Has there been any team up or weird legacy thingies between sandman, dreamer, dream of the endless, dream boy and dream girl? It's weird that nothing has happened yet.

Kamandi, Jed Walker, Tommy Tomorrow: The One split into Three, or The Three that are One. Who they are and what role they play in the fate of everything remains unclear.
Kamandi is the child of the Great Disaster, living among the ruins of the World That’s Coming in the old Electric City Command-D complex with his grandfather, the being once known as OMAC
Tomorrow is the child of the Cosmic Twilight, a vicious young man who dreams of conquering the stars. Inspired by the will of Ozymandias and Alexander Luthor, he claws away at a galaxy that fails to meet his expectations of it.
Jed is simply a Dreamer, asleep in the World of the Now but wide awake in that place called the Dreaming, The Sandman “Garrett Sanford” and the dream-demon Gault his constant companions.
Is Jed simply dreaming the distant futures of Kamandi and Tommy? Are Jed and Tommy the boys who Kamandi could have been? Is Tommy Tomorrow simply the unrealized apex of Jed and Kamandi? Are all three a perfect triangle, held between three worlds, never to meet and be reconciled into a Last, First, Only Boy on Earth?
Can Kamandi be the Tomorrow Walker?

Back in the days before we had a zillion different entertainment options, almost anyone with a pair of ears would tune in to hear the radio broadcast of a heavyweight title fight. Why I made that post about little critter fallout, well that was to talk about my fallout characters that I had made for said story. Again they aren't main characters but still I want something a little more, so I had made a bunch of the mod itself have a bunch of companions but I can cut like a bunch of them to only be NPCs
Enough talking, I wanna get to the companion to talk about
"Stone" Aka Garrett Stone
His character is a simple stoic hitman/bodyguard for a group of New Californian Republic Funders who reside within a tall building that has rampant issues with druggies and raiders on the bottom floor, while the top floor holds the rich NCR V.I.P's and Stone. The quest itself has its own story but for now, I wanna ramble about Stone.
Stone worked with the new California Republic at the age of 18, coming from Cave Junction Oregon. Boy with a past with weapons and survival, ending up dealing with cannibals from the northwest, fending himself from them. NCR ends up taking in stone for military service, during his service and hard training he was shown to have serious combat skills. Earning him skills and training to become an NCR ranger, but thanks to NCR v.i.p's he ends up in their hands as their personal bodyguard. The V.I.P's have made stone do various actions ranging from assassination's to clearing out raider groups. Stone becomes nothing more than the school grunt to a bunch of scrawny rich people.
The quest name itself called "City Lights" either starts with listening to the dialogue of a poor man leaning on the streets of "goodmen's square" complaining about the NCR and how they've been a pain to this town, turning the area of goodmen's square into nothing but a trash den, while the wealthy Californians sit at the top of the goodmen building. Arriving to the top, past druggies and raiders. You'll be shaken down by Stone, taking away your weapons forcefully. Leaving you to the group of people that sit at a big table, facing an orchestra. A man by the name of Mr Crosby, assumes you're a hitman like Stone and begins to put you through quests to murder 2 rivaling enemies of Goodmen tower. An angry waiter by the name of Abraxo, located within the Portland postal office as a raider. Another being an old sour man by the name of Sanford. As the quests progress as you track them down, another person of the table talks to you privately. Mr Wooding begins to tell you that he wants to look into a matter of his own, people of the group have begun to stab at Wooding's business and need to find proof if they're planning to kill them. Depending on which route you'll go, you'll end up with most of the group in Goodmen tower dying because Wooding's worries are found true. Or Wooding dies all because of his worries.
By the completion of the quest, they end up giving you Stones contract. Which allows you to take stone with you throughout your journey around the wasteland killing. Overtime taking him to places begins to liven him up, but keeps his stoic hitman style of life.
I include him within my mafia story but his setting changes a whole lot.

The Scribe's Reading Log
I saw something about how you can’t be a great writer unless you read, and I realized that I don’t talk about what I read. And I read a lot of books. So far this week, I listened to: Nine Lives Magic Mysteries boxed set (books 1-3) 😔 by Danielle Garrett Tell Her Story 😲 by Margot Hunt Zero Tolerance by James Patterson 😬 Crystal World by BV Larson 😁 Righteous Prey by John Sanford 🫣😱 Dark…

Hang on.
Wesley Dodds Sandman, Garrett Sanford Sandman, or Morpheus Sandman? 'Cause those are 3 very different stories, when crossing over with B:TAS.
(All possibly really good, mind you, but very different).
I got a question for you Mr Gaiman, have you worked on anything with the writer Paul Dini?
Not yet. We plotted some Sandman for the Batman Animated Series back in about 1993, even picked a voice actor, but it never happened.

I took time to check the appearances of Garrett Sandford, the second Sandman, pre Neil Gaiman, there aren’t many but it’s fascinating because you can see how it all came together.
First off, it’s the Jack Kirby miniseries, which introduces Sandman as the guardian of dreams, his nightmares Brute and Glob, and Jed Walker as a boy with some dream stuff about him. Jed initially lives with his grandfather the lighthouse keeper but he dies in the series and goes to live with his mean aunt and uncle Clarice and Barnaby (after reading the Gaiman series that was a serious gut punch)
However this wasn’t the end for Pre-Gaiman Sandman; Jed mostly disappears, making one panel cameos (although a cancelled comic would’ve revealed he was Kamandi’s parallel universe counterpart) but Sandman comes back a few times thanks to Roy Thomas. First Thomas brings back Sandman’s enemy General Electric in Wonder Woman 295 and 296; and then he introduces Sandman himself in Wonder Woman 300, where he gives Sandman a name and a backstory, as Garret Sandford, a scientist who created a dream machine but got stuck in the Dream Dimension (aka the Dreaming) and now he can only come out for 1 hr when he blows his whistle. This issue by the way introduced Lyta Trevor later Lyta Hall, the daughter of Earth-Two Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor; I’m pretty sure it meant nothing at the time (it was part of the issue 300 celebration), but considering how central Lyta ended up being to the Sandman story can’t help but take notice
The next appearance of Garret Sandford was in Justice League of America Annual #1; this story wasn’t by Roy Thomas, but by Len Wein and Paul Levitz and it’s interesting because the League teams up with Sandman to fight Doctor Destiny, who you might know as John Dee or the guy with Dream’s ruby. I’m sure Dee would’ve tied with Dream regardless, because of his dream powers, but seeing them together years before Neil Gaiman came along is kind of amazing.
Anyway, Sandford does not actually come back after that, but Roy Thomas continues with the story of The Sadman, now in Infinity Inc. Infinity Inc started out as the story of the Next Generation of Earth-Two heroes, with the likes of Jade and Obsidian (children of Golden Age Green Lantern), Power Girl, Wildcat 2, Hourman 2, Doctor Midnight; and of course Lyta Trevor (Fury) and Hector Hall son of Golden Age Hawkman and Hawkgirl (called Silver Scarab). I don’t particularly care for the story of Infinity Inc, but the things you need to know is that they started pre-Crisis, they ended post-Crisis (so a lot of their backstory had to change) and Hector died and Lyta was pregnant with his child; in issues 49 to 51 The Sandman comes back spying on Lyta at night and Nuklon (who was in love with Lyta) finds out, and gets Lyta to help him catch him and discover that *gasp* Sandman is actually Hector! Hector reveals that the original Sandman, Garret Sandford went crazy and died (doesn’t say he committed suicide, but the implication is there) and after he (Hector) died he fell into the dream stream and ended in the Dream Dimension and became the new Sandman, but he can only be on Earth for 1 hour a day; he doesn’t want to prevent Lyta to live his life, but they’re still in love so they get married at the beginning of issue 51 and go to the Dream Dimension to have “A Happy Beginning” (so much for that). So here’s the important part about this story, it was published in early 1988, cover dates April to June 1988; issue one of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman was published in December 1988 (cover date January 1989), The Doll’s House, the storyline that dealt with the superhero Sandman and Jed Walker started publication in mid 1989; Neil Gaiman was working with current DC continuity, he was building off the work of current DC author Roy Thomas; he wasn’t digging out some forgotten character, he was working with recent stories and it’s amazing.
You can tell how all the pieces of the story Gaiman told came together and it was current; it’s freaking brilliant and I love it
