Dear Diary,

Today I met this man. He was one of the 11 harbingers, and amongst them, he was known as The Doctor. The Doctor was unlike the other harbingers, he was what people would call the definition of insane, but in my eyes he was much different. I think he's special, powerful in ways people don't understand, that's what's so fascinating about him. What we see is not who he truly is, there's more to this man than what meets the eye. He's nicer than he seems. He's more of a gentleman than he seems. Likewise, he isn't the insane maniac people describe him to be and one day I hope to see this side of him, whether it be in the many years to come or death I'll wait.

You watched him read this aloud, maybe even a tear fall he didn't know you were standing in the doorway, he would never know you were there anyway you were dead at the end of the day, but at least you saw the side of him you wanted.

Zhongli x reader, Kaeya x reader

Zhongli

The man has been busy for the past months due to people increasing coming over the parlor. Of course you were worried for your dearest.

You tried getting his attention just for him to take a rest seeing his situation gotten worst.

"WOULD YOU STOP ANNOYING ME?! I'M BUSY CANT YOU SEE?!" he shouted.

"Please, dear just take a res-" you tried telling him

"I TOLD YOU TO STOP BEING ANNOYING! I'M BUSY OK?!" he left the house with a thud and never came back since dinner.

You were worried for his health so you brought the meal towards the parlor but as caught on seen.

"Didn't expect Zhongli's lover would be here. Must be my lucky day to kill you right here right now" you didn't have the chance to call out for help due to the napkin covered.

And there your life ended...

A traveler soon noticed your bloodied body and brought you towards a healer.

The news spreaded that someone was killed again. Of course zhongli heard it from the parlor.

As soon as he went inside the office. Childe went to his office and tell something.

"Mr. Zhongli? Can I have your time for a moment?" he asked as he sat down.

"Go ahead, I have some time" he stated placing a tea.

"About (name)... -" he stated. "What about them? Don't tell me they told you to tell me they need attention?" he raged.

"No... It's.. About the murder last night.. (name) was the victim..."

The room went silent. Zhongli processing the words Childe left out. Impossible. You were at home right?.. You were??

Childe placed a food box. "They were probably trying to give this to you last night. Seeing your situation.. they’re worried..."

All because of his messy schedule, the lover he swore to be with til the end left..

He gulped.

"W-where are they..now?" he asked. Desperate enough to think you're still alive

“They’re..they’re not with us anymore..”

The home he will expect to go that was filled with love and care from you will be now dark and gray....

He took the chance to take in charge with your funeral. A way to see you one last time. Give the attention you deserve after the neglections..

Kaeya

The captain has been busy for the past months due to the workloads increasing. You are worried for his health so you took the chance to ask the knights about his health. 

“Kaeya, dear, please take atleast a short nap. Your body is starting to get fatigued,” you tried catching his attention.

Kaeya having problems now with his system he misunderstood you as if you want his attention and leave his work behind.

Are you really desperate for his attention that you want him to stop from his work? Oh he didn’t accept it. He slapped your face.

They were also worried for the captain seeing he started to overwork and rarely goes out in his office.

“Can’t you see I’m working hard for both of us and the city? DO YOU WANT US TO BE ATTACKED BECAUSE OF THIS ATTENTION YOU WANTED FOR WEEKS??!” 

“Kaey-” he slapped you again. 

“STOP. IF YOU WANT ATTENTION GO LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE” he shouted. He walked out and went towards the HQ planning to sleep there.

You thought he was stressed and just want some fresh air so you placed the meal inside the fridge and planned to end the day tonight.

You didn’t know that the treasure hoarders are attacking houses outside the city knowing knights rarely checks outside.

Your shared home was outside the city.

The house was big enough to fit some people and there you were ambushed.

People started to report and attack and called the knights for help. Seeing a fire is starting to grow and knowing it was the house the captain lives in called him.

Kaeya hearing the news ran as fast as he could thinking of your safety.

Seeing the people trying to stop the fire, he started looking for your figure...You’re probably far removing the smoke from your lungs.

“HEY I FOUND SOMEONE INSIDE? THEY’RE DYING CALL A HEALER!!” he heard someone shouted. He ran back towards the person and there he saw you bruised and burnt.

Weak and fragile....hand prints from the slapped and the ambushed..

“name..?” he called out.

“Hey it’s me..wake up now..you’re out from the fire..” his breath hitched. You aren’t responding. People started to look a nearby healer just to save you. A commoner who saved and helped people is dying. And everyone tried to save you.

But..you gave up...

You dropped your bags in disbelief, when you saw your lover with a woman you didn’t know. Your bag making a loud sound from all of the things inside.

“Ajax, what the hell..”

“Hm? Ajax? Who’s that? There’s no one except...”

You glared at her before she could continue.

“She doesn’t even know your name..! And yet you decided to choose...her. Over your 7 year lover.”

But I can’t control just what you do.

And I hope to god that you leave me soon.

“So now you’re saying it’s my fault that I left?!”

“You left! You! Left! Didn’t you even think about me before accepting the offer?! Or the future of us! You know, this is why I picked her, she atleast had some time for me.”

As if sensing you didn’t want to talk about it anymore, Xiao just kept silent and urged you to follow him. You obliged and follow him to the docks of Liyue Harbor.

“I have other things to do. Zhongli will send you off from here on.........Come back soon alright? We have lots of things to still talk about.”

You nodded at him and walk past him seeing a waving Zhongli. You gave a small wave back.

And you just forget that we ever met.

“He’s acting like he doesn’t know you....Even the girl. What happened?”

You and Zhongli saw Ajax along with his girlfriend at the dock, near where you both are. As he took one glance at you, he immediately looked back to his girlfriend. Which wasn’t you. Along with his girlfriend who looked at him, then you. But she also quickly looked away. Ajax just hugged the other girl’s waist and they walked away.

“Truly shameless. And infront of his lover too.”

“Ah uhm- former, lover.”

Emphasizing the word, former.

“You guys broke up?”

Zhongli asked with his eyebrows raised.

“Not exactly but, close enough.”

But before you forget, there’s just something I have to say.

You tried the whole day to talk him. Trying to inform him of your departure in a few hours, but, again, he ignored you to his fullest. Just like the last time, but in a different situation. Well, his loss, his fault. You were leaving so why did you need to care about him anyways.

I’m sick of your voice.

You put your other hand which wasn’t holding your friend’s on your forehead. Trying to lessen the pain.

“Are you alright? We can go back now if it’s too hot.”

Your friend, Kujo/Kujou Sara, asked worried. You just waved it off and told her you were fine.

But that headache of a man could no longer be remembered right at the moment you touched your forehead.

------❆------ The sprawling black clouds were illuminated by  bolts of lightning. Boughs of trees fell to the ground. It seemed as though the Anemo God had been enraged, as the air blew with the force of a thousand winds. The rain fell like small bullets, mixing with Lumine’s tears. She straddled him, holding her sword to his neck. 

Don’t hesitate. Lumine thought to herself. Don’t back out again. “Didn’t you say you felt something special between us?” She asked him, tears rolling down her cheeks. “I did say that.” Childe replied with a smirk. He was well aware that Lumine had the power to snatch his life from him within that moment. “Then why? Why would you take everything from me,” she cried. “You lied to me. You deceived me.” “I told you, Ojou-chan, I’m a pretty bad guy,” he said with a laugh. “I hate you. You’re a monster,” Lumine couldn’t believe the words that were coming out of her mouth. This was once the man that she was ready to devote her life to. She had known that her involvement with a Fatui Harbinger was risky, but her love for him was deep enough to have no boundaries. Lumine trusted Childe, and now she was suffering the consequences. She raised her sword above her head, getting ready to strike down at any moment. “Go ahead. Kill me.”

Despite Childe’s bloodlust and thirst for chaos, Lumine could tell that his serene blue eyes held innocence in them. Yet she knew that the man she loved was not the same as the man who she was about to kill. “Do it Lumine,” Childe growled once again. Why Childe? Lumine thought. Why is discord the only thing that satisfies you? Why do you crave blood? Why haven’t I killed you yet? Why... … Why do I still love you? Lumine dropped her sword next to Childe, and leaned in to kiss him. She wrapped her arms behind his neck, forcing them closer and leaving no space in between their bodies. All time seemed to freeze. Childe wrapped his arms around her; they fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. Her heart raced as she thought about how she wanted to be with him. Lumine wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. She wanted to die in his arms. As Lumine pulled back and looked into Childe’s eyes, he said, “You have terrible taste in men, Ojou-chan.”

As the rain fell harder, I ran faster. Blades of water impaled my skin as I sprinted with even more speed that before whilst still being cautious of the wet ground beneath me.

I finally reached my home to hear talking coming from the inside, it was Scaramouche. You step inside your shared abode and find him talking to himself, he was mumbling pretty much inaudible but you where able to make out one word that he repeated over and over again, 'Why'.

Puzzled, you sat down next to him on the silk couch, he didn't seem to acknowledge your presence at all 'Scara? Are you alright?'

No reply.

Annoyed you spoke again, 'Scara I asked if you were alright!'

Still no reply.

You were about to speak again when you noticed he was holding something, it was a picture, a picture of you. Why? He spoke.. 'You didn't deserve this..' This confused you.

'You didn't deserve to die...

this is so short its sad but whatever
