What a gorgeous song for their first week of release! Simultaneous releases like this is a cool showing of both voicebank versions, and made me appreciate the strengths of each.

PinocchioP - UTuber (ft. Hatsune Miku)

PinocchioP is back with another song that really shouldn't have a plotline but does, somehow. Really loving the Miku design here, very un-Miku color scheme but still visibly Miku (the negi twintail is a nice touch).

Kashuu Ryousuke - Shoka no Ase, Shishita Sanagara Chi ga Mint (ft. Yuzuki Yukari)

Summer is the perfect time for a song by this producer. I'm just repeating myself at this point but I can't get over how "dry summer midday on the edge of a heatstroke" their sound is.

I don't know how I missed this producer for so long (this song is from February), because this is all I want from an experimental/rebellion against aesthetics song: decently long, switching up between chaotic noise and beautiful melodic (and in this case orchestral) parts, and unmistakably robotic vocals with no room for doubt that this is definitely not a human being. 10/10, both song and PV took me for a ride.

back when there was massive hype(?) over vtubers i tried rly hard to get into them and i saw the hololive kitsune girl do a cover of the disappearance of hatsune miku and i was like wow what is this so i went to the og song then found rachies cover then began clicking on more yt videos and it was over for me from that moment on

i forgor the kagepro story but i love it. evillious is cool but idk the story but i like the main seven deadly sin songs. whatever cosMo has going on is neat i only know like 3 songs from it though. also shout out to Mikagura School Suite i always wanted to watch the anime but never found the time

Niwanowani - DISTORSHOW!!! (ft. Cryptonloids)

Honestly saying just "Cryptonloids" cheapens it a bit, since it features 2 versions of Luka (V2 and V4) and 2 versions of Kaito (both the V3 appends). I'm weak to ensemble casts so this was already gonna be a hit for me, but it surprised me how distinct everyone sounded, especially with multiple versions of the same character being used. The character designs are great too, and that end scream by Luka is one of the most ambitious vocalsynth screams I've heard in a while.

Funonika- - 暗駆り、陽刺し、輝く。(ft. Fourier Moreau, Kaeru-chan)

This isn't a recent song at almost half a year old but I just found it and had to say something (thanks @daily-voca-recs for getting me in touch!). Even without understanding the lyrics, both the sound and well-animated PV (also by the producer) takes you into its story for the entire 6+ minutes of runtime. Reminds me of the first time I watched tower of sunz with the Dark Woods Circus illustrator's PV or listened to Chikaku Kashikoshi-ron. Zenpen in terms of atmosphere and storytelling. While I've heard of Kaeru-chan before, this is my first time with Fourier Moreau, the producer's own UTAU, and he sounds great! One more producer I'll be keeping an eye on.
