Cuddling with UOAW Characters

Request - So excited to see another person writing for Loa! If you don’t mind could you maybe do headcanons of cuddling with the once upon a witchlight crew?

Kremy Lecroux 

- Being the busy conman that he is, cuddling with Kremy comes late at night after a long day of making money with as little work as possible

- He almost never initiates it you’ll have to drag him to you if you want to cuddle the gator

- If you’re shorter than him he’ll curl around your, tail and all, keeping you as close and as safe in his eyes as possible

- If you’re as tall or taller than him he’ll 100% take advantage of it and snuggle in your arms, tail either wrapped around your leg or laying over your waist

- Be prepared cause once you’re in his arms he’s not letting you go for a long while mainly cause he loves you and also because you’re a personal space heater for him

- Since he’s coldblooded cuddling with him in summer is a dream 

- If it’s unbearably hot he’ll slide his hands under your shirt to cool you down

- The colder seasons will be when he subtly initiates things like pulling you into his arms or leaning against you with his jaw resting on top of your head

- He’ll talk about his next con plan with you if neither of you can sleep late at night, ask for your opinion all that

- I can see Kremy being a guy who’ll absentmindedly play with your hands while cuddling

Gideon Coal

- Gideon is a cuddler 

- Any chance that he gets where everything is calm and the group is finally taking a moment to relax you best bet he’s pulling you into his lap

- This man is the warmest mother fucker alive

- Being a fire genasi he radiates warmth, especially being the big guy that he is, cuddling him 9 times out of 10 will be him laying down with you lying on top with his arms around you

- If you’re around the group he’ll have you with your back against his chest, arms wrapped around you 

- He loves the closeness, being able to whisper in your ear knowing no one else in the group can hear the normally loud genasi

- If the two of you are alone he’s a total tease while cuddling, hands trailing, many many kisses

- He’ll play with your hair (if possible) it’s the most gentle he’s been in a long time 

- On the off chance that you’re taller than Gideon he becomes a flustered mess at being in your arms since he’s larger than everyone 

Morning Frost

- Frost is a multitasker, he’ll already be doing something and then be like “Come here I need attention” 

- Like he’ll be reading some tome or book and have you either sitting or laying in his lap

- One hand on the book and the other one stroking your arm or head respectively

- Pet. His. Ears. 

- He’s so reserved he needs the attention please cuddle him like he is a kitten he will savor every minute of it

- He only really purs when he’s around you and the first time he’s half laying on top of you while you run your hands through his fur

- Will bump his head against you to get you to cuddle closer to him

- Will also rub his face against yours, encouraged by your laughter when his fur and whiskers tickle you 

Gricko Grimgrin

- Gricko’s a small guy, he’s 3’5” and he uses it to his advantage

- He will constantly have you carry him just so he can snuggle against you on your journey

- He’ll talk your ear off if you’ll let him

- Likewise, he’s one to sing quietly to you late at night when you two are settling in and he’s tucked himself into your arms

- He’ll get impossibly close to you like you have 0 personal space in general but when cuddling he has to be touching as much of you as possible to be comfy

- Will just lay on top of you and force you to cuddle with him

- You have to accept the occasional Hootsie guest star when she wedges her way into the mix

- He’s very touchy, he’s hugging your arms close to him, pressing kisses to your face any chance he gets, snuggling into your neck

Torbek

- Please cuddle this guy

- He’ll take anything he can get if it means physical touch

- If by some off chance, you’re taller than him (he’s 7’4”) he’ll love curling up and being held just be mindful of the tubing and witchlight canisters

- He’ll still try to curl into your arms if you’re smaller than him, he’ll try his damndest 

- Will literally cocoon you with his limbs alone like the rest of the group is wondering where the hell you went when you’re just warm as ever in a fur cocoon

- He definitely draws shapes like he has to constantly be doing something to keep his hands busy 

- Cuddling with Torbek after he’s had a bath (let’s be real you hose him down and he then consumes the hose) he’s like a huge soft blanket

- He 100% will just scoop you up whenever he wants to cuddle, long arms means you have to be prepared for anything

- He’s just an anxious bugbear please just cuddle the guy I’m begging

General headcanons for the OUAW crew

I just think they’re neat :) idk what else to call these but general relationship headcanons

Frost 🐅

- rubs his face against you affectionately (his whiskers tickle and he knows, he just likes to mess with you)

- when y’all stand next to each other, he’ll flick you with his tail while pretending he isn’t doing anything.

- when y’all sleep together, he traces shapes into your skin with his claws.

- tigers can’t purr but this is dnd and I can say what I want, so he does purr himself to sleep.

- Makes muffins with his paws in his sleep

- Makes you sit with him when he meditates because he thinks you need it more than he does (but knows you won’t do it if he doesn’t do it with you).

Gricko🦉

- pretends that his index fingers are drumsticks and plays a ‘sick’ drum solo on any table he’s sitting at

- Grickos the type of guy to learn how to braid his s/o’s hair if it was long enough so if you have long hair expect him to pout and complain until you let him braid it.

- pretends to be sick whenever y’all wake up and says that yours and Hootsies love will cure him.

- Secretly loves bumping his nose against yours when you lean in to kiss him.

- When you’re mad at him he’ll sit next to you with Hootsie in his lap and tell her how much he loves you so that you’ll overhear. “And they’re so nice, and they are so talented, and they love me very much even though they’re mad at me :)”

Kremy🐊

- makes you sit with him while he cooks. Even if neither of you are talking he just likes to share the space with you.

- Speaking of the kitchen, it’s his favorite place to dance with you. While he lets his dishes simmer over the stove, he’s laughing and dancing with you.

- You’re his go to taste tester. “Here Cher, is it too spicy?”. Your taste preferences always come first and everyone else knows it.

- Gator courting rituals ❤️❤️❤️ he’s rubbing up against you and bellowing at random.

- Likes to share a nice bath with you and flick you with water with his tail.

- Is cold blooded so as much as he hates to admit it, he loves cuddling with you.

Gideon🔥

- this man loves to puff his chest out and do ��manly’ things for you. “You need help lifting that? Yeah you do give it here >:)”

- Let’s you help him shave, says he can never get a clean cut like you can.

- If you smoke, he gets cocky and shotguns smoke with you.

- When y’all sit next to each other his hand stays planted on your thigh, squeezing and groping at it whenever he catches your eye in conversation.

- Picks you up for no reason. If he’s tired and wants to go to bed he just slings you over his shoulder. If you’re talking to someone else for too long he just picks you up by the waist and give the other person the stink eye for taking your attention.

Torbek🪳🧸

- Needy needy bugbear man

- Yearns to be held at all times. He inches closer to you until you either wrap your arm around him or let him lay his head in your lap.

- Threw clementine away when he realized he loved you “Torbek is sorry about this…”

- He’s a bad kisser but it’s okay cause he’s cute and means well.

- Loves when you bathe with him. He’ll stay soggy forever if it means you’ll play with his fur.

- When you’re not looking Torbek sprays himself down with your perfume so he can smell and be close to you even when you’re not around (he wastes a lot of perfume doing this)
