Taka Honey: is probably one of my favorite and most underrated fics. I poured my heart and soul and a ton of research on Japanese apiculture and historical beekeeping into this fic. Along with a side of historical blacksmithing.

The reason I call this underrated is because there's no shipping, and it's a very introspective piece. But damn did I have fun reading it. I think I dropped some of my references into the notes at the end of the fic, the documentary about beekeeping was super cool because it did link beekeepers and blacksmiths.

Though the funniest thing about this fic is that it all came about because of an omegaverse reference in another fic! I needed a scent for Taka and fell down the rabbit hole of "would it be period for him to want/have fond childhood memories of honey"! I love when strange coincidences lead into something new and fun like that ^_^
