the one who told Sal to ask Mary to his dance in the first place. I wore a beautiful yellow patterned dress and Salim looked dashing in his suit. The gym was transformed with balloons and streamers. I spent a lot of time with both my friends and my boyfriend. Dancing with him felt like a dream!

We stole away out back to the courtyard and he told me, "I don't know how I got so lucky to have you, Gloria. You're beautiful, smart, confident, friendly— and I don't know what I'm going to do after school."

"We're only seventeen, Salim," I told him. "We have time. The night is still young. Will you help me make it last?"

And he did.

It’s spring and weekends mean family days at the park. Although Olivia’s friends wonder why her mum always wants to join in (that childish trait).

Everyone talked about there memories and in the end there was even some room for jokes and smiles. Just like Dee would have wanted.  I’m gonna miss Dee. She was the Sim to make me want to start this simblr adventure. I’m really sad she died. But very fortunate for her legacy. I’ve given up on it multiple times but always came back. It’s a hard story with a lot of issues but I’ve learned and grew from it. I just wanted to express my own feelings here as well. Sorry. I miss you Dee. You were a great founder. Loving, everything for family and in for a joke. Thank you.
