Olivia is in her mid-twenties in the mid-1920's, so it was time for another look at what she's wearing ❤️

Olivia is in the majority of women at the time that are not of the means to be a glamorous flapper - her pastel colors are what she can afford as a working city woman (and what she prefers!), and she doesn't have the time or energy after work to go out and party in the upscale areas of town or sew clothes in more beautiful colors for herself. Her indulgences are few - a lesser grade fur coat she saved up for, and her navy blue silk pajamas in the new jumpsuit style.

Dear Vector Prime. Is there a universe where Optimus Prime took the lives of all Autobots and Decepticons?

Dear Morbid Machiavellian,

While the scenario you describe is rare, I am aware of one universe where such an event occurred. In this reality, both the Autobots and Decepticons fought against the Liege Maximo and his Maximal Empire—but their fighting was for nought, as the tyrant had merely been biding his time until his ultimate weapon was created. The Liege Maximo had manipulated the arrogant Jhiaxus into creating a pulsewave generator that would instantly kill any Cybertronian who it touched, and when he unleashed this "death wave", the Autobots and Decepticons alike were wiped out. The lone survivor was Optimus Prime—the Matrix he carried in his chest protected him from the wave's effects, at the cost of its crystal core being extinguished.

The Liege's aim was to cause the mass, simultaneous entering of millions of Cybertronian life-forces into the Realm of All Sparks, creating a breach that he would be able to use to transcend from material reality into the cosmic spheres... and he would have succeeded, if not for the actions of Optimus Prime. Acting on instinct, Optimus opened the emptied Matrix, drawing all the released sparks into it; he took the lives of all Autobots and Decepticons into his own body, protecting them from the Liege Maximo's predations, and evolving him into the mighty Optimus Primus.

With the life-force of all of Cybertron coursing through his body, Optimus Primus took the Liege Maximo on in single combat, eventually breaching the villain's chest and revealing his spark to the world. Optimus opened the Matrix once again—but this time, a single force emerged: the ghostly essence of Megatron. Furious at having been used for another's schemes, Megatron tore the Liege Maximo's life spark from his body, and dragged it screaming into the under-void: the space below even the Realm of All Sparks, from which no light can ever emerge.

In the aftermath, Optimus relinquished the power of Optimus Primus, returning the sparks of the Autobots and Decepticons to their bodies. A few chose instead to pass on to the Realm of All Sparks, feeling their time had come, while others remained within the Matrix, wishing to pass on their knowledge and wisdom to the next generation of Cybertronians after the war. And one, Starscream, was trapped in a limbo state—having fled from the pull of the Matrix, he was left as a ghost, unable to be returned to his body or to pass on to the realm beyond.

NEWS: A new Pokemon Center set has been announced titled Jirachi Hoshi Tsunagi. (Jirachi Star Sign) This set will be released in Japan on June 29th.

If you live in Japan, the Pokemon Cafe will be adding Jirachi themed food items to their menu for this event. These food items will be out on July 1st.

Several weeks had passed since Billie had confessed to Rosie. She hadn't attempted more than once text in that time, knowing how her best friend needed space when she was fuming. Eventually she was having a particularly down day and missed Rosie with a terrible ache.

She didn't expect a response. If she did get one, she was expecting to have Rosie reach through the screen of the phone and tear Billie's face from her skull. She didn't deserve a response after what she did.

Which was why she was thrilled to receive three little letters.

Billie met Rosie on the porch. They stared at each other for a few moments. The hormones made it difficult for Billie to resist tearing up. Rosie was looking at the house with a mixture of feelings running across her face. Eventually they made eye contact.

"Hey," Rosie said.

"Hey."

There was silence again. Billie gestured at the front door. "Do you want to come in? It's getting hard for me to stand for long periods."

Rosie nodded and followed her into the house. It was weird to see; in some ways it looked exactly the way her mother had left it. In others, it was very much Billie's aesthetic. She saw Billie had kept most of Penny's garden blooming.

"I hired a gardener," Billie said. "I can't keep them alive, but they should still be tended. For Penny."

"You never did like getting your hands dirty."

"I still don't. I pay a lot for these nails and I'm not going to jack them up acting like I live in the forest."

Rosie sat down on the couch next to Billie. There was another awkward silence. Rosie was starting to regret coming over. Seeing Billie's stomach made her uncomfortable with a messy bag of feelings. She was happy for her friend to experience motherhood, but wanted to slap her still for her choice in baby daddy. On the other hand, she had seen them together; they were truly happy. Billie, who always had her head on a swivel for the next cute boy, had eyes finally for only one person.

"I know you don't want to hear it," Billie started. "But I need to say it again. I'm really, truly sorry, Rosalie. I really am. It really was just a good time at first and I knew you wouldn't care if we were partying together. That's not a betrayal. But I should have told you the second it got physical and I didn't. It's the biggest regret of my life, you have to believe me." Her voice was cracking and choking up, but she powered through her speech anyways.

"I have never been more sorry in my life. It kills me that I hurt you this bad. I would take it back if I could. I miss you. I miss my best friend."

Rosie's face was hard to read. Billie was shaking with nerves.

"Do you actually love him?" Rosie asked coolly. "This isn't just another one of your whims? Is Sam Mr. Monday?"

Billie shook her head. "No, he's Mr. Everyday. I do love him. I don't want to, but I do. Your brother is kind and gentle and forgiving. He listens. I'd be happy to marry him."

"If I asked you to break up, would you? Would you choose me over him?"

"Would you really ask that of me? I would. God, I hate this, but I would. If you really asked me to."

Rosie was quiet again, weighing everything her friend had said to her. They had been friends for literal decades with no fights. They barely had tiffs when they lived together. From the very first day they met in grade school, Billie had been on her side, had been her ride or die person. She made a huge mistake, but it was the only one in forty years of friendship.

"Okay."

"Okay what?"

"I forgive you."

Billie burst into tears, covering her face and grumbling about hormones and how sorry she was still. Rosie hugged her close while the emotions died down. She even shed a few tears herself.

"Never again, though," Rosie said. "Don't you ever betray me like that again, Billie Jang. Now, let me feel that baby."

Billie sniffed and wiped her eyes. "I literally can't understand how you carried two of these things at once. One is bad enough."

Following up with a lookbook & pseudo introduction for our 1920's romantic prospect - Luca is a blue collar Italian immigrant displaced as a child by the 1908 Messina earthquake that caused incomparable damage in Southern Italy. Southern Italians were among some of the most maltreated expats at this time in history, not made any better by the rise of unions in America and of anti-fascist anarchism in Italy and among Italian-Americans. Luca himself is serious, fiery, and driven, motivated by him and his friends' deadly working conditions and the troubling rise of Fascism in his home country. Only time will tell if he can put his righteous anger and determination away to focus on a family life with the cards he's been dealt.

Noor was sharing the adventures of trying to give her newest grandchild, little Simadhne, solid food.

- Like mother like daughter, Eira said, because I remember Areth doing exactly the same a long time ago.

- Well, to my defense, I don't like polenta, Areth tried to say.

- You ungrateful child, Noor laughed. Little Simadhne will teach you a lesson or two about the injustice of the world, I'm sure. Now hush off and get your vegetables so I can have a private talk with your auntie.

- She will become a wonderful mother, Eira commented. She is so much like you. It must be wonderful to have her so close.

- Yes, things have turned out so well for our family. I'm really happy for her. How are things with Khara? Any hope for a grandchild?

- Not that I know of, but you know, it's still early, they just got married.

- Do you think they might stay? Or do you think she will follow Samuel back to Kastanea?

- I don't know. Samuel is now the rightful owner of Kyria Figélia's house, but he will still need to work. They can't live on his savings forever. So I am a bit worried.

- And Bansabira, any news there?

- Nope, still single and living at home. She is filling her days with artwork and studies, but she needs a family. I've suggested a few candidates, but she is not interested. I worry about her.

- Hmmm.

- Is that what our lives going to be from now on Noor? Worrying constantly about our children? Even as grown ups?

- Probably, Noor laughed. But at least Areth and Phaidros are doing well and are both married with children now. Tychon is still living at home, but he is surprisingly popular with the ladies, despite the fact that he is a real slob. I honestly don't understand what they see in him, but I will not be surprised if he gets married early. And he has a good job in construction, so he will be all right.

- And Myrto?

- Oh Myrto, my little heart. Eira, she is really special. Of course they all are, but she is one of a kind. So lighthearted, so funny and quick-witted. Still innocent, yet open to the world. She reminds me of myself at her age. She is a dreamer, but she is still young, she will be fine. I hope. At least at the moment I'm not worried about her. But...

- But what?

- Honestly, I am really worried about Teo and Mpatíni. I can't put my finger on it, but there is something going on between them.

- We've all experienced some marital disagreements, don't you think it will pass?

- No, this is not a simple marital quarrel. The don't talk, they seem to avoid each other. It's been developing over years now. Ever since Iliouloùsta came to us, but I don't believe it has to do with her. They both seem to love her very much. We all do.

- Whatever it is, there is not much we can do about it, is there? They will have to work it out for themselves.

- You are right of course. I'm just sad to see them so unhappy.

- What about you Noor, are you happy?

- Me? Yes of course! What kind of question is that?

- I mean, we've been talking about our children back and forth now, but what about you, are you happy with your life?

- What do you mean? Why shouldn't I be happy? All my children are doing well, well most of time anyway, so...?

- Yes I know, but what about your life? Do you feel satisfied with what you have achieved? Do you think life is worth living?

- Eira, you always complicate things! Of course life is worth living, what a silly thing to say! I'm fine, the family is fine, you are fine. It's just small worries. It's normal. Hey, wait! Are you not feeling well? Is there something wrong with you that you are not telling me?

- No, no, I'm okay. It's just... Well sometimes I feel that something is missing in my life. Never mind, maybe it will be better if I get grandchildren. Something to focus on. At least Polykarpos is dating

- Oh is he now?

- Yes there seems to be a new girl every week, so I don't know if he will settle down or anything like that. We will just have to wait and see. I had hopes for Khara and Samuel, but...

- What about Yousif?

- Yousif? Kyrios Eláïom? What about him?

- Are there any news?

- No, he is still in Kastanea according to Samuel. I don't think he will ever come back here. The long journey... And he is not a young man after all.

- You miss him.

- Miss him? I really don't... Okay he is a nice man, and I miss the conversations.

- Eira, surely it must be allowed to admit that you like him? Even if you're well into adulthood, it's okay to fall in love, isn't it?

- No, my goddess, in love?! Ugh, how embarrassing. That's for young people. Stop teasing me.

- I'm not teasing. You are in love, you miss him and you want him in your life. That's why you are asking all these silly question about life worth living and such high-flying philosophical stuff. Be honest! If not with me, so at least with yourself!

- Don't be silly!

- Just think about it. Send him a message! Maybe he feels the same? Maybe he will give up everything in Kastanea just to be with you?

- Oh Noor, you are such a romantic dreamer. That will never happen.

- Sister, have a little faith. Contact him. What is there to loose?

- I'm just realistic.

- More like fatalistic.

- Look! There is Kyria Anaktoría! Let's say hello!

- The fact that you are avoiding the topic proves my point.
