George's flawless execution of 'The Slop' was the height of human culture. It's been all downhill ever since.

George knew how bad the show writers fucked up so he came up and gave us the quote "aegon's doomed, haunted queen and mother to his children" . He wrote them with the intention of being the most tragic duo of the dance and even he couldn't see them being butchers by the writers. Like he literally gave them matching dragons what more do they want and the fact that we have just 1 scene of them together hurts me. He will bring helaegon to justice. He NEEDS to.

" When Prince Daemon sent forth his call to arms, they rose up all along the rivers, knights and men-at-arms and humble peasants who yet remembered the Realm's Delight, so beloved of her father, and the way she smiled and charmed them as she made her progress through the Riverlands in her youth. Hundreds and then thousands buckled on their swordbelts and donned their mail, or grabbed a pitchfork or a hoe and a crude wooden shield, and began to make their way to Harrenhal to fight for Viserys's little girl." — George R.R. Martin; Fire & Blood.

“I see them, Mia! I see them! Over there against the dark, stormy sky. They are all there. The smith and Lisa and the knight and Raval and Jns and Skat. And Death, the severe master, invites them to dance. He tells them to hold each other's hands and then they must tread the dance in a long row. And first goes the master with his scythe and hourglass, but Skat dangles at the end with his lyre. They dance away from the dawn and it's a solemn dance towards the dark lands, while the rain washes their faces and cleans the salt of the tears from their cheeks”. (c) The seventh seal

Macabre - or Dance of Death - an allegory of the frailty of human existence.
In this case I wanted to contrast personified Death with people whose music can rightfully be called the hymn of Life; even if there were disagreements between them, now, when death drags their bodies to the grave, they are equal to each other. But at the same time they are strong and immortal like Life itself

One of the worst parts of the "Aegon the rapist" scenario is that it was just an expository plot device that didn't add anything to the characters or the discourse about sexual harassment:
1) We didn't learn anything about Dyana's personality and how the rape affected her in the long term.
2) We don’t know how she deals with her trauma after the violation.
3) We don't see how other maids reacted when they found out one of their own was assaulted by their powerful boss, and they can be the next target.
4) We don't see how her co-workers or family members reacted to her leaving her job with a bag full of coins. Did they believe her story? Or did they believe she sold herself? How did people's opinions effect her?
All of this is left up to speculation on the part of the audience which is lazy writing on the part of the writers. Not to mention, the framing of the scene makes it clear that the scene was not about the victim. Hell, it wasn't even about the rapist. It was about Alicent and *her* reaction to the rape! And even then, it didn't effect her or her relationship with Aegon in any meaningful way!

Seeing him in this state breaks my heart. His brother shouldn't have done this to him. He did it, and we didn't see the slightest hint of remorse. This situation could cause a conflict among the Greens. Aegon's ribs and everything below them are broken, and the armor he was wearing melted along with his skin due to dragon fire. He won't be able to stand up anymore, and naturally, he won't be able to ride his dragon. His dragon, Sunfyre, is severely injured and won't be able to fly anymore. I expect Aegon to undergo character development after this event. It must be shocking.
