That evening they enjoyed a family meal together, then afterwards watched some TV. Greta wasn't feeling so great so she headed upstairs to bed early, but she only made it to the top of the stairs and started feeling light headed. Suddenly she dropped to her knees and collapsed on the floor.

Greta's body died that night from complications caused earlier by falling off a horse, but her soul remained alive allowing her to become a ghost.

Sometimes a few minutes of silent 'coffee and contemplation' on a Sunday morning is all that a stressed and busy mind needs to recenter! I can't say I'm getting a lot of sleep lately, but I am getting some peace and quiet since I tend to wake up earlier than everyone else.

...everyone human, that is. Colin brought home a stray a few weeks back and I couldn't say no, not when he had already shown her to the kids. As consolation I got to name her--Bethlehem!--and I've made Colin promise that when her kittens are born we'll sell them right away. (Because yes, she's pregnant--the only one in this house, thank the Lord!)

Meet Meringue (paint), Sorbet (jester), and Trifle (koi)! My three dessert themed peach babies. I am torn on their final plans however, so I need your help! Should I make them adults, or permababy them? I'm still not 100% on Trifle's breeds or secondary, but def pinstripe/koi, so feel free to make suggestions for them too!

After coming home to a changed apartment and arriving to Alejandro's disconnected voicemail for the past couple of hours, Julie went for a drive and called as many hospitals, jails, and mutual connections as possible. Somehow, like a moth to a flame, she found herself in glowing embers. It was within a couple of minutes that she realized Glowing Embers was less of a dive bar and more of a gentleman's club. She still stayed, though, her car was low on gas and her phone was due to die.

"I'm sorry," she said to the woman who was keeping her "company." Really, what she was doing was letting Julie waste her time, and for that Julie was grateful and guilty. "I know you could actually be working rather than listening to me. Everything's a fucking mess right now, and I don't even know why, or what I did, but I never thought I'd be in a situation like this. This is the exact type of thing that would happen to my mom."

Wren was experiencing what one might call delayed grief. Or it could be that he felt like he was simply too busy to grieve, or he was avoiding it all together. However he was handling it, it was by getting stuff done around the ranch.

At the crack of dawn he would be up training Rascal, now renamed to Spirit. Since he had gotten to know the Mustang he felt he deserved a name that suited him not one that other sims gave him simply because they didn't understand the horse.

We’re homeowners x2! After years of scrimping and saving, we finally had enough to buy a small second home (almost entirely debt-free!) and do some basic renovations. We live in a nice rural area where houses are affordable and the decision was a no-brainer.

We’ll rent it out for extra income—always a welcome prospect when you have a large family!
