Jerid's Sortie Order (1987)
"Hey, Zaku, surely it doesn't take you two and a half years to read a book." It does when you set it aside for several months to watch a ton of hella mid isekai anime, start the first G-Saviour novel and go even slower because of all the hella mid isekai anime, and then forget about both for several more months because you're too lazy to do language practice after work. But I did it eventually!
As with Char's Return, this is a single-player RPG with choose-your-own-adventure branching and turn-based combat. This time, you're Jerid Messa in the final days of his Titans training. When guerrillas take over a Federation base and threaten to use their own experimental technology against them, Bask Om gives Jerid 24 hours to save the day. Summary under the cut.
Setting
January, UC 0087. Buckland Base in Alaska hosts several experimental technologies away from prying eyes. Research into artificial Newtypes has begun. It also has a perimeter defense system powered by Kerberos, a satellite power station in geostationary orbit above the base. Using "Wave Catchers," microwaves received from Kerberos are converted into electricity that can power high-output beam weaponry, which could enhance the defenses of bases without large nuclear reactors. Kerberos itself could also be used as an orbital weapon...
In the Bering Sea to the west, Jerid Messa, Emma Sheen, and Kacricon Cacooler are five months into their special training program to become Titans officers. They are aboard the Graf Zeppelin, a massive attack carrier initially developed by Zeon but captured and completed by the Federation. The program is nicknamed "Top Gundam," a portmanteau constructed from the old US Navy's flight academy and the ace machine of the One Year War.
Characters
Jerid Messa: You assume the role of 23-year-old Jerid Messa at the end of his training. As the protagonist, Jerid doesn't come across as abrasive or comically evil as his anime counterpart.
Emma Sheen: A fellow student at Top Gundam. Described as a woman of Eastern descent with graceful features and the air of an honors student.
Kacricon Cacooler: A fellow student at Top Gundam. A rough, veteran-looking guy who Jerid has known for longer than Emma.
Bask Om: A high-ranking officer within the Titans who arrives at the Graf Zeppelin with a dangerous, time-sensitive, mission.
Alaska Native old man: Helps Jerid after a guerrilla encounter in a village. He has little intel but leaves an impact on Jerid by explaining his reasons for living traditionally.
Alaska Native young girl: The old man's granddaughter, who helps rally Jerid's fighting spirit and gives him another reason to complete the mission.
Ex-Zeon soldier: Crash-landed in the region during the One Year War, was healed by the Alaska Natives who found him, and decided to live in their village after growing tired of the war.
Enemy commander: A middle-aged man described as having sharp eyes despite an otherwise scrawny, hollow appearance.
Tom Cruising: Senior Crewman with the local guard. He shows up at the end to congratulate Jerid on his success and remind you that this is supposed to be loosely based on Top Gun.
Mechanics
MS-06MH Marine Hizack: One of three MS that Jerid can select for the mission; it confers an advantage in underwater combat but cannot use beam weapons. Its model number suggests that, despite the name, it's more likely to be the MS-06M/MSM-01 Zaku Marine Type that appeared in Zeta.
MS-09 Dom Blizzard Type: Presumably equivalent to the MSV-R Dom Cold Climate Type. It also appears in the game text as the MS-09F2.
MS-14A Gelgoog
MS-17B Galbaldy Alpha
MS-87D Nashorn: "Zeon's Phantom MS" that saw limited deployment during the One Year War, armed with a hyper rifle.
MSM-10 Zock
MAN-07 Grabro
RMV-05 Guntank Hover: Presumably derived from the RMV-1 as a hovering vehicle, although its in-book art depicts a machine with an upper body that's closer to the original Guntank but with a mono-eye head.
RGC-80 GM Cannon
RGM-79R Gundam Copy Type: Shares the same model number as retrofitted GMs that led to the development of the RMS-179; in the game, though, it's a clone of the original Gundam with Amuro's combat data.
RMS-179 GM II: One of three mobile suits Jerid can select for the mission; it has more HP than the Marine Hizack and is the only unit that can use a beam rifle.
RMS-106 Hizack: One of three mobile suits Jerid can select for the mission. It's used in the training exercises before the mission starts and has stronger armor than either the Marine Hizack or GM II.
RMS-117 Galbaldy Beta
ORX-003 Domingo: Described as the predecessor of the ORX-005 Gaplant, a transformable mobile suit with exceptionally high speed and aerial combat capabilities.
MAX-09 Dura: A behemoth MS nearly 70 meters tall and weighing 685 tons, it was developed from the Big Zam. The Dura has multiple high-output beam cannons, a deflection shield that weakens beam attacks, and, learning from the Big Zam's defeat, sub-arms with close-combat weapons. It is the final boss. Confusingly listed in the book's MS table as the MAX-09, on the back cover as the MAX-07, and in the game text as the MAX-11.
FF-3 Saberfish
M-4A3 Salamander: A hovertank armed with missiles.
Fa-223 Drache: Described as a combat helicopter, but its in-game artwork looks more like the fusion of a Luggun and a Dopp.
Dodai Kai
Story
Aboard the Graf Zeppelin, Jerid, Emma, and Kacricon go through their last big round of combat training. In a simulator, Jerid pilots a Hizack against up to three opponents: a damaged GM II, another Hizack, and the Gundam with Amuro's combat data. After simulator training is completed, the three participate in mock aerial combat aboard Hizacks riding Dodai Kais. (The number of opponents you defeat during the training phase determines how many skill points you start with.)
As aerial training concludes, you're all summoned by Bask Om. He explains that guerrillas have captured nearby Buckland Base -- and by extension, Kerberos, which is controlled remotely -- and are demanding that the Federation government release Zeon war prisoners. Because of the beam turrets powered by the Kerberos satellite, directly attacking the base is not an option. Neither is destroying the satellite itself. What about the Wave Catchers? Their locations are a closely-guarded secret, so they have to be found first.
If their demands aren't met within 30 hours, the guerrillas will use Kerberos to attack colonies. An organization as proud and just as the Titans could never allow a laser to strike a colony; the very idea is preposterous. Due to Minovsky Particle interference, someone has to locate and destroy the Wave Catchers and then call for reinforcements using laser-line communication from the Buckland Base control tower. The mission is assigned to Jerid, the one with the highest marks among the three trainees.
Once Jerid selects a machine and weapons, he departs the Graf Zeppelin in a high-speed capsule to one of two locations on the Alaskan coast. The mission area is a 6x4 grid and moving to an adjacent cell takes two hours, although this is reduced to one if a high-mobility item is equipped. All objectives must be achieved within 24 hours.
Jerid is free to roam the grid, encountering various enemies (defeating them earns more skill points) and procuring items that will help him later. Several, such as infrared goggles, are for the eventual infiltration of Buckland Base. Others are additional ammo or different weapons for his MS, in addition to repair docks that fully restore the unit's HP but require two hours to use. A few areas are also protected by minefields.
With the exception of two Alaska Native villages, the region is sparsely populated. He is more likely to run into a guerrilla than a civilian, although the latter do have items and information if you are able to converse. A young girl in one village gifts him a protective amulet that fits neatly into the breast pocket of his normal suit, which certainly isn't foreshadowing anything.
After destroying all three Wave Catchers and crossing the minefield outside Buckland Base, Jerid breaks into the facility in search of the communications room. There are infrared sensors along the way that must be avoided and gun-toting troops guard most routes. After reaching the room and sending the laser communication, the enemy commander and his men attack, but Jerid survives a gunshot thanks to the protective amulet. He still blacks out.
When Jerid wakes up, he's in a large dome under the base where the enemy commander has graciously provided him with his MS, repaired and rearmed, for a fight to the death against two artificial Newtypes loaded with Char and Amuro's combat data. Seeing the Gundam, Jerid recalls a family trip to Ireland where he met a girl who showed him a commemorative photobook of the machine. Jerid defeats both and the commander angrily prepares to destroy the dome from the inside, but since Jerid successfully called for help, Emma and Kacricon arrive to prevent the dome from collapsing on him.
Upon exiting the dome, the enemy deploys its final card, the Dura. It immediately bathes the area in fire and threatens to destroy the Graf Zeppelin approaching offshore. Jerid, Emma, and Kacricon all fight together and eventually bring the lumbering hulk down. (Although it's not a game over if either Emma or Kacricon die, this does lead to a bad ending where Jerid dies from extreme fatigue at the end of the mission.) With the Dura's defeat, the Buckland Base staff are rescued, as are civilians from the two villages who were captured after you left. You are reunited with the young girl, who reminds you of the one you met in Ireland years ago.
Jerid, Emma, and Kacricon return victorious to the Graf Zeppelin. Jerid does a victory roll on the deck, causing Bask to spill hot coffee on himself in the control room because, remember, this is Top Gun. At the debriefing, Bask promotes them all to Lieutenant Junior Grade and offers them the chance to become Gundam Mk. II test pilots (Two months later, the AEUG infiltrates Green Oasis and any character growth that Jerid experienced while completing this mission is lost when he encounters an autistic teenager.)
So there you have it!
Most of the story is contained the prologue and epilogue, as there's no canonical path to completing the mission. Only the Wave Catcher cells and the young girl's village are hard requirements, but given where they are relative to each other, you need to find a high-mobility item as early as possible. Same deal with items for base infiltration; you need at least two of the infrared goggles, wire rope, and landmover to reach the comms room before getting caught. There's probably also a fine line you have to walk between avoiding battles and fighting them for skill points, because repairs are expensive time-wise.
Dunno what's next; I certainly have no shortage of books to try!

If you were a pilot of any gundam, which one would you choose/which one do you think you would be assigned?
So this question has 3 answers
1: which *gundam* I’d like to pilot? Gundam Flauros (Ryusei-Go) from Iron Blooded Orphans
It can turn into a crab!!!
2: which mobile suit? The zogok, my personal favorite of the abandoned California Base suits
3: which suit would I be assigned?
The short answer? I can’t know for sure
The long answer… mwahaha
So the answer can broken into 3 main components
1: what universe Im supposedly a pilot in (and when)
2: who i side with
3: how good of a pilot am I
I’ll answer 3 off the bat and answer everything else accordingly. I am a decent pilot at best. Not *the* best, but not terrible. I’d at least qualify as an Ace Pilot (5 kills)
So 1 is a fun one because gundam has… a lot of different universes
This is currently the most accurate chart, just imagine the Witch from Mercury in the corner by the PD timeline
So let’s go down the line
UC
Earth Federation
So starting in the OYW (One Year War), the Federation got mobile suits much later than Zeon did, so my options are severely limited, especially considering I’m not part of the White Base. I have 2 options
The GM and the Ball.
I pray to god I get the GM.
There’s also the Guncannon and Guntank Massed Production Types I could pilot if I’m lucky
However after the OYW, the feddies created the Titans, and went through an experimental phase, creating suit after suit like the Hazel and Wondwart
The Titans would also make suits like the Hizack, Asshimar, and Gaplant, all of which are good contenders for being piloted.
Then the Titans got cut out and their MS stopped being produced and were all sent to storage or scrapyards. However the Feds were far from finished. They took the GM and make countless upgrades, making the GM II and III, the Jegan, and the Jesta
Now this is about where my knowledge of the EFF ends so I’ll move on
The Republic of Zeon
Now Zeon has a much more varied history, and I will be including Neo Zeon suits when it applies
So to start, Zeon had the humble Zaku, which then became the Zaku II. Later the suit was upgrades into the Gouf prototypes. Those are likely the suits I’d get if I joined in the early OYW
Now mid OYW is a fun one because Zeon did a LOT with aquatic suits. If I’m lucky I could land a Gogg, Zock, Z’gok, Acguy, or even a Hy-Gogg, though probably not the Experimental Z’gok seen in 0080 War in the Pocket
Towards the end of the war, Zeon introduced the Gelgoog and Rick Doms, which became their new mass produced MS
Although after that, Zeon dissolved thanks to all of their leaders fucking dying (The Duke was killed by his son, who was killed by his sister, who was killed by Char Aznable. Dozle died gloriously in combat)
However, thanks to Haman, Zeon rose again as Neo Zeon, and their army of transformable Gazas. I’d rather pilot a Ball than a Gaza, so I think that demonstrates how bad the Gazas are.
But that’s not all Neo Zeon did, as they also produced several other suits for their regular MS corps. Suits like the Zssa (pronounced z-sah, all one syllable), which I would gladly pilot. Look at her, who wouldn’t?
And Neo Zeons most infamous mass production suit, the Döven Wolf. The half pint Psycho Gundam covered end to end in beam cannons, with detachable arms that can grab into enemy suits, or swing beam sabers. Oh also, it has a psycommu system, which meant Neo Zeon had some damn FAITH that all their soldiers are innate newtypes
They also had the Zaku III, but that was kinda Generals only
Anti Earth Union Group
Rick Dias, it’s kinda their only mass production suit
I've reached my photo limit, so I'll just start directing to the Gundam wiki
And that’s all my UC knowledge
G Gundam
I’ve still gotta finish this one, I’ll get back to you on this
Wing
SEED
AGE
X
These are series I have yet to actually watch, so I’ll get back to you here too
Iron-Blooded Orphans
Gjallerhorn
Gjallerhorn isn’t very creative with its soldier suits, so I’d be stuck with a Graze, either the space or land variant
Tekkadan
Despite being a bunch of kids, Tekkadan has a surprising variety in their suits. I obviously wouldn’t be getting any of their Gundam frames, but I’d likely end up running a Landman Rodi, or a Shiden
Shidens are technically Teiwaz suits but Tekkadan uses the a lot
Turbines
They have Hyakurens. That’s it. Naze seems like a nice guy tho
Witch From Mercury
So this just depends on 1.5 things, whether I'm a student at the academy and which company I'm repping.
If I rep Jertuk Heavy Machinery, I'll be using a Dilanza
Peil Technologies would give me a Zowort
and lastly Grassley Defense Systems would give me a Heindree or Beguir-Pente
If im out of the school however, that would be a Dilanza Sol from JHM, a Zowort Heavy from Peil, or a Heindree Sturm from GDS. Im not providing the links, they're just variants of the aforementioned suits.
And finally, the Desultor (thanks JHM) if I side with the Earthian terrorist organization/freedom fighters: The Dawn of Fold.
If anyone knows more than me in anything I *have* talked about, feel free to correct or add anything!
I will be adding addendums once I've finally watched or read that particular piece of gundam media
Hope this answered your question! :3

"Try not to look down on it too much, it might surprise you!" The 'admonishment' directed at Kamille lacked any kind of heat, and came paired with a playfully wagging finger and a wink.
Yoruichi had spied him pondering the customized GM Sniper II of hers which had been loaded aboard the Argama while it'd been docked at Amman on the Moon. She'd admittedly interpreted the expression on his face as critical, but actually thought nothing much of it.
While the mobile suit was painted in typical AEUG colors like the Gundam Mk. II further along the hangar bay, there was little to distinguish it from others of its original make, at least from the front. In the back, only its four extra vernier thrusters might tip off an experienced or critical eye. It would be very easy to assume it was simply a relic from the One Year War.
Its attendant weapons rack mounted a curious collection of armaments: what looked like an original YHI ERRL-TYPE.Doc-04/380mm Rocket Launcher, a YHI FH-X170 170mm Cannon that appeared to have been pilfered from a GM II, and two Zeon weapons off a post-war Gelgoog Commander Type: an MMP-R00-D Electromagnetic Induction Projection Rifle, and what appeared to be its primary armament of an MRB-110 Beam Rifle.
The last two probably real drove home the hybrid nature of the AEUG, and possibly raised some questions. As for the custom GM Sniper II itself, it could probably only take the last and one other at any given time, presumably depending on the nature of the mission is was sortieing for.
"It could probably beat the original Gundam, forget about that Mk-II over there," she continued idly. Her confidence was understated rather than braggadocio, as though she was simply relating a fact. After saying that, she casually moved between where Kamille stood and the mobile suit itself.
"You're a mechanical whiz, right? Aren't you curious?" she chimed, suggesting he could accompany her and have a look for himself if he wanted to.

Alright, since I did a post on all the Gundam Units running around in the One Year War, and since I also just finished my big long post on Gundam: Code Fairy, I should probably do one on the Pale Rider series, shouldn’t I?
Being that they’re also very popular, and thus show up in a lot of places. I should note that I’m working off second-hand information for most of these, since I haven’t played the Missing Link Games.
I’m also going to talk about the original pale rider first, then I’ll deal with the others in (in-universe) chronological order in a second post:
The Original RX-80 PR Pale Rider (later retconned into being the 4th unit in the Pale Rider plan). First appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link videogame. It’s first known deployment was against the Slave Wraith Team, an Earth Federation MS team made up of condemned criminals, often used as an internal disciplinary unit (read: taking out traitors and political enemies of the group’s controller, Grave) after they were judged too much of a liability (betrayed). It was later heavily damaged in battle against Zeon’s Marchosias Corps (basically a bunch of pilots that Zeon doesn’t fully trust due to possible ties with the Earth Federation, but who are too good for Zeon not to use) and captured (along with its pilot) at a Baoa Qu, at the end of the war. What happens to it next depends, since the Videogame and Manga diverge here. In the videogame it is eventually refitted into the AMX-18 Todesritter by Neo Zeon (in UC 0090, around the time of Char’s Rebellion), which I’ll get to later. Whilst in the manga it’s customised into the Pale Rider (VG) in UC 0080, then used by Vincent Gleissner, former member of Marchosias, and fought against the Pale Rider Dullhan, which I’ll also get to later. The Pale Rider (VG) is stated to be repaired using Gelgoog parts, but really the only notable difference is it’s weaponry. Notably, the name Pale Rider is implied to be something of a sick joke - in normal mobile suits the Pilot controls their actions as if they were riding a horse, with the Pale Rider, it’s the other way around.
So there it is, the unit that started it all. While I do understand it’s popularity I confess I’m unable to really appreciate the design. Why is this? Well…. The original Pale Rider design could be described as taking a bunch of existing cool elements from the Gundam Sidestories and mashing them all together. While not a bad method of designing a suit (especially one that you want to feel threatening, or a culmination of that which came before it), it does mean that the design is going to have a certain stitched-together quality to it.
First off, the mobile suit itself takes several design cues from the GM Sniper II (some of the chest and most of the legs and skirt armour) stated to be one of the best suits in the war, and it equipped with a HADES system, a derivative of the (strictly-limited) EXAM system used by the Blue Destiny Units, from which it also appears to derive its head design and general colourscheme.
(I’ll talk about it another time, but the EXAM system is essentially a super mode, where the suits limiters are released, but it places incredible stress on the pilot, since they’re essentially being used as a biological cpu. It is limited to three minutes, otherwise the suit is put under too much stress).
Armament wise, it has multiple weapon loadouts, all of which use weaponry cribbed from other machines. The ground type armaments uses the same 180mm Cannon as the Gundam Ground Type, and is also equipped with a Spike Shield used by the GM Striker. Whilst the Space use version uses the exact same armaments as the Gundam G05 - Giant Gatling Gun, Hyper Beam Rifle, Shield and this is also where the Pale Rider gets it’s beam guns which are built-into it’s arms.
When customised for use by Vincent Gleissner, it’s equipped with the Beam Machine Gun from the Gelgoog Jäger (essentially the best beam weapon available at that time) in addition to its Beam spot guns in the arms, to replace it’s destroyed beam guns. It gets twin beam naginata’s from the standard Gelgoog, and has twin missile pods added to the legs (I assume they’re standard Zeon equipment, but the only other suit we see them on is the EXAM Efreet).
This isn’t meant to call out the Pale Rider as a “Bad Design” or anything. I think it does a good job of blending its influences together. It’s just that I generally find myself preferring it’s component units over it (particularly the G04 and G05).
I’ll talk about the other Rider units in a follow-up post.

SD Gundam Gaiden Knights of the Round Table - Chapter 5
<;- Previous Chapter
Crown's group breaks into the fortress. They take care to watch for traps. As they walk, Heavy begins to feel they're going around in circles. Red Warrior realizes why and confirmed why he was suspicious of there only being a single guard out front.
The real trap is the massive labyrinth they're now stuck in. They are also attacked by Ghost Hammurabi, but their attacks won't work on ghosts. The group panics.
"They can't get us if we run!!" "Where do we run to in this labyrinth!?" "C…Crown Knight…"
"Knights like you should not act so disorderly…we are the Knights of Britis!! If you lose yourself against things like ghosts or traps, you aren't worthy of being called a knight of Britis!!"
Crown uses the Vatras Sword to defeat the ghosts.
Dozel and Gelgoog Cannon are watching their progress, as they are expecting them to die of starvation.
The group tries another way by using candles. They fall into a water trap and are rescued by Kai, who got lost on another hunt. Crown believes they're stuck there until an old man appears. He appears to be able to teleport out and in.
"Kai…is that?" "Oh…this? It's the map."
Kai had stolen the map from the gatekeeper, but the old man says the map doesn't have an exit. He gives Crown a silver disk that will teleport him to wherever he wants and goes to Dozel's room. The old man vanishes.
Gelgoog panics, now seeing that one Knight is missing and then Crown arrives to fight Dozel. Dozel turns himself to stone at one point and manages to get the upper hand. Then the disk appears by his leg.
Crown's allies arrive and work together to defeat Dozel.
Shocked by the group overpowering Zabylonia magic, Gelgoog Cannon summons Ogre Hamma and Knight Gelgoog to call upon the "Devil of the Mirage".

FE: Three Houses - Mobile Suit Gundam AU (Black Eagles)
Byleth, Claude, Dimitri, Edelgard Here!
If Three Houses was a Gundam show, what would everyone pilot?
Let’s continue that question with the Black Eagles!
---------
A customized Geara Zulu (Guards Type) developed for Hubert in recognition for his services to Edelgard. In order to show that he is the XO of Adrestia’s Royal Guard, it is painted in violet colors and features more elaborate patterns on its chest as well as a blade antenna on its head.
Specs:
Beam Machine Gun
Beam Tomahawk
Shield
Lange Bruno Gun Plus - specialized for space-use, and functions as a long-range beam launcher. It has an extremely high focusing rate, and fires a highly penetrative beam at a very fast speed.
Although she is of Adrestian noble descent, Bernadetta explicitly refuses to use any suit that would garner attention, and instead chose to pilot a smaller suit, which arguably isn’t even a mobile suit.
Ironically, having chosen what other pilots from the Holy Kingdom refer to as the “Mobile Coffin“, and the fact that everyone pilots bipedal suits has drawn enormous amounts of attention. The fact she had piloted it so many times without dying yet only adds more to her reputation.
Bernadetta is also known to only stay in the cockpit and made a personal room out of it, somehow big enough for only two people. How she keeps everything like her bed and knitting supplies organized in combat is up for debate.
She has nicknamed it “The Bernie Ball”.
Specs:
180mm Low-Recoil Cannon
When Caspar became known for hit and run tactics during training and showed he had exceptional skill in it, the engineers following his late Grandfather had a suit developed for Caspar, though it was slightly inferior since a more advanced suit was given to Randolph.
The suit's role as a fast assault unit that was meant to strike quickly, cause massive damage with its varied weapons loadout, and make a fast escape. The Kämpfer was a very focused design, never intended to work outside of its role.
Caspar appreciates the suit’s simplicity, and favors the way it fights greatly compared to the other fighting styles.
The "E" in the MS-18E Kämpfer's model number was an abbreviation for an ancient word "einhauen," which translates to "one strike.”
Specs:
60mm Vulcan Gun - An uncommon feature on an Adrestian MS, the Kämpfer has two Vulcan Guns in the head similar to Holy Kingdom’s Mobile Suits.
Beam Saber
Sturm Faust - A simplified, disposable rocket launcher.
ZUX-197 Jagdgewehr 192mm Shotgun
Chain Mine - a number of disc-shaped mines connected to each other by flexible cable. Each mine had magnetic claws on its underside, allowing it to be attached to objects. It could be thrown out like grenades one by one, laid on the ground or fixed to a building as a mine, or (most destructively) attached to a single enemy and detonated. Caspar prefers the last tactic.
Being a commoner and from an Opera company, she was granted the most basic suit in the Adrestian Empire, the Zaku II.
Basic, but by no means a terrible suit. She doesn’t particularly care about the combat effectiveness of the suit since she doesn’t like to fight and kill, though she dislikes how non-flashy it is. She personalized the cockpit to her liking, including a radio and several photos of her classmates of whom she adores. (And cute boys/girls but they don’t need to know that)
Specs:
ZMP-50D 120mm Machine Gun
H&L-SB25K/280mmA-P Zaku Bazooka
Hand Grenade
The suit is a MS-05B Zaku I reequipped for sniping purposes. Compared to the newer suits developed by the Adrestian Empire, it is dated and completely inferior to it’s most basic cousin, the Zaku II.
However, Linhardt was able to improve the head using his noble status. Over the normal type, this mobile suit has an improved mono-eye sensor and redesigned head for better visibility and durability, perfect for sniping at long range.
While he uses the suit to disarm enemy mobile suits since he hates killing, a major reason why he did not upgrade his suit from a Zaku I was because he was too lazy to put in an order to. He prefers his quiet time while sniping researching crests and crest users, among other things.
Specs:
Beam Sniper Rifle
Leg Knee Pad - The suit’s right leg knee pad is unique in that when the mobile suit kneels down into firing position, the knee pad extends outward so as to stabilize the mobile suit not unlike a monopod on a rifle.
Brigid is an island on the planet Fodlan and is very tropical. With that being the case, the people of Brigid developed their Mobile Suits for water combat, not having to deal with space combat since their cities are mostly underwater.
After a war had its king killed, Petra was sent to the Garreg Mach colony in space as an exchange student as thanks for the Adrestian Empire assisting them in the war.
The Empire reoutfitted the Ace Suit of the Brigid army, the Hygogg, to be usable in space, as well as planetside combat.
Despite seeming awkward to fight in space, Petra manages to make it dance on the battlefield, surprising every enemy with her abilities, their surprise being the last thing they feel.
Specs:
Beam Cannon - The beam cannons in the Hygogg's multi-segmented arms use energy capacitor (E-CAP) technology, giving it greater firepower and a much wider firing arc.
Torpedo Launcher - Four torpedo launchers are mounted in the head. The torpedoes fired can also function as anti-surface or anti-air missiles.
120mm Machine Cannon
Vice Claw - Mounted on the forearms, they are iron nails and can be used as simplified manipulators or as close combat weapons. The arms' joints improves the vice claws' combat capabilities.
The Gelgoog Marine is a late variant of Zeon's final mass-produced mobile suit, the MS-14A Gelgoog. As its name implies, it was developed exclusively for Zeon's marine corps, who carried out a variety of special missions, and were only given to soldiers of high status and renown.
Ferdinand being the son of the Ambassador for the Adrestian Empire, he was gifted the suit at his request, being the spitting image of a noble in the frontlines for his people.
Despite the fact he was able to get a prestigious suit due to nepotism, his skills cannot be questioned when it comes to his performance, and is indeed worthy of the Marine suit.
However, pilots tend to dislike Ferdinand for always saying he is better than Edelgard, which compared to her Sazabi, he was an insect to her.
Specs:
110mm Machine Cannon - One of the features of the Gelgoog Marine are a pair of 110mm machine cannons mounted in the forearms, one cannon per arm.
Beam Saber
MMP-78 Machine Gun
Beam Rifle
Knuckle Shield - The knuckle shield is a modified Zaku II shoulder shield carried on the arm, with the curve of the armor fitting over the mobile suit's hand. One of the modifications is the additions of three spikes placed on the plate that rests in front of the hand. These spikes make the knuckle shield an effective bashing weapon.

Unicorn featured an awesome battle which called out the Zeon Remnants to fight. This led to a skirmish which included a variety of mobile suits throughout Universal Century Gundam, specifically of the Zeon variety. Let me know how I did picking them out.
