Seems like the Jason Universe is doing everything but making a movie.
"New Friday the 13th activations will span a wide range of platforms from entertainment, games, immersive experiences, merchandise and more to be announced throughout 2024"
If you read the article it clarifies that they actually won’t be making any movies. They also mention TikTok and “entertainment experiences” so get ready for found footage TikTok shorts with Jason and not any actual films.
Fuck you, where's my fucking movie?
Also? The fuck is with this artwork?
Tumblr media
You couldn't have just use a mask from one of the movies instead of this AI monstrosity?
What is so fucking hard about Jason Voorhees killing campers in the woods on the big screen?
“We can’t wait to introduce new Jason Universe activations to these amazing fans”
WHAT THE FUCK IS A ACTIVATION
The fan films are constantly being killed with legal bs
The popular and fun video game that people loved to play was killed
The prequel show that people were excited for is dead in the water as of a week ago.
We don’t want a huge interconnected universe.
All ya gotta do produce like one ounce of material that isn’t dog shit and everyone would be satisfied.
But instead let’s bring everything to a halt so we can do an over inflated press release that says essentially nothing.
Bring back Tommy, Alice or Ginny for a legacy sequel.
Hell bring everyone back to hunt down Jason. Retcon Alice's death, bring Tommy, Trish, Ginny, Chris, Pam, Megan, Tina, Rennie, and the Kimbles
Continue the remake timeline
Do a prequel with Pamela and Elias
Do a movie where the camp counselors are abusive cunts and Jason kills them, saves the kids and the children of Crystal Lake tell tales of Jason being a protector of children.
finally do Freddy vs Jason vs Ash
JUST MAKE A FUCKING MOVIE. WHAT IS SO FUCKING HARD???
*Remembers why*
FUCK YOU SEAN S CUNNINGHAM

Slasher fanchild :D
Full name; Paul Voorhees [Quick clarification] Paul doesn't have a proper name in canon, since no one ever gave it to him. However, for narrative purposes, we'll call him that, also because that name sound nice for him
Age: 25-26 years old
Height: 2.01 m (imposing and muscular, similar to Jason)
Physical description: Paul is a red-haired man who was born with hydrocephalus, which gives him a slightly larger skull than normal. However, he has never felt insecure about his appearance; for him, it's just how it should be. He wears a mask made from a cloth bag not out of shame, but out of habit of always seeing Jason with his face covered, and he also thinks he looks better that way.
An uncertain, even confusing origin
Paul is the result of a strange rapprochement between Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers, an inexplicable curiosity that occurred on more than one occasion. There was never any love or connection between them, just an inexplicable impulse (bordering on non-consensual) that unintentionally resulted in the birth of three children. Michael never felt anything for them; he was unable to empathize or care for anyone beyond himself. In Michael's eyes, the children were irrelevant; if it weren't for Jason, he would have killed them. He only returned once, when Johnny, the youngest, was 6 years old. Without saying anything or showing any emotion, he took the child and made a mark on his neck: a symbol that linked him to that curse. Then, he disappeared again, without caring about the impact of his act or the fate of his children, but that will be explained in more detail another time.
Family dynamics: -Paul, being the middle brother, grew up under the unwritten rules of the chaos of Crystal Lake. Jason took care of the three only because his mother, Pamela, had ordered him to do so. Her way of "taking care" was to make sure they had food and were alive, but nothing more. Jason didn't interact with them or try to understand them, he was mostly not even at home; his attention was always focused on protecting the camp. The older sister, with a strong character, assumed the role of leader. Let's say she was like his grandmother, although she was not as maternal or affectionate, but she was in charge of maintaining a certain structure. Her authority was unquestionable, and Paul, although lacking deep emotions, obeyed her without hesitation, perhaps only because she was the imposing and strongest authority at that moment. She used to give him direct orders, but she almost never spoke to him except for specific things. When the younger brother got lost, she would tell him in a dry and authoritative tone: "Find him," an instruction that Paul followed without question. -The younger brother, Johnny (although he did not get his name until years later) was the most vulnerable of the three. Although his appearance was very similar to Michael's, his personality was completely opposite: a shy, fragile and scared child. Paul saw him as a toy that he dragged with him everywhere, but somehow he protected him. Johnny had a strange hobby of collecting skeletons of animals that Paul hunted, keeping them in an old box. He always wore a poorly buttoned plaid shirt and carried a dirty teddy bear that he had found in a cabin.
The beginning of a new life: -When Paul was 15, a group of teenagers came to the camp, Jason was not there. The older sister, defending her territory, brutally murdered them. However, one of them managed to decapitate her and escape. The loss of his sister crumbled the rigid structure that he had put in place for her care. Shortly after, the police arrived on the scene. During the chaos, Johnny tripped while trying to escape and was captured by an officer who took him away from Crystal Lake. Paul could do nothing to prevent it. He picked up Johnny's teddy bear and one of his shirts, leaving them on a chair in his cabin as a reminder of his absence. With his sister dead and his brother missing, Paul was left completely alone. With no one to give him orders, he took over. In a symbolic act, he wrote on the wall of the cabin the phrase his sister always told him: “Find him,” accompanying it with drawings Johnny had made.
Development: -Paul grew up as a huge and ruthless man, as strong and resistant as Jason, but with a more conscious and authoritarian mind. Although he has no interest in humanity, not even in the camp itself, he has an instinctive curiosity that led him to learn about his environment in a self-taught way. He does not speak because he does not consider it necessary, since he is capable enough to do so, he learns quickly, almost from nothing. In his search for Johnny, Paul became a relentless killer. Although this has become more of a personal taste than simply feeling ordered to do it, no, he simply does it because he wants to, if it were up to him, he would leave the camp in complete submission to anyone.
other, but he stays there since it is the only thing he knows for the moment. For him, the others are irrelevant once they pass over his marks, since he always examines his victims for three specific characteristics: blond hair, a scar on the cheek and the mark on the neck that Michael left on Johnny, the mark of that curse, although he really did not know its original meaning. These marks have become his only connection with what was once his family.
Significant details of his personality: Paul is serious, rough and violent, capable of understanding but uninterested in being taught, he is too stubborn, and he is completely convinced that he will find Johnny. His slight egocentrism, if we can call it that, leads him to believe that his success is inevitable; for him, there is no possibility of failure, much less in something like this. Meanwhile, he continues killing, leaving a trail of destruction in his path. Paul does not seek redemption or understanding. He is the son of two monsters, and has fully embraced that heritage. However, deep down, his obsession with Johnny reveals a small trace of interest in just one specific human being, though it could be similar to the intensity with which Michael tries to find Laurie, even if it is beyond his own limits.
Abilities: -Paul combines the best (and the worst) of his parents, Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers. His violent nature, his survival instinct and his imposing physique make him an almost invincible threat.
Unbelievable strength:
Paul's physical strength is extraordinary, far surpassing that of an average human. He can break doors, bend metal bars and lift an adult person as if they were a doll. This ability allows him to perform brutal attacks, such as decapitating with his bare hands or crushing skulls with ease. His strength is not only useful in combat; it also allows him to navigate difficult terrain and move heavy objects quickly.
Supernatural stamina:
Paul has physical and mental stamina similar to Jason's. Pain doesn't seem to affect him significantly, and his regenerative abilities, while not instantaneous, allow him to recover from wounds that would be fatal to others. Bullet, knife, fire: nothing seems to stop him. Even after taking damage, he continues to pursue his targets with the same tenacity, as if he didn't feel tiredness or exhaustion.
Agility and Stealth:
Although his size might make one believe he's clumsy, Paul is surprisingly agile. He has exceptional coordination and is able to move quickly through difficult terrain, such as the forests around Crystal Lake. He's also extremely stealthy; he can stalk his victims without making a sound, using his surroundings to hide and strike when they least expect it.
Paul is not a mindless killer, nor is he a puppet like Jason might be. He is capable of thinking for himself about his actions.
Tolerance to hostile environment:
The years in Crystal Lake have prepared him to survive in any environment. He is resistant to cold, humidity and the harshest conditions. Paul can go days without eating or drinking, moving tirelessly through forests, swamps or even abandoned buildings. His body seems to be adapted to withstand long days of hunting without needing rest.
Refined killer instinct:
From a young age, Paul showed a taste for violence, which led him to perfect his killer instinct. He knows how to attack precisely to maximize the pain and suffering of his victims. Although he enjoys killing, he also knows when to do it efficiently, depending on the situation. He is not impulsive: each murder is planned or, at least, executed with precision, he is patient, he has all the time in the world.
Mastery of hand-to-hand combat:
Paul has taught himself how to use his size and strength in combat. Although he has not received formal training, his experience makes him a formidable fighter. He is able to use improvised objects as weapons, and his instinctive knowledge of human anatomy allows him to strike weak points with lethal precision. Though he knows that he mostly has the advantage.
Tracking ability:
One of his most notable abilities is his talent for tracking. Paul combines natural instinct with a methodical approach. He can follow footprints, interpret signs in the environment, and predict the movement of his targets. This makes him a tireless predator, capable of chasing his victims for days or weeks until he catches them (if they are truly of interest).
Use of improvised tools and weapons:
Paul does not rely on a single weapon. He can use anything within his reach to kill, from knives to shovels or even tree branches. He is creative in his violence, which makes him even more dangerous. Although he is a good wielder of his father's iconic weapon, its versatility allows him to adapt to any situation.
Relentless Obsession: Paul has one clear goal: to find his brother Johnny. This obsession drives him to be tireless in his quest. No matter how many obstacles stand in his way, he always pushes forward. His absolute determination makes him an unbreakable force, unable to stop until he achieves his goal.
Aura of Intimidation: Paul understands the psychological effect of his appearance and demeanor. His cloth mask, intimidating height, and silent walk create an atmosphere of pure terror. His mere presence can paralyze his victims with fear, giving him an added advantage in any confrontation.
Paul is not just a killer: he is a relentless, methodical, and ruthless force. His combination of brute strength, intellect, and a natural inclination toward violence make him a terrifying figure, a hunter who never stops until he reaches his target.
[Additional fun fact] Surprisingly, he is friends with Krueger's son, Erick, perhaps because he likes to contradict
Estatura: 2.01 m (imponente y musculoso, similar a Jason)
Full Name: Gerald Field-Higgins
Age: 18 years old
Date of Birth: June 9, 1985
Physical Description: Dark blond hair slightly wavy, brown eyes tending to honey, and a diagonal scar on his left cheek, the result of an incident during an attempted robbery. His build is athletic, but not particularly robust, and his height places him in the average, which makes him go unnoticed at first glance.
Relationship with their mothers
Ginny Field Ginny and Gerald have a relationship based on trust and mutual respect. Since he was little, Ginny passed on to him values such as empathy and critical thinking. Being a psychologist, she often shared anecdotes and lessons from her career, which sparked Gerald's interest in working with children and understanding human behavior. Although she is not always demonstrative with her emotions, Gerald knows that he can go to her for guidance. Ginny, more open and rational, often tries to mediate conflicts between Gerald and Chris, although she often finds herself caught between the two.
Chris Higgins Chris is an extremely protective mother, especially after Gerald was injured in a robbery attempt when he was 15. This event deeply marked their relationship. Chris, already vigilant due to his own trauma with Jason Voorhees, became even more strict and controlling. Gerald, in his teens, began to feel that his mother did not trust his ability to take care of himself, which led to constant friction. Despite this, both love each other deeply, and Chris feels responsible for the conflicts that arise between them.
Personality and character
Gerald is introspective, kind, and has a great interest in understanding the people around him. His desire to work with children and his choice to study psychology reflect his compassionate nature. He is someone who always tries to find peaceful solutions and build bridges between people, though this inclination can also cause him to avoid necessary confrontations.
In the company of friends or strangers, Gerald is reserved but polite, gaining the trust of others with his patience and willingness to listen. However, under pressure, he can show a stubborn streak, especially when he feels he is being controlled or underestimated. He often struggles with the need to balance his desire for independence with the guilt of moving away from his family.
Independence and leaving home
After years of living under Chris's overprotection, Gerald decided it was time to take a step towards independence. A particularly intense argument with his mother about his plans to move away precipitated his decision. Though Ginny tried to mediate, Gerald had already made up his mind to seek his own path. His goal was to find a quiet place to focus on his studies and enjoy the freedom he felt he needed as a young adult.
Before settling down, a close friend asked him to accompany him to a summer camp that had recently opened. Gerald agreed to take him there. After all, that place was on the way to his original destination, so he didn't lose much by doing a simple favor, right?
At the camp
The trip didn't go as planned: Gerald's car broke down on the way, which forced them to detour and stay temporarily at the camp. His friend took him to the head counselor and owner of the site, Alan Hardy. He promised to return soon with a spare tire in exchange for helping with the children, which Gerald accepted. In fact, that whole day seemed fun to him, he got to the point of thinking about staying all summer to breathe the fresh air of nature.
He planned to talk to Alan once he returned, but he never came back. Gerald, with no immediate options, decided to wait while he explored the camp, hearing for the first time the legend of Jason Voorhees and the old Camp Crystal Lake, which was now completely abandoned, no soul dared to set foot there, as for Jason, who knows if he is still there.
As the days passed, things began to become disturbing. He found abandoned belongings that seemed to have been there for days, he noticed strange movements in the nearby forest and felt a presence that was constantly watching him. Although he tried to remain calm, Alan's absence and the unexplained events began to erode his tranquility.
Isolated, unable to contact his mothers or anyone else, Gerald began to question whether his decision to seek independence had been a mistake. Now he had to face his own fears, not only the internal ones, but also those that lurked in the dark corners of Crystal Lake.
[Español]
Nombre Completo: Gerald Field-Higgins
