Armstrong and Scott with Hatches Open
"Astronauts Neil A. Armstrong and David R. Scott sit with their spacecraft hatches open while awaiting the arrival of the recovery ship, the USS Leonard F. Mason after the successful, but early, completion of their Gemini VIII mission. They are assisted by USAF Pararescuemen Eldrige M. Neal, Larry D. Huyett, and Glenn M. Moore. The overhead view shows the Gemini 8 spacecraft with the yellow flotation collar attached to stabilize the spacecraft in choppy seas. The green marker dye is highly visible from the air and is used as a locating aid."

Happy Moon Day!
Today we celebrate one of my favorite holidays! The 55th anniversary of the day humans landed on the surface of the moon by LM-5, "Eagle" carrying Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
To celebrate, I thought I'd share some pictures I've taken with three important project Gemini capsules. Specifically, the first capsules flown by each of Apollo 11's future crew members, years before they were selected for their famous voyage.
Gemini VIII: Neil Armstrong's first space flight with Dave Scott
Gemini X: Michael Collins' first space flight with John Young
Gemini XII: Buzz Aldrin's first space flight with Jim Lovell
Anyway, Happy Moon Day!

I always thought these were the thing that failed, but they were more likely just things investigated in the hunt for the source of the failure. Seems you got to see the genuine article responsible for Neil & Dave's Wild Ride™️ (as @ms-dos5 likes to call Gemini VIII)
Yesterday (March 16th) was the 58th anniversary of Gemini VIII, one of many times Neil Armstrong almost died and the mission patch is my icon so I figure I ought to explain what happened
Essentially, it was a Gemini mission intending to demonstrate rendezvous and docking in space. Neil Armstrong and Dave Scott were in their Gemini spacecraft, and were to dock with an Agena target vehicle, which was an unmanned piece of equipment that always seemed to have problems and regularly got exploded by the unreliable Atlas rockets that launched them. That’s why Gemini VI rendezvoused with Gemini VII, because their Agena blew up. Great track record there. Anyway alongside the docking they were also scheduled to do a spacewalk as well as an array of scientific experiments, hence the patch: it was covering a spectrum of research.
Their docking went according to plan. Then, while the ship was out of radio contact, the docked Gemini/Agena started spinning uncontrollably. This was understandably a bad time.
Because they had had so many issues with the Agena, their first assumption was that it was a problem with an Agena thruster. Scott undocked them from the Agena. They started spinning faster, reaching nearly one rotation a second, near to the point where a human would pass out. They realize that no, it wasn’t the Agena, it was a thruster on the normally reliable Gemini capsule which was stuck on.
Armstrong, a quick-thinking level-headed test pilot, quickly taps into fuel typically reserved for landing and evens out the spin so they don’t yknow. Die. And as much as they want to stay in space to complete their experiments, procedure stated that after you tapped into the landing fuel, you had to return to earth. Thus, they reenter the atmosphere and make a safe splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.
Last month, I got to see the piece of the thruster which malfunctioned and almost killed Armstrong and Scott:
After the incident, Scott would go on to fly two Apollo missions, Apollo 9 and 15. Armstrong would be the first man on the moon on Apollo 11.
Anyway. Just a little space travel history for you.

₊˚⊹ ᰔ Moon 10H people can have the desire to control everything, and they feel safer this way. They usually love to feel productive. A job where they are the boss or in charge of people will make them feel better.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Pluto transiting your 4H will makes you want to be away from your current home, you'll move, or want to be more independent from your current situation.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Gemini Moons can't stand clinginess, they want to feel freedom in every relationship they have, even non romantic. This means wanting to be alone sometimes, and feeling accepted for that.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Sun 8H people are so intense, yet they can also have some toxic behavior towards other people sometimes.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Chiron in 1H Synastry. Chiron person will often be jealous of 1H person. Though, 1H person will often feel hurt by this behavior.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Sun 8H Synastry in friendship. Sun person can really enjoy the presence of the 8H person but can feel like they are every toxic for them sometimes. But 8H person can actually still want the connection.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ People with their Chiron in 11H will often have their friends leaving them in their life. They always suffer in friendships.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Mars conjunct Chiron Synastry to me feels like the connection will just hurt both people. Chiron feels threaten by Mars person, wanting to be like them, they are constantly triggered by Mars person. Mars person feels Chiron person is triggered by them and may actually not get why. Or they can also feel like Chiron person needs healing.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ One of my friend has a lot of my placements coming in her 8H and she always assume I hate her. She is very triggered that I don't talk to her daily and always assume I have something against her when... I am just living there.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Pluto 2H Synastry can result in 2H person always spending more money when Pluto person is around them.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ 9H Stellium people could spend their whole life being paid to study. You could also devote yourself to religion at some point of your life.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Chiron 9H people can be triggered by religion or spirituality when young, then when they get older, make peace with it, and actually embrace those parts.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Jupiter 4H can result in a person never be homeless. My aunt has this placement and she always found the cutest place to live.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Venus in 10H is such a good placement in my opinion. Venus person always believe in 10H person's abilities and always encourage them!
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Sun conjunct Jupiter Synastry between family members can be a really good thing. It's a sign both planets feel good and happy, they always see the better side of life together. Sun person feels delighted and always in good mood, and Jupiter person always feels like they can teach something good to Sun, and they can also feel glad to be able to help Sun person.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Saturn in 5H Synastry can mean that Saturn person feels like they are not good enough for 5H person, or they can feel like they will never be together. The house person can put limitations to the relationship.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ I have noticed that people with Venus 2H LOVES to spend money on their dates. They also love to treat themselves regularly.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Any Scorpio Rising I know never forget their loved ones. They care so much and notice every details. I love my Scorpio babies🫶
₊˚⊹ ᰔ A lot of people think Capricorn placements are boring and always serious, but those people may not have met a single Capricorn in their life. Capricorns are so funny, and their humor is usually quite sarcastic or dark, but they are truly comics for sure.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ My sister always gave me strong Sagittarius vibe, and she has her sun in her 9H.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Having Sun 10H is living your life with people around you complaining you don't give them enough attention. People always have their eyes on you, and you could have beef with someone without even being aware. People see you, notice you, and you could become popular without actually knowing it. Having a 10H Stellium or Leo can have the same effect too.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ And I have noticed that Chiron 10H people usually would love to have this attention. This are the kids who always want to be with the cool kids. Though, they always find themselves having fake relationships for the sake of attention.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Neptune 11H people can often have fake friends around them or just have no real friendships around them. They can actually never truly see that either.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Leo Moon people are always so popular lol!
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Neptune 1H can give the same vibe to me, I have noticed people are usually very obsessed with them. And a lot of them have a crush on those natives.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ I have noticed that a lot of men I felt really attracted to had similar placements to my Future Spouse (tho I didn't know astrology so well back then so I didn't know). I wonder if one can meet people for some times with the same placements as their FS.
Thank you for reading!

On this day in history, August 5th, 1930, Neil Armstrong was born. Though he will always be known for being the first man on the moon, Armstrong had an accomplished career as both a military and civilian pilot, test piloting the X-15 rocket plane for the NACA (later NASA).
After being selected as an astronaut candidate in 1962, Armstrong was commander of Gemini VIII in 1966, narrowly saving the life of himself and fellow astronaut Dave Scott when a thruster malfunction caused their capsule to begin spinning uncontrollably.
In 1969, at age 38, Armstrong took mankind's first steps on another planet as the commander of the Apollo 11 mission.

Astrological Associations of the Tarot Major and Minor Arcana - Cheat Sheet
As someone who dabbles in astrology (and lightly in planetary magic), I recently decided to include the astrological correspondence of the Golden Dawn for the tarot in my practice and I found it to be an amazing additional information in some cases.
For example, when you need an idea of timing, or when you need to define a person and their ''vibe'', or add a layer to the meaning of the cards. Particularly useful for Court cards which are notoriously hard to understand.
This is merely a list of correspondences or association and will not go into detail about the whys, because there are many different opinions on this depending on the author and time period. So this is just a synthesized version of what I personally use. I also need to point out that I use the RWS tarot mostly, not Thoth (although it was my first deck and I really need to get back to it at some point). So if you want to dive deeper, please visit the forum thread that has interesting discussions. For Minor Arcana, here from Biddy Tarot. For the Court cards specifically, here is what I found.
Note for the Court Cards: Pages are just their element in the most youthful/undeveloped form. The other Courts have two signs, that's because they rule the last 2 thirds of the signs + the first third of the next sign. It's a bit hard to wrap your head around but it adds necessary depth to their meaning.
It's cross-posted on my blog, with the addition of a visual I made as a reference you can download or print. Also on Pinterest and Instagram.

1966... Gemini VIII splashdown & post recovery March 17, 1966, Gemini VIII astronauts Neil Armstrong and David Scott pose with the divers of the US Navy recovery team. The Gemini VIII mission was cut short after a docking problem with the unmanned Agena target rocket. Re-entry took place over China with splashdown 800 kilometers east of Okinawa. Photo taken just before debarking USS Leonard F Mason in Naha harbor in Southern Japan. Note Scott’s NASA-issued Omega Speedmaster on black velcro at his left wrist. During this mission, besides his NASA-issued Omega Speedmaster, Neil Armstrong also wore a Longines Lindberg big crown aviator watch which belonged to his childhood hero James "Jimmie" Mattern. However, in the foreground, the Navy issued Tudor 7928 diving toolwatch on stainless steel bracelet at the wrist of the diver looks far more interesting! (Photo: NASA)

ten bl boys i want carnally to put in my pocket like tamagotchi
thanks for tagging me krish @i-got-the-feels ♥ i took the liberty to make this a softer version of the original ^^ these are in no particular order!
-
I. Mork (Jimmy Jitaraphol) Last Twilight
after all this pain, i just want him to be happy. have him smiling like this, living comfortably. let him have an easy life with a lot of good days and laughter. let him have love. i care for him so much that this is all i want for him ♥
II. Ten (Off Jumpol) Cooking Crush
very my type of character. sweet and kind but has his own troubles. needs way more loving than he has received. i melted when prem was being considerate about ten's aversion to touch and never questioned him, just tried to make him comfortable, and how ten was so baffled to be treated like that. he deserves that type of love so much.
III. Cher (Book Kasidet) A Boss and a Babe
my boba-eyed baby! i adore him so much. cher was such a fun character and i felt very deeply for him. a boy filled with only happiness on the outside with a horrible sadness inside. i want to pinch his cheekies and ruffle his hair and tell him he's doing amazing ♥
IV. Zo (Dunk Natachai) Hidden Agenda
unlike the majority (i think?), i very much enjoyed hidden agenda. and zo was one of those characters that became very important to me this year. he's very familiar to me somehow and watching him change and grow gave me a lot of comfort. he was so brave!
V. Ai Di (Chiang Tien) Kiseki: Dear to Me
the casting choice here is so interesting but works beautifully. ai di is tiny but extremely spicy, and i love him for it. a hissy kitten truly, and you approach him with your own risk. most likely, he will bite you. he's the highlight of this whole show.
VI. Li Ming (Fourth Nattawat) Moonlight Chicken
i was reading some of my old tag games and there i mentioned how i could relate to li ming's struggles in a world run by adults. that one still stands and maybe that's why he is so dear to me. a very brave boy i hope knows all his efforts mean a lot ♥ it takes a lot to be so kind in this world.
VII. Nuengdiao (Phuwin Tangsakyuen) Never Let Me Go / Our Skyy 2
he's so, so precious. i will fight you if you think otherwise. i am serious. this boy deserves all the love he finally got for himself. he deserves to be carefree and happy after all the trauma. let him have a happy life with his beloved, far from death and suffering ♥
VIII. Talay (Sea Tawinan) Vice Versa / Our Skyy 2
it's huge when someone who doesn't believe in love turns into someone who is the epitome of love. that's what happened to talay who, despite this change, is still learning how to believe in love and see it as something permanent in his life. he's doing so well tho. i adore him ♥ also, he will make one amazing parent one day!
IX. Tinn (Gemini Norawit) My School President / Our Skyy 2
absolute loser of a boy, but i love him for it. there's no one more perfect out there. he has a heart of gold and so much hope in him. he believes only in love and gun. it's amazing how he was so lonely and despite it, was so ready to put all his faith in one boy and their future together.
X. Wai (Jimmy Jitaraphol) Bad Buddy / Our Skyy 2
another absolute loser. a little asshole kitten. bastard. douchebag. am using these words as i would use endearments. i love him so much. that will never change thanks for asking. i'm in this wai-loving bullshit for life.
tagging: @stormyoceans @dimpledpran @celestial-sapphicss @jimmysea @leonpob @daymork @smileytharn if any of you is interested! or if you've done this already, this is your sign to send that list to me ^^
#tag game#sorry i could not live with myself#if i did this the right way#yall have fun tho!!#go wild go bonkers i don't mind at all#tell me all your thoughts on your fave men
