⊹ ‧₊˚ ᰔ synopsis. breaking up because he wants to keep you safe, right person wrong time, cw. angst, he's lying to you, break up, mentions of death, gn! reader
what if childe doesn't want to break up with you, yet he's also aware that someone being close to a harbinger was way too dangerous, keeping you as his significant other would be a death sentence for you— his enemies are countless, he doesn't fear them but you should. what if he cannot protect you? aside from that, even within the fatui, he cannot trust a single individual.
who knows if somebody was actually able to find out about your secret relationship and use it in order to force childe into doing something? blackmail him or threatening to hurt you if he doesn't comply? can he even come to your rescue then? just thinking about you dying in front of him makes him want to fall asleep and never wake up.
after he went through those multiple concerns spreading inside his head, trying his hardest to find a solution, or, an answer. childe ultimately decided to break up with you— of course, in order to protect you.
but what's worse than that is that the harbinger was aware that, if he was to say it's due to "keeping you safe" you wouldn't accept it and would probably change his mind.
the thought alone of you looking at him with those eyes of yours, with droplets of tears hanging from your lashes, childe would fall to his knees immediately and admit defeat.
what does he do then?
you see, he's lying, lying that he's fallen out of love with you, that there was someone else he's fallen for yet that person wasn't you anymore.
he doesn't feel anything when he looks at you. no love, no future, he doesn't want to touch nor feel you, hear or see you.
saying those words out loud, precisely to your face actually broke his heart into a million pieces.
childe thinks he's numb now, and his colleagues were already talking about how weidly ruthless he's gotten over the past weeks— more pitiless and bloodthirsty than before, like he's lost a part of himself after he's lost you, after he pretended like he cheated on you so you would let him go.
childe doesn't care anymore, you were the one reminding him of his humanity, but with you gone, what even was humanity to him?
he doesn't mind that you hate him now, to him it means that you'll never come anywhere near him anymore, he's succeeded with his plan on keeping you protected from harm— meaning, that you're finally safe now.

She Scratched F/N's Face, But F/N's Boyfriend Yelled: "She's dying! Why Are You Still Holding A Grudge?"
Warning: Anti-Sethos, Angst, Modern AU
Trigger warning: Cheating
Sethos was extremely annoyed by his childhood friend, but ever since she attempted suicide, he has changed and becoming overly indulgent with her.
Even when she scratched F/N's face, he just shielded her behind him, saying, “She's almost dying. Why are you still arguing with her?”
So, F/N stopped arguing and quietly left his world; until one late night, Sethos saw his most powerful senior in the circle publicly announce his relationship. F/N was wearing a well-tailored man's shirt, nestled in the arms of a tall and handsome man and kissing the side of his face.
That night, it was pouring rain; Sethos, however, went crazy and came banging on his door. “Ghāli (my precious), I know you're doing this to spite me. Come out, let's talk.”
Sethos had an annoying childhood friend.
Every time he and F/N went out on a date, she always tried to tag along and this irritated him to no end.
One day, he and F/N went to see a newly released movie.
Along the way, Dalilah had already called three times to bother them and Sethos didn't hesitated to block her on WeTalk.
He rubbed F/N's head and said, “Don't worry, I have a girlfriend. I must keep a distance from any childhood friends.” as soon as the movie ended, an unknown number called him.
When he answered, it was that haunting voice of his childhood friend, Dalilah, again. “Sethos, where are you?”
“I told you I'm on a date with my girlfriend.” Sethos answered. “Stop calling me. Don't you understand human language?”
Her voice was thick with sobs. “Wait, don't hang up. I really have something important to tell you.”
Sethos hesitated for a moment, but still hung up; his brows furrowed tightly, as if something was bothering him.
“You seem distracted.” F/N noted. “Are you really worried about her?”
Sethos was stunned, but lowered his head and kissed F/N's forehead. “Why would I worry about her? Don't worry about her; she 's a psycho. Let's continue our date.”
It was nine in the evening and there was a fireworks show by the moat and F/N was in Sethos' arms, taking pictures. Before she could snap a few, Sethos' phone started vibrating in his pocket again. This time, it was Dalilah's mother calling.
F/N didn't know what was said on the other end, but Sethos' pupils contracted suddenly and his face turned pale. “Okay, Auntie. I'll be there right away. Dalilah attempted suicide.” he explained. “I have to go to the hospital now.”
“She tried to kill herself?” F/N echoed. “Just because you didn't answer her calls and ignored her? That's a bit extreme.”
Sethos irritably ran his hands through his hair. “I don't know. But either way, I need to go. Do you want to come with me?”
Though F/N was reluctant, she was also quite curious as to what new trick would Dalilah pull this time.
As they pushed open the hospital room door, they saw Dalilah with red-rimmed eyes, a bandage wrapped around her wrist and struggling to sit up. “Sethos, you're finally here...”
Then, the moment Sethos approached her bed, she hugged him. “I knew you cared about me.” and the scene made F/N very uncomfortable.
Sethos didn't push Dalilah away as he sighed in frustration. “Dalilah, do you realize how unreasonable you're being? Attempting suicide over me is a childish act.”
“I'm not doing this over you.” Dalilah sniffled. “I...” as she spoke, her already swollen eyes filled with tears again and she timidly looked at F/N. “Could you please step out for a moment? I only want to tell him.”
Ten minutes later, Sethos came out of the hospital room, looking very serious.
“Are you guys done talking?” F/N asked, uninterestedly. It wasn't F/N was cold-hearted; it was just that Dalilah's incessant calls and deliberate harassment had completely eroded any goodwill F/N had towards her. Not to mention, the first time Sethos introduced F/N to Dalilah, she greeted F/N with a bright smile and a handshake, but secretly squeezed F/N's hand as hard as she could. Such petty tricks was beyond childish.
“Dalilah has stomach cancer.” Sethos suddenly said. “The reason she attempted suicide was that she felt like a burden. It's all my fault. If only I had answered her calls, she could have someone to talk to. She's from a single-parent family, and if it weren't for me, she wouldn't have felt so hopeless; so much so that she thought of herself as a burden and tried to kill herself. Dalilah has relied on me since she was a child; she sees me as her brother. And what do I do? After getting together with you, I stopped caring about her.”
“I see...” F/N muttered, her heart slowly turned cold.
Dalilah's delicate voice came through. “Sethos, can you stay with me tonight? I'm really not trying to bother you. It's just... my mom. She has to work the night shift at the supermarket, so she can't be here.”
“I'll stay with you.” Sethos relented. “I won't go anywhere.”
Without a word, F/N left the hospital before it started pouring and made a call to Kinich, one of Sethos' university seniors and currently one of most eligible bachelors in Teyvat's elite circles.
Sethos always told F/N that Kinich was a notorious playboy, but he had told her with certainty, “Kinich may be carefree most of the time, but when it comes to important matters, he's reliable.”
Kinich arrived faster than F/N expected. “F/N?”
“Yes.” F/N nodded. “Sorry to trouble you tonight.”
“No need for that.” Kinich chuckled softly.
F/N went back to the hospital room to find Sethos.
Dalilah was clinging tightly to his arm. When she saw F/N enter, she smiled, “F/N, you haven't left yet?”
F/N simply ignored her and turned to Sethos. “I've already called Kinich to take me home. Take as long as you want to take care of her. Until then, don't bother contacting me.”
Not long after F/N got home, she received a call from Sethos, informing her that he would not be returning that night as Dalilah had no one to take care of her and he was worried.
F/N then checked Dalilah's WeTalk Moments and was not surprised to see a photo of Sethos sleeping beside her hospital bed with that caption 'Nothing compares to your company.'
A few days later, Dalilah was discharged from the hospital; according to her, she was already in the late stages of stomach cancer and the doctors advised her to stop treatment, saying she should just eat and drink whatever she wanted. Because of this, Sethos turned down a significant portion of his work and said he wanted to spend her remaining days with her.
At first, F/N tolerated it, considering the dying deserve respect. But she soon realized what Dalilah wanted was all of Sethos' free time. Several times, while she and Sethos were having a meal together, Dalilah would call and he would leave immediately. He would hurriedly apologize to F/N and then leave her sitting alone.
After it happened a few times, F/N confronted Sethos. “She has so little time left. Wouldn't it better for her to spend it with her family?”
“Her family doesn't care for her.” Sethos explained. “She's from a single-parent family. I thought you could understand...”
“It's fine if you accompany her occasionally.” F/N spat. “But you don't have to be at her beck and call like a nanny. Can't you maintain some distance?”
“She's a little sister I've watched grow up.” Sethos protested. “And now she has stomach cancer and needs someone with her. Forget it. I don't want to argue with you. Just don't start a fight.”
“That's your problem.” F/N responded. “Don't put it on me.”
“I really don't know what to do.” Sethos ran his hands in his hair in frustration. “F/N, can you please try to understand? It's just for a month or two, I swear. I only see her as a sister.”
“I don't want to deal with this.” F/N was also frustrated. “If you want to be with her, then go ahead. Don't bother informing me.”
That Saturday, F/N received a call from Sethos, “Didn't you say you want to go to Disneyland? Dalilah also said she wants to go. Do you want to join us? If you're coming, I'll buy an extra ticket.”
“I'm not going.” F/N bit back her anger. “I have a baking lesson later this morning. Besides, who goes to Disneyland and brings along a 'little sister'?”
At that moment, F/N heard Dalilah's pitiful voice on the other end. “Is it because F/N is prejudiced against me that she doesn't want to go? Or maybe she's uncomfortable with my illness...”
“It's not prejudice.” Sethos assured. “It's just that you kept calling me back then, so it's natural for her to be suspicious.”
Dalilah, sounding a little more aggrieved, said, “Forget it, Sethos. I know whatever I say won't matter. Maybe it's better if the two of you just go. After all, I'm on this condition. You don't have to worry about my feelings.”
Hearing that, Sethos once again felt like the worst person in the world. “Don't say things like that. I can always take F/N another time, but I need to be there for you.”
At that, F/N wordlessly hung up the phone, not wanting to hear anymore of their back-and-forth through her phone.
That evening, F/N saw Dalilah's latest post: a grid of nine photos. In almost every one, she was holding onto his arm, her head resting on his shoulder. They looked just like a couple deeply in love. Her caption read: 'You're always the best to me.' and in the comments, she added, 'Don't jump to conclusions, everyone. This isn't an official announcement, this is just my childhood sweetheart. But the person taking our pictures at Disneyland today said we look so perfect together.'
F/N deleted Dalilah from her WeTalk friend list without hesitation.
At the beginning of the year, Sethos bought a car and promised he would pick F/N up from work every day. But he wasn't come even once lately and F/N's nosy coworkers had been subtly asking if they had broken up. F/N's reply was only two words, “Almost there.'
After the sadness, all that was left was a growing pile of disappointment. But in the end, wasn't that exactly what Dalilah wanted? But F/N was determined not to let Dalilah have her way so easily.
At this moment, the notification alarm from F/N's WeTalk sounded; it was a voice message from Kinich. 'Have you had dinner? I don't know how to cook.'
'Not yet.' F/N typed in her reply. 'I'm basting salmon to eat with rice.'
'If you're home, I'll come over with some ingredients from the prime market.' Kinich typed back. 'I really want to taste your cooking.'
Kinich arrived quickly, carrying a bag of groceries.
Sethos sent F/N a message just as Kinich and F/N were about tuck into some vegetarian pasta bake. “Spent the whole day at Disney yesterday. I'm exhausted. Came back and crashed on the bed. What are you up to? You're not mad, right?'
'Let's break up.' F/N typed back quickly. 'Don't bother coming to pick me up from work tomorrow. That's Kinich's job now.'
“What's up?” Kinich swallowed his mushroom pasta bake.
“Nothing.” F/N put her phone aside. “Just broke up with someone. Dad was right; I have really bad taste in boyfriends.”
“Boyfriends are something you fun for fun.” Kinich took a sip of his grape raspberry sparkling water. “But husbands are different, especially someone like Sethos. It's good you broke up sooner rather than later.”
“But isn't that how you treat women, too?” F/N asked, drinking her pink grapefruit sparkling water.
“No,” Kinich replied. “How did that saying go? 'A man who doesn't respect himself is like a rotten cucumber.' So, don't misunderstand me.”
The next day after work, a colleague came up to F/N and said, “Oh my Archons, there's a super handsome guy downstairs at the office building. My heart is fluttering and I'm a married woman.”
“How handsome?” F/N was waiting for her computer to shut down.
“Extremely handsome.” the colleague continued to gush. “He's several times more handsome than your boyfriend. But I bet he's here to pick up his girlfriend.” she then showed F/N a picture she had secretly taken and F/N instantly recognized it was Kinich.
When F/N exited the lift, she walked up to Kinich waiting in the lobby. Without saying anything, she latched onto his arm and the pair left the office building.
There were a few messages from Sethos after F/N sent the breakup message the previous day, but F/N hadn't responded. 'Weren't we supposed to never say the word 'breakup' so casually? I know you're just being a little moody, but I absolutely won't agree to breaking up. Please don't ignore me on WeTalk. I know you're mad at me, mad that I didn't keep my promise to pick you up after work.' then, he sent a bunch of 'I love you' stickers.
'As long as you are happy, I'm fine with it.' F/N typed a reply back.
In the days that followed, Kinich came to pick F/N up punctually every day and took her out dinner. Meanwhile, Sethos seemed to have disappeared from the face of the Teyvat, but F/N couldn't be bothered to check up on him anymore.
Until more than half a month later, on the night of F/N's birthday, Sethos suddenly appeared at her door. He was holding a cantaloupe in his left hand and a birthday cake in his right. He smiled and said, “if you don't open the door soon, the property management might kick me out.”
After putting the things down, Sethos immediately tried to hug F/N, only to have her push him away coldly. “My colleagues already celebrated with me at work today.”
“Don't be so stubborn.” Sethos chided. “Colleagues can't compare to a boyfriend. Honestly, it's been my fault these past few weeks for not coming to see you. I actually wanted to wait for your birthday to make up to you. Did you really think I forgot your birthday?”
“Don't give me that.” F/N retorted. “Aren't you going to spend time with your 'good sister'?”
“I'm not spending time with her because...” Sethos paused for a moment. “She's here to celebrate your birthday with me. I think there's been some misunderstanding between you two and I wanted to use this opportunity to clear this up.”
Even before F/N could react, the next second Dalilah jumped in from outside, “F/N, happy birthday.” and the party popper in her hand exploded, scattering confetti all over the floor.
F/N bit back a sigh; since Dalilah wanted to put on a show, she'd play along for one last time.
“I know you have some misunderstandings about me.” Dalilah simpered. “You're the person Sethos loves the most and I feel so bad for taking up his time for so long. I'm sorry.” tears began to well up in her eyes.
Sethos, standing nearby, immediately pulled out a tissue and started wiping her tears. “Don't cry, Dalilah. F/N isn't someone who can't be reasoned with.”
Seeing that F/N had crossed her arms and watching her silently, Dalilah realized F/N wasn't moved. She continued, “After I leave, it'll just be you and Sethos together.”
“That's enough.” F/N cut Dalilah off. “Today is my birthday, not your apology session.”
“Why don't you guys work on the cake?” Sethos suggested, moved by Dalilah's tears. “I'll go cut the cantaloupe.”
“I'll cut the cake.” Dalilah spoke.
“No need.” F/N interrupted. “I'll do it myself.”
“F/N, just let me cut it.” Dalilah pouted. “Or are you really going to be so unforgiving even after I've just apologized?”
“Stop pretending.” F/N snarled. “Isn't it tiring to squeeze out those tears? How much is your apology worth anyway? Do you want to cut even our wedding cake?”
Dalilah's expression changed. “So what, F/N? You know Sethos can't see stand to see me cry. If I throw a tantrum at your wedding, he'll let me cut the wedding cake.” with a proud huff, she squatted by the coffee table. “If you don't let me join you two, then I insist on joining. If you don't let cut your birthday cake and your wedding cake, then I insist on cutting them.”
But just as she was about to grab the plastic knife to cut the cake, F/N was a second faster and snatched the knife.
Dalilah just dropped her previous frail act and behaved like a madwoman, snatching the knife back and giving F/N a cut on her face.
F/N retaliated by slapping the smug Dalilah across the face. “You must have brain cancer, not stomach cancer.”
“What happened?” Sethos hurriedly walked into the scene and saw Dalilah's tears, big as beads, were falling like a broken string of pearls. She was covering the side of her cheek where F/N had slapped her and wailed, “Sethos, I accidentally scratched F/N's face. I'm so sorry.”
“Can you stop crying every time something happens?” F/N stormed over and grabbed Dalilah by the collar. “Stand up and explain yourself.
“That's enough, F/N.” Sethos suddenly shouted and immediately shielded Dalilah behind him. “She's almost dying and you're still arguing with her? The doctors said she can't be upset. Do you know how little time she has left?” he shook his head in disappointment. “You're making a big deal out of a tiny cut on your chin. Is that really more important than her life?”
“Tell me, Sethos.” F/N voice calmly. “If Dalilah were to throw a tantrum and cry at our wedding, would you let her cut the wedding cake?”
“That's...” Sethos blinked.
“Get out.” F/N snarled. “We're done.”
“Fine.” Sethos spat coldly. “We're done. If you hadn't said it, I would have.”
'It's done.' F/N sent a message to Kinich.
“Who hurt your face?” Kinich quickly arrived at F/N's apartment, his usual smile furrowed into a frown. “Sethos? Or that female friend of his?”
After F/N related what had happened, Kinich proceeded to disinfect the cut. “That trash isn't worthy of you.” he then took a phone call and went to the door to retrieve a box of cupcakes with frosting and a bouquet of F/N's favourite tulips. “Congratulations on getting rid that that trash today. Happy birthday.”
Meanwhile, Sethos brought Dalilah back to his place and comforted her for a while.
Dalilah said, “Sethos, maybe I should go down and apologize to F/N. I feel like she's really upset.”
“You didn't do it on propose, yet she slapped you.” Sethos soothed. “She really went too far this time.”
It was midnight; after calming Dalilah down and getting her to sleep in the guest room, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Still angry, Sethos walked to the entrance, only to be met with a punch to the face once he opened the door. Wincing in pain, Sethos finally saw the furious man in front of him; Kinich. “What's wrong with you? What did I do to you?”
“Do you even realize what you've done?” Kinich snapped and landed two more punches on Sethos.
“I get that you're standing up for F/N.” Sethos argued, trying to dodge the sudden assault. “But just hear me out...”
“If your head isn't clear, then don't go bothering F/N.” Kinich hissed. “I'm not interested in your excuses.”
After getting a thorough beating from Kinich who had later left, Sethos was extremely frustrated; if it wouldn't for the fact that he was Kinich's subordinate at work, he would have fought back. But after thinking it over, he realized he was at fault in this situation. At F/N's place, he had handled things poorly, focusing on Dalilah's cancer and her need to avoid stress. He hadn't considered the fact that F/N's chin had also been injured.
The next morning, as F/N was preparing a mushroom quiche for breakfast, she and Kinich discussed her plan to move out. She had blocked and deleted all of Sethos' contact information. With Kinich's help, she quickly moved out of the apartment.
Sethos had just received some good news; Dalilah's latest check-up revealed that her condition had miraculously improved. He planned to take her out for a nice meal to celebrate. The restaurant they chose was very popular with two rows of people waiting for seats outside. So he and Dalilah sat down to wait.
As they waited, Sethos opened his phone and started scrolling through social media. As he scrolled, he came across a post from Kinich from the previous week: 'Together with her.'
Sethos squinted his eyes to take a closer look; the woman in Kinich's arms was none other than F/N. She had her long hair tied in a loose bun, her face beaming with a smile as she kissed Kinich's cheek.
Dalilah noticed something was off and leaned over to look at his phone and her voice filled with excitement. “F/N found a rich boyfriend. I didn't expect her to find a new boyfriend so quickly. It seems she didn't care much about you...”
Sethos cut her off. “Don't jump to conclusions. She's obviously doing this to get back at me.”
“How can that be?” Dalilah scoffed. “She's already kissing him.”
“I need to find out what's going on.” Sethos hissed. “Dalilah, you go ahead and eat. I'll come back after I get to the bottom of this.”
He started his car and drove as fast as he could, one hand texting F/N. 'What's going on with you and him?' just as he sent the message, a red exclamation mark appeared next to it and Sethos realized F/N had changed her number.
Sethos rushed to the elevator and headed to the tenth floor of the apartment. He knocked on the door until his wrist was sore, but F/N never answered.
“You're under arrest for illegal harassment.” after some time, Sethos found himself pinned against the wall by two police officers.
“My girlfriend lives here.” Sethos argued.
“Officers.” a stranger appeared at the door. “Don't listen to him. I just moved in recently and I don't know this man at all.”
After work on Monday, Sethos found out Dalilah had somehow gotten into his place.
“I need to tell you something.” Sethos tossed his suitcase on the couch. “Since your condition has improved, you shouldn't stay at my place anymore. I've helped you fulfil your wishes. So go back to your own home.”
Later as he was about to take a shower, he passed Dalilah's room and thought to check if she had packed her things. Then, he overheard her talking on the phone with a friend.
“What should I do?” Dalilah wailed. “He wants to kick me out again. I regret saying my condition improved.”
“Then, just tell him your stomach cancer worsened.” the friend suggested. “Tell him that your last wish is to be a bride and he will have to marry you. Cry in front of him again and repeat the whole act. He'll be under your thumb in no time.”
Dalilah had just nodded when her door flung open. She turned around and was stunned to see Sethos in the doorway.
“So, your stomach cancer was a lie?” Sethos glared. “You've been playing me this whole time?”
Dalilah tried to act clueless. “No, Sethos. Listen to me...”
“You made me feel like a joke.” Sethos shoved Dalilah out. “Get out! I never want to see you again. Leave and don't ever come back.” he tossed Dalilah's suitcase out ten minutes later.

— 𝑴𝒀 𝑳𝑼𝑺𝑻𝑭𝑼𝑳 𝑯𝑼𝑺𝑩𝑨𝑵𝑫 !3!
Donna woke up to the sunlight forcing its way through her eyelids. She was in an unfamiliar bed, with Diluc gone from her side, and with a strange string attached to her arm. Her memory was still hazy; the only thing that she could recall was that she was speaking to you about Diluc, but somehow she ended up here.
“You’re awake.” An unfamiliar man in a black suit was sitting in front of her bed on a chair, he seemed to be reading a book in another language with a drawing of a human’s head on the cover, “I’m Sebastian, personal doctor working for Master Y/N in case of emergencies. Just call me by my name. How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay. Just a bit sore all over..” Donna mumbled back, to which the man nodded, “And.. My stomach kind of hurts..”
“That’s expected.” He reached for the paper laying by her nightstand, “You’ve been here for 32 hours, in and out of consciousness. Your medical record is missing information about your allergies, but considering that you and Master Y/N were having tea together, I’d say that you had quite an aggressive reaction towards some type of fruit which was used to make the blend.”
The moment he explained what had occurred hours prior — memories came rushing back in Donna’s mind, and she instantly felt more awake than ever.
“So.. It wasn’t poison?” She asked with hesitance, and the man almost dropped the mug which he was holding in his other hand.
“What kind of person do you think Master Y/N is to poison someone in a broad daylight, in their own home, with this many people around? Of course this was an accident.” The doctor scoffed and got up, “Anyways, leave whenever you feel like it. You seem more than fine to me.” He quickly detached the IV drip out of her hand, and bandaged up her elbow, “Try not to put any unnecessary strain on this arm.”
“A-Alright..”
Donna had actually never seen one of the proper doctors before in her life. Her family were strong believers in Herbology and Barbados’ will, so she wasn’t exactly sure why the doctor had concluded she was allergic to some fruit. Her whole life she tended to the gardens, sold massive varieties of flowers, and even once was a waitress at the bar with all kinds of drinks. Something didn’t seem to perfectly match what Sebastian had described, but maybe she just had to ask you what the two of you had that day to get to the bottom of this situation.
“Donna! Are you alright?!”
Suddenly, the doors bursted open with Diluc rushing inside. He looked even worse than last time she saw him. He was beginning to smell, his hair was forming mats and shining with grease, and his eyes were puffed and red; huge eye-bags forming above his cheeks.
“H-honey.. What has happened to you?” The woman gasped in shock at the appearance of her lover. He seemed to be taken with surprise by her reaction, and took a few steps back to stare at himself in the mirror.
The man froze.
Slowly, he reached to cup his own face as if he couldn’t recognize it.
“That dammed Y/N..” He mumbled to himself, “I am actually falling apart..” He whispered, while crouching down to take a seat on the ground. Now, Donna was more than worried. She got up from her bed and hugged her lover in a tight embrace, “Did they do something to you?” He pulled away to look deep into the woman’s eyes, “Did they hurt you?”
“I..” The brunette wasn’t sure what to say. Was she poised? Was this intentional? Accidental? Were you naturally hostile or angered by the circumstances? She had no clue. “I don’t know. Sebastian told me that I had an intense allergic reaction to something and that Y/N called in the medics to save me.”
“Oh.” Diluc blinked in surprise, “T-that’s confusing me even more now..”
“I know..” The woman sighed, “I know.”
-
You sat at the edge of your bed, as Marie kneeled before you with your right hand in her skillful palms. Your feet were soaking in a warm tub with rose petals floating above the water’s surface, and the maid gently trimmed your cuticles and the length of your nails to perfection. The two of you sat in silence throughout the whole procedure, as you stared at the flickering flame of a candle on your nightstand.
“What do you think, Marie? What are they going to do next?” You asked her a question, and she didn’t even bat an eye before answering to you.
“They are going to try to murder you, my Master.”
You didn’t expect such conclusion. Truly, your death seemed to be an only out for Diluc’s desperate cry for freedom. The moment he’d sign a contract provided by you — his life would be over. Staying in the same mansion with you would also ensure his and Donna’s suffering until their last breaths. But in order for him to be back in control of his future — he would need to erase you. You let out a bitter laugh, however, Marie’s expression remained as stoic as always.
“What do you think I should do?” You questioned further. You watched her grab a warm cloth, and rub your palms in gentle motion, as if trying to cleanse you of your sins.
“I am a mere servant, my Master.” She reminded you.
For a second, you saw red. Without a thought you slapped her hands away from yours’ and grabbed at her chin — forcing her to look you in the eyes. She didn’t tremble, she didn’t fight, she just froze. Your anger vanished, and slowly you melted into a fake smile. Your thumb hovered over her bottom lip, and you brought her closer to yourself, until you both could feel each others’ breaths.
“You’re my servant, Marie. I don’t keep fools around me, do I?” You then let go off her, making her lose her balance for a second, but she quickly gathered herself and bowed her head in submission, “Now, speak.” She rose her gaze, and you encouraged her once again with a raised brow.
“I believe for there to be two options.” Marie began her speech, and took your feet out the tub to place them on her thighs and wipe them dry, “You get rid of Master Diluc and send Mistress Donna back to Mondstat. Nobody would believe her that it was you who hurt Master Diluc, but even if they would, a single mention of his crimes across the world and that it was all done in self-defense would guarantee your innocence.”
She was finally done taking care of you, and proceeded to reach for freshly the ironed socks by her side.
“And second?”
“You get rid of Mistress Donna, and make Master Diluc fall into the deepest depths of despair, so that he won’t have anyone else to turn to for comfort — but you.” Marie buckled up your shoes, and stood up, instantly straightening her back, “The choice lies in whether you prefer to execute quick revenge and forget, or, to keep a hold of your revenge until your last breath.”
You laughed at her words.
“Do you believe for revenge to be a waste of time?”
“Many people who consider themselves above others would say that, but I solely believe that your decision is absolute, my Master. I believe a yearn for revenge made you into a person who you are today, and Master..” Marie locked her hands together by her chest, “You are an entity beyond my comprehension.”
“You flatter me, Marie.”
Looking at her, you saw emotions which Diluc had never expressed towards you. Yes, he loved you. But young love comes and goes. Meanwhile every single one of your servants in this house, were undoubtedly loyal to you. There was no hesitation that every single maid, butler, cook, and even the recently hired doctor would die for you. Kill for you. Live for you.
Diluc was never any of those things.
“I think I made my decision.”
You’ve made that decision long time ago, and there was no reason to back out on it now. Even if Diluc would put you in the casket, you would crawl out with a knife in your hand to continue to haunt him. You weren’t sure where this obsession was coming from. Perhaps it was boredom. Maybe, you were just that evil and prideful. Or even..
It was just fun.
-
Donna decided to finally leave Master Y/N house and go for a walk. They have been living in the mansion for a month now, and each day was worse than the previous one. She tried to make it work. She followed all lessons which you signed her up for, she learned the etiquette, she put herself on a diet, did her hair to the best of her ability, but one thing for sure — each day was more miserable than the other.
The moment that the sun would rise, she would feel the dread wash over her. Even when you weren’t at the mansion your spirit and your presence were felt everywhere. Your mere gaze was driving her insane, even giving her nightmares. She had a dream, where you were smirking at her with a maniacal glare in your eyes whilst holding a blade to her throat. Then, there were visions of you poisoning her, assassinating her, or hanging her off the ceiling.
Donna’s thoughts were getting darker and darker. From a light and careless girl, she has become something else entirely.
Perhaps, being with Diluc was the biggest mistake of her life.
As she finally stepped through the gates of Mondstat — the whispers began. Nobody in this city knew what you were truly like. How terrifying, how cruel, how manipulative. They all saw you from the best angle, meanwhile, Donna was seen from her worst.
“Homewrecker..”
“Slut!”
“Whore!”
“To get together with a married man, no shame at all!”
“How can she even bear to come back here..”
Even though they were mere whispers, their voices seemed to be louder than her own thoughts. She had to bite down on her bottom lip to keep herself away from shedding tears. Her life had become so terrible. Although she was outside, it felt like the curtains were still drawn. She couldn’t see the sunlight as bright as it used to be. A part of her was still locked away in that mansion — forever caged.
She felt her heart rase, her breathing picking up — she was panicking. There were so many people, and they all hated her. Yes, she did a bad thing, but did she really deserve all of this? Were her good deeds before this now completely forgotten? Where did all of her friends go when she needed them the most?
She had no one.
She was so alone.
“Is Sister Barbara around?” Donna asked as she had finally reached the church. Her feet felt sore, and the base of her spine was aching.
“One second.” One of the nuns had ran off to get her. As Donna waited she took a seat and looked around the church. Perhaps, she should beg, no, plead Barbados for His guidance. For His help. For His involvement.
“She’s here.”
“Donna! I haven’t seen you in a while.” If there were someone who hadn’t changed their attitude towards her — it was all the nuns, especially Sister Barbara. Maybe she was just very good at hiding her real thoughts, but Donna preferred to indulge herself in a more positive light.
“Hi, Sister Barbara.” The brunette murmured shyly, “I sent you a letter a week ago..” She reminded the other, and at first Barbara seemed confused, until she remembered.
“Ah, yes, yes!” The young girl continuously nodded her head, “Let’s head to a more private room.” She gestured for Donna to follow her out the church, and into the next building.
Barbara wasn’t the only doctor in Mondstat, in fact, she wasn’t even an actual licensed professional how Sebastian was. However, people with healing hydro abilities were granted permission to accept patients and examine them if required. Donna didn’t trust Sebastian, so, she sent a letter ahead explaining her symptoms to the blonde girl and arranged time and date of their meeting.
Barbara made the woman lay down on the examination table, as she checked what worried her most. She applied pressure on different parts of her body, especially her stomach. Then, a frown covered her face and she spread out her palms across Donna’s stomach — hydro particles suddenly formed in the air and circled around each one of her fingers — until they had vanished. It seemed that the blonde had come to her conclusion, but was hesitating to speak.
“Donna..”
“What? What is it?” The brunette was already imaging the worst. Was she dying? She must be dying! “What’s wrong with me?” The longer she wasn’t hearing an answer, the more panicked she got.
“You’ve had a miscarriage.”
What.
“I.. I was pregnant?” Donna stared, and Barbara nodded, “What do you mean I had a miscarriage?” She breathed out a pained laugh, “I didn’t bleed or anything.. I..” And then — it hit her. She understood what happened. You didn’t poison her that day. Your intent wasn’t her assassination, but rather.. “N-no way..”
She was drowning.
Her lungs were getting filled with the sea of sorrow.
“NOOOOOooooOOoOOOooOOooo!” A howling, blood-curdling cry was heard echoing through the halls of the hospital. Her tears were running down her cheeks like a river, and Barbara’s comforting embrace felt like the last hold on her humanity.
That day Donna hadn’t just lost her past, but she also lost her future.
-
Donna came back home only a week later. She might have not even known her child, but the grief was weighting down at her heart. She always wanted to be a mother, and from a young age she was told to be infertile. She never said anything to Diluc about it, because the topic was never brought up. But now, she was finding out that her miracle baby was forcefully taken out of her. She felt violated, torn, and broken. Every part of her soul had shattered like glass with pieces scattered so far apart that they’ll never be fixed back together.
“Donna.. Finally.”
Diluc was hugging her, but she couldn’t even feel it. Her body just froze, meanwhile, her gaze and mind were elsewhere. She couldn’t stop thinking about her lost child. Was it a girl, a boy, or twins? Were they going to have her brown her or their father’s crimson locks? What about their eyes, their height, their smiles? Were they going to grow up to be strong and powerful, or would they prefer a more standard and quiet life? Why did this happen to her? Why wasn’t she given a chance?
If only you had asked her to decide between her child and Diluc, she would have chosen her child in a heartbeat.
“Where have you been?” The man whispered into her ear, and she felt his tears falling onto her shoulder and soaking through her shirt. She hadn’t cried since that day. She hadn’t even said a word. Her whole world was stuck in that one moment, unable to move on, “What happened to you, my beautiful?” Diluc was playing with the locks of her hair, just how he used to.
He hadn’t changed, but she was now a different person. She was in grief. He was in despair.
“Can we kill them?”
Diluc instantly pulled away, and stared at Donna’s empty eyes. He blinked once, twice, but still couldn’t believe his ears.
“K-kill who?”
“Master Y/N. I want to take their life.“

Traitor pt.2
In which scaramouche prefers Haypaysia's presence over yours, so you go to liyue harbor in an attempt to move on from scaramouche and to find an old friend. (pt three at bottom)
scaramouche x reader/xiao x reader
Wangshu inn is just what you needed, the calm breeze, the sound of children laughing and the sweet nostalgic smell of almond tofu.
That reminds you of someone who loved that dish so.
"I wonder how Xiao is doing..." you quietly muttered to yourself.
Just then in amist of a poof of blackish green smoke, Xiao suddenly appeared next to you.
"Oh my archorns-"
"Its been a while mortal."
"Oh hi Xiao, how'd you find me here?" you said as you mustered up a smile.
"I told you. If you find yourself in trouble, just call out my name: Adeptus Xiao. Though it seems to me that you're not in any danger here."
"Hehe sorry, your name just slipped out just now."
Over the next few days, you and Xiao recount the big and little things that happened back when you left Liyue.
You gradually open up about your past relationship with Scaramouche.
"Foolish mortals, they wouldn't ever hope to be betrayed, yet they do the same to the people who trust them."
"He's not exactly a mortal though."
"Well if he's that stupid to hurt you, he's a foolish mortal in my eyes."
"Haha, but I'm a mortal, does that mean you also think I'm stupid?"
"You're-you're... different."
His ears became slightly red as he tried to avoid eye contact with you.
Over the course of months, he slowly helped you move on as the both of you became closer and closer.
Then on one day, he finally proposed,
"When I'm with you I wish the moment would last forever, and when we are apart I worry endlessly for your safety. Then I realised that everything reminds me of you. I believe mortals call this love, it's a foolish thing. I don't want you to share my burdens, so I'll understand if you decline, but..." he takes a deep breath before he continues," If you feel the same, then I'll carry your share of troubles until time seperates us."
Unbeknownst to you, a pair of indigo eyes were drilling into the soul of the green haired male next to you.

✮ wc ; 3.4k
✮ a/n ; what if i want to be the tyrant emperor for a change huh. what then. also scaramouche is called bride but gender and stuff is whatever in this universe.
some background, this is not genshin techincally. its like adapted to be a royalty au. reader is a recent ruler of their homeland. scaramouche is a raidens son. he didn't get a lot of choice in coming but he has no political power in his homeland
(this is a rewrite of a concept i posted a while ago but i cant find the ask where someone tells me to expand so hope this finds u anon
✮ synopsis ; your "bride" hails from inazuma and comes to you dressed in white, with eyes full of lightning.
A knock on your door snaps you out of your pointless thinking. Your close companion and Royal Advisor clears his throat before addressing you.
“Your bride has been prepared for you,”
“Come in.”
The brown door creaks as it opens, the gold embellishments on either side catching light. The hallway behind is empy but bright. Your advisor stands behind your esteemed guest with a look of mild exasperation. Subtle as it may be, it makes the corner of your lip quirk in amusement. At the door is your betrothed.
Your bride comes to you wrapped in white.
“I’ll leave you too it,” Says your advisor, code for please get along that has you nodding your head. You hum quietly, waving him away. He sighs as he shuts the door, leaving your guest standing at the door awkwardly.
As the rumors have said so many times over, the Raiden Shoguns only heir is strikingly beautiful. Pale thing he is, white as a porcelain doll and nearly half your size. Even in the lowlights of your bedroom, the blurriness of candlelight, you can see the sharpness of his eyes. A signature purple, the color of royalty and trademark of the Inazuman dynasty and bloodline.
For a peace offering, he reeks of defiance. Just standing there with his arms crossed, fists clenched and jaw tight. He looks like he wants to burn the entire palace to the ground where he stands. You’re sure if you picked him apart enough he’d tell you just that. Intel tells you he’s easy to provoke, and for a Prince of his nation - he’s quite the fighter too.
You aren’t sure how much he knows of this by now. Or if he knows that you’ve learned all sorts of things about him.
Most of all, he’s intriguing. Beautiful but prickly and poisonous. You’re captivated by how much he seethes. You tilt your head as your leg up, your back against the wall. You glance briefly at the concubine asleep in your bed, back exposed. Your robe is half-fallen over your shoulder, the bandaging on your chest and shoulder visible.
You take a long inhale of the pipe resting on your bed, lungs filling with opium before you push it. Another cloud of smoke fills the room, relief in your back as you exhale. You tilt your head at him.
“Will you stand there the whole time?” You ask placidly. It angers him even more for a reason you’re unable to discern.
“Why would I get near a belligerent tyrant like you?”
You chuckle. Despite himself, there’s a tinge of anxiety to his protesting. He’s young and on guard. You’re sure your reputation with the Royal Harem has served you no favors, so he must think you’re going to pounce on him.
You shake your head.
“I like to sedate my prey before I eat it. I won’t lay a hand on you.”
Surprised by your deduction, a flush draws on his features. You smile wispily, before another thought crosses your mind. His name dawns on you, Scaramouche you think it was.
“Ah, or is it this that’s troubling you?” You say, gesture vaguely to the naked person in your bed laying comfortably “Should I send her away before we speak?”
Your conversation stirs her. Scaramouche stares on. Instead you glance at the woman before you as she wakes, turning to her side. Barren skin save for jewelry, she runs her hands through her hair as she yawns.
“Oh, Your Highness. Already another round? I hardly got any rest.” She pouts. Her behavior is amusing to you always.
“Not today. My spouse has come to visit, so I’m sending you back to your chambers.” You say smoothly. She pouts, sitting up. The sheets that covered her so thinly have fallen, revealing the rest of her. A set of gold anklets that match with gold necklaces and gold bracelet. She sits up on her knees and wraps her around your neck.
“How cruel,” She whines, rubbing herself against you “How could you abandon when you favor me so much, hm?”
“You’re quite clever aren’t you? Trying to seduce me in front of my lover, and all?”
She pulls back to giggle.
“So you’ve seen through me. I don’t care for being sent away, you know?”
“What would you like as reconciliation?” You say.
“A kiss goodbye,” She replies easily. This time you look to Scaramouche. His face is burning red.
“Is it alright with you?”
He scoffs “As if it matters what I think.”
“I’ve asked you haven’t I?”
“Do as you please.”
You laugh. He says as much but he can't help but stare. He looks embarrassed, albeit you can’t imagine which thing is troubling him so much. It’s entertaining.
You kiss her goodbye as she’s asked, though you know what type of kiss she’s asking for. A deep kiss, the kind where you have to hold her by the nape of her neck. Salacious in nature, where she squirms and holds the front of your robe. You pull away with a laugh, rubbing her lower lip.
“Send my regards to everyone. It might be some time before I visit again.”
“How heartbreaking. I’ll do as you wish, Your Highness.” She stands to her feet, pulling herself out of bed and putting on the clothes left on the floor with a sigh. Her feet pad against the marble floor as she walks away.
She stops to look at Scaramouche before leaving, bowing her head in respect before standing back. She whispers something to him (that turns his face into a blushing mess once more) before patting him on the shoulder gently.
“I’m off,” She says, waving a hand but not looking back. The door clicks back shut a second time, leaving the two of you alone in silence. You take another drag from your pipe.
“Come. Sit.”
He does as you ask this time, stomping with a characteristic frustration that you stop to laugh at internally. He sits on the corner of your mattress, legs crossed. You get to see him up close this time. What delicate features he has, he couldn’t be any older than 21. The white silks he’s dressed in are fine. A thin, lace collar goes up to his throat. A skirt with high slits about the legs and lacy socks to cover the legs. He’s wearing something over it too, draped over his shoulders. You can see the cut-out of his chest. You only glance. Any longer than this and you’re sure he’ll protest.
“What troubles you, my bride?”
He grits his teeth.
“I’m no bride.”
“I know,” You say, without any hesitation “You’re the only filial son of the Great Raiden Shogun. I may be a tyrant, but I am no fool.”
This information surprises him. He wears his emotions on his face, as expected. He’s not gotten so far without being clever. The bounty on his head is insurmountable. There’s a tension in the room, an unspoken heaviness in the air. Quite a fragile thing he is.
“Then this, this marriage - it’s fraudulent isn’t it?” He says, angry. You hum.
“I knew before we wedded. Under the law of Tevyat and in the eyes of the Nation, you are my betrothed.”
He’s catching up to all that you know. You know it all. The rumors of the cold and unyielding Raiden Shogun. The desolate lands of Inazuma, the loss of childhood and the change in the young man. Rumors of the angry Crown Prince and his bleeding heart. How he was sacrificed for power to your hands, for the eternal vision of Inazuma.
Of course you know.
“Then why…if you know about me, then why?”
“The Raiden Shogun offered you to me to get in my good graces. There’s political fairs involved but the simply reason is because I wanted to. You’re easy on the eyes.”
He ignores your flirtatious comment as you expect.
“What are the political affairs?”
“Inazuma wishes to strengthen it’s naval army and a small nation requires resources. Since I’ve only just gained power after killing the Emperor, my position for the throne is destabilized and marriage was the best option to stabilize it again,” You explain, already bored just hearing yourself.
“We don’t gain anything from joining hands with Inazuma as it stands. And plenty of people have vouched desperately for my marriage. The simple answer is because an offer like the only child of the Raiden Shogun, who’s beauty is world-renowned is quite the tempting offer.”
He looks down, away from you and you resist your own laughter.
“I despise you,”
“I know that too. That pretty face of yours doesn’t leave much for imagination. What will you do my dear? Will you run? Cry? Scheme into driving a knife in my heart? Lure me into security and disappear?”
“...You’re personality is quite twisted.”
“I’m curious about the faces you make, that’s all. What will you do, how will you react, how you think. But I do not intend to make you miserable. There’s much to discuss,”
“....Why are you posing as if you’re kind?”
“A caged animal will lash out for it’s freedom,” You say, titting your head to one side “But a looked after one will never bite the hand that feeds.”
“Wouldn’t you be the one closer to an animal with your tendencies?”
“A beast, I hear so often. My point is the same. If I intend to make you even a begrudging ally, I’m not interested in angering you. Nor forcing myself upon you for that matter,” You add the last part intentionally.
“Disgusting,” He says, all while staring at the curve of your neck and your body “Really,”
“I do not intend to force you, but if you’re so against the idea - I think it’d only be fair I’m allowed to see my concubines. It’s your choice.”
He frowns at your explanation. You grin.
“Are you so troubled by it? Would you prefer I only long for you?”
“D-don’t word it like that.” He says, a shake in his voice. You hum, taking a long drag from your pipe.
“Maybe you’re the sentimental type? A lover from the homeland? Or perhaps, you’re just too inexperienced to be confident?”
You can see the exciting look on his face. That type of shame that very few nobles wear. Most of them degenerates, or liars. Prim and properly deceitful. You look at Scaramouche’s honest face and feel something between your legs. How much he wishes to admonish you, or even push you away but is all too curious to refuse. An expression like that is a jewel, a diamond waiting for polish.
You have to chip around it, bit by bit. Too much force and you’ll scratch his beautiful surface, you only pull at him gently. Tease him so tenderly he can’t scurry off.
“Shut up. You know nothing about me,”
“If you’re unsure, you can always try. I can teach you much easier than most,” You say. You wonder if he’ll call your bluff. But he doesn’t. He sits and folds his hands in your lap. He reminds you a bit of those Glaze Lily’s all the way from Liyue. Cold and blue and eye-catching.
Scaramouche does not call your bluff. He shifts to cover his legs and something is overwhelmed inside you. You hold your breath a little. So skittish.
“There’s nowhere for me to return to,” He says first, surprising you, a bitterness in his tone that pleases you “It’s not like I want to stay here or be your ally. But returning to a place that has discarded me is even more disgusting.”
“So we’re allies for now. Understood,” You say, glancing at him “Then, are you giving me permission to sleep with you?”
His eyes widen, face reddening to an impossible degree. A belly laugh leaves you. What a simple person in the end.
“You―W-we have to consummate the marriage, don’t we? A-and if I stay here, I’ll have power. Leaving it open means it’ll be nullified and―”
“You don’t need to explain yourself to me. If you feel too embarrassed about your desires, you may spread rumors about simply quelling my appetite,” You say with a mild expression, intending it with sincerity “It’d be a shame to do nothing when you’ve dressed up so nicely for your arrival. Come closer,”
Your comment must bother him, but he resigns himself. He does as he’s asked, slowly getting on his knees and crawling towards you. His eyes are erratic, skin flush. He’s simply sitting across from you and he can’t look at you directly. You’re a little astonished by the extent of his innocence, especially with all the violent rumors around him. You blow out the flame of your pipe, and lean to one side away from you.
Then you stretch your legs out, placing your hands gently on his waist so he doesn’t startle. You manuever so he’s stradling you, his knees on either side of your thigh. Looking at him closely is exciting. There’s makeup on his face. Crushed pink pigment smeared on his lip and smoothed with oil and eyes lined with something dark. You reach your hand up to cup his face, and he manages not to flinch.
Though you can hear his heart beat. It’s tremendously loud. Nervous.
“Relax, I won’t eat you, for now. I’ll take take responsibility. Have you kissed anyone?”
“S-so what if I haven’t?”
“We’ll start there. Close your eyes and follow me.”
He listens obediently again, closing his eyes. His hands are clenched over his knee. You grab them and let them rest over your shoulders before sneaking your hand to the side of his face. You lean in to kiss him gently, his skin soft. He smells like lavender and oats, the hairs on his nape brushing against your fingers delicately. His lips are soft as you start slowly, opening your mouth just a little. He learns quickly, following your actions without trying to take lead.
You pull away and do it again. Again and again and again until you’re used to the pace. You use your free hand to squeeze at his delicate waist, relishing in how easily he succumbs to the feelings. He lets out something like a moan that embarasses him near immediately as he pulls away. He’s clumsy but it’s cute, and makes you want to kiss him more.
He turns his head, using his wrist to cover his mouth which you grab swiftly. You grab his chin too, rubbing your thumb on his lip.
“Open your mouth and stick your tongue out,” You say, a little more eager than last. He makes a face but listens. You mimic him before kissing him one more time. The feeling of your tongue must surprise him. Either way, his body responds so beautiful. He nearly melts in your arms as you wrap them around his waist, fingers dancing to any bare skin you can. He makes a pretty, pitchy sound for you but doesn’t pull away this time.
When you stop kissing him, his face looks hazy. Frustrated, he almost goes to chase your mouth but stops himself. You smirk just barely, before busying your mouth on his chin. Open kisses trace his jaw as you lean into his pulse.
It beats under your teeth, his heart does, so red and so loud. For a minute you really do want to eat him alive, devour him in one swallow. But you restrain yourself from such desires, instead putting little marks on his body for tommorrow. So everyone knows not to say anything about his status. He can resent you later but for now, it’s a safety precaution.
He makes sounds like a melody, a string insturment in the warm sun. There’s something divinely beautiful about him. His body reacts to your simple touches, a shiver running up his spine as you kiss his neck and grope him lightly. It excites you, those innocent reactions. Makes something stir in your gut and grow hot between your legs.
You feel something shift underneath you. When you look, there’s something hard poking from his clothes. It makes a tent in the delicate fabric where he stands. You pull away just to stare at it, amused by how hard he is.
“Stop looking at it or I’ll gouge your eyes out,”
“It’s cute,” You say with conviction, wrapping your hands around the base with the fabric and squeezing the base “I should get to look,”
“W-what are you?”
“I’ll bet a stuck-up prince type like you didn’t get much education. There are more ways than one to feel pleasure than sticking it in. I’ll show you, so don’t run away,”
He doesn’t have the words to protest. He doesn’t refuse you, just watches through his hands. You rub him so slightly through the thin material. Can see it clear with your eyes adjusted. It fits easily in your palm, tip harsh pink and curved. You place your thumb over the tip, smearing the pre-cum leaking onto the fabric. He’s so sticky, so hard and hot in your palms.
“It’d be better if I touched you directly, but you’re cute like this. So lewd,”
He has nothing to say. A whine or protest gets cut short with a groan of pleasure. You laugh a little. You search the bed for a bottle of oil with your free hand. When you find it, you pull away and drip it into your hands.
“Hold this up for me.” You say softly. He hesitates but does, pulling the skirt up until his cock is visible. You rub the oil into your hands, warming it before wrapping around the shaft. The skin-to-skin proves to be a lot for him, his body already trembling though you’ve hardly touched him. He’s much heavier like this, His cock is smooth and he’s near hairless, You can see so much of him, the plane of his stomach and the musculature of his thighs.
He’s got lithe muscle, nothing too hard or too defined but there all the time. He’s got a dip in one of his hips and a mole that you’ll kiss some other time, just above where you’re touching. You wonder if there’s more. Once you have your way with him you’ll count.
You stroke him slowly and easily. Any more than this might be cruel since this much action seems to be too much. You watchi his expression as you build to a steady pace, paying special attention to the head. His expression is debauched. Inexperienced as you expected, but perhaps even more than that - sensitive. He’s throbbing against the curves of your roughened skin, gasping and holding hard onto your shoulder as he tries to keep himself tight in one place. You lean your head forward, kissing just under his pec.
“This is as far as I’ll go today. Cum for your beloved, hm? Show me your face?”
That seems to do it for him. The use of lover in such a context pushes him over the edge and it only takes two more strokes to spill into your fingers. Thick, hot ropes of cum makes a mess of your fingers as he ruts his cock into your palms chasing his high.
When he’s finished, he nearly collapses into your lap. It sedates all of his previous angers, something you note in the back of your mind.
You bring your hand up your mouth, tasting it. He gasps, scandalized.
“That’s dirty!”
“I’ve done worse. Besides it wasn’t bad. Hand me that,” You gesture. He tosses you the rag to wipe your hand with and you toss it in the basket at the end of your bed. Before he can push you away, you pull him into your arms and laydown.
“What are you doing?” He says, indignant.
“Holding you,” You say without blinking, looking down at him. You wrap your arms around his waist and let him cuddle into you “The concubines get angry if I don’t after,”
“...Don’t talk about them right now,”
You laugh “Right, sorry.”
“....What about me?”
You laugh a little at him pretending he isn’t worried.
“I know you said not to mention it but I’m all worn out for today. So get some sleep. I’ll have my Advisor prepare more in the morning but you should rest.”
“Ugh. Fine. If you insist,” He says, melting into you anyway. You laugh to yourself as he closes his eyes.
You’ve signed up for something fun.

Sub Cheater! Heizou X Dom! Male Reader X Best Friend Sub! Kazuha Hardcore Nsfw
Warnings: cheating, degrading kinks, oral sex
You were on your way back home after a long day of work, and you were excited to see your boyfriend, Heizou. Little did you know that you were about to be met with something completely unexpected.
As soon as you got home, you carefully opened the door to surprise Heizou, but little did you know, you were the one who would be surprised. As soon as you entered the house, you were met with loud moans, and it sounded like Heizou was moaning. Thoughts ran through your mind, and you ran to the room where the moans came from.
"It can't be what I think it is," you said to yourself before trying to open the door, but you soon realized that it was locked. Without any hesitation, you bashed and bashed the door before it eventually opened, and what followed made your heart drop.
There, lying on the bed, Heizou, and your best friend, Kazuha. You didn't knew what to do or say, you just stood there, completely shocked, completely heartbroken.
"Y-Y/N??" Kazuha said shockingly, Heizou didn't said anything, he just looked at you with the look of a deer in the headlights. "So this is what I get in return, huh Heizou?" You asked while trying not to cry, "Y/N, baby, it's not what it looks like," Heizou said before walking up to you and caressing your cheek. You quickly moved his hand away from your face, "it is what it looks like, how long have you been cheating on me with Kazuha, huh??" You asked while pointing at Kazuha.
"For......a long time," Heizou said while looking away shamefully, but he knows what he has done, and now he has to pay the price. You've done everything for him, even for Kazuha. Now here they are, showing you their true colors. But you were determined to give them what they deserve.
"Get on your knees, whores," you said demandingly. Heizou and Kazuha quickly got on their knees, "good bitches~," you said while smirking at them and taking off your pants and underwear. They got very aroused by this, "look at you, eager to have my cock in your mouths," you said before revealing your big and throbbing cock.
Heizou and Kazuha moaned at the sight of your cock, "open your mouths, you whores," you said before seeing their mouths open. Without wasting another second, you quickly shoved your cock in Heizou's mouth harshly before hearing him moan.
"Such a whore you are Heizou, after everything I have done for you, I get this in return?" You said before thrusting your cock in his mouth faster, "mmmmm, I'm sorry Y/N~," Heizou said in a muffled tone. You then cummed inside his mouth before taking your cock out of his mouth, "sure you are, whore," you said before turning to Kazuha.
"As for you Kazuha, I didn't knew you were such a bastard," you said before shoving your cock in his mouth harshly. "Ummm, forgive me Y/N~," he said as he sucks on your cock like the slut he is. You have no reason to forgive, he had slept with your 'boyfriend', Heizou, and now here he is, sucking on your cock like a little cock whore.
Heizou and Kazuha got no one to blame but themselves for hurting you, now they have to pay the ultimate price by becoming your two cum dumps.

...so like, if I request a not gender specific s/o who's married to Kujou Sara but s/o is actively cheating on her with Raiden Ei and literally everyone in Inazuma knows accept Sara, is that's fine? This is my first request ever and I don't know what I'm doing.
CHEATING | Kujou Sara & Raiden Ei
PAIRING: Kujou Sara, Raiden Ei x GN!Reader
WARNINGS: Smut, NSFW, Dom!Reader, Sub!Character(s), Slight Angst, Cheating, Affairs, Oblivious!Sara, Power Bottom!Ei (In Some Parts), Biting, Marking, Fingering, Degradation, Name Calling (Slut), Choking
AUTHORS NOTE: Oof yes this request is completely fine, and don't worry you did it right.
HOW HAD you come to this? How had you found yourself being led into the Electro Archons personal chambers almost every night? Especially when you had a darling wife back home, lying cold without your warmth beside her in bed.
Well, it had all started when you visited Tenshukaku to see Sara, you wife. It was there you had ended up running into the woman that started everything; Ei. The dear Shogun had immediately found you irresistible. You were insanely attractive, very polite and charming, so how could she not fall for you so quickly?
But her feeling of excitement had quickly died almost immediately when Kujou Sara had approached you both, laying a delicate kiss on your lips. The frown on her face was evident at the gesture that happened before her eyes, and it only got worse when her general introduced you as her wife.
So you were already taken? Why was Ei not surprised, when you were so beautiful and charming, how could you not be tied down by someone. But just because you were married, doesn't mean Ei wasn't going to try and not pursue you. She just wished she didn't need to hurt her general in the process.
"This is wrong..." You muttered as you entered the Shogun's private chambers, a frown on your face as you found it hard to meet Ei's eyes as she led you towards her bed by your hand.
"Yet, you always come back." Ei stated, eyes analyzing your face as she sat on the edge of her bed, tugging you close to her and in between her legs.
"You make it difficult not to." You mutter once again, your eyes finally meeting her eyes as you raise a hand up to trace across her cheek, making her hum as she nuzzles against it.
"Good." Ei mutters, before leaning up and pressing her lips against yours, lifting a hand up to grab at the back of your neck. Your quick to give in to the kiss, despite the conflict happening in your mind, you find yourself kissing back.
You moved your hands up and placed them on her arms, pushing her back against her bed. She moaned softly at the action, her fingers playing with your hair as she pushed your head to deepen the kiss. You made no move to stop her, instead accepting the deepened kiss.
You quickly stuck your tongue into the Archon's mouth, and sge gladly let you in. Feeling your tongue exploring had her humming in satisfaction, the growing heat in between her legs only a sign of that. Kissing you always felt amazing and it always set her ablaze, she briefly wondered if Sara felt the same way when you kissed her.
"I want you to take your clothes off." You muttered against Ei's lips, breathing heavily as you caught your breath, staring into her darkened, electric eyes.
Ei was quick to follow your orders, sitting up from her bed and quick to pull her clothes off as you stood back, working yourself out of your own. Your eyes drank in the sight of the woman, trailing across her body; she really did have the body of a god. You briefly felt guilty about looking at Ei like this, Sara's own beautiful body jumping to your mind, but you shook it away.
Cause right now it was Ei who was in front of you. It was Ei you were about to sleep with. Not Sara.
Not Sara...
"Lay back on the bed." Your voice sent a shiver down Ei's spine, and she couldn't stop herself from biting her lower lip as she did what you told her to do.
You moved to crawl onto the bed as well after her, moving on top of Ei and quickly capturing her lips into a kiss once again. She sighed in satisfaction, her arms moving to circle around your neck, pulling you in deeper. You had to admit as well, kissing your dear Archon was an addiction; an addiction you unfortunately became the victim to.
Your hand trained down her body, groping at her skin as you kissed, eliciting small moans from your touch. You then placed it on her hip, rubbing your fingers against it before gripping it and tugging her hips up towards you. She gasped softly, before moaning as her already dripping cunt brushed up across your knee.
"Ah, Y/N..!" Ei gasped softly, her eyes fluttering shut as you moved your lips down her jaw, feeling you press your knee in between her legs, making her gasp.
"Already soaking wet..." You muttered, feeling Ei's slick coat your knee as you pressed it against her pussy, making her whine at the contact. "Are you really that obsessed with me that you become soaked from me not even really touching you?"
Ei whimpers as you press your knee harder in between her legs, and she lightly tugs at your hair. "You call me obsessed, but whose the one who comes to me and leaves their wife alone?"
You clenched your jaw at her words, digging your nails into her thigh before suddenly thrusting your knee up against her pussy, making her cry out at the action. You move to bite into her neck, sucking on her skin to leave behind a mark as you press down onto her cunt, making her whine and whimper.
"Don't mention Sara again or Inazuma isn't gonna see their Archon for the next week." You growled, giving Ei a glare as you pulled away from her neck.
She took in a shaky breath at your words, knowing full well what exactly you meant by that. She was gonna reply to you, but was cut off by her own moans as you let go of her thigh, replacing your knee with your hand. Feeling your fingers rubbing against her pussy, coating them in her slick was quick to make her a shaking mess.
"From now on I don't want to hear a word leave your mouth. I only wanna hear your cries." You growled, eyes intense as you glared up at the Archon.
Ei gulped, but nodded her head obediently. She'd try her best not to utter any words from now on, because she knew if she did, you'd just stop and leave her unsatisfied for the night, and that's not something the Electro Archon wanted.
Seeing that Ei understood your instructions, you began to open her dripping folds, slipping your fingers through them. She was quick to throw her head back and let out a moan at the feeling of you beginning to slip your fingers into her. It felt like an eternity since the last time she felt this from you, though in all actuality it had only been a few days.
Though a few too many days in her opinion. Damn Sara for taking your attention away from her for so long.
Ei didn't want to think about her general though for too long, instead she wanted to focus on you. Focus on the feeling of your fingers slipping into her whole, stretching her open. It felt so heavenly being stretched by your fingers, she was addicted to the feeling, and for good reason when it felt so fucking good.
"Fuck, your pussy always sucks me in like a greedy slut." You groaned, the feeling of Ei's pretty hole sucking your fingers in and tightening deliciously around them was amazing. It always felt better than Sara...
You clenched your jaw when your beautiful wife entered your mind, suddenly giving a sharp thrust into Ei, making the Archon cry out in surprise. You sighed, shaking your head to try and rid any thoughts of Sara, leaning your head against Ei's shoulder, and closing your eyes.
The Archon knew what was going through your mind at your actions, you always acted like this when you thought of Sara when you were with her. She lifted a hand up and threaded her fingers through your hair, gently caressing while she grinded her hips up into your hand, trying to get your fingers to start moving.
You sighed at her actions, but quickly gave her what she wanted. You began to move your fingers in and out of her, curling them into her every once and a while, eliciting more moans.
As you fingered your Archon, you began to kiss along her neck, nipping at her skin here and there, and sucking on certain spots you knew got her pulse quickening. You felt her pussy flutter around your fingers when you bit hard on one spot on her neck, sucking at it.
She let out a loud moan, pressing her hips down onto your fingers, begging for more as you marked her neck. So you fingered her faster, pounding them repeatedly into her, curling them to be able to hit that spot inside her. It had Ei seeing stars, and letting out repeated moans and whines.
"Such a slut for me." You muttered, pulling away from her neck to stare down at her disheveled state, seeing the pleading look in her eyes. "Are you already close to cumming, Ei?"
Ei immediately nodded her head, whining st hearing her name roll perfectly off your tongue. You hummed at her response, looking down in between her legs and watching as your fingers appeared and disappeared from inside her. You stared for a few moments as you fingered her harder and faster, before moving to press your thumb against her neglected clit.
Feeling that, Ei threw her head back, letting out a strangled cry as you finally put pressure on her bud. You smiled slightly, rubbing your thumb against it while fingering her deeper. You could see the pleasure growing in her eyes, the know about to break.
"If you already wanna cum slut, go ahead." You muttered, pressing down onto her clit, making Ei's eyes widen.
She wanted to open her mouth and respond, but she stopped herself, instead just giving in. Her back arched and hips bucking as she let go. You hummed as you felt her cum quickly coat your hand, looking down to watch the mess she made of her bed.
Ei took a moment to catch her breath, suddenly speaking without thinking, and quickly coming to regret it. "That must have been so much more nicer than Sara..."
Seeing your eyes snap onto hers in a second sent a negative feeling into her gut. The feeling of you retracting your hand from in between her thighs made her fear that you were about to leave right when you were getting started.
Your hand covered in her cum moved upwards, wrapping around the Archon's throat and squeezing just hard enough to make her lose her breath. She looked up at you with wide eyes, seeing the anger in yours. But when you growled under your breath, Ei clenched her thighs together, moaning at your words.
"Bad mistake, my dear Archon."
ENDING NOTES: Kinda hurt to write this, because I hate hurting Sara in any way. But, I also did enjoy it because affairs (in fiction) are a delectable thing.

My Fiancé Gave Me the Silent Treatment for 3 Years but Proposed to His First Love; I Just Laughed Warning: Anti-Gaming, Anti-Yun Jin, Angst, Modern AU Trigger warning: Cheating
For three whole years, F/N's fiancé emotionally abused her. At a once-in-a-decade grand banquet in Liyue, he openly proposed to his first love.
Later, F/N sweetly announced on her social media: 'I'm getting married'.
But Gaming called F/N late at night, “F/N, I never said I was going to marry you.”
F/N chuckled softly, “I never said the groom was you.”
Then, a set of photos spread across the Internet, shocking the entire city. The man who was the heir to one of Natlan's oldest families opened his arms, allowing F/N to throw herself into his embrace, even lowering his head willingly, letting her kiss him.
F/N stood up after putting on the dress.
The makeup artist couldn't help but whisper on awe, “Miss L/N, you look absolutely stunning in this dress.”
F/N gently thanked her and pushed the door open, only to be greeted by a stir downstairs. Through the giant golden revolving doors, F/N saw her fiance of three years, Yip Gaming, publicly escorting a young and beautiful woman. More absurdly, she was wearing the exact same dress as F/N.
Tonight was the banquet the likes of which hadn't seen in decades in Liyue. Everyone present was at the top of the social pyramid, sharp-eyed and astute. Naturally, they quickly realized the dress I was wearing was nothing more than a high-quality knock-off.
For twenty-one years, this was F/N's first time dressing up like this. As it turns out, she was just a well-dressed clown.
“Gaming, who is the lady beside you?” someone curious couldn't help but ask.
Gaming held the woman's hand, “This is my girlfriend, Yun Jin. But after tonight, she'll be my fiancee.”
“And what about Miss L/N?”
Gaming looked at F/N coldly, “The engagement with the L/N family has already been called off. For the past three years, the Yip family has been more than generous to the L/N family.”
He wasn't wrong; if it won't for the hundred million dowry given during our engagement, the L/N family would have gone bankrupt a long time ago. Would my parents still be able to live in luxury?
Gaming then knelt down on one knee, pulling out a diamond ring to propose to Yun Jin. She burst into tears, throwing herself into Gaming's arms. He tenderly wiped away her tears, comforting and kissing her.
F/N watched as Yun Jin was surrounded by those socialite ladies, all eager to engage in lively conversation. After tonight, she will no longer be a minor star or a much-discussed third party. But as for F/N, for the L/N family, there would probably be no place for them in Liyue.
“Can you move?” a voice sounded from behind.
F/N turned to see two socialite looking girls holding plates of hors d'oeuvre, staring at her impatiently and F/N stepped aside.
“Her dress is so cheap.”
“I wonder what kind of fabric this knock-off is made of. Touching it would probably cause a rash.”
“And she still has the nerve to stand here. So embarrassing.”
Expressionless, F/N walked to the corner of the resting area, pretending not to hear the malicious gossip. Her phone rang and F/N's mother's voice came through, angry and humiliated. “F/N, the Yip family is breaking off the engagement and we have to return the fifty million of dowry. Three years and you couldn't even hold on to a man. You're useless. You figure out the fifty million yourself: we won't give a single cent.”
“I heard Mr. Malipo came to Liyue for a vacation and will be attending the banquet tonight.”
“That's unlikely. Mr. Malipo rarely attends such events.”
“You're right. After all, the last time he made a public appearance was on the international news.”
The rustling noise of F/N opening her laptop alerted the two women talking, their conversation coming to an abrupt halt and they slowly walked away.
With her phone beside her with the Stock Exchange app open, F/N opened a tab on her laptop to reveal her stocks portfolio. What everyone had forgotten about her mother's family was that her maternal grandfather had been Liyue's 'God of Stocks' and she had inherited his talent.
Not far away, the banquet had just began; F/N's ex-fiance and his lover were probably enjoying a sweet dance together.
With a couple of taps on her laptop touchpad, F/N sold off several stocks and bonds, very easily accumulating 30 million of the required 50 million with the remaining 20 million garnered from two of her matured time deposits.
“Mr. Malipo, are you going in now?”
Kinich didn't respond, only accepting the cigarette case handed to him by his assistant. He took out a light grey cigarette and opened a small, delicate box. Holding the cigarette between his fingers, he dipped it into the finely ground deep red spice powder. Then, he gently tapped off the excess before extending his hand to his assistant. The assistant quickly handed him a lighter and Kinich lit the cigarette.
“You all go ahead.” Kinich said as he took a few steps towards the yacht's railing. “I'll finish this cigarette.”
The host of tonight's banquet had pulled every possible string for Kinich to show up. Originally, he wasn't interested, but his family Elders had been pestering about marriage over the phone the moment his flight landed. So, he used this event as an excuse to steal some peace. Just halfway through his cigarette, Kinich caught sight of the unmistakable glare of a laptop not faraway. Under the dim moonlight, he noticed the side-profile of the laptop's owner, the contours of her face reminding him of his grandfather's bosom buddy, the fabled 'God of Stocks'. So, that's the granddaughter.
Kinich's phone suddenly rang, alerting F/N of a second person's presence.
“I told you, I'll handle the marriage situation.” Kinich took the call. “Don't worry. I won't let grandpa pass away with any regrets.” he sounded slightly frustrated and lit a cigarette. The glow of the cigarette illuminated his stern profile.
Suddenly, F/N realized she knew Kinich.
At that moment, Kinich turned back and their eyes met.
“I overheard your call.” F/N spoke as Kinich walked towards her. “I have a deal for you.”
“A deal?” Kinich echoed. “Miss L/N, what kind of deal are you proposing?”
“You need a wife.” F/N pointed out, closing her laptop. “Marry me and you'll gain the sole, exclusive services of the 'Securities Empress'.”
“What's your condition?” Kinich asked, intrigued.
“My fiance broke off our engagement and I want him to regret choosing the other woman over me.” F/N declared.
“Broken off?” Kinich frowned.
“Yes.” F/N flashed an unperturbed smile. “Broken off.”
“I accept the deal.” Kinich answered. “But I have one condition; we'll register the marriage in three days. You overheard my call earlier. My grandfather isn't in good health and he's eager to see his grandson's wife enter the family. Is that inconvenient?”
“No.” F/N grinned. “I also get to rub it in my mother's face; she'd always told me that marrying into the Yip family is the best I can do.”
“Then, it's settled.” Kinich nodded. “The day after tomorrow, I'll send someone to pick you up.”
“Wait, how did you know where I live?” F/N blinked.
Kinich remained silent before proceeding to leave.
F/N, too, was about to leaven when Gaming, slightly tipsy, suddenly came over and grabbed her wrist. “F/N, I've been waiting for three years, waiting for you to bow your head and beg me. If you're willing to soften up like those other women, I'll give your family not just a hundred million, but a billion.”
“You're drunk, Gaming.” F/N told him impassively and pushed him away.
But a drunk man is hard to shake off; Gaming's bloodshot eyes stared at F/N, then fixated on the laptop bag she had slung over her shoulder. “Why do you have your laptop here?”
“That's none of your business, Gaming.” F/N fired back.
“None of my business?” Gaming's face contorted slightly. “F/N, I want to see who dares to touch Yip Gaming's woman.” he gripped the laptop bag strap and pulled it off, tearing down F/N's balloon sleeve in the process.
The next second, a sharp voice rang out. “F/N, how shameless can you be?” Yun Jin rushed over, fuming as she raised her hand to slap F/N.
“What's going on here?” a deep voice interrupted, calm yet commanding.
Yun Jin froze, her hand suspended in the air and the next second, Gaming pulled her aside.
The crowd turned to the sound as F/N readjusted her sleeve and someone gasped. “It's Mr. Malipo.”
“Which Mr. Malipo?”
“Who else? Kinich Malipo.”
Kinich only glanced at F/N briefly before looking away. He leaned towards his female assistant and whispered something. She immediately walked through the crowd and picked up the fallen laptop bag, handing it to F/N. “Young Mistress, let me take you downstairs to rest.”
F/N nodded stiffly and thanked her.
As the two women left, the crowd had gone silent.
“Mr. Malipo, it's all a misunderstanding.” Gaming, now mostly sober, carefully tried to explain.
“What misunderstanding?” Kinich's voice remained calm.
“Yun Jin is my girlfriend.” Gaming's voice trembled slightly. “She must have misunderstood and lost her temper just now.”
Kinich's eyes grew sharp as a hint of displeasure crept in. “I don't believe any reputable woman in Liyue would behave in such an uncouth manner.”
Gaming looked embarrassed, as Yin Jin, on the verge of tears, was mortified.
Kinich gave a calm order to his staff, “Escort this lady off the yacht.”
“Gaming...” Yun Jin sobbed, clutching Gaming's sleeve, refusing to let go. Having spent years in the entertainment industry, she understood the severity of the situation. Being escorted off the yacht in this manner would soon become the talk of Liyue; she would become a laughingstock with no hope of recovery.
“Mr. Malipo, I realize my mistake.” Gaming pleaded. “Please give her another chance.”
Kinich glanced at him coldly. “You're welcome to leave the yacht with her., Mr. Yip.”
Gaming clamped his mouth shut, pulling his hand away.
Yun Jin was quickly escorted off the yacht, the crowd on the deck dispersing quietly as well.
As F/N left the yacht shortly afterwards, her phone buzzed with a message from an unknown number. “F/N, it's Kinich. Save my number.”
“Alright, saved.” F/N typed back a message.
“I'll send someone to pick you up in two days.” Kinich's message came not ten seconds later. “Rest well.”
By the time F/N returned to the L/N family home, it was late at night. But no one was asleep. The lights were on and the atmosphere was thick with tension.
The moment F/N walked in, her mother stood up. “F/N, have you thought about a solution? What are you going to do? How did you manage to anger young master Yip and cause him to break off the engagement?”
“Exactly.” F/N's father concurred. “Don't you know, we still rely on the Yip family business to make a living? Fifty million... where are we supposed to get that from now.”
Everyone was blaming F/N; blaming her for not securing Gaming's heart, for not marrying into the Yip family smoothly, so that they could keep sucking the life out of her. But back then when they took the one hundred million dowry from the Yip family to cover their debts and maintain their luxurious lifestyle, did F/N ever enjoy a Mora of it? Now the Yip family wants to break off the engagement and they want F/N to return the fifty million all on her own. Fine, F/N was willing to bear it, but after that, she will break off all ties with the L/N family.
“F/N, say something!”
“I've found a way to get the fifty million.” F/N informed.
“You really have a solution?” F/N's mother's eyes lit up instantly.
“Have you forgotten who grandpapa is, Mother?” F/N reminded. “He's the 'God of Stocks and I have followed in his footsteps. After selling some stocks and bonds and cashing in on some matured time deposits, I'll have the fifty million transferred to the Yip family account tomorrow. Oh yes, at the banquet tonight, I met a wealthy businessman from Sumeru and he recognized me from the BusinessMonth Inc. magazine three months ago. He was so impressed by my credentials, he hired me on the spot to manage his portfolio.”
The room fell silent, F/N's mother's eyes glittered in anticipation of the family's future windfall.
“And oh, I've talked to grandpapa before this.” F/N stopped mid-way up the staircase to the bedrooms. “And he has consented of me disowning myself from the L/N family. Thus, he'll make a formal announcement that not only will I be taking on his last name, I'll be his heiress.”
“What!?” F/N's mother stood up from her seat. “Father can't... he won't...”
In the late afternoon the next day, F/N sent a message to Gaming. “Check your message notification from the bank; the money has been transferred. With this, my family don't own yours anything anymore.”
“Kinich,” F/N then made a call to Kinich. “Could I ask you a favor? Could you not let anyone know about our marriage for now?”
“You don't want people to know?” Kinich sounded disappointed.
“It's just for now.” F/N pacified “I've talked to grandpapa a while ago and he has agreed to let me change my last name to his. So, you have to wait until he made the formal announcement.”
“I'll arrange for someone to pick you up.” Kinich responded.
Just as F/N was looking at her maternal grandfather's public disownment notice of F/N from the L/N family and her acknowledgement notice into his family in the classified section of the newspaper, Gaming called. His voice was hoarse. “F/N, where did you get the money? Fifty million isn't a small amount. The L/N family couldn't possibly come up with that. Who gave it to you? Tell me.”
“That has nothing to do with you.” F/N fired back. “You've received the money. We're done.”
F/N was about to hang up when Gaming called out her name. “F/N, do you think I cared about the fifty million?”
“Whatever you cared about no longer matters to me.” F/N stated curtly.”
“F/N, you need to understand; if I don't give my approval, no man in Liyue will dare to want you.” Gaming threatened.
F/N chuckled softly into the phone. “Is that so?”
“If you don't believe me, feel free to try.” Gaming retorted.
F/N didn't want to waste more words on him and hung up immediately.
“So, your grandfather finally made the announcement.” Kinich's amused voice came over F/N's phone moments after she ended Gaming's call. “Get some rest today. Tomorrow, wear your prettiest dress.”
Kinich must have arranged everything in advance, because the entire process of registering the marriage went by quickly.
After receiving our certificates, Kinich took F/N to the hospital, holding her hand the entire time and making them look like a loving couple.
The elderly Malipo was gravely ill but he managed to smile at F/N, looking somewhat relieved.
After visiting the hospital, Kinich had an important meeting to attend, so he sent his driver to take F/N home to pack her things.
When the L/N family saw the aged driver get out of his car and open the door for F/N, they all assumed this was her new employer.
Completely ignoring her soon-to-be disowned family, F/N pushed past them to go upstairs to pack her suitcase.
The driver took F/N to Kinich's private residence; the house itself wasn't large, but it was peaceful and quiet.
“Madam, Mr. Malipo instructed that you should feel at home.” the driver informed. “He'll return this evening.”
However, at 8pm, F/N received a call from Kinich. He had to return to the head office for an important meeting and wouldn't be back for about a week. “If you get bored, feel free to go shopping or meet up with friends. Don't stay cooped up at home all day.”
Three days later, F/N was making the final preparations for her indictment into her maternal grandfather's family when a notification from her WeTalk popped up; Kinich had uploaded his first post, a picture of their marriage certificate.
In response, F/N also posted something on social media; just three simple words. “Getting married soon.”
That post was flooded with comments in under half an hour, asking about it.
When F/N took the first call, it was Gaming's voice. “So, have you come to your senses? I said I'd give you a chance, but I never said I was going to marry you.”
F/N couldn't help but laugh, “I never said you were the groom.” she hung up immediately and blocked the number.
That night, F/N drank her usual lavender tea and went into a deep sleep; sleeping so soundly that she didn't even realize Kinich had come home.
When F/N opened her eyes, she felt an arm slung over her waist, trapping her to the bed. She bit back a startled scream and turned, seeing Kinich's sleeping face next to her. F/N smiled softly and cuddled against the dark-haired man.
And with that, the pair slept until the late afternoon.
The following day, Kinich left for work again; being in his position, there were countless matters that demanded his attention.
So, F/N obediently stayed home, having already left the indictment ceremony's preparations to the team her maternal grandfather put together. Though she didn't leave the house, the days were exceptionally peaceful and quiet. For first time since she was born, F/N felt the beauty of living a tranquil life; she didn't have to worry about being treated like a commodity her parents. She even started playing the standing harp again, something she hadn't touched in years. She also bought online art courses as a refresher of painting with oils.
After almost a week of this reclusive, peaceful life, F/N's grandfather called one afternoon, informing her of the indictment ceremony that would be held in one of his group's five-star hotels in three days' time.
Several hours later, a glided invitation was sent to Kinich's house, along with a tailored evening gown and jewellery set.
“I'll head straight there when I finish my work.” Kinich assured, looking at the invitation addressed to him.
Three days later, the team of specialized stylists entered the private residence, all ready to doll up their future young mistress.
When F/N arrived at the indictment ceremony, she immediately drew countless of stares. What puzzled her most was this; since Gaming is attending, this event was bound to be prestigious.
“F/N, how dare you show your face here?” Yun Jin's voices was incredulous.
Mrs. Yip also came over, her face dark with anger, “F/N, do you not understand what kind of event this is? You're making a fool of yourself. Why embarrass yourself like this? Don't make this a bigger joke.”
At this moment, Gaming spoke up, grabbing F/N's arm, “F/N, I'm asking you one last time...”
Before he could finish, the entire ballroom fell silent when the emcee suddenly announced, “The Family Head of the Liu Family, Master Liu, has arrived.”
“Who dares bully my granddaughter?” Master Liu barked, entering. “Get out of here!”
“Grandfather.” F/N hurried over to the aged businessman's side.
“A bunch of idiots.” Master Liu roared. “She is my beloved granddaughter; the sole heiress to the Huang Pei Enterprises. Did you hear clearly?”
“Does this mean this indictment ceremony is for her?” the attending guests whispered.
“Impossible!” Gaming was angst. “How can you be from the Liu family? Why didn't you tell me you were from the Liu family?” he demanded. “Did you do this on purpose?”
“So, what you're saying now is that you're blaming my wife?” Kinich spoke up, still dressed in his formal black suit.
Mrs. Yip looked stunned and Gaming was visibly shocked as Kinich made his way through the crowd.
“Uncle Liu.” Kinich addressed Master Liu. “The custom-made dress you gave F/N looks perfect on her. Young Master Yip,” he turned to Gaming. “What were you discussing with my wife just now?”
Gaming, still seemed to be in disbelief, stammered, “Wife?”
“Yes,” Kinich confirmed. “F/N is my wife.”
“Granddaughter, how do you want to deal with them?” Master Liu looked at his heiress.
“Bankrupt Gaming's family and kick Yun Jin out of Liyue.” F/N declared.
“F/N, please, I'm wrong.” Gaming begged. “Please, let my family go.”
“It's too late for regrets now.” F/N smirked.
“F/N, I know you did all of this to get back at me.” Gaming retorted. “I tell you; I only love Yun Jin.”
“Is that so?” F/N smiled coolly. “Yip Gaming, then I ask you; if I give you the chance to abandon Yun Jin in exchange for a managerial position in the Huang Pei Enterprises, will you be willing?”
“I...” Gaming faltered.
“What do you mean?” Yun Jin glared.
“A-Jin, I am a man.” Gaming reminded. “I can't give up my career for love. F/N,” he knelt before F/N, unwilling to let the now more valuable golden goose go. “Take me back. I still love you.”
“Yip Gaming, you scumbag...” Yun Jin sneered.
“Yun Jin, you can't blame me.” Gaming turned back to Yun Jin. “You were the one who offended the Huang Fei Enterprise heiress.”
“Just shut up.” Kinich grabbed Gaming by the collar and threw him off F/N.
After Master Liu had the Yip family thrown out of the venue, the indictment ceremony proceeded.

— 𝑴𝒀 𝑳𝑼𝑺𝑻𝑭𝑼𝑳 𝑯𝑼𝑺𝑩𝑨𝑵𝑫 !4!
It has been a month since Donna had miscarried the baby. The tension in the house was over the roof, but what irritated Diluc further is that you always seemed to be in great spirits.
Their dark circles, weight loss, depressive states — none of that phased you. In fact, there was one time when the redheaded man was getting ready to collect some flowers in the Whispering Woods, and you watched him leave the house whilst standing in the hallway and waving him a good-bye with that shit-eating smirk that never left your face.
There was something evil in your eyes ever since he came back. You were not the same person that he knew once — you felt like a demon. A witch.
Every time he left somewhere, he was terrified that you would do something to Donna. Your actions felt like a slow build-up to a gradual event, and he couldn’t help but worry himself into sickness. Diluc always kept any form of a weapon on himself, and even his lover started sleeping with a knife under her pillow just in case you’ll come back to haunt her once more.
Planning your murder was not an easy task. There were multiple things that they had found in their way.
First, it was your absolute authority over the house and Mondstat. The attack couldn’t happen anywhere where you could have a potential escape route or a protector. You had to either be caught by a surprise, or be forced into attacking first to initiate the whole ordeal.
Second, your servant Marie. She wasn’t always visible, but her spirit was everywhere where you went. Diluc the other day had also caught a sight of a Hydro Vision embedded at the back of the maid’s long black skirt. He wasn’t sure if she specialized in the healing ability or fighting, but as the time went on he did realize one thing for certain — Marie wasn’t a mere servant, she was your personal bodyguard. Knowing you, you wouldn’t have someone responsible for your safety without proper insurance.
Third, your abilities. Even after all these weeks of living under the same roof as you, there was still not much known about you. He had attempted to investigate and find out if there were any potential trump cards that they still weren’t aware of, but he came up to nothing. In fact, the more he dug, the more their murder attempt was feeling less and less possible.
“Donna, there’s only one way that this can be done.” The redheaded man whispered, and his words made the woman tremble and grow pale.
“Absolutely not.” She instantly replied, but instead of a living gaze that she grew to love — eyes as cold as ice stared back at her. Her lover was fed up with everything. He just wanted it all to be over.
“I am giving you a month. If you don’t come up with a new idea — I will get this done the way I see fit.” He warned her, absolutely refusing to back down on his decision.
He couldn’t let you win.
He couldn’t let you win.
He. Couldn’t. Let. You. Win.
Never.
He would rather die.
“But Diluc—“ Donna begged from the bottom of her heart, but her plea was silenced once the man rose a palm before her face, tactically telling her to shut up. Brunette’s heart ached. She felt heavy, as if she was about to crash through the ground and fall down straight into hell itself.
She was losing Diluc.
To you.
There was a knock on the door, and soon no other but Marie had walked through the door. Just a few weeks ago, she would ask for permission before entering. However, the more your terror and power grew, the less Donna and Diluc were respected or cared for by the servants of the house. They all admired you on another level, and saw the two “guests” as nothing more than nuisances.
“Master Y/N is expecting both of you for breakfast.” The maid proclaimed after a small bow of her head. Well, she might have had no respect for their privacy, but she sure was always a well-mannered woman.
“Tell that witch to stop playing fucking house already.” Diluc snarled back like an angered animal. His fists were already clenched just at the thought of you. Marie lightly frowned at the harshness of the words, but didn’t let it show.
“For today’s breakfast we have prepared a freshly made croissant bake topped with cinnamon custard and wild berries.” The maid continued on as if the other two were not even in the room, “You’re expected to be downstairs in 5 minutes, so that the food does not get cold. Do not make Master Y/N wait for you.”
And just as Diluc was about to say further insults into her back, the maid had left the room.
-
“Good morning, you two.” You said the moment the parasites had entered the dining room. You watched Marie pour you another cup of tea. Today it was buckwheat tea with some honey as a sweetener, your personal favorite. The maid’s graceful hands clothed with black velvet gloves carefully moved the ceramic teapot and gently placed it back down. It didn’t even make a sound against the wood of the table once it was put down, “I pray that you had a good night’s sleep.”
“Are you having fun doing all of this?” Diluc snarled at you, and you rose a curious brow. Marie’s expression grew darker, but you put your hand up to stop her.
“Let him speak.” You said to your maid, and although she hesitated, she straightened up her back once again and put her hands behind her back.
“Diluc, stop.” Donna tugged at her lover’s sleeve, but the man instantly pulled away from her.
You watched in amusement as his resentment towards you was now pouring out and poisoning everything around that he loved. A woman that he treasured, carried around in his arms, and claimed to marry in the future — was now humiliated and ridiculed by no other but himself.
“No, Donna, let me tell this bitch exactly what I think.” Diluc said to Donna and began quickly approaching you. You didn’t even flinch, but continued to drink your tea as if nothing was happening, “Tell me, is this.. Fun?” He said almost straight in your face, “Is this.. A twisted desire of yours? Revenge? A fucking joke?!” You watched in disgust as the droplets of saliva from his mouth landed over your dishes.
You picked up a teaspoon and lightly clicked it against the plate. Marie instantly was on your opposite side picking up the dishes off the table. Both Diluc and Donna seemed confused by what was happening, but didn’t say a word.
You stood up from your chair, and stared long and deep into your husband’s eyes. You were trying to find at least small bits of evidence that the man you once loved was still there. However, as you searched — you couldn’t find even the smallest bits. You wondered, what would the Diluc from the past think about this? How would he react to what had happened between both of you? Would he allow himself to live knowing the shame he had brought upon his own family name?
No, that Diluc would choose death over being such a disgusting creature that was in front of you.
“You are just a dead man, fuming with rage and grief. There’s a deep hole in your heart that nothing can fill, and this malice that’s spilling out of you will never end unless you’ll rot away six feet under. You never got over your father’s death, and you make it everyone else’s problem. Well, you know what, Diluc? You’re not the only one who lost something important that day you left.” You could see his vision glowing, as if it wanted to spit fire at you right there and then, “Grow the fuck up already.” You said in a cold tone that made the whole room fall silent. Diluc blinked once, twice, and took a step back. Satisfied, you turned around to where Marie stood, “I will have my breakfast in my office.”
“Of course, Master Y/N.” The maid bowed and then held up the door open for you to leave.
“Ah, and one more thing.” You turned around, but this time you faced the brunette woman rather than the hot-headed idiot, “Donna, darling, you’re only 19 years old. Don’t waste away your years on this disappointment of a man like I did. He’ll turn on you the same way he did on me, then will cheat on you with a younger woman or man, and you’ll be left alone to pick up his shit after him.” You sighed, “I wasn’t always the way I am today. I know that, that feeling that’s been growing in me back then, is now growing in you. Listen to your gut, and make the right decision.” And with that, you finally left the room leaving both of them in a stupor.
-
“Oh, for fucks sake!” Diluc roared like an animal and smashed his fist against the wall. Donna stood behind him, slightly hesitant to move. Ever since she listened to your speech, she couldn’t seem to get her head out of clouded thoughts. You laid the seeds of your plans — to grow them apart as much as you could.
Rightfully so.
“Please, just.. Calm down..”
And it was working.
“Calm down? Calm down?! CALM DOWN?!” The man pulled at his own hair. He really did seem to be slowly losing his mind, “Are you fucking serious with me right now? They are humiliating me!” He let out a small laugh of disbelief, but Donna was dead serious.
“Why don’t you go on a walk? Cool down. Maybe let out some steam fighting Hilichurls. Go do something else except just.. Being here.” She breathed out a suffocated breath. It felt like she had been holding in these words ever since yesterday — and now she was finally able to let them out, “They’re getting into your head, Diluc.”
“They’re getting into MY head? Donna, you’re not making any sense here.” However, the man refused to understand the message behind her words, “Just a few weeks ago you came to me crying your fucking eyes out because you thought that Y/N caused you to have a miscarriage, and now what? You’re telling me to.. Let go? To.. Calm down?! TO. COOL. FUCKING. DOWN?” His voice was increasing in loudness with each word one by one, and Donna could barely hold herself from wincing away.
When had he become this?
Was he always like this?
What was happening to him?
Where did her Diluc go?
“Yes.” She nodded, “I am.”
The man stared at her for one second, two, three.. Time seemed to slow down while he studied her expression as if she was an animal at the zoo. They weren’t talking, but none dared to break the eye contact. One was trying to dominate the other in the disagreement by using pure intimidation. Donna wasn’t sure how successful her attempt was, but suddenly, her lover took quick steps right towards her and roughly grabbed her by the chin.
The brunette froze in place; feeling like a helpless bunny before a hungry wolf. He squeezed her flesh tight to the point that it burned. Her hiss of pain didn’t stop him, but only seemed to make the grip stronger. She would be shocked if it wouldn’t bruise later.
“Wipe that look off your fucking face.”
It felt like he could see you looking at him through Donna’s eyes.
Diluc finally let go, and almost made his lover fall down to the ground. The man quickly walked past, grabbed his coat, and headed through the hallway to the right. Soon, the loud bang that shook the whole mansion had echoed through the walls. He left. Thank god, he left. Relief washed over Donna’s psyche; her heartbeat was starting to slow down and she began to take deep breaths in and out.
She had no clue what to do anymore.
-
You sat in front of a chess board in your office. You carefully observed the crafted pieces before you, and hummed in thought. Eventually, you picked up the Queen and King off the board and showed them up to Marie who stood by the exit door.
“I am the King.” You announced, “And you — are the Queen. You do whatever I tell you to, and you protect me at the cost of your life. However, you are more than just a Queen — you can jump through pieces, you can go multiple times in a row, and you can engulf as many in your way as I desire.” Marie smiled, but remained silent, “And I am more than just a King, however, what I share in common with the King is that if I fall — the game will be over not just for me, but for everyone.”
“Marie?” You called out to your servant, who looked up at you with adoration. She already knew what you were going to ask, “If I told you to die for me, would you?”
“Of course, Master Y/N.”
You laughed in her face.
“If I told you to let me die. Would you?”
This time, with more hesitation, “Y-yes, Master Y/N.”
“Is that so? How adorable.” You couldn’t stop yourself from chuckling. This feeling of power over others was just as addictive as a drug. The people of this house held you in such high regard, that they would even go against Barbados himself for your sake.
Suddenly, your expression went cold, “Then you are no Queen.. Just another pawn.” Your gaze shifted once more onto the wooden figures held in your hands, “Remember this — anything and anyone can be replaced, but the King.”
You dropped the chess pieces in your palms straight onto the chess board. The pieces clacked, and flew all across the table.
Chaos..
Discord..
Malice..
Death.
-
Weeks were passing by, and Donna was still out of options. Now, with a further sober mind, she wasn’t sure what she was meant to propose to Diluc in order to change his mind. If only they could just run away, but they were held like hostages to their own fates — prisoners of your home. Until this day, Diluc still called it “his” mansion, but anyone who wasn’t a complete cretin knew the truth. You’ve long planted seeds, strengthen roots, and bloomed in this house. They were strangers here, no matter how hard one would look.
“Donna, did you come up with a solution?” Diluc creeped up behind her like a ghost; she didn’t even hear his steps nor sensed his presence.
“H-honey.. Can we just.. Run away from here? Maybe we’ll build a cabin in the woods where nobody will find us.. And live there.. Forever?” The woman grabbed at his shirt and pressed herself closer to his chest. She could hear his heartbeat, but it sounded cold. Distant. Like an echo.
Diluc gently took Donna by her shoulders, and pushed her away to look deep into her eyes. Those eyes were the ones of a dead man who had learned how to walk and talk, but it was easy to tell that he had long abandoned dreaming and living.
She had lost him.
This was it.
“I won’t rest until that bitch is fucking dead.”
A chill ran through Donna’s spine. She froze, and didn’t even care to chase after him as he walked off into the distance. She shouldn’t have said anything to him that day when she lost her child, she gave him an idea — that turned into an obsession. He had become a sick man. No, he had always been a sick man, it was just..
It was just..
That he loved Donna before.
But he didn’t anymore.
His love for Donna, was replaced with hatred for you, and it seemed like Diluc’s heart only had place for one person.
It was her time to let go.
And so, the brunette slowly turned herself around to go back to the guest bedroom to pack away her things and leave this cursed mansion. She had enough money to hire an adventurer to escort her to Liyue. There was no more life left for her in Mondstat, not after what she had done. Not after what Diluc was about to do.
Perhaps.. They liked flowers in Liyue as well.
-
You knew that he was approaching, and fast. His footsteps echoed across the hallway long before he even reached your door. You and Marie exchanged a look; already expecting what was to come. After all, the walls were quite thin within the mansion.
When Diluc flew into the room, he had resembled a beast far more than a human. There was fire in his eyes — perhaps this was the first time that he had truly looked alive since the day that he came back to you. A lost hound had returned to its owner to consume it alive. You’ve ran out of things that could saturate his hollowing hunger.
“In Fontaine, you have the right to fight for your honor with a duel.” He said while staring down at you. You sat at your work desk on a massive red velvet chair whilst playing with a pen between your fingers. Your movements stopped, and you looked up at him with a smirk.
“Is that so?” You chuckled; feeling amused, “I am saddened to disappoint you, but you do so with a dualist assigned by the Chief of Justice.”
“Either you fight me or everyone in this mansion dies.” The red-headed man threatened you, at which you couldn’t contain your laughter anymore.
“They can all die.” You shrugged, “Dying for me is an honor, Diluc.” The man rolled his eyes at your response, but didn’t give up.
“Either you fight me — or I will set the whole of Mondstat on fire.” At first, you wanted to instantly reply back — ‘You wouldn’t do that’ — but with another second of staring into his eyes you knew for sure that he had truly lost his mind. He had nothing left to stay for, “I will murder citizens, women, children.. I will cause chaos, until I am stopped. However, you are able to prevent the loss of those lives by agreeing with me right here and right now to fight for honor.” He took one step after another, and eventually placed both of his palms against the table and leaned in closer towards you, “I wouldn’t be surprised if I am not the only one in the need of honor cleansing.”
You couldn’t care less about the humans’ lives, however, if the word got out that Diluc would not have committed crimes have you agreed to a duel, but you haven’t, it would greatly affect your reputation. Damaging to your reputation, would damage your status, damaging status, would damage the business, damaging the business would damage sales, and then slowly and eventually..
You will also be left with nothing.
“A duel it is.” You stood up and straightened out your hand. With hesitance, Diluc shook it, “One of us will not see the dawn, do you agree for such a risk?”
“You don’t have to ask me twice, Y/N.”
-
Dueling is about recovering your honor, it was not an act of killing.
There were many important rules to a proper duel. First of all, such were not allowed in the country of Freedom and winds. Thus, it had to happen in the country of Geo and contracts, where both you and Diluc had signed the appropriate documentations which were overlooked by Lady Ningguang herself. Since both you and Diluc were considered to be individuals of high status, it applied even further complications to the whole ordeal.
You ensured that the vision from Diluc was confiscated, and that he was not allowed to use weapons he was further familiar with than you. So, the claymores and the swords were off the weapon choice. Both of you had signed for the weapon to be a loaded pistol. Your husband requested for them to not come from the production of your company, thus, also disabling any potential advantages from your side.
The day had come. Strangely enough, you did not feel nervous. You felt oddly excited.
Standing back-to-back with Diluc made you realize that it had been years since you were able to feel his warmth against your skin. It was a paralyzing feeling. This was probably the last time that you would feel it, but the idea of that brought you strange comfort.
You looked around, before you stood an audience of people, friends, and even some distant families. You could see in the center of the seating lady Ningguang together with her two most trusted servants by each of her sides. You could also see the glimpse of Master Jean, the Traveler, and even Paimon. You weren’t sure if the sights which were about to transpire were worth witnessing. There were also guards standing in each corner of the podium, ready to intervene under lady Ningguang’s orders if she thought that the duel had gotten too far.
Well, it was definitely going to get too far.
Dueling is about recovering your honor, it was not an act of killing. However, you and Diluc were gathered here today to kill one another. One of you can exist only with the death of the other. There was no loophole or another solution to this.
The loaded gun rested heavy in your palm, but you didn’t shake nor sweat. You had long abandoned fear or attachment to living.
There was a loud voice, you didn’t know what they said, but you knew what had to be done. 20 steps, and fire. 20 steps, and fire. 20 steps, and fire.
In 20 steps, your life was about to change forever.
20..
19..
Your heart was starting to squeeze, but the adrenaline rush kept you going forward. You stood proud and confident. Your chest was puffed out, and your movement never lost its grace.
18..
17..
The face of young Diluc flashed before your eyes. He used to be so happy, so full of life, and filled with passion. If only that boy had known he would grow up into such a monster.
17..
16..
You looked down at your gloves. You put on the best pair that you had. White silk with a black beautiful design stitched by hand. It also had some pearls situated at the corners of the black lines. This pair had come all the way from Inazuma, and last time you had worn them was on your wedding day.
16..
15..
The weather today was perfect. It was sunny, and it was easy to stay warm even in lighter clothes. However, the fresh breeze of a wind made you feel refreshed just how you would in winter. The sun of Mondstat, and the wind from Dragonspine, all the way in Liyue. The Archons were truly having a laugh at you.
15..
14..
You noticed that Donna was also present in the audience. She had been crying for a long time. There was a handkerchief in her palm, her eyes were swollen and puffy, her pupils surrounded by wine-red. Poor girl, you thought, but you felt no empathy. Karma would catch up with her as well, the same way how karma was catching up with you today.
14..
13..
You were trying to recall what you had for breakfast today, and couldn’t remember. Ever since you started preparing for your death, the days and nights have blended into one. You were truly in the moment — in the present — today.
13..
12..
For some reason, you wondered whether Diluc remembered the day of your birthday. Did he remember your anniversary? Did he remember the day when your parents had passed away?
12..
11..
You saw Kaeya sitting in the audience as well. He gave you a weak smile when he caught your glimpse towards him, and you couldn’t help but shake your head in irony of it all.
11..
10..
You noticed that Marrie was not present, just how she had promised. After all, you entrusted the last task to her. You knew she’d get it done. You knew that she wouldn’t get involved.
She was free.
10..
9..
You wondered what the life would have been like, if instead of running away, Diluc actually would have come to you for comfort. What if he had processed his grief, and the two of you would have moved on? Maybe you would have children by now. Perhaps, also dogs, cats and horses.
Maybe you would have been happy.
9..
8..
You saw a shadow of your parents standing right before you. Their faces were covered with a faint light glow. This made you wonder, you couldn’t quite recall how their faces had looked like. Or the sound of their voices. No, you couldn’t even remember what it felt like to have your father smile at you or what was it like for your mother to tell you bedtime stories. Those were luxuries of the past.
The dead had come to visit, as if already decided upon the fate that was about to be bestowed. There was no way around this, was there?
8..
7..
You could hear Diluc’s angry panting all the way from where he was standing. He was fuming. He was raging. He was burning from inside out from hatred and agony. He had decided that getting rid of you would put everything to a stop. That he would stop feeling like a monster was eating him alive. That he would be finally put out of his misery.
Oh, how wrong could one be.
7..
6..
You thought back to when Diluc had proposed to you for the first time. You were still just kids, and both of you had no clue that it was already decided that both of you will get married for diplomatic reasons. He had braided a stem alongside another stem of small, delicate flowers into a ring and a flower crown. He had gifted those to you, with a pure smile and a faint peach blush hovering his cheeks. You were in love.

You thought back to when Diluc had got his vision. At first, you were a bit jealous. After all, everyone wanted to have a vision. And knowing that both of your parents had one, however, you didn’t, always made you feel a bit petty inside. You could recall begging him to use his pyro abilities, because you wanted to see the magic, oh so badly! He asked you, which animal did you want him to make. Without any hesitation you replied, a bird!

You thought back to when the detectives that you have hired to investigate your husband’s disappearance first told you that they thought Diluc had passed away. Your whole world came crushing down. You felt sick right then and there. You were dizzy for weeks, the doctor’s couldn’t help you. There was one professor from Sumeru who decided to take your case and heal you from a “broken heart”.
In reality, it was a congestive heart failure. The causes were unknown. Your medications kept you stable for some time, but there wasn’t much time left.

You thought.. You thought.. You thought..
Almost as if time had come to a stop.

It was very sunny that day. You were a bit hungry, but felt too nervous to eat in the morning. After all, it was going to be the day that your life would change once and for all — you were going to be with your soulmate forever.
"Do you take Y/N as your lawful partner, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"
The priest had asked Diluc the question, but he didn’t even need any time to think. The clear and loud “yes” had slipped past his lips even before the other could finish his sentence. The old and wise Priest smiled at the lovebirds, and the two of you sealed yourselves in a kiss — a promise.
Until death do us part.

Traitor
scaramouche x reader angst
In which Scaramouche prefers Haypasia's presence more than yours.
angst, cheating, no comfort
You have been wandering with Scaramouche ever since his second betrayal. Being by his side as his lover, never leaving his side, you promised after all.
So why is it that he built up his walls again? Why is it that he's so cold to you lately?
He has fatui duties, you know that. However, he could at least spare some time for his beloved, right?
"Hey scara?"
"What?"
"Do you think we can have lunch together tomorrow? Its been so long, and it's our anniversary."
"I'm busy."
"How about at night then?"
"I'm busy."
"Surely you have at least an hour to spare? It's a really special day-"
"I already said that i'm busy. Are you so imcompetent that you can even comprehend what 'busy' means?"
Tears threatened to escape your eyes at this point. You don't need to look at him to feel his cold glare.
"Sorry, I uh-"
Words struggled to come out as the tightness in your throat go worse.
"I don't want to deal with you right now. I already have a lot on my plate, and you being so fucking clingy is so annoying."
And with that, he left you alone in the once warm and fuzzy house you both called 'home'.
You decided to hang out with your friends to keep your mind off the eariler events.
All was well, you finished a delicious dinner with them, and while leaving one of your friends tripped and fell facefirst into the concrete floor.
But as soon as you bid goodbye to your friends, you caught a glimpse of indigo hair. Next to a young maiden of green hair. They were leaving a fancy resturant together.
Heh. That's weird.
'I thought he was busy.'
You tried to turn away, but he already met your eyes.
Smirking, he exchange a few words with the young woman. He then tipped her chin up, bought her lips closer to his, and connected them.
The world stilled as your vision blurred, the tightness in your throat returned.
You quickly fled the scene before he could make you see more.
Slamming the door to your 'home' open, it felt so empty. Something felt out of place, you felt out of place.
The image was burned into your mind, you wanted to gag. To hear him say that it wasn't real. To hear him say that you are still his one and only.
It hurts. It hurts so bad. It's as if the house itself was mocking you.
Pictures of the two of you, memories of the sweet moments that took place here, all thrown into your face.
You decided to leave. You packed everything you owned. Eyeing the matching bracelet he got you, you snatched it off and threw it in a bin somewhere, leaving the memories behind along with him.

okok I just got this idea in my head.
alhaitham and you were already in an established relationship and he gave you lots of affection and praise. this led to you falling in love with him more.
one day, he leaves you alone in your bedroom in the evening. you soon woke up, wondering what had happened - you ask kaveh (you 3 live together) where alhaitham had gone, but all he knew was that he was gonna go to a restaurant/cafe.
you think, “oh! he’s probably getting us some take away. maybe I should go follow him and say hello!” with a smile on your face, you get out of your pajamas and head outside.
once you arrived at the cafe, you saw alhaitham and another person. wanting to come and surprise him, you hid behind a wall. but as soon as you were about to come out, you saw him kiss the person.
you couldnt believe what was happening. it was like your life really was flashing before your eyes. alhaitham was your life.
you can continue the rest of the story <3
Oh my god the angst with this one! You came to the right person lol, gender neutral reader. Tagged as cheating as well.
---
When Kaveh told you about where Alhaitham was, you got the idea to surprise him by joining him while he ordered dinner. You liked being around him, his warmth was so comforting.
You find him, not yet seen by him, and he enters the café. You decide to hide for a bit, to plan the nicest moment to walk in, but unfortunately for you that doesn't happen.
He walks up to a well dressed individual, and he pulls them in and kisses them on the lips before pulling away, sitting with them while they start to eat.
You back up slowly, processing the entire thing, before running back home. Thankfully the distance was small, but it still felt like you had been running for hours as you run in. Kaveh had been making up a meal for himself, dropping the pan on the floor out of surprise when the door slams. Checking the contents in the pan were still in there, he nips out to see what happened.
You must have seen Alhaitham do somethjng really stupid, he had never seen you like this before. He was thinking maybe Alhaitham had told you off for leaving the house instead of waiting for him to return.
"He kissed someone else." You croak out, finally letting the tears fall. "He kissed them and sat down with them to eat."
"Oh, that absolute buffoon." Kaveh tuts, inviting you to sit and wait while Kaveh became the most supportive friend he could be.
--
"Oh, good evening, Alhaitham. I didn't know you were dating this person, given you have someone waiting back home for you." Kaveh grits his teeth, Alhaitham looking up out of shock.
"Oh, I'm just a side piece. A little something to enjoy on the side." The person explains, fully knowing Alhaitham was a taken man.
"Oh, well I have some spectacular news for you! You've just been promoted to the main dish." Kaveh cheers, people looking over to figure out what happened.
"You wouldn't want to break this to _, would you?" Alhaitham states, cutting into his meal. "Don't break 'bro code'."
"Unfortunately, Alhaitham, they came along to surprise you." Kaveh shrugs, Alhaitham looking away in shame. "They told me what they saw, and I had to see for myself to make sure there wasn't a misunderstanding. Really, Alhaitham, you ruined a rare relationship. They loved you." Kaveh shakes his head, walking out.
"Kaveh, please let me explain-"
"Explain what? Explain that you couldn't keep it in your pants?" Kaveh asks, storming out as Alhaitham turns to finish his meal.
--
You had packed your bags while Kaveh was away. This was clearly the end of your relationship, and it really hurt. You lived in his house, you had slept with him, he was many of your firsts. Now, you couldn't bear to be there. He was your whole life, and now he had ended things in the worst way you could think, you had to think of where to move to.
Kaveh finally got home, shaking his head, and turning to see you preparing to leave, looking for any last minute accommodation you could go into.
"I have a friend who works as the forest watcher. He's been thinking of getting someone to act as his representative, someone who can do the things you can." Kaveh thinks out loud. "How about I lead the way? I'm sure he'll take you, and he could sort something out with accommodation."
