No one can convince me that Georgia's State Anthem and Florida's States Anthem (Old folks Home) are *not* homoerotic love songs about a lesbian and a gay man respectively not being able to be with the one they love. Shunned out of their home towns for something they could not control, wandering the lonely roads, missing a kind of love they never thought they could have..cherishing every memory they had of each other...singing these songs in hopes it will one day make it back through the grapevine...the plausible deniability of the love being only for the states, only patriotic, only American..not the love that makes someone ache and yearn until they die and leave the world with a prayer that if heaven were real then God takes pity on them.
