George Kuffs was a man of many talents. He was a successful businessman, a skilled police officer, and a charming conversationalist. He had always been confident in his abilities, but when he met yn, he felt a new sense of excitement and uncertainty.

Yn was unlike anyone George had ever met. She was intelligent, independent, and had a passion for life that was infectious. From the moment they met, Kuffs was drawn to her. He found himself wanting to spend more and more time with her, to learn everything he could about her.

As they got to know each other better, Kuffs realized that he was falling in love with yn. He had never felt this way before, and it both thrilled and terrified him. He knew that he wanted to be with her, but he wasn't sure if she felt the same way.

One day, Kuffs decided to take a chance and tell yn how he felt. He took her out to a romantic dinner, and as they sat across from each other, he poured out his heart. He told her how much he admired her, how much he enjoyed spending time with her, and how much he loved her.

Yn was surprised but pleased by Kuffs confession. She had always felt a connection with him, but she hadn't been sure if he felt the same way. As they talked, she realized that she had feelings for him too.

From that moment on, Kuffs and yn were inseparable. They spent every moment they could together, exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and just enjoying each other's company. They fell deeper in love with each passing day, and yn knew that he had found the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

In the end, Kuffs proposed to yn, and she said yes. They were married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their friends and family, and they started their new life together as husband and wife.

George knew that he had found his soulmate in yn, and he was grateful every day for the love they shared. He knew that their love would only grow stronger with time, and he looked forward to spending the rest of his life with her.

summary: When reader starts dating George, she also start doubting that he truly loves her for how she is.

a/n: this one was actually an old one shot i did on my old account and i found it again! and since i want to write for christian's characters too, here it the first :)

Your first kiss with George was shared on New Year Eve. You've been dancing around your feelings for a while, and he had decided that at the stroke of midnight he was going to kiss you. And so he did. 

Despite not being the most mature man in the world, he was respectful. He knew how to respect boundaries, and he made sure that you were ok with it. Of course you were, you've liked him since the first day you met. You started dating the morning after, and you could tell he was nervous. "So, uh…" He had begun, looking down at his hands. George Kuffs being nervous was the last thing you ever thought you could have seen and yet there he was, stumbling on his words.

You kept yourself from giggling, knowing it would make him more nervous. "I know we kissed yesterday but, uhm, you know, i wanted to make sure you actually meant it. I mean it's fine if for you it was just a one night thing-" "George we kissed, we didn't have sex." "Still, I didn't just kiss you because 'oh my god it's new year, let's kiss someone!' I-" 

You shut him with a brief kiss. "I know Kuffs. I like you too. A lot." And with that, you started dating. 

It was your one year anniversary that day, and George had spent the night at yours. You were used to waking up sooner than him, and you would usually just stay there and watch him sleep. But this time you woke up in an empty bed, your boyfriend nowhere in sight. "George?" You called for him, not getting any answer back. 

You got up from the bed, opening the door of your room only to be met with a silver plate with a bouquet of flowers and a note on it. 

Morning sweetheart, I'm downstairs making breakfast for you. Leaving the note in case you wake up before I can bring it up ;)

You read the note with a smile on your face. Cutie, you thought, and walked downstairs to the kitchen. There he was, your boyfriend, in all his goofy beautiness. To your eyes he was perfect in any way, even if most of the time he didn’t think so himself. He was proud of the man he had become after his brother's death, but he still had many insecurities about his life. 

Not you though. You were the only thing he was never insecure about and he was sure that he had made the right decision that night he kissed you. Differently from you. It's not like you had regrets about dating him, but you were full of insecurities. Am I beautiful enough? God look at my nose, it's a potato. And my thighs? I'm awful. 

These were only a few of the many thoughts that haunted you every day. You were grateful for having George by your side, but sometimes you couldn’t help but wonder why he was with you. Did he actually find you beautiful like he told you all those times in bed? Or was he just lying?

“Darling? Everything ok?” His voice woke you up from your flows of thoughts. “Yeah, sorry. Morning George.” You shaked your head, joining him in the kitchen. “Morning sweetheart.” He said kissing your cheek. You blushed and looked down at what he was cooking. You raised an eyebrow. “You’re making pancakes?” “Thought you’d enjoy them.” He answered without losing eye contact with the pan. You just nodded, and observed how he prepared breakfast for the both of you.

I love you. Those three words lingering around in the air, terrifying you. You hadn't told each other yet and you were scared that, despite one year of dating, perhaps George wasn’t ready yet. Maybe this was the day? You just needed to find the courage and-

“George what the fuck!” You yelled as soon as the flour he had just thrown at you met your face and hair. You kept your eyes closed, hearing your boyfriend laughing. You scoffed. “It’s not funny.” He just kept laughing, cleaning some of the flour from your face. “Sorry. You just looked lost in your thoughts and I wanted to wake you up. Again.” He grinned, kissing your now white face. You kissed him back, one hand in his hair. As his hands were going on your waist, you pulled his head back just enough to spread the whipped cream on his nose and mouth. 

He freezed in place, as you giggled. “Rude.” He mumbled, licking his lips. You chuckled. “Sorry sweetie. You look adorable though.” He smiled, looking at you as you laughed. My, were you beautiful. The prettiest girl on earth. And right there, as you laughed with that pretty smile on your face, he couldn’t keep himself. “I love you.” You almost immediately stopped laughing, looking him in the eyes. No words were spoken for the following five minutes. Minutes in which George could actually feel his heart coming out of his chest. 

“You, you do?” You finally asked. He smiled and nodded. “Yes, y/n, I do. I love you, so damn much. And it’s ok if you don’t feel ready to say it yet, but I am and I need you to know.” Once again you didn’t immediately answered, but you knew how to. “I love you too George, more than I'd ever admit.” You said, seriously. The smile that had appeared on his lips faltered as he saw you keep speaking. “I just don’t understand how you can love me. I mean look at me, I'm a complete mess. And I'm not talking about the flour.” He understood what you were saying, you had already opened up to him about your overthinking once. 

He didn’t say anything and just hugged you, softly stroking your hair. “I love you because of your voice. It’s so sweet and angelic, I could listen to you talk for hours and never get tired of it. I love you because of your hair, so soft and always perfumed. I love you because of your eyes that I could get lost in. I love you because of your perfect body, that you see as ugy only because someone decided that it is, when it shouldn’t matter because you’re so fucking beautiful and i’m ready to scream it to the world if you need me to.”

At this point you were crying. “That was very cheesy.” You mumbled in his chest. He chuckled. “Yeah, i know. Did it at least help?” You looked up to him not breaking the embrace. You nodded. “It did.” He smiled and kissed you. “Oh, love. You have no idea how beautiful you are to me.” You blushed. “After this speech I may have an idea.” His cheeks turned red similarly to yours. “C’mon, let’s clean this mess so we can eat.” You chuckled. “As you wish, love.”

A/N: sorry to post it like this but you sent a post instead of a question and I couldn’t reply properly anywayss sorry for the delay and enjoy <3 Summary: George kuffs falls for his coworker (reader) and out of luck he gets the perfect opportunity to confess his feelings

“Berkeley alley”

It was a cold morning, the air felt heavy and the trees wouldn’t stop moving along the breeze. I think the mornings are the best part of the day, that’s why I like to walk to work. I think it’s kinda poetic to start the day with your own thoughts and not worrying about traffic or driving. While I’m walking I looked down at my watch just to realized I’m 30 minutes early to work and to not waste those treasured minutes alone I decided to change my path and go to my nearest deli instead, I grab a sandwich from the giant freezer and walk to the register to pay for the food, while searching for my wallet I feel someone tapping my left shoulder. “Hey y/n!“ A pale dark haired man who just happened to be my coworker George Kuffs said with a giant smile decorating his face

I jumped a bit due to the surprise of our encounter “Uh hi, I’m sorry you caught me of guard” I replied.

“I’m sorry I didn’t meant to scare you but I’m glad I found you here, we don’t talk a lot but we can always change that” George said still smiling. “yeah i guess we can” i said while taking my wallet out to pay for my food.

“-Wait let me take care of that” George interrupted me and payed for my things as well as his. “Oh! Thank you but you really didn’t have too and like I was saying I’m sorry for not talking to you I just don’t really know how to start conversations-“

“Y/n im so sorry for interrupting you but we are delaying the line” he said while gently pulling me out of the cashier stand. I laughed “Shit you are right” I said and started walking to the exit

“Look, how about i walk you to work and you tell me about yourself?” George asked or stated actually because he didn’t look like he was looking for an actual answer.

Blushing a little bit I replied “Uh sure, and thanks for the breakfast you truly didn’t have to” to which he replied “I wanted to, I promise” he smiled and walked to the door holding it for me.

We talked all the way to the precinct, he told me about his father and I told him about my anxiety and how I’m having a hard time opening myself to others, he was very understanding and he really seemed to care, almost a little bit too much, it was a nice feeling nonetheless he made me feel heard. We arrived to the precinct and walked through those doors laughing and talking like no one else was there which the captain didn’t quite like because as soon as he saw us all chatty he interrupted us.

“So no only you guys are one hour late but you also walk through those doors acting like this is a park and not a police department. Kuffs I’m not surprised at all but I was expecting more maturity from you y/n” the captain stated with a serious face

“I am so sorry sir” I didn’t even noticed we were late and honestly I do not regret it.

“I wasn’t done.” He continued. “listen we are under employed today and nobody wants to do rounds so how about you two go out and make some rounds around the Berkeley alley just to make sure nothing is happening” the man stated.

Was that supposed to be a punishment? He basically put me and George together in a car for the rest of day. The captain left the room like nothing and when I turn left to see George I see him blushing “So Uh, I guess we are going to spend the rest of the day together” he said awkwardly, I simply replied with a “I guess we are” trying my best to hide my excitement.

I don’t get why George is nervous when he’s not the type of guy who’s awkward and shy around people quite the opposite actually he’s very flirty and direct, that’s one of the reasons I like him, he’s not afraid of being himself even if that means saying embarrassing things or being out of place.

We exit the precinct and walked to the parking lot where there was a bunch of police cars parked.

“Do you mind if I drive?” George asked. “Not at all actually I’m quite a bad driver myself” I replied embarrassed. “Pff bullshit, I have seen you do car persecutions you are probably a better driver than me” he said proudly.

“Just shut up and get in the car” I said surprisingly confident which was weird because I wouldn’t have picture myself saying that to a guy in a lifetime. He nodded, laughed and entered the car.

The first minutes were quiet, the alley we were headed to was known for being a drug exchange place but that was mostly at night and I’m not sure that we will see something interesting at 10am in plain daylight. We parked in a tiny parking lot next to a building where we had a clear view of the spot we were told to watch.

Breaking the silence George asked “Can I tell you a secret?” “Sure” I replied He opened the glove box and I kid you know there was like 20 different snacks just hiding there “It’s my secret stash” he said really proud of himself, It was cute. “You are so weird ” I said laughing.

Opening a bag of chips he said “In my defense I rather eat melted candies than spent a 10 hour shift without eating” “Can I ask what happens when the food gets bad and the car starts to stick?” I asked with a sarcastic tone.

“Well uh I wasn’t aware that could happen” He said laughing We talked for hours and with him it felt like minutes, we joked, ranted, told each other stories, he was the first person I actually felt safe talking too, he didn’t cut me off and he actually listened which sounds like the bare minimum but he actually cared.

The light was starting to fade and the sun started to hide, nothing was going on in the streets so we just relaxed and continued our conversation but George started to get tense, his hands were fidgeting and he look almost sweaty, he cleared his throat and with a serious yet sweet and calming voice he said;

“Can i tell you another secret?“ he said nervously.

“Of course” I replied clueless about where is this conversation going.

taking a big breath George said “I like you, and it’s not just some silly crush I’m being serious I know that you doubt yourself and think that you aren’t good at talking but words can’t explain the way you make me feel, you are a great listener and there’s something about the way you care about others that simply drives me crazy in the best way possible, I know I have this stupid reputation of being flirty with everyone but it’s not like that with you I promise and I wish you could see yourselves the way I do, a smart, funny, very hot individual who makes everyone else’s day better without even noticing it, i know that you might not feel the same way but I’m begging you to give me a chance so I can show you the amazing person you are” George went out of breathe and nervously waited for my answer but I’m speechless, I’m happy and shocked and I can’t put a name to my emotions.

“ I feel the same way about you too but I just felt like it was impossible for you to like me I mean look at you! You are loved by everyone, all of our coworkers have a crush on you and i would never imagined that someone like you could even noticed me” I started rambling worried about him freaking out and changing his mind or regretting saying that he liked me, was that too muvh of a cliche? "popular guy falls for the shy person" and what if my insecurities push him away and he decided im too much of a burden?

for my surprise George did none of that and instead he interrupted me the second time that day but this time with a kiss, a sweet and definitely unforgettable kiss.
