I got a fb notification I really didn't want, which prompted me to go and do some more tidying up and removing the last remaining connections to my exes on there
But in doing so, i get to appreciate a final parting cute thought
When they got married, they /swapped/ surnames. They both took the others name, but they don't have the same name
I don't know what they ended up chosing for the kids, but that idea of swapping isn't something I've encountered before and it's quite a nice idea
#Confusing use of 'they' in the post#The prompt was a notification about Mat (an ex) so I unfriended him and in doing so also checked mutual friends which included Aarons wife#So the they is Aaron and his wife - they are the ones who swapped names#It was nice to see a photo of him and the babies#For the first and maybe last time#But having the magic mirror of connection and these digital threads is not helpful or natural#One day it will be cleared#... That makes me wonder where I kept the physical wedding invitation. Might still be in my old room.#...#Anyway.#Let's leave it at that before I start having any other thoughts#10 years#For me#He probably counts it differently#If he thinks of it at all#My life#Wait actual tags#Gender neutral names#Gender neutral tites#Gender neutral terms#Marriage#Names

My ho time taught me that evil men aren't great at sex, generally ranging from just bad to outright dangerous. Given Sousuke's track record of almost cartoonish violence, I think it's safe to say he falls on the latter end of the spectrum. Now, you COULD say I'm wrong because Tite seems to be largely asexual in his depiction, where there's only like... all of four married couples during the manga period, but no art exists in a vacuum. Even if Tite didn't intentionally do so, Sousuke still, even inadvertently, a sexual being. I think exploring that really cements how evil Sousuke is.
I cannot emphasize this enough: This isn't p.ornography; this is an exploration of the sexuality of a very evil person. Details of gore, misogyny, battery, gendered violence, relationship abuse, sexual assault, fetishism, & general adult topics are explored in depth. Reader discretion is advised.
I've explored Sousuke's fascination with hyperviolence in the past, so I won't be reiterating it here. However, it's weird how enthralled he appears to be, like when he smiles in chapter 170 after stabbing Momo, & in chapter 532 during White vs Masaki. He looks content after seeing Gin disembowel the former 3rd seat of gobantai in TBTP. I have trouble articulating the emotions I see in him, but it's definitely reminiscent of some more depraved shit I came across as a ho.
It's safe to say anguish & exploitation arouse him, which is hard for some people to believe, but let's take a look at fetish, & I'll start with something anecdotal.
My time doing sex work exposed me to a lot of fetishists. It was mostly in-person scenes until I stopped doing sex work about six years ago. In the last two or three years, I started taking commissions, & have done many fetish works. Considering I was doing in-person work as a teen for pedophiles, the fetishists I met were surprisingly tolerable, & I don't have any commissioners now from the fetish community that I dislike. I've had overwhelmingly good experiences from foot fetishists who have commissioned me.
The most recent commission I was asked to write from a foot fetishist was for a young lady in stockers (the device) whose husband tickles the soles of her feet until she's sweating & crying. There's nothing pornographic about the imagery, but it's the context of sensuality & BDSM that makes it a masturbatory aid.
(I will not be sharing the story itself to protect the privacy of my client.)
I'm getting to the point, I promise.
There's a lot of debate on what causes fetishism & defines fetishism, but generally, I regard it as something that isn't inherently sexual such as balloons, hair, or asphyxiation causing sexual arousal or being used to cause or assist in the achievement of orgasm.
I have known people with blood & violence fetishes.
This isn't me trashing on kink or fetishism. I don't think fetish is inherently a disorder or anything deviant. It's something that exists as an entirely neutral quality of a person. However, it's worth noting that Sousuke is experiencing sexual arousal from nonsexual situations. That is fetishism. It just so happens that Sousuke is an asshole.
I'm certainly not saying he doesn't enjoy the visage of cisgender women. Sousuke does like breasts, pussy, buttocks, etc, but it alone isn't what gets him off.
I'll explore the details of Sousuke's misogyny another time, but given that Sousuke is heterosexual & misogynistic, the infliction of violence against women is especially arousing. While a violence fetish isn't necessarily predatorial, Sousuke is a predator. Given his engagement with violence & misogyny throughout the series, it's not a leap to see he engages in violence & rape culture. The details become a matter of personal opinion, however. Communicating this is most easily done through my portrayal of AiHina.
Sousuke & Momo have a commonwealth marriage because Sousuke, accurately, thought a relationship would be the simplest avenue to manipulate Momo. Now, I don't ascribe any cluster B personality disorder to Sousuke on principle, Narcissistic Personality Disorder included, but the abuse he subjects her to is definitely narcissistic abuse. I will explore more about the details of their relationship another time.
What arouses him is causing fear in Momo, so he will scream at her over innocuous shit & hit her. Because being arrested for being a wife-beater would be an obstacle to his goals, Sousuke doesn't hit her face, but hits her limbs & torso, which causes her to a) cry from shock, pain, & emotional turmoil & b) bruises her, & potentially breaks bones, which causes her to be in somewhat visible pain depending on how astute the individual is. Sousuke isn't, so mostly, he enjoys seeing her naked & very thoroughly bruised. He enjoys strangling Momo, specifically because she'll thrash & claw at him to get air while she is crying, & also enjoys seeing her black out. Additionally, he does coerce & sometimes even forces her to have sex with him... which is longhand for rape. If she agrees, he still gets to see her uncomfortable & in emotional turmoil. If she outright refuses, he can then force her. He often pins Momo by her throat & rapes her.
Anal sex takes a great deal of prep to do comfortably, including washing the orifice of fecal matter, giving the orifice time to acclimate to the presence of something being pushed inside of use, usually done using toys, generous lubrication, & a lot of patience.
But Sousuke enjoys Momo's pain, so he forgoes all preparation. While Sousuke enjoys the tightness of the anus, that isn't what arouses him. It's her anguish. If she resists physically or verbally, he'll beat the back of her head &/or pin her down by the back of her neck, which suffocates her.
Sousuke does masturbate & fantasizes as an aid. Often, he can vividly picture slitting Momo's throat. He can see her struggling & gurgling. He can see the spurting arterial bleed. Without fail, he climaxes when blood covers her breasts. This is his favorite fantasy, but he has others.
Unfortunately, he also likes penetrating open wounds. Occasionally, he will masturbate to the fantasy or have wet dreams of cutting open Momo's breast, separating the skin & muscle from the ribs, inserting himself into the lesion, ejaculating into the wound, & watching semen & blood pour out of the entry. He fantasizes about decapitating Momo, inserting himself into her windpipe, & watching the head of his penis appear & disappear through her mouth while he gyrates. He fantasizes about cutting open Momo's belly, removing her intestines, & using them as a fleshlight.
Truly, his existence is soul-sucking.

hhng i think about being an actual out nonb filipino someday and like idk how it’d even work!!! bc there’s only ate (f) and kuya (m) and while ate doesnt really bother me bc i respond to it even more than i do to my actual name i still would really like to have a concrete word that’s like “i’m not female!! i’m nonbinary AND i’m filipino and those can coexist and i can be respected with an honorific and my real gender”! and i’ve already made a post about the issue w tito/tita (bc the typical “e is neutral” rule does not work here. “tite” means penis. i hated typing this parenthetical) so what if my siblings have kids what will they call me? no matter what they choose i’ll be misgendered, normally i’d rather go w the masc than the fem if i had to choose but here it truly doesnt fit. ig bc this has “higher stakes”, like “no matter what you have to choose between honoring your heritage or being shoved into the binary”. bc i’ve seen tons of english gender-neutral family terms and i actually like some of them but i don’t want to use english within my own family, we always use tagalog honorifics and i just want to be able to be referred to with them too!! and idk where i’m going with this but i just. want to be able to be filipino and nonbinary at the same time without sacrificing one or the other to feel okay
#june speaks#personal#pronouns are gender-neutral which makes it worse!! like tagalog Can be gender-neutral but ofc it’s gendered when it hurts the most!!#i cant even make up my own terms bc i straight up dont know tagalog. and there are no etymology resources like there are for english so i#cant try to make some kind of honorific that makes sense within the language#idk where this came from. hh.#actually i went back to what i was reading before i typed this post and yeah i do know where this came from#this fic had multiple nonbinary older characters referred to as ‘‘auncle’’. and im just Emotional bc they have that option!!#they can just Be Nonbinary and Have Terms and be out without too much hassle bc those words make sense and aaaaahh#i think i should sleep

Thank you! My language doesn't need filipinx, Filipino as a gender neutral term for is fine as a native FILIPINO girl. Also, isn't it funny to hear those people try to make tite be used as a gender neutral for Tito and titan 😂😂🤦
Regarding Filipinx
Reminder that FILIPINX is not accepted in the Philippines.
It was and still is heavily and publicly mocked by native Filipinos. Filipino, as a noun and adjective to refer to people whose race and nationality is from the Philippines, is inherently nonbinary. Let me say that again, "Filipino" is a nonbinary term.
The Filipino language in general is nonbinary thanks to our genderfluid pre-colonial roots and gender norms that existed way before foreigners started invading our islands (a topic for another discussion and preferrably by someone who's more knowledgeable than me in pre-colonial history).
The term "Filipinx" is a made up term by the Filipino diaspora and mis/uninformed people that do not wholly understand the Filipino language and its intricacies, and mistake it as something akin to Spanish (from which we do have a few borrowed words but that's about it). But we, the Filipinos, have our own language. Please consider and respect that. A lot of people literally died so that we could call ourselves "Filipinos." Or if you want the more native variant: Pilipino.
Isn't it a mockery of our history and ancestry if we allow others to label us in their own terms? In their own language?
Tl;dr:
FILIPINO IS A NONBINARY TERM.
FILIPINO IS A GENERALLY NONBINARY LANGUAGE.
FILIPINX IS AN INVALID AND NONEXISTENT TERM IN THE FILIPINO LANGUAGE.

So... about that Comment...
I apologize but this is going to be longer ... I spent some time wondering if I should answer this post and if so, how. Usually I do not start discussions on the internet. I think there is no use to it, because the net distort statements and is the germ of evil. Especially pages like FB or Tumblr. But in this case I decided to say something simply because, to be honest, I was quite surprised. And a little to proud to say nothing. So first of all I've been following a Bleach blog recently. The user of the blog said that it is unnecessary to justify your headcanons or how you interpret a character. Whether gay, trans or anything else. And I fully agree to this. These are fictional characters which you rarely get any information about and if you want to see them in a specific context, you should do that! Absolutely right! Now the user talked about a Grimmjow-post which I also happened to know. The user posting this Grimm-post explained in a fan- theory that Grimmjow could be Trans*. For this, he / she used screenshots, collected clues etc., to explain other users how he or she came up with this idea and what could speak for it. (Something that happens in the fan culture every day everywhere in all topics.) Now the user of the Bleach- blog said that this kind of justification would be transphobic because it would outcall trans people by highlighting certain characteristics. This in turn would be hurtful and would only fuel prejudice. That posts like that aren't necessary. (Short version) I found this statement a bit exaggerated but I know that certain topics have to be addressed with a lot of sensitivity. But as I occasionally comment on posts on Tumblr I commented that I knew the Grimmjow-Post and found an analysis like this very interesting because it showed me something I probably never would have thought off. I also said that people love to analyze their favorite characters - because they can be interpreted in the way you want. This is also part of the fan culture. And I said that the user of the Grimm-post is not transphobic because he / she just wanted to share this theory with their co-fans. After all Grimmjow is a fictive character who too can be interpreted as you like... So much for the origin of the story. Well, regarding to my short comment, which was maybe 6 sentences long, came an extremely long answer in which I was taught the better and my post was tagged as transphobic .... And here I start my answer because now it's me who has a lot to say. And as calm and neutral as possible. My comment was in no way transphobic nor was it supposed to sound like that, nor am I transphobic. I am part of the LGBTQ + community myself and support everyone and have no prejudices. That's a fact and everyone who knows me knows that. That's for me. My comment has in no way addressed anyone negatively. It was a neutral statement. No more and no less and if that was taken in some form wrong, I'm sorry. My post did not refer to gender identities or attacked anybody intentionally or unintentionally. I was referring to the interpretation of characters, how to share analysis and fan theories and what intentions might be behind them.
This wasn't supposed to be some discussion about transphobia or gender. I'm more than aware that many people are transphobic and condescending and that's a big problem but I'm also honest and say you have to draw a line at some point. I referred only to the Grimmjow-post and what the original user may have thought - sharing a simple theory with others. Without malicious thoughts. It may be that some feel uncomfortable with such analysis and theories because the subject requires a lot of sensitivity but nowadays the charge of trans- or homophobia is being thrown around so quickly that I am often startled. And since the Tumblr answers give no place for it, I will explain the thought of my post here in more detail: The user of the Grimmjow-post is a Bleach fan and never had bad intentions nor did he / she want to hurt anyone. And he / she did not hurt anyone. He / she wanted to share a simple theory, as many do because he / she had that idea. In a positive way. That's how I see it. That's called Fan Culture. You can not expect that all the world has the same views as you or even know these aspects in the first place. Maybe the Grimmjow-Post was triggering for some. Maybe it was insensitive in some way. But that does not make the author transphobic nor the statement. As before it was primarily about the interpretation of fictional characters. Of course, you do not treat fictional characters like real people. If we were to do that, there wouldn't be a thousand fanarts or fanfics about pairing characters who have nothing to do with each other and whos privacy is disregard in a big way. You have to justify yourself to real people because they have feelings that you can hurt. That's why many FFs about real people are banned. I realize that one can transfer their feelings to a fictional character, but people shouldn't equate a fictive character with a real person. Fictional characters are being analyzed to death. They belong to the entertainment culture and the entertainment media. Of course, one could now argue with the (missing) representation of trans * figures in the media or the human nature of having to put everything in drawers in order to categorize the world. Also, one could consider that such a categorization is wrong because we are all the same – humans. But I do not open that barrel because it goes beyond the scope.
Long story short for me that Grimm post nor my post weren't an attack on Trans * people. It was a simple analysis. A fan theory that used ‘evidences’ to explain not to expose or to treat it as canon or force it on anybody. And just because I see it that way that doesn't make me transphobic. Because the Grimm-post was neutral. The user was excited to share this theory. With enthusiasm. It was not a justification to expose the character or to highlight his feminine qualities to proof he once was female and therefore vilify his true gender. Would you do that to a real person? Of course not, because it would be rude and humiliating. But if you would prevent any posts like the Grimm-Post then there would be no more discussions (or fun) at all and that would be much more problematic. Because you should talk about it, should spread ideas like this because there are not enough Trans * figures. And if, they are mostly used for comic relief. Would Grimmjow see it as an attack if he was analyzed like that? He would probably punch you in the face. Because he would always do that at any time. We don't know because he doesn't exist. Therefore you can address such theories and collect evidence if you want to make your blogpost more interessting. That is not wrong as long as it is not insulting. Just like theories and fanart about homosexual figures, because there are enough of them. To say you do not need such posts basically means you do not need posts or 'proofs and justifications' in any topic. Also no evidence about eg IchiRuki or IchiHime by collecting screenshots or panels that underpin their romance. In doing so, we force these two into a relationship and feelings that we don't know if they exist. Is the principle understandable? And to immediately label people and their posts as transphobic just because they do not share your own point of view or because you are feeling attacked because you transfer everything to yourself is not very beneficial. I think it scares those who want to support Trans * people. For me, the Grimmjow-Post was not transphobic. My comment was not transphobic. Fan theories are not transphobic as long as you treat the topic with respect and do not become insulting. You can interpret every character as you like. In every form. You should not have to justify yourself or listen to insults but you can and should spread fan-theories no matter what topics they address. As long as you remain respectful and supportive!
After reading that Grimm-Post I thought about it. Of cause Tite Kubo never thought of Grimmjow this way, something like that is not topic for a shonen series (he did it with one of the Sternenritter, Giselle I guess? But that wasn't very well portrait...)
But would it be interessting? Hell yeah! It would be great! And that is something positive.
Should you do an analysis like this with a real person? Hell no! That is something negative.
Not everyone has an eye for sensitive topics or find the right words so that no one feels attacked. Everyone has different views and a different tolerance. But a simple post about a bleach topic and a fan theory of another user does not make my statement transphobic and I will not be persuaded. I'm sorry if someone can't understand that or feels attacked.
#rant#trans*#bleach#grimmjow#transphobia#fan theories#sorry but not sorry#headcanon#interpret characters the way you like#trans*grimm

ok so like, the word for “aunt” in tagalog is tita, and “uncle” is tito, and so the logical conclusion is for the gender-neutral version to be tite, as -e is neutral for -o and -a ending words, right?
except tite means “dick” in tagalog.
titi is just an alternate spelling. titu, long or short u, is just like saying tito or tita with an accent. so basically me and my future nesprings are fucked
#june speaks#plus as far as i know there’s no neutral version of ate/kuya and while i don’t hate being called ate it would be cool to use a queer version#but oh well#i. wish there was some cultural gender i could find. bc i love agender also i feel like i’m not trans enough to call myself that bc i don’t#feel as strongly about my gender and transness as other people. and idk but maybe being some kind of traditional filipino gender would at#least lessen the feelings that it isn’t possible for me to be genderqueer. and like there is a gender for (afaict) trans women but no others
