A grandmother tells her granddaughters a fairy tale about a little mermaid. The girls don't believe in fairy tales, and then the grandmother tells them a story that really happened to her. Once upon a time, a young journalist, Cam Harrison, went to a traveling circus with his younger sister, Ellie. There they were shown a real mermaid living in a tank of water, and this phenomenon shook their imagination. But they were even more surprised when the little mermaid appeared before them on two legs. Cam and Ellie learn about her fate and the evil wizard who wants to capture her kind heart, and become participants in incredible adventures.

Now that all of our Narnia contenders have been eliminated, I wanted to do something especially fun

We had a lot of submissions for William Mosley and Skandar Keynes in the Narnia films, but we decided not to include them due to their ages at the time of filming. (We chose to include Ben Barnes as Caspian because he was well into adulthood when playing the role.)

But we wanted to do a special poll to include all of them as a celebration of their performances and the massive crushes many of us had on them when we saw the movies as kids and teenagers.
