In this article, we'll explore everything you need to know about best German hanger tents and their pricing in India.
What is a German Hanger Tent?
A German hanger tent, also known as an "aircraft hanger tent," is a large and robust temporary structure made from high-quality materials such as galvanized steel or aluminum frames, covered with high quality durable PVC fabric. These tents are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, making them ideal for industrial, Partys, commercial, and large-scale events.
Their versatility, ease of installation, and reusability make them one of the most popular choices for businesses and event organizers.
Key Features of the Best German Hanger Tents

Durability and Strength
The best German hanger tents are designed to be long-lasting. The frames are usually made from heavy-duty galvanized steel or aluminum, which gives them the ability to endure strong winds, heavy rains, and other challenging weather conditions. The PVC fabric used for the covering is also resistant to UV rays, fire, and water, ensuring that your tent remains in good condition for years to come.
Spacious Design
German hanger tents come in a variety of sizes, and one of their primary advantages is the ability to offer large open spaces without the need for internal columns or supports. This makes them perfect for hosting events like weddings, exhibitions, or for storage purposes where unobstructed space is required.
Customizable and Versatile
Whether you need a tent for an event, industrial use, or a temporary warehouse, German hanger tents can be customized to fit your specific needs. They are versatile enough to be used for a wide range of purposes, from weddings and corporate events to emergency shelters and construction sites.

Architectural Marvels: The Engineering Behind German Hanger Structures
German engineering is renowned worldwide for its precision, innovation, and reliability. This reputation extends to the realm of temporary structures, particularly the German hanger structure. These architectural marvels are not only robust and versatile but also aesthetically pleasing, making them ideal for a wide range of applications. In this blog, we delve into the engineering and architectural innovations that underpin these structures, highlighting their strengths and exploring their various uses.
Engineering Precision: The Backbone of German Hanger Structures
At the heart of every German hanger structure lies meticulous engineering. These structures are designed to withstand diverse weather conditions, offering unmatched durability and stability. The framework typically comprises high-strength aluminium, known for its lightweight yet robust properties. This ensures that the structures can be easily transported and assembled without compromising on strength.
The use of tensioned fabric is another key feature. Made from durable PVC-coated polyester, this fabric is both waterproof and UV-resistant, protecting from the elements while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. The tensioning system ensures that the fabric remains taut, eliminating flapping and reducing wear and tear.
Versatility in Design: Meeting Diverse Needs
One of the standout features of a German hanger structure is its versatility. These structures can be customised to suit various applications, from sales lounges, to modular buildings, trade shows, storage facilities, and emergency shelters. The modular design allows for easy expansion or reduction in size, providing a flexible solution that can adapt to changing needs.
A popular variant is the German hanger tent, which combines the structural integrity of a hanger with the aesthetic appeal of a tent. These tents are often used for high-profile events such as weddings, exhibitions, and festivals, where both form and function are paramount. The sleek lines and spacious interiors create a welcoming environment that can be tailored to fit any theme or occasion.
Efficiency and Cost-Effectiveness: German Hanger Rent Services
For many organisations, the option to rent a German hanger structure offers significant benefits. German hanger rent services provide access to these high-quality structures without the need for a large upfront investment. This is particularly advantageous for short-term projects or one-off events, where purchasing a structure outright may not be practical or cost-effective.
Rental services typically include delivery, setup, and dismantling, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The flexibility of rental agreements allows organisations to choose the duration that best suits their needs, from a few days to several months. This makes German hanger rent a popular choice for businesses looking to optimise their resources while still benefiting from premium temporary structures.
Comprehensive German Hanger Services
The success of any temporary structure depends not only on the quality of the product but also on the support services provided. Comprehensive German hanger service packages typically include consultation, customisation, installation, and maintenance. This holistic approach ensures that clients receive a solution tailored to their specific needs, backed by professional expertise and support.
In India, where events and exhibitions are a significant part of the cultural and business landscape, the demand for reliable and aesthetically pleasing temporary structures is high. Companies offering German hanger services in India are well-equipped to meet this demand, providing solutions that adhere to the rigorous standards of German engineering while catering to local requirements.
The engineering and architectural innovations behind German hanger structures make them a top choice for a variety of applications. From the robust framework and tensioned fabric to the versatile designs and cost-effective rental options, these structures offer unparalleled benefits. Whether opting for a German hanger tent for an elegant event or leveraging German hanger rent services for a temporary need, clients can be assured of quality and reliability.
As the demand for flexible, durable, and visually appealing temporary structures continues to grow, German hanger structures stand out as a testament to engineering excellence and architectural innovation. Cargolifter hangar germany
Tumblr media
The first CL 160 airship was never built, though a considerable amount of design and development work was undertaken. After the company went bankrupt, a tropical theme park was opened there. The hangar was also equipped with a 180 m (590 ft) cutting table to manufacture the airship's envelope. The hangar (360 m or 1,180 ft long, 220 m or 720 ft wide and 106 m or 348 ft high), a technological marvel in itself, is a freestanding steel-dome "barrel-bowl" construction large enough to fit the Eiffel Tower on its side, and was featured on the Modern Marvels episode "Hangers". The hangar for production and operation of the CL160 and engineering team facilities were built on the former Soviet Air Force base at Brand-Briesen Airfield, Brandenburg, acquired to enable development and operations. A public stock offering took place in May 2000, and the resulting shareholder structure was characterized by a high proportion of small investors, attracted by substantial press coverage of the new breakthrough technologies being promised. History CompanyĬargolifter AG was created on 1 September 1996 in Wiesbaden, Germany. According to this idea, 1 m3 of helium is able to lift 1 kg of cargo, which means that when giving a large cylinder a special shape, it has a great chance to lift loads weighing hundreds of tons. Ĭargolifter AG was founded by a group of influential engineers and scientists in 1996, and its main goal was to promote airships and develop technologies for their use as a lifting mechanism for transporting heavy and bulky goods to hard-to-reach places. CargoLifter and Russia’s Aerosmena are among those developing huge airships that can lift up to 600 tons of freight while hovering above the ground or sea. KG company seeks to continue selling the lighter-than-air technology. Today, shareholder-founded CL CargoLifter GmbH & Co. The airship was never built and the company went bankrupt in July 2002. This service was based on the development of a heavy lift airship, the CL160, a 550,000 m 3 (19,000,000 cu ft) vessel designed to carry a 160 t (160,000 kg 350,000 lb) payload. Note the three people at the lower left for scaleĬargolifter AG was a German company founded in 1996 to offer logistical services through point-to point transport of heavy and outsized loads. said last month they would explore the development of sophisticated, high-altitude blimps for use in U.S. In its search for a partner, the company and aerospace giant Boeing Co. The company had been heavily subsidized to create jobs in the economically depressed eastern state of Brandenburg and unveiled a huge hangar for the production of airships in November, 2000. The company had failed to find a partner to keep it alive or to present ``reliable evidence about the marketing of the product and corresponding information about the long-term profitability of the company,″ the statement said.Ĭompleting the development of the airship, which would have been able to lift 160 metric tons, would cost as much as 290 million euros ($282 million), the ministry said.ĬargoLifter filed for bankruptcy in June, weeks after saying it was out of money. The heavily subsidized company never built one of the large airships.ĬargoLifter failed ``to correct the mistakes made by the earlier leadership and to win over potential users of the technology for further engagement with CargoLifter,″ the Finance Ministry said in a statement. CargoLifter, in a nod to the past, had sought to develop modern versions of the Zeppelin to move bulky cargo like turbines and oil rigs across long distances. The government’s refusal could signal the beginning of the company’s demise.

Matt’s “Reasonable” Downton Abbey Movie Sequel Pitch
Since I’ve been known to take extreme flights of fancy ... maybe wedding Downton Abbey continuity to Pulp and Classic Adventure stories in the past ... this time I’m gonna pitch something that is plausible on the Silver Screen.
The Summery:
Set in the Mid-1950′s. Lady Mary Talbot hosts a house party at Downton Abbey, like the old days, before the war. However - during the party - a maid is found dead. Miles from competent investigators, Edward Pelham enlists the help of his childhood hero and older cousin, the Earl of Grantham, George Crawley. Once a famed adventurer and war hero - no one has seen or heard from him since the war ended. He has chosen solitude and exile in the seclusion of Crawley House with his young son and his faithful butler Thomas Barrow.
Together, with the help of old friends, the two cousins try to unveil the murderer that is on the loose in Downton Abbey looking to avenge an old sin from the past.
PRINCIPLE RETURNING CAST:
Lady Mary, Lady Edith, and Tom Branson -  Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, and Allen Leech
Tumblr media
Lady Rose Aldridge, “Dowager Countess of Sinderby” - Lily James
Tumblr media
Mrs. Lucy Branson - Tuppence Middleton
Tumblr media
Anna Bates - Joanne Froggett
Tumblr media
Thomas Barrow & Richard Ellis - Richard Collier & Max Brown
Tumblr media
NEW PRINCIPLE CAST
Captain George “The Comet” Crawley, Earl of Grantham - Henry Cavil
youtube
Crippled during battle while Storming an SS held Austrian Castle in May 1945, George Crawley chose seclusion rather than Downton Abbey. For the last ten years he has retreated from the world. Surrounded by Libraries of ancient texts and Medieval Chronicles - glass cases filled with trophies and artifacts from his adventures -  George broods darkly over the death of his men and a betrayal by the one he loved most in Matthew Crawley’s old chair by the fire..
Tumblr media
However, his young idealistic cousin rouses the once heroic and valiant adventurer back to action with the encouragement of his son Jason Crawley and Thomas Barrow, who believe George has sat idle too long and must become the leader and man of action he once was.
Tumblr media
“Well, well, well ... if it isn’t Captain George “The Comet” Crawley himself. The most Dangerous Man in the whole Empire, this one was ... Once.
“Yes, I dare say, and how are you holding up these days, eh, Old Boy?!”
“With a cane.”
Ms. Sybil “Sybbie” Branson - Jessica De Gouw
youtube
A Genius Mechanical Engineer, Sybbie was once the partner and companion of George Crawley on many adventure and stayed by his side throughout the war. However in 1943, during a mission with their SOE Commando Team in Greece, Sybbie Branson turned coat on the Allies and  was revealed to be a Nazi Agent ... Her betrayal caused the unintended death of John “Johnny” Bates Jr.
Captured in Austrian Castle in May of 1945 at great cost in George’s blood and the lives of his men by her fanatical suitor and body guards, Sybbie was tried at Nuremberg for helping design super weapons for the Nazis. However, just before her execution, at the last moment, she was reprieved and recruited by “Operation Paper Clip” ... some believed sparing her life was the last thing George did before going into seclusion.
Tumblr media
Ten years later, Ms. Sybil Darcy splits her time in Hollywood as an Oscar winning actress and a Southern California Military Base where she helps develop rockets for a fledgling American Space Program. It is only by chance that on another guilt ridden drinking binge that she awakens at the doors of Downton Abbey - her childhood home - where her International Playboy fiance was invited to Lady Mary’s House Party.
Tumblr media
“When I’m in his arms all I can think of is home, and when I think of home all I can think of is you. I know what I’ve done is evil and can never be forgiven. And I don’t ask for it from you ... all I ask is that you wait for me ... please, don’t leave me here alone. I don’t remember what this world was like without you in it, And all I know is that I cannot live in such a world. I know you don’t want to hear it, but I love you, and I’ll never stop ... Never.”
Lady Marigold Fraser, “Countess of Tarahill” - Elizabeth Henstridge
During the “Battle of Britain” and “The Blitz” Corporal Marigold Crawley served as a operator and airwoman in the RAF control room. When George and Sybbie’s squadron was sent to break the Siege of Malta and fight in the North Africa Campaign , Marigold would not be left behind. Thus, she resigned commission and became a War Corespondent for her Mamma and Aunt Laura at “The Sketch” - covering George and his men’s exploits from the ‘safety’ of Sybbie’s mechanic’s hanger. Later, during Sybbie’s arch betrayal, Marigold used her media and diplomatic pass as a Marquess’s step-daughter to rescue a hunted George with the help of local resistance. She went on to cover D-Day, Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge while attached to a much darker and violent George and his Commandos,
Tumblr media
Marigold was vaulted as a “Female Pioneer in Journalism”. But falling in Love with a Scottish Colonel in the British Airborne during Market Garden, she chose marriage rather than her career. But 10 years later the call of adventure is stirred in the societal matron’s blood once more upon her reunion with best friend George and a Mystery to solve.
Tumblr media
“Do you ever think of it, George?”
“The war?”
“Would you think me terrible if I told you that I miss it?”
“What particularly do you miss about the Ardennes or Arnhem Bridge?”
“It’s not the places, not the snowy woods all bundled tight together in our freezing foxhole under artillery fire, or escaping Holland on rubber rafts in the middle of the night ... I miss our men, I miss ... waking up in the morning and knowing that we were apart of something, that it was you and me, and the old chaps, against the world ... I miss being useful, George. I guess, I’d rather like to feel that way again.”
Ms. Caroline Talbot - Daisy Ridley
youtube
Beautiful, Spoiled, Clever, Selfish, and Effete, the co-heiress to “Branson & Talbot Motors” has spent her life attempting to get a rise out of her mother. As most desirable of debutantes and Crown Princess of British High Society, Caroline spends her days scheming and contriving against other society girls, of whom she loves to torment. Her nights in nightclubs spent drinking and dancing, waking up in different beds throughout the poshest London Houses.
Tumblr media
She loathes her mother, and blames Henry’s death on George, whose Spitfire shot down the German Bomber that crashed into Henry and Bertie’s train during “The Battle of Britain”. With George and Sybbie having never gotten along with, or been able to stand, Henry - Caroline believes George plotted her father’s death.
However, her arrogance and anger is dropped only in the presence of her best and only true friend, her cousin Edward. The only person in her unhappy life of whom she knows she truly loves.
Tumblr media
“JUST SAY IT, MAMMA! WHY CAN’T YOU SAY IT! Why can’t you just say you didn’t love him! I’m certainly not the first unloved child ever born to a widow looking for a cheap thrill! I guess I owe you enough thanks for at least marrying Daddy!”
“Oh, pipe down, you spoiled little bitch!”
“Shut up, you Nazi whore! You two ran off to have your little adventures and you never stopped to think, just once, about me!”
“Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ! Here we are again! What could you possibly want more of?! Huh? You got everyone’s attention!”
“George, leave it!.”
“No, no more, mom! She got everything I didn’t! She got a mother and father, parents! You left me behind so that you and Henry could start your trendy new fashionable family! You took their side against me! You and Uncle Tom! Just so you can continue to play grab ass with your pathetic little trio! I spent years away from home, Christmases at Aunt Edith’s, all because Henry didn’t want me here! MY OWN HOUSE! And still, after all that, his brat wants more! So, what, Goddamnit!?  What do you want from me, Caroline!?”
“YOU! I wanted my brother! I loved you and I needed you! And you left me with HER!
Lord Edward Robert Pelham, “Marquess of Hexham” - William Moseley
youtube
Upright and just minded, Lord Hexham grew up on the stories of adventure and mystery that his older cousins, George and Sybbie, were famous for. At the death of his father in the war, he looked up to his cousin George as a male role model.
Tumblr media
Thirteen years later, while on break from Oxford - he is not sure what to do with his life. Determined to save his beloved best friend Caroline from a nose dive of alcohol and sex turning into a death spiral, he finds himself at Downton Abbey - a guest of his Aunt Mary - when a murder takes place. But when the Killer leaves a message that it would only be the first. it seems everyone turns to him - as senior peer - for guidance. Unsure what to do, he goes to find his old mentor, George - who has much more experience in this kind of danger and mystery.
Tumblr media
“I don’t know, Marigold ... sometimes I think I’m the wrong man for this job.”
“Nonsense. In fact, rising above the bias of an older sister and the person who helped raise you, I just happen to think you’re the perfect man for the job.”
“I feel ashamed sometimes. There are lads out there that don’t have two pounds in their hands. And here I am, a Marquess, leaving Oxford, to snuggle up to my big sister’s beast, because, I’m frustrated.”
“Well, they are fantastic breasts.”
“I’m serious ... I just, I keep telling Caroline that there’s more in life. But I feel like it’s all just words. Neither Mummy nor Papa were ever so ambitious. And it’s not that I want more power, how could I? It’s just ... I feel like there’s something out there, waiting for me to get into its shouting distance.”
Jason Matthew Crawley, Lord of Downton - Unknown (I don’t know child actors)
youtube
Born in 1944 to an unknown mother of whom George refuses to speak of to anyone. Mary and the rest of the family were shocked and confused to find George return from the war hobbled on a cane and carrying a toddler that was unmistakably his son.
Tumblr media
Ten years later the blue eyed raven curled boy attends the local Downton school, but is often pursued by high ranking academies for his extremely high intellect. But George refuses to entertain sending him away. Spending most days with Mary,Tom, and Edith, the boy is famed around the county for his Holmesian deduction skills ... and aptitude for machinery - which his father refuses to allow him to pursue. Serving as his father and ‘Uncle Edward’s’ assistant while investigating the murder, they find him a much bigger help than they thought possible.
Tumblr media
“You listen to me, Cowboy ... cause I’m only going to tell you once. You stay away from Sybbie, do you understand me?”
“I was just saying that she’s beautiful -”
“Under no circumstance do you go near her or even speak to that woman.”
“But what does a movie star want with me?”
“This conversation is concluded, mind what I say.”
“But, Pop ... wha -?”
“That’s an order, Cowboy.”
“Ye- yes, Sir.”

Madoka Magica Aniversary Analysis: Part2
Hunting for Witches
(here there be spoilers, proceed at your own risk)
We get a quick recap of Mami introducing herself and blowing away Gertrude’s familiars, before cutting to Madoka waking up in bed much like last ep. Only this time Kubey is being a creepy bunnycat like always and is looming over her bed. Cue Connect.
As the two of them are brushing their teeth in their weird giant bathroom Junko chastises Madoka for being late and not checking in with the family. We then cut back to yesterday as Mami leads Madoka and Sayaka back to her house. Honestly I prefer the original broadcast version of Mami’s house it’s emptiness laid the seeds for the reveal of the desperately lonely girl Mami actually was.

(Shaft there was a point where this need to stop and we’ve clearly passed it)
Mami gives them some cake and then gets down to business about this whole magic thing. She starts with the soul gem, the source of a magical girls powers which is created when she forms a contract with Kyubey. Kyubey then lays out the terms in exchange for becoming a magical girl he will grant the subject one wish, according to him anything is on the table. But becoming Meguca has a price, a magical girl must fight Witches.
Back in the present Madoka asks her mom what she would wish for. Junko says she’d oust a couple of board members at her company, maybe the president as well the man is by her account too long in tooth and yet still refuses name a successor. Madoka suggest the she might be the next president and you can almost immediately see the wheels starting to turn in Junko’s head. Madoka watches slightly nonplussed as Junko begins playing her next moves in Game of Thrones: Mitakihara office politics edition.
Tumblr media
(Madoka has no idea the cataclysm her off the cuff statement precipitated)
Hours in the past Sayaka asks what a Witch is and how they are different from magical girls. Kyubey replies (in retrospect very weaselly) that if magical girls are born from wishes than witches are born from curses. In addition Witches can not be seen by normal humans, but none the less prey on them sowing anger and despair. Mami chimes in that many seemly inexplicable murders and suicides are due to witch curses. Sayaka asks why this isn’t common knowlage. The answer Witches hid from humanity in unreal pocket dimensions, the labyrinths.
What happened to the girls earlier is they had wandered into a labyrinth, something that’s usually fatal to ordinary humans. Mami stresses that within the labyrinth even her life is in danger so the two of them ought to weigh their options carefully before making a contract. As tempting as wish might be the price could very well be death. Despite the danger Mami offers them a chance to accompany them on a witch hunt to see what it’s like before they sign up.
As Madoka meets up with her friends on the way to school Sayaka is quick to react to the bunnycat perched on her shoulder. In addition to being invisible to muggles Kuybey also acts as telepathic relay. Though the twos silent conversation give Hitomi the wrong idea
youtube
(this scene became a meme for good reason)
In the classroom Sayaka questions the wisdom of Kyubey coming to school, given the girl who tired to ice him yesterday is in their class. Kyubey says Mami is in telepathic range (prompting her to chime in) and he doesn’t peg Homura as the sort to cause a public disturbance. Homura’s arrival in class triggers another flashback to last evening.
Specifically the part of the conversation were they discuss the transfer student. Mami confirms that she is another magical girl. This confused Sayaka, why would a magical girl attack Madoka, shouldn’t they be allies of justice. Kyubey corrects her Homura was after him, likely to prevent him from making new contracts. Mami explains that conflict among magical girls is a common occurrence. Witch hunting has it’s rewards and sometimes megucas will fight each other to secure them. Sayaka rather astutely connects her interest in Madoka with the presumed desire to keep competitors out of the picture.
This whole cutting between past and present thing might be a little hard to follow in text recap form, but it does us a service by cutting our big exposition dump and giving us time to breath in between segments. This scene tells us everything we need to know about magical girls and witches (or so we think) and even gives us some insight into what Homura is about. After EP 1 left us with nothing but questions EP 2 has given us faith that this show isn’t going to leave us in the dark.
At lunch which Madoka and Sayaka have decided to eat on their schools aesthetic as fvck roof, the two discuss the possibilities of a wish.
Tumblr media
(this school is cursed and I love it)
Sayaka says that as tempting as a wish is she balks at the cost, then laments that most people should have a wish that they would risk their lives for and that neither of them do shows how privileged they are. There is a brief cut who we will later learn is Kyosuke before laments that there are plenty of people in the world who would risk their lives on a wish, so why them.
Before we can get an answer Homura enters the scene. The girls are startled but Mami’s voice chimes in revealing that she’s providing overwatch from a nearby tower. Homura says she’s not here to fight and going after Kyubey again is pointless now that he’s made contact with Madoka. She just want’s to know where the stand re:becoming meguca. She then reminds Madoka of her earlier warning, a warning that hopefully has not fallen on deaf ears. Madoka asks what Homura wished for but only receives a cryptic look.
They ditch Hitomi to go Witch hunting and fail to correct her... assumptions along the way. When the meet up with Mami at the cafe we learn that Sayaka brought a bat, while Madoka brought sketches of magical girl costumes.
Tumblr media
(sketches drawn by her awesome voice actress Yuuki Aoi)
They go back to where Mami fought the familiars so she can pick up the Witches magic trail and track it to her labyrinths new location. As the girls are following the trail we cut to a woman stumbling into an abandoned building, a building that someone wrote a Faust quote on one of the walls in the original German (more on that when do a post on Madok’s Faust references).
Bach with Mami and hangers on we learn she has been systemizing her method of witch hunting, checking the places already prone to violence and accidents that witches tend to frequent. According to her the worst place for a witch to be is a hospital where they can leach the life from those already weakened by illness.
The arrive at the abandoned building just in time for Mami to catch the woman from earlier when she jumps off the roof. Though uninjured the woman is cationic and marked with a strange glyph that Mami identifies as a witches kiss. She lead the two of them into the labyrinth through a portal but not before enchanting Sayaka’s bat. Homura is not far behind.
Mami makes easy work of the familiars and after a series a surreal doors open we reach to core of the labyrinth and meet it’s creator.
Tumblr media
(I’m not sure what people were expecting back in 2011 but I don’t think it was a butterfly rosebush monster)
Gertrude gets her name plastered on the screen in witch runes, setting us up for a boss fight, cue magia. Mami curtsies to the witch causing two of her signature muskets to fall from her skirt. Gerturde throws her sofa at her and the flies through the air to dodge return fair from Mami’s guns. While Mami is focused on the witch herself several small familiars on the ground merge into a giant tendril that takes her off guard and slams her into the wall.
Mami is able to turn the table by conjuring threads from the bullets embedded in the ground to ensnare the witch. She then uses the ribbon of her uniform to cut herself free and then conjures a giant gun with it that blows the witch away.
Tumblr media
(No one else in this show names their attacks, Mami is such a dork)
Mami celebrates with a cup of tea as the barrier dissipates, then picks up a strange black object from the ground. This she tells Madoka, Sayaka, and the audience is a Grief Seed. The Grief Seed is a witches egg and it can be used to cleanse the darkness of a girls soul gem, replenishing her magic. She then tosses it into the darkness only for a previously unseen Homura to catch it. It has one more use which Mami offers to Homura. Homura rebuffs this offer which Mami takes poorly and Sayaka even more poorly. Madoka on the other hand just wants everyone to get along.
With the influence of the witch gone the woman from earlier awakens, and is distraught at what she almost did. Mami comforts the woman telling her it was all a bad dream. The episode ends with Madoka musing that while she has no idea what wish she would stake her life on she admires Mami’s heroism. (cue Mata Ashita)
That’s Episode 2 which I would say is the most fundamental episode for understanding Madoka’s plot. We got a whole lot of exposition dumped, far more than you notice because it’s intercut with slice of life movements and character building. The it was capped off with a cool fight scene.  Everything from here on essentially either confirms or subverts what episode establishes.

The Lady in Black Leather (chapter 8)
The Lady in Black Leather (chapter 7)
You get back to the apartment with Aiden and Scarlett and they let you go off to your room. You sit down on the bed and sigh. It would be easier on you if you just moved in with Richard, but you truly felt you just needed a break from living with men and had a place of your own.
You took off your corset, carefully hanging it up to air out. You decided to get a few more so you weren’t wearing the same two all the time, if your finances allowed it this month. You took off your skinny jeans, socks, underwear and shirt and tossed everything into the laundry basket in the closet. Then you went into the bathroom, let down your hair and climbed into the shower.
You stood there under the warm water thinking about Richard, wondering if he was in his shower right now. You giggled at him calling you addicting. As you washed your hair and showered, you thought about your conversations with him since you met him and how he treated you.
You thought about your conversation with Graham in the bookstore and the car as he drove you to Richard’s place. You suddenly realized there was no way he could’ve gotten to the studio from Richard’s place in the short amount of time there was between you texting Scarlett and you arriving at the studio. You realized that Graham was one of the last people to leave the shop yesterday. You wondered if he knew about Richard’s party, maybe even convinced Richard to have one so they could hook you two up, and had planned with Scarlett to pick you up and take you to the party!
You chuckled, thinking back on all that Graham has said to you. He was always encouraging you to give Richard a chance and to let him date you. Was he trying to set you up with Richard? Was Scarlett and Aiden in on it too? You wondered.
You missed your parents, the way Graham talked to you in the car, reminded you of how your dad and grandpa talked to you. They often didn’t like the men you dated. Would they have liked Richard and his friends if heart attacks and strokes hadn’t claimed their lives? You hoped so.
You realized these friends all were different than what you and Scarlett normally would hang out with. Maybe it was a good thing for the two of you to meet them at the Squawking Raven that night, and maybe it was a good thing Scarlett went home with Aiden. It sure has changed both of your lives for seemingly the better.
You were still thinking about all of this when you got out of the shower and dried off. You wrapped the towel around you and walked into your room to find a box sitting on your bed. You looked around puzzled. Walking over to it you noticed a note.
Opening it, you found a message from Graham.
“Hey, sweetheart. I hope ya had fun at Rich’s party last night. Hope ya don’t mind, but I saw this and thought it would look smashing on ya for maybe a first date with Rich or a special event. He adores ya, Sweetheart. We all do. Enjoy the gift, it’s from all of us. We’re rooting for ya!” - Graham.
You open the box and see a gorgeous black velvet strapless gown with a black and silver brocade underbust corset. You are speechless. It looks like something someone would wear on the red carpet! You pull the dress out of the box and hold it up to you. It is floor length with a small train. Under the dress is a set of beautiful black and silver jewelry: A short collar length necklace with earrings and bracelet and a stunning ring.
You wonder what Graham knows that you don’t. You giggle and try the dress on. It is a little big on you, but you could have it taken in easily enough. You try on the corset and it fits you like a glove. You dance around the room giggling.
When you finally calm down, you put the jewlery in your jewelry box, then carefully put the dress back in the box since it will need to be altered slightly. You look for tags indicating where it was bought, but find none. You run your hand along the velvet and know that if you wear it around Richard, he won’t be able to stop petting you all night long. You grin.
You decide to wear the corset today as a teaser, and to thank Graham for it if you see him. You dig through your clothes and find your other pair of leather pants, the ones that fit a little looser, have cut outs on the lower legs, and are thicker leather. Then you pull out a long sleeve off the shoulder black shirt to put under the corset.
After you get dressed, you carefully comb out and oil your hair and then start to put it into one long five strand braid. You call for Scarlett to help you since you can only reach so far. Aiden follows her into your room and stops dead in his tracks when he sees you standing in front of the mirror in the corset and leather pants.
Scarlett comes over and helps you finish the braid and then helps you weave a silver ribbon through the braid, tying it off at the bottom.
You turn and go to the small jewelry box and dig around for your silver dangly earrings and necklace and put them on.
You turn and ask, “So??? Does this look okay?”
He looks at Scarlett, who is smirking, and he nods, completely at a loss for words.
Scarlett looks down at the box. “I take it you opened the gift?” she asks. You nod. “Yeah. It’s a gorgeous dress and I love the corset and jewelry. I’m gonna need to have the dress altered though, it’s a little big on me.” You say sheepishly.
“Did Graham really get these for me?” you ask with a raised eyebrow.
Scarlet beams, “Yup… with a little help.” She smirks. We were out shopping with him yesterday, since the rest of the guys had to work at the studio doing filming. He mentioned seeing us shopping and how he was trying to hook you and Rich up.” She giggled.
“He said Rich had mentioned wanting to take you to a certain place maybe for a first date if Rich could screw up enough courage to ask you out, and asked me if you had anything fancy to wear for it. I told him no, since we just purged your closet and it would take a while to build it back up. Don’t worry, Sweetheart, I told him you’re on an all black clothing kick lately, but that a splash of color here and there should be considered on special occasions.” She tells you giggling.
Aiden just watches the two of you with a knowing smirk. Trying to gauge your reaction to the very expensive gift. You looked down at the dress again and ran your fingers over the soft velvet.
“If I wear this, Rich will be petting me all night long. He already can’t seem to keep his paws off of me!” you giggle.
Scarlett just chuckles, “Is that a bad thing?” she asks, grinning like a Cheshire cat. You grin mischievously, “It depends.” You say with a wink.
“So where does he want to take me for a first date?” you ask with a raised eyebrow.
Both Aiden and Scarlett grin, “We’re not allowed to tell you. It’s supposed to be a surprise.” They tell you.
You roll your eyes. “Well I guess I had better find a place to have this taken in then, so it is ready whenever he decides to ask me on said date.” You tell them.
They both giggle. “Graham said he’ll take you to have it fitted properly closer to the date. For now, though you should hang it up, so it doesn’t crease, Har.” Scarlett tells you as she pulls it out of the box again. She holds it up to you and grins picturing it on you with the corset. Nodding, she walks into your closet and hangs it up on one of the velvet lined hangers.
“So now what are you going to do?” Aiden asks.
“I think I’ll sit down and figure out my finances now. I have a tentative schedule worked out with Todd, so I can figure out approximately how much take home pay I will be getting each month. He is paying me more than what I had expected, so we’ll see how things turn out.” You tell him.
“Ok, well we were gonna go out for a bit. Are you going to be all right here by yourself?” they ask.
You nod. “Yeah, just make sure you lock the door when you leave.” You tell them.
They nod, “Okay, Harley. Call if you need anything or a ride anywhere.” Aiden tells you.
Then they head out.
You dig around in your stuff till you have all your bills and a notebook. Sitting everything down on the kitchen counter, you sit on the bar stool and start writing down all your bills:
·       Electricity
·       Phone
·       Internet
·       Spotify
·       Hulu
·       Netflix
·       Renter’s insurance
·       Health insurance
·       Hospital bills
·       Clinic bills
·       Food, toiletries
You call the electricity company and ask them to disconnect the power to your old apartment tomorrow morning because you are moving out. You pay the bill and thank them.
Next you look up how much food a dog eats per month. You write it down and then look up how much it will cost for that much dog food each month. You add it to the list of bills. Then you look up costs for stuff like flea and tick meds, heartworm meds, and pet grooming. You add that all to the list as well.
Finally, you factor in the rent for the new place.
It will be tight for a few months, but you think you can swing it on your own if your friends who promised to help with the start up costs for the dog follow through with their promise.
You search online for what breeds of dogs make good guard dogs and look at the pictures.
You like the Akitas, Belgian Malinois, Belgian Sheepdogs, Belgian Tervuren, German Shepherds, and Siberian Huskies.
You text Todd that you would like the apartment, and that you’re meeting Alex at the precinct at 1pm. You tell him you could meet him after that. He tells you he will call the O’Malleys and set up a time with them then call you back.
After talking with Todd, you hang up and then text Richard.
“Um, hi, it’s me, Harley. Would I be able to get a ride to the precinct that Alex works at for 1pm so I can give him my keys? Scarlett and Aiden are out for a bit and I don’t want to bother them. If you can’t that’s ok. I will call a taxi. Let me know.”
He calls you back a minute later and tells you he can give you a ride. You tell him you’re at Aiden’s apartment and he can pick you up there. “Would you want to give me a ride to my new apartment so I can sign the lease too?” you ask shyly.
“Sweetheart, for you, I’d move heaven and earth to help you however you need.” He tells you. You giggle. “Thanks, Rich.” You tell him.
“Let me finish what I’m workin’ on here, and I will be over in about 20 minutes.” He tells you. You thank him again and the two of you hang up.
You text Alex and ask for the address of the Precinct and ask if it is ok if you bring your new boyfriend with. He texts you back “Here’s the address. (insert precinct address). And do I need to run a background check on the guy? 😉 J/k.”
Chuckling, you text back, “Well, It’s Richard Armitage, so I think I’ll be safe with him. 😉 but don’t tell anyone. He likes his privacy and he just asked me to be his girl this morning after he finally worked up the nerve. ***giggles***.”
“Congrats!” he texts back. “I love his acting!” he tells you. “See you two at the precinct. You’re secret is safe with me!” he tells you.
“Thanks Alex. By the way, I’m heading over to sign the lease with the O’Malleys when I get done at the precinct! 😊” you text him.
“Great! Do you just want us to bring your stuff there?” he asks.
“Can we put it in storage till my day off?” you ask. “I’m still trying to get some stuff worked out here on my end.” You ask.
“Sure thing, Harley. Just let us know when you want it moved and the guys said they’ll come move it in for you on their day off.” He texts back.
“ok. Thanks!” you reply.
You are feeling more optimistic now and decide to go to your room and put some makeup on. You do so and add your ylang ylang perfume oil on your neck by your ears and a drop on your wrists. You grin and look at yourself in the mirror. You really like the corset that Graham bought for you and suspect Scarlett helped him pick it out since she knows your sizes.
You get a text a few minutes later that Richard is on his way.
Wandering into the closet, you try to decide which boots you want to wear. You decide to put the knee-high heels on so you’re a little taller standing next to Richard. You wonder if he will like how you look today.
You pick out the high-low jacket with the purple lining once you check the weather on your phone. You don’t want to be caught in the rain, and the app says it’s supposed to be a sunny and nice day, so you pick the high-low jacket.
Digging around in the closet, you find your black messenger bag and transfer your phone charging cords, speakers, phone, wallet and earbuds into it. You take your pouch that you had tied to your corset the other night and put it into the messenger bag as well.
You put your brush, comb, some hair ties and hairpins and your perfume oil into a little container and put it in your bag as well. You make a mental note to get a travel toothbrush, deodorant, container for your hair oil, and travel comb and brush set to keep with you in case you are kidnapped by your friends again and end up stuck at someone’s house overnight.
You chuckle and walk into the living room with your bag and coat just as you hear the doorbell ring. Walking over to the door, you open it and find Richard standing there with a bouquet of flowers. He sees you and gives you a big smile. “Hey, Love, you look amazing this morning!” he tells you as you take the flowers and give him a kiss.”
Tumblr media
He follows you into the kitchen and you dig around for a vase or something to put the flowers in. Richard chuckles and opens up a cabinet on the top side of the fridge that you couldn’t reach and finds a vase for you. “Here, Love.” He tells you as he hands it to you.
Thanking him, you fill it with water and dump the powder packet of plant food in and then cut the flower stems and place them in the vase. “They smell amazing, Richard, thank you!”
You place the flowers on the counter and then notice he has a card for you. He hands it to you, and you read it. You look up at him and try not to cry. “Rich, you’re gonna make me cry and ruin my makeup!” you tell him. He chuckles and says, “Well, it’s a good thing we haven’t left yet then!” he says as he cups your face and gives you a searing kiss.
He pulls you into his arms, holding you close as he kisses you. When you both finally come up for air, he chuckles and tells you he is so happy you agreed to date him and be his girl. He asks you if you got your finances figured out and you nod. You show him your paper and the notes.
He frowns. “It’s gonna be really tight for you, Hun.” He says a little worried. “You sure you want to go this route? My offer still stands.” He says.
“I know, Rich.” You tell him as you snuggle into his arms. “But I’ve lived with someone or another ever since my parents died. I’ve never had a place that is just my own. It is something I need to try once at least. If I need help with bills, I promise I will let someone know.” You tell him.
He hugs you and sighs. “All right, Sweetheart. Now where is this precinct I need to get you to by 1pm?” he asks. You give him the address and he puts it into his phone’s navigation. “Oh! That won’t be too far from here. We have some time yet. Want to go get some lunch?” he asks.
You nod. “Oh, wait, I gotta go get something out of my backpack! I almost forgot about it!” you tell him as you run to your room. You dig in your bag and look for the restraining order. You momentarily panic when you can’t find it, but then check your jacket you wore yesterday and find it in the pocket. You grab the change you forgot to give to Todd as well.
You put the restraining order in your messenger bag’s front pocket and tell Rich it’s there in case anything happens to you. Then you grab a baggie and put Todd’s change from lunch yesterday in it and toss it in the messenger bag as well.
Your phone starts to ring, and you pick it up. You see it’s Todd and he tells you to meet him at the apartment for 2pm. He asks if you need a ride and you tell him, no, you will get a ride there. “I’ll text you the address, so you have it.” He tells you. You thank him and hang up. A moment later you receive the text with the address, and forward it to Richard with a note, “Here is my new address. 😊”
Rich looks down at the text and chuckles. He helps you into your jacket and you sling the messenger bag across your body. “Ready!” you say and give him a hug, pulling him down for a kiss. “Someone’s in a good mood today!” he chuckles. “Mmmmm, you smell divine, Sweetheart! I might have to just kiss you here all day.” He teases.
You chuckle and he nibbles your neck as he backs you to the door casing. You giggle and manage to squeak out, “Rich, we need to go get lunch!”
He looks up from nuzzling your neck and gives you a mischievous look. “I have my lunch right here.” He says and gives you a little squeeze. You squeak and he chuckles.
“Ok, ok. We’ll go get you some food.” He says in a mock offended tone, making you giggle and give him the stink eye.
“Be good or you won’t get your surprise.” You tell him. He raises an eyebrow. You just grin and head for the door. He follows and you both slip out into the hallway. You lock the door and text Scarlet where you’re going, and that Rich is taking you to run some errands.
She replies, “Okay, have fun! 😉”
The two of you walk down to the elevator and wait for it after you push the down button. Rich grabs your hand and intertwines his fingers with yours and kisses the back of your hand.
“Would you like to go look at some potential dogs with me and Graham when we get done with your apartment stuff?” he asks. “I saw you had made a list of some you liked.”
You nod. “Sure, if we have time.” You tell him. He grins and nods. The elevator arrives and whisks you both down to the ground floor and Richard escorts you out to his BMW and the two of you take off.
“Where do you want to go eat at, Love?” he asks. You think for a bit, then grin. “How about we get a pizza, and a bottle of wine and have a picnic by the lake?” you ask.
He looks at you surprised, and you grin. “All right, Love, whatever makes you happy.” He tells you with a chuckle. You look at him for a moment, what would you pick if it was up to you?” you ask, curious.
He grins and says, “That will be a surprise. For now, we’ll get you your pizza and wine.” He smirks.
You raise your eyebrow, but don’t question him further. You look out at the passing scenery and sigh contentedly. He glances over at you then back to the road. He gives your hand a squeeze. “You all right, Love?” he asks after a little bit.
You nod. “I’m just curious. It seems like Graham was having fun playing matchmaker.” You reply as you look over at Richard. He keeps a straight face, despite knowing he asked Graham to do so after hearing him rant about you all afternoon and especially after meeting you at the bar. “Is that so?” he asks. “What makes you say that?” he asks with a raised eyebrow.
“He just encourages me a lot when we talk, and he is always talking about you and how you’d take care of me and would be a great boyfriend for me.” You tell him. “I think he and Scarlett planned to kidnap me after work yesterday so I would have to come to the party. There is no way he could’ve gotten from your place to the studio in the amount of time that lapsed between me texting Scarlett and me arriving.
He was already in the car, and it was parked on the side of the street when I got there with Todd after looking at the apartment. The engine on Graham’s jaguar was cold, so he had been there long enough that the hood was cool to the touch.
Now that I think of it, he had been into my work earlier yesterday afternoon and we had to shoo him out along with a bunch of other guests when we closed.” You tell him as you put your free hand to your chin and rub it, thinking.
Richard glances at you and you see a surprised look on his face.
You grin. “I think he knew about your party and planned to ‘conveniently’ be nearby to pick me up and used Aidens tendency to get hammered as an excuse. I suppose Scarlett texted him where to pick me up and he just went there, parked and read his book till I showed up.” You say.
Richard struggled to keep a straight face, annoyed that you figured out their plot to get you to the party so quickly.
“Is that so?” he replies. “Well, Graham likes you, sweetheart. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had fun meddling like that. He kind of thinks of you as his kid, you know.” He tells you.
You look at Richard in disbelief. “What?”
He grins seeing you thrown off track. “Yup. Scarlett told him you didn’t have any family left so I guess he took it upon himself to take you under his wing and be a father figure.” He chuckles. “He even gave me ‘the talk’ and told me that if I screwed up enough courage to ask you out, that I better be good to you or he’d beat my head in.” Richard chuckles.
You put your head in your hand and groan, making Richard laugh. “Don’t worry, Sweetheart, he is thoroughly enjoying it. He doesn’t get to see his girls very often cuz of his acting. So, let him have his fun. I don’t mind.” Rich tells you.
“All right.” You say as Richard pulls into a pizza place and the two of you get out of his car. You both head into the pizza place and order a medium pepperoni pizza. They tell you it will be ready in about 15 minutes.
Richard asks if there’s a liquor store anywhere nearby and they tell you there’s one a block away. He asks if you want to wait here for the pizza or come with him. You opt to join him, and you pay for the pizza and then tell them you’ll be back in 15 minutes.
Rich ushers you to the car and opens the door for you. You get in and the two of you head for the liquor store. You think about getting wine, then realize that you’re meeting with cops afterward. You mention it to Rich and say, “Maybe we better do something that is not alcoholic this time since we will be meeting with cops and a retired officer and detective.” You suggest. He pulls over and parks on the side of the road.
He smirks and nods. “Yeah, that’s a good idea, now that you mention it. What did you have in mind then?” he asks.
“What kind of pop do you like? I don’t have pop often, but I’d be okay with pop this time.” You tell him.
Chuckling, he says, “I’ll drink almost any pop, sweetheart.”
You grin. “Rootbeer it is then!” and he grins and rolls his eyes. He leans over the center console and grabs your face and kisses you. “You’re just so cute.” He tells you with laughing eyes.
You give him a beaming smile and tell him, “You’re cute too! Sweet cheeks.” You smirk.
You see his ears get pink and he grins and kisses you again. The two of you spend your 15 minute wait for the pizza in the car, kissing and talking. Then he drives back to the pizza shop and you run in while he waits and you grab the pizza, plates, napkins, and buy two 20oz bottles of root beer and head back to the car.
You hand the pizza to him and put the bag with the rest of the stuff on the floor by your feet, and then buckle up. He hands you the pizza back and he pulls out of the parking lot and heads for the lake. The two of you find a nice spot with a picnic table and sit down to eat.
It’s a beautiful day and the two of you have a fun time. Some ducks come over and you toss them the inside part of the crust from your pizza and they happily eat it. Richard takes a couple pictures of you feeding the ducks out of your hand and then the two of you pack up and head back to the car.
He leans against it and pulls you in for a kiss. “That was fun, Sweetheart. We should do this again sometime.” He tells you. You nod.
“Ready to head out?” he asks, as he looks at his watch.
“Yup.” You reply.
He stands up and opens the door for you and helps you in, then closes the door and gets in on his side.
The two of you head over to the precinct and arrive a little before 1pm.

Black Gold (Chapter 2)
(Here’s Chapter 2 of the fic I’m writing! I hope you guys like it!)
The European Union Newsroom; November 6th, 7:39 P.M.
“You better tell us everything we need to know, EU! There are people we care about who could be in grave danger, but you won’t tell us anything about it?!” Germany said angrily, slamming his hands onto the EU’s wooden desk. “You three are the only people who I will not give any information to. I could care less if people you care about are in danger,” the EU replied firmly, looking at the three with his hollow black eyes. “My own grandchildren were involved! Along with my son! How dare you exclude us from this information?!” France shouted, glaring at the EU. “Especially because of you, France. You leak intel to our enemies. You cannot be trusted with such classified information,” the EU said. The UK sighed. “France, let’s go find out ourselves. It’s the only solution. Besides, the EU can’t stop us if we go with our own national passports and not the European Union ones he gave us when we joined this bloody union,” he said, taking his lover’s hand and leading her to their car. The airport was only a few miles away, so it would be a short drive, yet a long flight; 16 long, painstaking hours to be exact. “Shouldn’t Germany come along too?” France asked, looking at the UK. “No. He is needed here. We have to go and find Austria for him just so we can make sure everything is alright.” The UK answered. “Alright. There should be tickets booked for us in the glove box. I booked them earlier since we were planning to visit anyway.” France said.
16 long hours later, and both the UK and France arrive in Yellowstone, Wyoming. “America is waiting for us outside,” the UK said, checking his phone as they left. France looked around and noticed America’s car. “You guys weren’t supposed to come for another month! Why are you here?” America said to his mother. “We heard about the whole incident in Salt Lake Creek. How is Wyoming?” France replied, looking at America.
“She’s fine, but I still didn’t expect you guys to come until Christmas like you normally do,” America said. “Especially since the whole incident could’ve been explained then. But since it’s so recent, and none of us know who made those six OPEC members try to steal oil from me, I can hardly clear anything up.” The UK noticed there were medical supplies in the back of the car. “America, why are there so many supplies back there?” He asked with worry. America fell silent. “I’ll explain when we get to my place. Hop in.”
About an hour and a half later, the UK and France are sitting on the couch with America. “Mind explaining the medical supplies to us now?” France asked her son. America took a deep breath.
“Well, during the incident, as I was trying to reason--”
“You mean to argue, dad?” said Wyoming from the kitchen.
“Like I was saying.. While I was arguing with Saudi Arabia and Russia, there was sudden gunfire. One single shot had been fired, and it got Texas in the leg. He’s fine now, but it was one of the most restless nights of my life. Saudi Arabia said it was him, but I don’t believe it. He was in front of me, not in the East where the bullet came from. So now we don’t know if someone was trying to assassinate me, Texas, or one of the culprits,” America said. “It could’ve been a seventh OPEC member who they made a sniper just in case they got caught,” the UK said. “Maybe,” America replied. “But why Texas? Sure, he has oil, but that doesn’t make him a target. The OPEC organization strictly forbids and foreign oil rigs on U.S Soil... Well, I believe they do anyway.” France then noticed a drop of some kind of substance on the floor. She went to it and kneeled down, picking some up with her fingertip. “France? What did you find?” The UK asked. “I believe it’s some form of cyanide, but I’m not sure,” France replied, taking off the glove she had on. “Let me see it,” America said, taking the glove from France. “Yep. That’s cyanide. A dangerous form of it, too.”
“But who would bring cyanide into a home with over 50 people living inside of it? Wouldn’t that be considered manslaughter? Or mass genocide?” The UK asked, looking at both of them. “It can be in-between,” France replied. “Unless there is no doubt that this was attempted mass genocide. Then again, it could still be a danger. Who knows if we’re standing right next to something that should be killing us right now, but it isn’t.” America tensed a little at the thought of dying and leaving all of his kids behind. Who would take care of them? Canada or Poland? Both, possibly. But if his parents died with him, that would cause a mass panic all across the globe; not just North America and parts of Central America or the Caribbean. “Don’t worry. I’m sure it’ll be fine. Just as long as--” the UK was cut off by Canada suddenly breaking the door down. “Step away from that area! There were signs of a bomb from one of my own satellites right in that place!” Canada said, getting his parents and brother away from that area. “Sorry, America, but I have to break the floorboards open,” Canada then said to his older brother. “Yeah, yeah! Whatever! Just get that bomb out of my house!” America replied, staying near his parents. Canada grabbed a crowbar he brought and forced the floorboards off of the floor. He grabbed the bomb and studied it. He then found the date the bomb was made. “January 1915. The same year dad was bombed about 51 times by the German Empire,” Canada said. “The bomb isn’t going to go off. It’s been deactivated for years now.” The UK looked at America in shock. “Why in Heaven’s name do you have a World War I bomb in your own home?! As a souvenir of all of the people and money I lost?!” He said angrily, clearly upset by the memories. “Or as a reminder that your own father almost died because of that German wanker?!” France grabbed the UK and held him close. “Calm down,” she said. “It’s nothing but a decoy.”
“France, it’s still a bomb from when I almost died! Do you even know how upsetting that is?! What do you expect from me? To be calm about this whole situation?” The UK said, getting out of France’s arms. “You know what? This was a ridiculous reason to even come here. I’m going back to London.”
“But dad--”
“No buts! I’m going home. You can come along if you want to, France. Unless you wish to discuss the raids on London during World War I with our own children.”
France remained silent. She didn’t even look her own husband in the eye as he left. “Kids, you know full well your father cannot handle such sensitive topics. Do not bring that up again. It was nice seeing you, America,” she said as she left with the UK. Canada turned to America. “So what are we going--”
“Leave.”
“What..?”
“Leave, Canada! Don’t come back!”
Canada rushed out immediately. Why was his family suddenly getting torn apart? It was all okay before. Why now? Canada needed to find someone. Someone he knew would be on the other side of the world, and that America nor the rest of his family trusted. He had to find China. He would know exactly what to do.
Beijing, China; 12:35 A.M.
Another day had gone by just like that. China had not expected the days to go by so quickly, but that’s what he got when he was a workaholic and most of the world was against him. Then again, it was nice to come home to friends he lived with due to loneliness. Firstly, there was Mongolia. He was the more peaceful one of the household next to China. Next was Macau; a micronation very few nations even know to exist. He was rather uptight for a small nation, but anyone can get like that when they have not yet been internationally recognized by the United Nations leaders and the UN himself. Finally, there’s Hong Kong. She moved out recently, but before, she was a rather bright and smart girl with a lot of imagination, like the UK.
“Hey, China. What’s with the sad look in your eyes?” Mongolia asked, facing China as he kept making dinner. “What do you mean? I always look like this,” China replied as he opened the door to his room. Mongolia just sighed. “Alright, if you say so,” he said quietly, fixing the apron he had on. China closed the bedroom door behind him and immediately took off his jacket, hanging it on a coat hanger right above his door. He then grabbed out his portfolio and began flipping through the paperwork as he sat on his bed. The paperwork was mainly financial, war strategies, military costs, and a few other things that China despised working on. Especially since the UN leaders piled work on top of work on the poor man. He always kept working though, regardless of what people told him to do. There was a sudden knock on his bedroom door. It sounded rather familiar, but so did most knocks. “Come in,” China said, putting the paperwork away. He then heard the clicking of winter boots and immediately saw the Canadian’s face. “Oh, hello, Canada,” China then said in surprise. He had expected Macau of Mongolia, but not Canada of all people. “Hey, China. Can we talk? It’s about the recent incident that included my brother, my niece, and my nephew,” Canada said softly, looking at China. “Yes, of course,” China said, making room for Canada to sit on the bed. “What happened, if you don’t mind me asking?”
“Well, it started all the way back in Salt Lake Creek, Wyoming, at around midnight. America and Texas were taking shifts guarding the oil rigs and they were on break while some of America’s top guards took their places. While they were talking, Saudi Arabia and Russia were both found listening in for intel. Well, what we believe they were doing at best. Saudi Arabia won’t tell any of us exactly what happened. Four other guards caught Austria, Venezuela, Iran, and Nigeria in the other rooms with their own oil barrels trying to harvest the recently pumped oil. Algeria was supposedly there as well, but no guards found her. They are assuming she was the sniper they hired to try and take out either America or Texas or possibly the other OPEC members if they were ever caught and were forced to give out classified information. Wyoming is still trying to recover her heavy financial loss, but it’s hardly gotten better. Now, I’m one for being optimistic, but this whole situation is even getting me hopeless that there won’t be a possibility of a war or two going on at once,” Canada explained to China. He watched China’s face become terrified to upset as he spoke. “Yeah, I knew you would be upset when you heard that one of your best allies was involved.” China was indeed very upset at Russia. He would have jeopardized his own life by doing such a thing! He has kids! What kind of father would do that?! “I am upset. Russia should not have risked such a horrible thing. Especially when he has kids who look up to him and try to be like him. If they grow up with that image of their father in their head, they will attempt the same thing. So will their kids. And so on,” China said firmly, looking at Canada. He still had a hard time believing it even when he was told by Russia himself that he had attempted it. How could his best ally do this and jeopardize their relationship? Their ties? Unfortunately, China had to find out the hard way when he was suddenly pushed onto a flight to Tokyo, Japan, the very next day.
After a long, grueling flight to Tokyo, China finally reached Khaosan Tokyo Samurai Hotel in the big, technological city he would be staying in. Of course, he hated it. He and Japan had never gotten along, due to their major and minor conflicts in history, and the executions of China’s own people by Japan during the Second World War. He set his suitcase down next to one of the two single beds in the hotel room and sat on the bed. “Well, another day, another stupid conflict you got yourself dragged into, China,” China muttered to himself. As he was making tea, he suddenly got a phone call from an old friend, yet a slight enemy; a frenemy, in better terms. The United States. “Nǐ hǎo?” China asked as he answered the phone. “Hey, China! Old pal! Uhm, do you have any spare planes?” America asked.
“Yes. Why wouldn’t I?”
“Dunno. You seem to loan them to North Korea a lot, even though you constantly barrage his name around the rest of us. Are you two a couple or something?”
China immediately freaked out at that statement. “What?! Are you kidding, Měiguó?! Why would you even assume that?!” China asked in shock.
“Whoa, calm down there, pal. It was just a question. Anyway, I need one of your planes at Yellowstone Regional Airport by next week. If that’s possible.”
“Yes. Yes, of course, that’s possible. By next week works. I’ll be out of Tokyo by then.”
“Wait why are you staying in Tokyo?”
China hung up before he even answered America’s question. Of course, it was only because there was another situation involving China, Japan, and, unfortunately, the Philippines. He wasn’t exactly ready for the meeting. At all. China just went to sleep so he wouldn’t keep himself up all night with his own paranoia.
The next morning, China was suddenly joined by Russia; the same person who was caught red-handed stealing Wyomingite oil from Salt Lake Creek. “Russia,” China greeted his former ally. Russia remained silent for a few moments. “China, I just wanted to apologize--”
“Apologize for what? Breaking and entering? Almost being annexed? Risking our whole relationship? Take your pick, Russia!” China replied firmly, glaring at Russia. He was more upset with the fact that Russia, his own ally, had the audacity to think an apology would just work. “China. Look at me when I say this,” Russia replied. China looked up at Russia, his golden and red eyes staring into Russia’s blue ones. “I’m sorry. For everything,” he said softly. China couldn’t help but forgive Russia. If only he wasn’t so gullible, then maybe this wouldn’t even be the person he was going to marry. “It’s alright,” China said with a sigh. “I forgive you, Rus..” China then noticed Russia was holding two cups of coffee. “Did you get one of those for me like usual?” China asked.
“You read my mind, Chai.”
“Hey, you and I both know only the UK can call me that.”
“Haha! I know. I’m still calling you that regardless. You can’t stop me, Chai.”
China just sighed softly, followed by quiet laughter coming from him. Maybe this was what he really needed: a good laugh. Just once in a while. He didn’t feel like he needed to keep being stressed out, but now with this whole upcoming meeting, he knew that yearn for happiness or just a simple laugh would return quickly as the meeting began.
United Nations Administrative Office, Shibuya-ku, Japan
It was now past midnight when the meeting finally took place. China was sat next to Russia and North Korea, like usual. North Korea wasn’t really allowed inside, but China managed to get him a seat next to him and as far away from South Korea as humanly possible. Along with Japan. The Philippines has sat next to Russia and Vietnam; one seat away from the very person he was enemies with. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, leaders also were forced to attend due to the Philippines’ and Vietnam’s presence in the room. “What seems to be the issue?” The UN asked firmly. “It has been going on for weeks now, and I suspect it has something to do with you two,” he added, shooting a glare at the Philippines and China. “Or possibly you.” Another glare was shot at Russia, along with both Koreas. “Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, what did I do?” South Korea asked when he was glared at. “I only have to come here because North has too as well!”
“Hey! Shut it, you K-Pop addicted, good for nothing, brother!” North Korea said angrily.
“Why don’t you, you closed-off, overly paranoid, maniac?!”
“Quiet! Both of you!” Malaysia said angrily, her voice rising for the first time in a long time anyone had heard it. “We’re already risking war because of Russia’s attempt to steal U.S oil, I’m not going to deal with another Korean War if I don’t have to!” Both Koreans fell silent, still shooting the occasional glares at each other. “As I was saying,” the UN continued, “we need to figure out who is responsible for all of the tension in Southeastern Asia. ASEAN and I have both agreed that we either need to isolate all of Southeast Asia until this issue is resolved, or we shall start closing off trading ports with American, British, French, and even Pakistani items. Make your choice, and choose wisely, or else all of Asia will suffer.” Now, it was up to everyone in that room to figure out what to do next. Only a few people would know exactly what to do, however. Those were the people of the Commonwealth of Nations. They would know exactly how to solve this. If not, the world could stop entirely, economies could collapse within minutes, and many countries could be annexed. It would be a massacre of men, women, children, and most of all… countries, even continents would be devastated.
A/N: Sorry for the really weird formatting! I couldn’t get the darn thing to cooperate with me! I still hope you guys like it!
