Dark Desires Sneak Peek
Tumblr media
Dark Desires
A Fantastic Love Story.
Yandere! Gellert Grindelwald x Female Muggle Reader.
This is the Mads Mikkelsen version and not the Johnny Depp actor.
Warnings: yandere, unhealthy love, obsession, huge age gap and racism to an American citizen and racism to muggles.
The Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald was bitter of his twenty year imprisonment for attempted genocide against muggles. He was now more lonely than ever. One day, he saw a beautiful Veela in Thailand and has been infatuated with her since. To his shame, he figured you were a Muggle of all people. To save his public image, he kidnapped and tortured you to put you in your place after humiliating him. He couldn't believe he stooped so low for a race he hated with passion. For mocking him, you will pay for turning him into a hypocrite.
Your nightmare will begin. Unknowingly, you put the most dangerous man under your spell without magic. Now that is something.
What do you guys think?

this might be an unpopular opinion but I liked mads best as grindelwald. i'll interact with both versions but i think in mads case, his performance is probably what i'd lean into more if i wrote the character. all of his reactions are far more subtle. and i think by the time FB:SoD rolls around, you'd have a more controlled gellert even if he's still madly in love with his foil. it's more believable as a political figure. i liked johnny's charisma, but mads had great chemistry with albus. so it's personal preference, but... I do think given the gravity of gellert's position, i could see him toning down his antics in favor of a more subtle, nuanced deviance.

I put together all the little scenes of the restaurant date from all the different trailers and tv spots we got so far.
And I have some things to say...
Clearly they will not call each other 'Dumbledore' and 'Grindelwald'. Its just an addition in the trailer to make it clear who speaks to who.
I really hope to hear 'Albus' and 'Gellert'.
Also, THAT FIRST LINE.
Gellert appears and instantly teases Albus asking him about his regular haunts. And pay attention to Albus' reaction to just hearing his voice, without even looking at him yet. His entire body freezes and he takes a big breath to prepare himself. Gellert approaches him with that flirty line and a little smile. And then Albus instantly feels relieved. His expression is calm and relaxed. His soulmate is in front of him, again. After all that time. And finally looking at Gellert he responds, chuckling. HE CHUCKLES.
For one little moment the world around them doesn't exist.
Two seconds and Mads and Jude did an amazing job already. There's so many things and layers. I'm impressed.
About Mads...
Can you see his very subtle but fundamental and marvellous way to put all these tiniest micro expressions while acting? Oh my God, I'm loving every single thing.
When he talks to Albus' about anything related to their bond, he becomes very intimate and sincere and he leans in, closer. Body language is so important here. Just watch. When he asks about the troth, telling him how he still feels it on his neck, he has this smily glimpse of nostalgia all over his face. Again, reminiscing Albus' words about the world and how would they've reshaped it, the fond on his face while looking at Albus (we can clearly see how he goes from his lips to his eyes) maybe remembering his younger version and that summer together is so evident and obvious.
In the end we have all the lines where he's distant, cold, threatening. Again, body language. He sits back, the smile is gone, the voice is steady. He clearly feels rejected and almost hurt. (Mads, I wanna hug you, please)
Also, I thought about that last 'no' from Albus and I feel like that's an answer to a question we haven't heard yet.
They delivered this scene perfectly so far.
Can't wait to see it in the movie.

Grindeldore in The Secrets of Dumbledore
Fair warning, if not an obvious one, that this post will have detailed spoilers.
I feel overwhelmed. I had always been hoping that we would get a little more on Grindelwald and Dumbledore’s feelings for each other. I never had expected such an emotional journey. They had the kind of scenes that made my heart ace and put butterflies in my stomach.
-Starting from the scene at the tea shop... WHAT AN INTRODUCTION. I had watched a big part of it from TV spots and featurettes, but it was even better, It is the very first scene of the movie. The music playing is emotional. Actually, it’s romantic and absolutely beautiful. Albus is so nervous that he’s losing his words when he explains to the waitress that he is expecting someone. He plays with his teaspoon and he closes his eyes in anticipation, breathing in deeply. Gellert arrives and by the time Albus opens his eyes, slowly sensing his presense, Gellert has been staring at him with a softness in his eyes that melted my heart. THAT was love right there if I’ve ever seen it. He approaches in his smooth manner, starting with small talk and they are both really taken with each other. You get the feeling that they haven’t seen each other in a long time, but that it’s like not a day has passed. Mads and Jude did such an amazing job, I swear. When they mention the way that the troth feels there is so much sensuality in it. It has a subtlety that is not cold. It’s elegant like the characters involved, but also dripping with desire over everything this bond represents.Of course they are at a regular muggle tea shop, and Gellert cannot let that go, commenting on the muggle stench and starting with his discrimination and bigotry, so things go south.
When Dumbledore said that what Grindelwald is doing is madness, I felt there was a very nice parallel and antithesis to Jacob and Queenie. When Queenie wanted Jacob to walk with her to Grindelwald’s side he said ‘you’re crazy’ and this is very much how Dumbledore feels when Grindelwald wants him to rule with him in the twisted version of the world he’s building. The difference of course is that Queenie was confused and whistful, while Grindelwald’s path has been dictated by crooked ideology, which prevents him from having any misgivings for his actions.
While Dumbledore claims that he was willing to go along with Grindelwald’s ideas because he was in love, Grindelwald says something along the lines of ‘yes, but this was not the reason’. Don’t get me wrong, Gellert was mostly the one in the wrong in this relationship. But in that moment, seeing his betrayed and annoyed expression while he called out Dumbledore made sense. Having him point out that Albus is in denial because after all HE was the one who put the ideological basis of ruling over muggles, and not Gellert himself, was a nice touch. It conveys a twisted but understandable feeling of being lead on, but then taking all the blame and being left out to dry on Gellert’s side.
This opening interaction was absolutely necessary. Grindelwald is always putting his ideology first, but having him unlease Credence without one more attempt to hve Dumbledore by his side would have cheapened the romance.
-Dumbledore wears his heart on his sleeve in some ways. He is guarded, but he also has to admit his love for Grindelwald in several occasions. When he opens up to Theseus about the blood troth, he does so out of necessity. He wants Theseus to put blind faith in him and he is not going to reveal the actual plan, so he gives an explanation and a piece of himself in return. Nevertheless, you can see the moment during which he loses himself in longing, the intoxication he feels while feeling the pendant after having delivered the ‘pick your poison line and the way different emotions are reflected in Law’s expressions is absolutely brilliant, which is even more tragic as he strains against the bond moments later. Speaking of the troth, let’s think of the fact that Gellert used to wear it kept close to his chest, mostly hidden inside his little pocket, as opposed to lbus literally wearing it on his sleeve and how that reflects the characters.
-When he is with his followers Grindelwald does not open up about his feelings. Nevertheless, while manipulating Credence, he plays the ‘Albus betrayed you as he betrayed me and he uses his pain to create a shread of relatability between them and to stir Credence’s anger. He gives a tiny piece of himself, in a dishonest reflection of Albus’ approach to Theseus. There is a stark difference when Credence fails to kill Albus and when they realised that Credence and the rest of the followers did not perceive the sencond Qilin. This can be interpreted as Grindelwald feeling angrier at the second failure exactly because it was reocurring, but it can also be that he felt reluctant relief that Albus was alive, even if he still felt compelled to carry the plan through because he thinks that it\s his only chance at being safe.
-I loved that Dumbledore kept tabs on what was happening in Germany and knew that Gellert would always try to manipulate people and legitimize himself first, wanting a united front against muggles, before setting the Wizarding World aflame and going into outright civil war to get what he wants.
-When Dumbledore opens up to Newt about the duel and about Ariana, he says that he drew his wand after Aberforth drew his, but Gellert simply laughed. In DH Aberforth says that his borther’s best friend used the cruciatus curse on him and it’s mentioned that all three duelded. This is a very direct retcon, easy to spot .I get why they might have wanted to change for the  blood troth to make sense, but I think they could have found another loophole I really hope we get to learn more about the duel in the future.
-The Qilin was the best instance of weaving a creature in the actual plot that I’ve seen in any of the movies. Grindelwald killing the Qilin was an instance of unprovoked and self-serving cruelty that was quite significant. For a moment I thought that the living Qilin would bow to Jacob. When it recognized Albus as the leader of the Wizarding World, I didn’t know why I hadn’t expected it. It made total sense. It gives an even more substantial reason that would make people try to push him into politics, even as he is saying again and again throughout the years that he isn’t interested. It also plays into what Newt told Dumbledore. Purity does not come from being unfailing. It also relates to intention, to trying to do the best for everyone without being motivated by personal gain. Grindelwald KNOWING that he is not worthy and breaking a creature of innocence to achieve his goal, as opposed to Albus being disbelieving of being chosen because he considers himself corrupt and unworthy feels natural. When it happens, you can see in Grindelwald’s face that he is heartbroken on the one hand but it feels right even to him. On the contrary, Albus is so wrapped up in guilt that despite having the approval of this unbiased moral judge never manages to fully accept himself and stop being emotinally defined by his regrets and guilt.
Another interesting thing: Back in 2007 Rowling had said about Dumbledore that “in his youth, he was- he became infatuated with a man who was almost his dark twin. He was as brilliant. He was morally bankrupt.”  I think that this duality is represented by the resurrected Qulin as the ‘dark twin’ of the living one.
Moreover, the reanimation of the Qulin introduces certain aspects of Grindelwald’s character. When he brings it back he mentions that THIS is what makes wizards superior. Considering that the Hallows were connected to the idea of conquering death, this is an interesting thematic introduction. And of course this introduction to reanimation within water may be a reference to our  visual image of the Inferi in HBP, since based on canon he later tried to raise an army of Inferi from the bodies he piled up.
-Some think that the ‘he attacked, I defended’-breaking of the troth was very simplistic. Considering that these actions ultimately reflect their stance in life and in politics, which is what broke their relationship, I found it fitting. Albus’ expression when the chain breaks is shocked and heartbreaking, but it gives wast to such strong resolve. I like that his determination was not played down compared to Gellert’s. When they stop, they are not simply touching each other’s chest over the heart. Their fingers are clawing slightly, as if they’re trying to hold closer and to tear out at the same time in that moment of indecision. The music fading to the rising sound of their beating hearts was beautiful, and of course they both pulled back. Gellert shouting at Dumbledore something along the lines of ‘who will love you now Albus?’ with such a heartbroken expression was something that took me by surprise and it’s one of his most genuine and moving reactions to anything. The hurt in Mikkelsen’s performance is palpable. The only public duel between the two has been established for 1945, but it is clear that they could not been seen in the parallel space Albus creates. Grindelwald addressing the world with “I was never your enemy, not then or now’ but slightly turning to Albus encapsulates Grindelwald’s need to address the world while being unable to ever look past Dumbledore and not gravitate towards him. I expected Albus to have more of a reaction when he jumped. Instead it’s Theseus who stays fixated. Albus goes to the spot and looks at where Gellert disappeared later, but it’s Theseus who noticed and it’s he who makes Dumbledore promise that he’ll go after Grindelwald. Theseus gave his trust blindly and now Albus must hold up to it, so their initial interaction is brought full circle.
-At the end Dumbledore is sitting alone outside. He is looking at everyone attending the wedding and at their interactions with such a loving and whistful expression. You can see his melancholy and his isolation. He sends Newt inside after Tina telling him to pick his poison: to chase love. Then Bunty arrives. Dumbledore sees everything. She knows of her feelings for Newt and she looks at her in a very particular way. I think that he sees in Newt what he wish he could have had (the freedom to pursue his passion without terrible repercussions) and in Bunty the way he wished he could move on (giving the world a chance and stepping inside even if he cannot have what he craves).
This finale scene is a reversal of the opening scene. Dumbledore was inside, staring at a person he loved, having all the emotions rising back. He momentarily had what he will never claim again. At the end he is gazing at the others; people whom he could get close to if he tried. He seems to be momentarily contemplating whether he should enter. He chooses not to. He is alive, but he does not let himself really ‘live’ ever again; both because he probably feels that nothing can live up to what he used to feel with Grindelwald or with his family and because he is so traumatized that he doesn’t want to risk being hurt again. It was very bittersweet.

Taylor Swift songs that I can’t help but think they were written about Albus and Gellert:
Better Man (Taylor’s Version): from Albus’ point of view. He reminisces his relationship with Gellert and he’s still in love with him and he can’t help but think of what could have been if only Gellert was a better man. “You could have been the one if you were a better man.”
Cruel Summer: from Albus’ viewpoint. This song is about the summer Albus and Gellert fell in love. It’s about a love so strong but destructive. “I love you, ain’t that the worst think you ever heart?”
cowboy like me: from Gellert’s POV about finding a person who shares the same intellect and ideas. He didn’t plan to fall in love, but now that he did he knows he’s never gonna fall for anyone else. “You’re a bandit like me, eyes full of stars.”
The Way I Loved You (Taylor’s Version): from Albus’ perspective. This song is about a toxic relationship that is now over but you miss the rush of being with that person despite knowing they’re not good for you. “So in love that you act insane and that’s the way I loved you.”
Forever & Always (Taylor’s Version): from Gellert’s perspective about Albus’ betrayal when he left him alone with his plans even though he said they’re forever & always. It’s after the blood pact broke and after Albus turned his back on Gellert when it hit him that they’re really over. “You flashback to when he said forever & always.”
the 1: from Albus’ viewpoint. Years after the war Albus sits all alone and fantasise about what would have been if Gellert would have been the 1. “It could have been fun if you would have been the one.”
my tears ricochet: this bitter, vengeful song is from Gellert’s point of view. After the blood troth broke, Gellert asks Albus “who will love you now, Dumbledore?” He’s mad and heartbroken, he feels as if Albus betrayed him. This song is about the person who was the closest to you turning their back at you and because they know you so well they know exactly how to hurt you. “I didn’t have it in myself to go with grace, and you’re the hero flying around saving face. And if I’m dead to you, why are you at the wake, cursing my name, wishing I’d stay?”
Death By A Thousand Cuts: Gellert’s POV. He feels like Albus gave up on him like he was a bad drug. He left him alone with their plans. Despite their relationship being over, Gellert still can’t get over Albus and still holds on to their blood pact, not only to prevent Albus From killing him, but also because he has a little hope that Albus would have a change of heart and get back to him. “But if the story is over, why am I still writing pages? ‘Cause saying goodbye is death by a thousand cuts.”
False God: Albus’ POV during the summer they fell in love. Albus is so consumed by his love for Gellert that he doesn’t think straight (get it? Cause he’s gay?! Ignore me) and doesn’t consider the harm they could cause. He has blind faith in this love and in Gellert. “They say the road gets hard and you get lost when you’re led by blind faith. But we might just get away with this, religion in your lips, even if it’s a false God.”
I could go on but I probably should stop now. Thanks for reading my feverish mind’s nonsense.

If Albus and Gellert were around 17-ish during 1899, that means the great duel of 1945 happened with the two as (updated) 60 -ish year old peepaws?
It's a miracle they lasted for 3 hours without their arthritis acting up.
But then again this is the magical world so we'll take that into account.
In the official site a wizard's life expectancy is around 137. So when the duel happened, they were just creeping into senior age then. And that even without access to the elixir of life like Nicholas Flamel and his wife, wizards have a longer life expectancy than muggles.
There was also this theory I read somewhere that even if you just wield one part of the deathly hallows, it blesses its master longevity (so long as you don't succumb to death's temptations) hence Dumbledore still able to fight against Voldemort in the Order of the Phoenix.
What I am saying here is that Mads Mikkelsen is already reaching his 60 so he is in the same canonical age of Gellert Grindelwald during the great duel of 1945 so please I hope the production gets out of limbo before all of the actors grow too old-

Will Mads Mikkelsen be a convincing Gellert Grindelwald?
Okay, I just rewatched some of the Marvel movies and suddenly remembered that it was Mads Mikkelsen who was playing one of the villains in Doctor Strange, which made me think back to Fantastic Beasts and his upcoming role as Gellert Grindelwald in the movies franchise, and really… I wanted to share my thoughts on this, so here I am:
— Like some other fans of the franchise, I chose to boycott the next FB movies out of principle for what happened to Johnny D. but also for other reasons that only concern myself (I’ll however read the screenplays books). Nonetheless, this doesn't prevent me from wishing all the best for the saga as well as for all the viewers who will watch the next instalments, and unfortunately, I fear that the interpretation of Mr Mikkelsen of Grindelwald's character won’t be up to it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about acting skills here, but about his understanding of the character and his way of showing it on screen.
— In fact, I'm afraid that he will only interpret him as an umpteenth villain like any others, without grasping his depth and complexity. As good an actor as Mr Mikkelsen is (I confess I don't really know him. I just know his reputation as Hannibal Lecter, and his portrayal of Kaecilius in Doctor Strange has satisfied me although I admit to having been left hungry for more), I feel (and hope to be proven wrong) that he won't be able to get everything that makes that Grindelwald CANNOT just be listed as a villain.
It's something that can be read so often in newspaper articles, with critics, or even on his Wikia page, Gellert Grindelwald is described as a nemesis, a mighty wizard who sought only to destroy the world and rule on a wizarding supremacist society. He is like a poorly written first version of Voldemort. But true fans of the universe know this better than anyone, that's not what Grindelwald stands for...
— Call me a fangirl if you want, I am not defending his actions, but we all know very well that there is more to his actions than what he chooses to show to everyone. Gellert Grindelwald is not a being devoid of compassion, nor is he devoid of regret, much less devoid of love. He is poles apart from Voldemort/Tom Riddle. He's a man of many facets, facets that he reveals only to a few, if not to none. He chooses to wear a different mask for each person he speaks to.
He can be cruel, but his cruelty stems above all from his belief that vulnerability is a weakness. He's fighting for a cause that he sincerely believes is right. He's willing to do anything for it, including doing unforgivable acts, making sacrifices, and surrounding himself with the worst people there are.
Too often, I see him being described as some kind of psychopath, a sociopath who doesn't care about anything or anyone, but that's wrong… He's a man who loved and who was betrayed, a man who dreamed to create a world where wizards and muggles would live together as one, and where wizards would no longer have to hide. A society that Albus Dumbledore believed in with the hope that what had happened to his sister Ariana would never happen again, before realising that such a utopia was impossible...
— Anyway, all that to say that behind this character with a cold and detached appearance hides someone, much, much more difficult to define. A man who refuses to let his weaknesses show through, who is ready to sacrifice himself for the cause in which he chooses to believe (small reminder that he gave his life to prevent Voldemort from knowing the location of the Elder Wand and stoping him from desecrating Dumbledore's grave), and who is far from revealing all his cards (Tbh, I suspect that this whole Greater Good revolution thing is just a pretext and that he has actually a secret agenda on his own).
And yet, I fear that Mads Mikkelsen won't understand all of these intricate things that make Grindelwald such a fascinating and incredible character. I'm afraid that, unlike Johnny Depp who understood that the character had a hidden side (hence the idea of having eyes of different colours, black and white like light and darkness), Mads M. sees in him only one of those power-hungry and fascist villains whose his film repertoire is so full of...
— There you go… Sorry for the monstrous length of this stuff, I think I just needed to clear my mind of these unanswered questions… I just wish for Grindelwald's character not to get bad-categorised because of a simple change of actor…
Once again, I have absolutely nothing against Mr Mikkelsen, I've no doubts about his acting skills, I just hope he'll live up to such a difficult character as Gellert Grindelwald. I know that I might stumble upon some refractors and detractors to my thoughts, even haters, but I take the risk of leaving the comments of this post open. You are free to give me your opinion on this.
Please remain courteous to each other and myself though, thank you very much! 💞

I'm just as excited about the newest fantastic beasts film as everyone else, but I hate what they did with the whole blood pact thing. It wasn't in the original story (7th Harry Potter book), and there was no reason to add it. It just undermines Albus' and Gellert's relationship, the way I see it.
In both the book and the movie, Albus knows he has to face Gellert; he is, after all, possibly the only one who can stop him. But in the book, he can't; and he can't, because he still loves him. He loves him so much that he is willing to put duty aside. He feels a responsibility to act, to put a stop in Gellert's madness and violent pursuit of power, but he feels he can't be the one to take Gellert down. He loves him too much to become his downfall, his doom, no matter how justified this action would be. He avoids the final duel between them not out of fear, not because he doesn't care about Gellert's victims, but out of love. And when he had to put a stop to it, knowing that lifelong imprisonment would be the best he can hope about Gellert's fate, he does so with a heavy heart. Gellert's fate was what hurt him the most, with the exception of Ariana's death, of course. These were the only things Albus never forgave himself. And you can tell from the way he never really moved on, never really fell in love again, that he blamed himself for Gellert's end. He played a part in the development of Europe's darkest wizard (nevermind the fact that he was a teenager back then), so he also played a part in his downfall.
In the movie, he is shown to love Gellert, yes ("we were closer than brothers", he says), but love is not the reason he avoids that final fight that he knows will come, eventually, no matter what he does. No, the reason here is a blood pact. Something less binding than even Voldemort and Draco had, with the unbreakable oath. Something he wants gone, so he can finally take on Grindelwald. And I don't wanna imply that it doesn't hurt the cinematic version of Albus to have to fight - and imprison, maybe kill - Gellert, because it does. But love has as much influence over his decisions as that blood pact, maybe less. And I cannot help but feel like this waters down the relationship between these two characters.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022)
Tumblr media
The Fantastic Beasts series has corrected its course with The Secrets of Dumbledore. This third chapter makes great use of its lead character and his animal friends. It also suffers from some of the boneheaded decisions writer J. K. Rowling made in the previous entry and never reaches the wonder present in the original Potter series. Still, it's reinvigorated my enthusiasm and I hope to see another.
In 1932, the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) has followers everywhere and his influence is growing. Unfortunately, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) - the only man who could face him - is unable to due to a blood pact they formed when in love years ago. To circumvent this enchantment, Grindelwald has convinced Credence (Ezra Miller) to murder the renowned schoolteacher. Meanwhile, Dumbledore has recruited Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), his brother Thesseus (Callum Turner), Eulalie “Lally” Hicks (Jessica Willis), Yusuf Kama (William Nadylam) and No-Maj Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler) to move on his behalf.
To my relief, it’s revealed that Credence is not Dumbledore’s long-lost brother or son, but his nephew. That makes a lot more sense. In my defense, when they introduced the woman who will become Nagini (absent from this movie entirely), I thought all good sense had left J. K. Rowling’s head. Evidently, I wasn’t the only one. She is now co-credited with Steve Kloves as the writer.
The Secrets of Dumbledore is better writen than Crimes of Grindelwald but the film is still recovering from its predecessor and makes the puzzling choice to sideline Katherine Waterston’s Tina Goldstein almost entirely. It’s also jarring to see Gellert Grindelwald now played by Mads Mikkelson with no explanation whatsoever. I'm only complaining about how different he looks, mind you. Some of the movie’s best scenes are with Mikkelson and Jude Law. You can tell they want to hate each other but can’t. It’s just that with the character being disguised for almost all of Fantastic Beasts, being played by Johnny Depp in the second movie and being “replaced” once more, this role is feeling a bit like it’s been jinxed.
The Secrets of Dumbledore is a mystery but not the kind we’re used to. Grindelwald has gained the ability to see into the future, which makes him all but undefeatable. The only way to get around his powers of premonition is to be unpredictable. This means Dumbledore's allies - and the audience - only get snippets of the complete plan. This can make the film feel aimless during the first half. It also make the payoffs you notice satisfying. The film’s most memorable mission combines uncertain objectives with Newt’s affinity for magical creatures. It’s a great scene in a sinister prison that’s humorous, frightening, and tense. It makes great use of Newt’s awkwardness, the many monsters that lurk within the Wizarding World, and everyone’s favorites: his Niffler and Bowtruckle, Pickett.
This picture is a step in the right direction but we're three movies in and still feeling the growing pains. The magical battles take place in a way that avoids destruction and witnesses, which makes them nice and clean story-wise. When this same tactic is used in the Wizarding World, it can feel anti-climactic. Director David Yates struggles to find the balance between a plot that feels epic and intimate. There are too many characters and too many are new when they could be recurring ones. That said, the emotions at the end are strong and it gets you amped for more.
Once The Secrets of Dumbledore gets going, it keeps you invested. You won’t feel the 142-minute running time. It's rough around the edges but if you have any sort of affinity for the Wizarding World, it's worth seeing. (Theatrical version on an expanded screen, April 18, 2022)

Mads Mikkelsen is the new Gellert Grindelwald?! I am ... very unsure about that. Tbh I would've liked Jamie Campbell Bower, but Mads Mikkelsen?!?!?! Can't really see him as Grindelwald
I am still mad about the whole JD situation, not gonna lie, and I will never forgive them for this decision. But I actually think that MM will do a good job portraying Grindelwald. Even though I cannot imagine him with bleached hair!
JCB wouldn’t have made sense since he’s playing the young version of Grindelwald. 🖤
