Fishing
@bravetheperson- Thanks for the request!!
Sensei Garmadon teaches Lloyd to fish.
"Lloyd!" Sensei Garmadon called Lloyd. "Are you ready?"
"Just a little bit more, dad," Lloyd sighed as he brushed his teeth in the bathroom.
"You're taking a long time as if you're a model," Sensei Garmadon laughed.
"I'm not to blame for finding out 10 minutes ago that we're leaving an hour earlier." Lloyd said as he walked out of the bathroom.
"It's always important to be ready, son," Sensei Garmadon playfully teased Lloyd with his staff. "You, as the green ninja, should know that."
~~~~~~
"And here we are," Sensei Garmadon took in a breath of fresh air. "Finally in nature."
"We live in nature," Lloyd noted, looking around. "But yes, it is beautiful."
"The most beautiful lake in all of Ninjago and beyond," Sensei Garmadon said as he began to unwind the rope from the boat.
"Indeed," Lloyd looked in awe at the clear lake.
"Come on, son, help your old father untangle this boat."
"Gladly," Lloyd scratched his head uncertainly. "But I don't know exactly what to do."
"That's why your father will teach you now, Ha!" Sensei Garmadon said as he got into the boat. "Hop in, son!"
~~~~~
"Now slowly," Sensei Garmadon instructed Lloyd as he helped him bait the fishing rod. "Cast, like I taught you."
Lloyd cast the rod.
"You're doing well," Sensei Garmadon nodded proudly.
"What now?" Lloyd asked.
"Now we wait."
"How long?" Lloyd asked desperately.
"Maybe long, maybe short," Sensei Garmadon calmly replied. "Or maybe we won't catch anything."
"Really?" Lloyd sighed disappointedly. "I'm already hungry."
"Don't be like me," Sensei Garmadon suddenly said sharply.
"Like you?" Lloyd suddenly became interested.
"My father once took me to learn how to fish," Sensei Garmadon began the story. "Me and your uncle Wu. I was just much smaller than you."
"And what happened then?" Lloyd listened with interest. "Were you impatient?"
"I was impatient and rude. Just as I always was," Sensei Garmadon said with a strange sadness in his eyes.
It always hurt Lloyd to hear his father talk about his younger self, especially because Lloyd was similar.
"Father said all we need is faith. Wu catch a fish, and I didn't. That made me very angry."
Sensei Garmadon continued the story.
"I thought Wu always gets everything. But maybe it's because he listened to his father. Maybe we can try that too."
"To have faith?" Lloyd asked him. Sensei Garmadon nodded affirmatively.
Lloyd closed his eyes and listened to his father. He was very hungry, so he truly hoped that his grandfather's method would work.
"You did it!" Sensei Garmadon exclaimed with delight when he saw Lloyd's rod starting to move.
"Help me pull it out, it's a big one!" Lloyd groaned as he tried to pull the fish out of the water.
Sensei Garmadon helped him, and after a lot of effort, they finally pulled out the fish.
"You really did it," Sensei Garmadon said proudly and with a gleam in his eyes. "You accomplished what I always wanted, this is a huge fish!"
"We did it," Lloyd said, hugging Sensei Garmadon. "You are the best sensei to me, and the best father."
"I couldn't ask for a better son," Sensei Garmadon said and kissed Lloyd on the forehead. "You always manage to correct my mistakes."

Wu takes care of little Lloyd
Request from ao3!
"Another thing, Wu," Garmadon interrupted from the door. "Make sure to read him a story before bed."
"I will," Wu agreed. "As always..."
"And don't forget..." Garmadon interjected again for who knows how many times.
"Okay, Garm," Misako sighed and pulled him by the hand. "You've said it a thousand times and he's been with you many times. Let's go!"
"And don't forget..." Garmadon called from the hallway, but Wu didn't manage to hear the rest.
"Here he is," Wu closed the door and looked at little Lloyd watching his parents leave.
"Where did mommy and daddy go?" Lloyd curiously asked. "
They had something to do," Wu said and sat him in a chair. "So it's just the two of us tonight."
"It will be fun!" Lloyd enthusiastically raised his arms.
"Of course," Wu smiled. He was happy that his nephew was so excited and he was excited too.
"Do you want to play with me and my dragons and ninjas?"
"As always," Wu smiled and put his dinner on a plate.
"I love your pasta!" Lloyd smiled and picked up his fork. "It's much better than the one daddy makes."
"Is that so?" Wu laughed.
He and his brother always competed to see who cooked better pasta. Of course, Garmadon refused to admit that Wu did it better.
"Just don't tell dad," he said, pulling a chair next to Lloyd. "Do you want me to feed you?"
"No, I'm big!" Lloyd pouted.
"Okay then," Wu kissed him on the forehead.
He took his bottle and started putting something inside.
"What are you doing?" Lloyd tried to guess what his uncle was mixing.
"I'm making tea for you."
"Gross!" Lloyd shouted, and Wu turned to look at him seriously.
"You must not say 'gross' to food or drink," he warned him.
"That's what mommy always tells me!" Lloyd crossed his arms in anger.
"She's right," Wu nodded his head. "Listen to mom."
"What about daddy?"
"Listen to dad too." Wu took a while to respond.
"But still, a little, just a tiny bit more, listen to mom."
~~~~~~
"Look Uncle Wu!" Lloyd showed Wu as they played. "I'm a big dragon now, Raaar!!"
"Did you know that you really are part dragon?" Wu asked him and gently tapped him on the nose.
"Don't be silly!" Lloyd laughed at Wu. "It's not possible."
"Yes," Wu added. "Because your father is half dragon."
"Really!" Lloyd's eyes widened.
Wu knew that Misako and Garmadon didn't want to tell Lloyd about his heritage yet, but he just couldn't help it.
"Yes, and your uncle is also half dragon."
"So cool!" Lloyd jumped up and started jumping around the room. "We're real dragons!"
"Lloyd," Wu called him to come to him. "Will you do your uncle Wu a favor?"
Lloyd nodded, solemnly serious.
"Don't tell anyone what we've been talking about." He gently pressed his finger to his lips. "Let's keep that our little secret."
"Okay!" Lloyd said quietly and excitedly.
"Now let's go play!! I'll be a ninja!" Wu said and took a figurine. "Let's team up and save the world from evil!"
"Let's go! Raaar!" Lloyd ran around.
Wu was always happy that he could easily join in children's games with his little nephew.After all, games are the guiding principle of life, right?
Especially when they have something to do with reality.
~~~~~~
"Now that we've brushed our teeth, it's time for a story!" Wu said as he and Lloyd came out of the bathroom.
"Can you read to me in the living room?" Lloyd asked Wu with big eyes.
"I can," Wu said and sat on the couch.He allowed Lloyd to sit in his lap, as they usually did.
Once they were settled, Wu began the story.
"You know that according to legend, one day a ninja will come who will be stronger than all ninjas..."
"Will I be that ninja?" Lloyd excitedly asked.
"Who knows? Maybe?" Wu said jokingly. Just to cheer up his nephew a little. "That ninja will be a green ninja!"
"My favorite color is green!" Lloyd exclaimed. "What will that ninja do?"
"He will free the world from the greatest evil!"
"So cool!" Lloyd said. "Tell me more about the green ninja!"
"Maybe it's better not to," Wu's face darkened.
"Why not? You said that maybe I'll be that ninja?" Lloyd was puzzled.
"These are just legends, Lloyd," Wu tried to get out of the conversation he didn't want.He didn't want to lie to the child.
"But I'm sure that you, my little nephew, will one day be a great man."
"And a ninja," Lloyd whispered as he drifted off to sleep.
"Uncle Wu?" Lloyd said after Wu thought he was already asleep.
"Yes?" Wu yawned.
"Mommy and daddy have really interesting stories. But yours are my favorite! You somehow completely understand what interests me!"
"I'm glad to hear that," Wu smiled and gently stroked his hair as he fell asleep.
~~~~~~
"Look at them!" Garmadon said to Misako when they entered the house.
Misako laughed when she saw Wu sleeping with a sleeping Lloyd in his lap.
"So cute. Take a picture of them," Misako said. "So we can show them later."
"When I see them together, I don't have the heart to wake them up," Garmadon thoughtfully said.
"I know, me too," Misako added and turned to look at the mess of toys around them. "They really are just like children!"
"Wu will always be young at heart," Garmadon added with a smile. "That's why he understands kids the best."
New sibling
Misako informs Lloyd that he will get a new sibling. (Yes, Misako is 39 or 40 years old in this fic). Lloyd does not react well to the news and seeks comfort by talking to Kai.
Request from ao3
Misako sighed. She knew she should be happy, but she couldn't be if she didn't know how Lloyd and Garmadon would react to the news.
She knew Garmadon would be overjoyed. She hoped Lloyd would be happy too... even though she had a bad feeling about it.
Misako tossed the test into the trash and sighed again.
Theoretically, she knew she could be pregnant for a few more years. But did she expect that?
Not at all.
When she heard someone arriving, she walked towards the entrance.
"Hi, Mom!" Lloyd said happily when he entered.
"Lloyd." Misako smiled and hugged him. She had to do this now. She couldn't keep it to herself.
"Can you come sit on the couch for a moment?" Misako asked him. "I have news."
"Good or bad?" Lloyd froze. It surprised him that she didn't ask how his day was.
Misako didn't answer but pointed for him to sit.
"What happened?" Lloyd was becoming increasingly anxious. "You and Dad aren't leaving, are you?"
"No one is leaving, sweetheart," Misako said gently, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Someone is coming."
"Are you happy about that?" Lloyd watched her carefully.
"I can't be happy if you're not happy," Misako said, tenderly stroking his face.
"What’s the news?" Lloyd was growing more curious.
"You're getting a new sibling," Misako said.
"What?!" Lloyd was taken aback. "How?"
"I'm pregnant, Lloyd," Misako said tightly.
Lloyd paused for a moment and stepped back from her.
"Why?" he asked, bewildered.
"Lloyd." Misako tried to approach him, but he moved away.
"Why did you decide this now?"
"Things don't work that way," Misako said sadly. "You can't choose when you're going to be pregnant."
"Why isn't me enough for you?" A few tears fell down Lloyd's face.
"Of course you're enough for us, sweetheart," Misako said quietly, trying again to reach him. "I love you the most in the world, as does your father."
"Then why do you want to replace me?" Lloyd asked through his tears.
"Of course we don't want to replace you," Misako thought she might cry too. "You are the best thing that ever happened to us. For so long we couldn't have children..."
"No." Lloyd stood up.
"What's going on here?" Sensei Garmadon asked, confused, as he entered.
Lloyd walked quickly by him and out of the monastery.
"Lloyd, wait!" Misako started after him, but Sensei Garmadon caught her by the arm.
"Tell me what’s happening," he gently said to Misako.
"I knew this would be a bad idea, I knew it," Misako said, a few tears running down her face.
"What is it?" Sensei Garmadon asked gently, wiping her tears.
"I told him." Misako sighed and sat down.
"What?" Sensei Garmadon was tense. He knew it was something big.
"I told him I'm pregnant, that’s what." Misako said, putting her head in her hands to stop crying.
Sensei Garmadon felt butterflies in his stomach. He couldn't believe it.
He wanted to jump for joy and hug her... but it wasn't the right moment.
"That’s wonderful news..." Sensei Garmadon managed to say. "The best since we found out we were having Lloyd."
"But Lloyd thinks we want to replace him," Misako said quietly. "I... can't bear if he's..."
"It's okay, calm down," Sensei Garmadon gently said, hugging Misako. "This will pass; later he will be happy too."
"Are you sure?" Misako asked, burying her head into his shoulder.
"For sure." Sensei Garmadon ran his hands through her hair as he held her close. "You'll see, as soon as he gets back, he'll change his mind, and..."
~~~~~~
"What happened, Lloyd?" Kai asked when he saw him coming with red eyes.
"I'm scared," Lloyd said with a lump in his throat.
"Who’s coming?" Kai took a fighting stance. "Serpentine or..."
"No one like that." Lloyd sighed and sat down. "I'm afraid that Mom and Dad want to replace me."
"What?" Kai was at a loss for words.
"Mom's pregnant," Lloyd said in one breath.
"What?!" Kai exclaimed in astonishment. "That's great! Congratulations..."
"I don't know if it's great," Lloyd said sadly.
"Having a sibling is the most beautiful thing in the world," Kai said, sitting beside Lloyd. "I don't know what I would do without Nya..."
"But it's not the same," Lloyd said angrily. "You and Nya are a small difference, and I and..."
"A big difference isn't a problem," Kai comforted him.
"How do you know?" Lloyd looked at Kai. "I felt like someone wants to take my place."
"Now I'm going to tell you something," Kai said seriously. "I thought I would be the Green Ninja. I was a hundred percent sure of it.
Then one son of Garmadon came and took it from me. I felt like everyone had replaced me.
Instead of getting angry, I accepted him, and it hurt, but he became like a young brother to us all.
Even though we were scared... because we had to take care of him and train him.He..."
"I know you're talking about me," Lloyd said, smiling a little.
"See, you're already feeling better." Kai said proudly.
"Is it really cool to have a younger sibling?"
"Of course it is," Kai laughed. "You'll teach him and protect him. Play with him or her, save him or her from your parents when they get mad.
You'll be his or her hero, the coolest big brother."
"That sounds nice," Lloyd smiled.
"Of course it does." Kai patted him on the shoulder.
"I'm actually happy!" Lloyd said cheerfully, standing up.
"Of course you are." Kai laughed. "I can't wait to tell the others... Oh and Wu, he'll fall to the ground with happiness when they find out he'll have another nephew!"
"Maybe it'd be better if I told them," Lloyd felt a bit foolish, stealing Kai’s joy. "Or Mom and Dad."
"You're right." Kai said. "Are you going?"
"I have to go home and sort things out first," Lloyd said and hurried off.
~~~~~~
"Mom, Dad!" Lloyd shouted as he entered the monastery.
"Lloyd?" Misako said, coming to him. "Listen..."
"I'm sorry!" Lloyd said, hugging Misako. "I'm so happy. I want to be a big brother!"
Misako smiled and kissed him on the forehead. "I didn't want to hear anything more."
"I told you," Sensei Garmadon cheerfully said from the kitchen, joining the hug. "Soon there will be one more of us."
Sleep talking
Oneshot in which Garmadon talks while sleeping.
Request from ao3!
"I don't talk while I sleep!" Garmadon shouted angrily and slammed the door behind him.
He knew he was behaving like a child, but he couldn't help it. He hated that he talked in his sleep; everyone always laughed about it...
"Brother?" Wu quietly peeked into the room. It was Wu; of course, he immediately felt sorry for him.
"We're sorry." Ray said as he entered the room with Wu.
"I just can't help myself." Garmadon sighed.
"We know." Maya smiled gently. "You're not to blame, but of course, we find it funny."
They all chuckled lightly at that, and Garmadon blushed. "I'm afraid to say something wrong..."
"You've said a lot of wrong things, brother." Wu sighed with a smile. "But it’s endearing..."
"Listen." Ray whispered into Garmadon's ear. "If you like that Misako so much, maybe you should ask her out, huh?"
"Pardon?" Garmadon flushed even deeper.
"Well, you talk about her all the time in your sleep..." Ray shrugged.
~~~~~~
"Garm?" Misako yawned and turned over in bed. "I can't hear..." She began, then remembered.
Garmadon was talking in his sleep again. She lay down next to him and listened a bit as he spoke.
She couldn't understand much, but she clearly heard her name... and a birthday surprise. Misako turned over and put a pillow over her head so she wouldn't hear it all.
She started to laugh.
"What happened?" Garmadon sleepily asked.
"I just don’t want to hear everything about my birthday surprise." Misako giggled. It took Garmadon a few seconds for his sleepy brain to process what was really happening.
"I'm going to die..." He said, burying his face in the pillow.
"I actually think that’s really sweet." Misako comforted him and kissed him on the temple.
"Really?" Garmadon was astonished. "I can barely hide anything."
"That's good." Misako reminded him and smiled once more.
And Garmadon smiled a little too. Perhaps because of her, he would accept talking in his sleep.
~~~~~~
Garmadon and Wu were riding a train.
"Watch out!" Garmadon suddenly shouted loudly, and the entire train turned to face them.
Wu dropped into a fighting stance until he realized what was happening. Garmadon was talking in his sleep again.
"Wu eats his boogers!" Garmadon then yelled, and the whole train looked at Wu with disgust.
"Pardon? I swear I’m not..." Wu began, but Garmadon shouted again.
"Wu eats his boogers!" Passengers began commenting among themselves, and Garmadon wouldn't stop.
"WU.."
"Stop!" Wu pleaded desperately, shaking him. "Wake up, please!!"
"WU, DON’T STICK YOUR FINGERS IN YOUR NOSE, DON’T EAT BOOGERS!!!" Garmadon asked one more time before waking up.
Now the whole train was commenting on Wu and supposedly... "I dreamed that..." Garmadon said, confused, scratching his head. "I dreamed that..."
"I know what you dreamed." Wu said, utterly red, burying his face in his hands.
~~~~~~
"Mom." Lloyd said, walking over to Misako. "Dad fell asleep on the couch, and he..."
"Talks in his sleep." Misako smiled gently.
"I thought I’d say something different." Lloyd laughed. "I didn't know!"
"Come here." Misako said, sitting next to Garmadon.
"Garm." She whispered softly in his ear and gently shook him.
"Dad, wake up." Lloyd chimed in after her.
"Monkey in red underwear..."
"What?" Lloyd asked, astonished.
"Garm... Now it’s time to wake up." Misako giggled, shaking him lightly.
"The monkey climbed up on Wu's shoulder... and Wu screams..."
"Dad!" Lloyd said, laughing like crazy.
"I'm feel sorry for Wu." Misako laughed. "He always dreams something embarrassing about him..."
"Wu and I are monkeys in red underwear." Garmadon repeated, and Misako and Lloyd began laughing loudly.
"Red underwear? What?" Garmadon said, confused, looking at Misako and Lloyd.
"You talked in your sleep again." Misako smiled.
"I don'r remember." Garmadon frowned slightly. "Did I dream something interesting?"
"Did you remember anything about red underwear?" Lloyd was still cracking up.
"I..." Garmadon said, turning beet red. "How much did I say?"
"Too much love." Misako said, stroking his hair.
"That stays right here between these walls, okay?" Garmadon asked, looking at Lloyd.
Oh, God, he hoped he wouldn't tell the ninjas.

Entertaining Sensei
Sensei Garmadon had an operation and is now under the influence of meds and is becoming loopy. Misako has to deal with him while the ninjas enjoy everything that is happening.
Request from ao3!
"Are you sure you're okay?" Misako asked Sensei Garmadon as they were returning to the monastery.
Sensei Garmadon had undergone surgery and was full of meds.
"Of course, I'm fine," he said casually, waving his hand.
Misako frowned. From the plane, it was clear that he was under the influence.
"Maybe it's best if you sit down for a bit," Misako suggested when they entered the monastery.
Sensei Garmadon reluctantly obeyed.
"I'm going to change, you stay here," Misako said, finishing up and heading to their room.
When she returned, she found him spinning around in the kitchen.
"Garm?" Misako asked as she approached him from behind.
"I'm just cooking dinner!" Sensei Garmadon cheerfully declared, continuing to stir.
"If you're hungry, you should have asked me to cook something for you," Misako remarked, glancing to see what he was stirring.
"But it's more fun when I do it myself," Sensei Garmadon insisted.
Misako almost fainted when she saw what was in the pot. "You're really not okay," she said in an exhausted tone.
"Don't you like it, dear?" Sensei Garmadon asked with a grin.
Inside the pot were two eggs in their shells, two silver spoons, and some milk.
"I'm so proud," he said, adding ingredients like oregano and bits of cutlery.
"Maybe it's best if you let that go," Misako advised, cautiously trying to take the pot away from him.
"If you don't like it, you don't have to eat!" Sensei Garmadon retorted defensively and pulled the pot closer to himself.
'KNOCK KNOCK!'
"I'm going to open the door, and you better get rid of that by the time I get back!" Misako said sternly.
Sensei Garmadon watched her leave, then hastily turned on the oven and shoved his creation inside. God, he was really hungry.
"Hello, Sensei!" Kai came to greet Sensei Garmadon.
"Hello, strawberry ninja!" Sensei Garmadon greeted him without enthusiasm. "Did you prepare yet another catastrophically funny hairstyle for us today?"
The other ninjas chuckled at this, while Kai clenched his fists in annoyance.
"I won't take it..." Kai angrily marched toward Sensei Garmadon, but Lloyd stopped him.
"What's wrong with you, dad?"
"Ah, here comes my little green frog," Sensei Garmadon laughed heartily, patting Lloyd on the head. "And let me hear you croak around, what do you call it? Oh right, fighting."
The other ninjas were nearly dying with laughter, and Lloyd was completely blushing.
"What's wrong with you?!" he asked indignantly.
"He just had surgery; he’s literally drugged," Misako interjected, glancing at the clock.
"Go, Misako, if you have to, we'll stay with him," Nya said to Misako.
"And leave him in this state with these five?" Misako sighed.
"Oh come on, Misako," Jay tried to persuade her. "It’ll be fun."
"More fun than the fact that he’s wearing his pants that are down?" Sensei Garmadon asked.
"Aa!" Jay said, attempting to lift his pants that weren't even down.
"Just a joke." Sensei Garmadon continued to laugh.
"Hey!" Jay frowned.
"I really think you should take a nap, Garmadon," Misako said as she approached him.
"I'm not sleepy," Sensei Garmadon shrugged.
"You’re going to sleep," Misako insisted.
"Or what, are you going to call the police on me?" Sensei Garmadon raised an eyebrow.
"Garmadon..." Misako sighed, already irritated.
"You could take some medicine to help you relax.You're to mady."
"Don't bug me right now!" Misako shouted at him. "You're under the influence. You have to lie down; that's what the doctor said!"
"Remember that time when the doctor told you not to leave the house, but you went out anyway and got drunk, and then you were..."
"That was a completely different situation, and you know it!" Misako shot back, turning red. "By the way, what’s that smell?"
"Ah, my dinner is ready!" Sensei Garmadon proudly proclaimed, opening the oven.
"I told you..." Misako groaned and facepalmed.
"Record this; it’ll be funny," Jay whispered to Cole.
"Now!" Sensei Garmadon announced, pulling out his creation. "Who wants some?"
All the ninjas were dying with laughter, and Misako watched wearily.
"Good job, Garmadon, but unfortunately, no one is going to eat that." She sighed.
"Zane, please come here." Sensei Garmadon called him over.
And when Zane arrived, Senssi Garmadon smashed his dinner in Zane's face.
"Food fight!" Sensei Garmadon yelled.
"No!" Misako shouted. "Enough! This is too much!"
"The fun is just beginning!" Sensei Garmadon whistled and started to unbutton his shirt.
Misako tried to stop him while the ninjas all filmed and enjoyed watching their serious Sensei in such a state.
~~~~~~
"What happened?" Sensei Garmadon asked when he woke up.
He didn’t remember much, just the surgery...
"Garmadon, is that really you?" Misako asked, looking at him.
"What happened?" Sensei Garmadon looked at her worriedly. "I didn’t..."
"Look at the videos," Misako sighed.
Sensei Garmadon turned on his phone and started watching everything. He saw himself trying to take off his clothes, climbing trees, and doing even worse things.
All the while, Misako was trying to stop him. Later, the ninjas chimed in, and Misako angrily told them to keep filming so they could show him how he had behaved.
"I'm sorry..." Sensei Garmadon said quietly.
"It's okay; I'm just glad you're back to normal," Misako said, kissing him on the forehead. "You really drove me crazy, but I know we’ll laugh about this one day."
"I won't be around much longer," Sensei Garmadon said shamefully, swallowing hard.
He was completely red. He didn’t know where he could ever go in front of anyone after all this.
He hoped no one would ever see it, but knowing some of the ninjas...
~~~~~~
"Welcome back, entertaining Sensei!" Kai said cheerfully when Sensei Garmadon arrived.
"I heard you had a great time, brother?" Even Sensei Wu couldn't resist teasing him.
All the ninjas were laughing, and Sensei Garmadon was blushing. It would take them a really long time to forget this.
A very, very long time...

Down the stairs
Garmadon has a bad accident. Now he is ashamed to explain it to Misako and Wu.
Thanks Anonymous for the request!
Garmadon was walking through the halls of the monastery and lost in thought.
It was a good day today.
"What could I be doing now?" he wondered as he looked at the pictures on the monastery walls.
While looking like that, he didn't pay attention while he was going down the stairs. "Oh no, no, no, no!" Garmadon shouted when he felt he was losing his footing.
"AGAGAGGGGGG!!"
~~~~~~
Misako was in one of the many rooms of the monastery when she heard a loud noise.
"What?!" she exclaimed in shock. It sounded like someone had thrown a bomb and someone was screaming.
Garmadon?
She left the scroll she was studying on the table and cautiously headed towards the place where she had heard the noise.
She was ready for a fight until she saw Oni lying at the bottom of the staircase.
"Garmadon!" Misako exclaimed in surprise and rushed to him. "What happened?"
Garmadon was in immense pain, but he was glad that Misako had come. On the other hand, he was so ashamed that he didn't want anyone to see him.
"Are you okay?" Misako asked in a panic.
Garmadon gave her a pained smile. It didn't come out very well, as two of his teeth were bleeding.
"Oh my God," Misako said again with concern. "Wait here, I'm going to get Wu and Lloyd."
"No!" Garmadon shouted when she stood up.
"What?" Misako looked at Garmadon, confused.
"I don't want them to know." Garmadon groaned between painful breaths.He must have bruised them, if not broken them.
Misako didn't understand anything and then knelt beside Garmadon.
"What happened?" she gently asked him.
"I don't want them to know," Garmadon weakly said.
"But I can't carry you alone." Misako sighed. "And they'll find out since you'll be recovering for a while longer."
"But..." Garmadon tried to add.
"No buts!" Misako said sternly. "Besides, why are you so worried?"
"I'm embarrassed," Garmadon mumbled through his pain.
"Can you get up?" Misako was worried again. Garmadon tried to get up with Misako's help, but after a few seconds, he lay back down on the cold floor of the monastery.
It hurt too much.
"I’m going to get Wu," Misako said quietly and hurried away.
Garmadon no longer had the strength to resist.
"Brother?" Wu came down the halls looking worried. "What happened?"
"Just stop asking me and help me!" Garmadon yelled in frustration, he could no longer bear the pain.
~~~~~~
Garmadon felt a little relief.
When Misako and Wu brought him to the bed and examined him, it turned out that the injuries weren't as bad as he initially thought.
However, he would still be recovering for weeks.
"Can you now tell me what happened without yelling?" Wu stood by Garmadon's bed.
"No," Garmadon shook his head. He was still in pain and very embarrassed.
"Why? Are you in danger?" Wu didn't give up.
"No... I..." Garmadon stammered.
"You fell down the stairs, right?" Misako asked as she sat beside Garmadon's head. He merely nodded silently.
"Did someone push you?" Wu asked.
"No, I fell by myself," Garmadon said softly.
"What was so hard to say?" Misako gently asked and tucked a strand of hair behind his ear.
"I'm embarrassed." Garmadon admitted.
"It's embarrassing the way you fell." Wu speculated.
"Yes," Garmadon said quietly. "I was a bit lost in thought and looking around before I fell."
"Is that all?" Misako looked at him in surprise, a small smile appearing. "I thought something scared you."
Wu laughed too. "You earned all those injuries, and actually..."
"Please don't mock me," Garmadon said, feeling ashamed. He wished he could sink into the ground.
"I’m sorry," Misako and Wu said almost in unison.
"But it's a little funny," Misako said in their defense. Garmadon smiled a bit too.
He felt good when both of them smiled at him,he doesn't remember the last time he made them laugh.
"Please don’t tell Lloyd," Garmadon asked.
"Speak of the wolf, and he will come" Wu smiled and opened the door to the green ninja.
"Dad, are you okay?" Lloyd rushed to his father with concern.
"I will be," Garmadon smiled cautiously at him.
"But what happened?" Lloyd asked.
"Your father had an accident," Misako officially said.
"It would be best to let him rest now; he will tell you everything later." Wu suggested.
Lloyd looked at Garmadon, who nodded. "Hang in there, Dad. I'll come back soon. After you rest."
"Of course," Garmadon smiled, worried. "Thank you." Garmadon sighed with relief when Lloyd left. He couldn't bear for him to find out now.
"But he will know the truth, right?" Misako asked. She hated lying and Garmadon knew he was partly guilty for that.
"Don't worry, he will know," Garmadon said and took her by the hand.
"I’m going to get the ninjas." Wu said and opened the door. "And you, brother, be careful and watch where and how you walk, so you don’t..."
"Yes, yes, yes," Garmadon sighed. "This won’t happen again."
"I hope so," Misako said and squeezed his hand.

Beautyfull memories will help us in grief
Lloyd is grieving for his father after S4. Misako tells him the story of how they met to comfort him.
Thanks @p4r4no1danarchist for the request! I hope you will like it!!
Lloyd sighed and sat down. He put his head into his hands, trying not to think.
He wanted nothing more than to not think. Because whenever he thought, he thought of him.
The sacrifice of his father was still too fresh. Just when everything...
"Lloyd?" He jolted suddenly when he heard a voice behind him.
"Mom?" Lloyd said hoarsely, looking at Misako. His mother gave him a faint smile.
She was much better at hiding her sadness than Lloyd. He knew she was trying to be strong in front of him, but he could always read her.
"Are you okay?" Misako asked, rubbing his shoulder as she sat down beside him.
They both knew it was a stupid question, but they used it nonetheless.
"I miss him," Lloyd said, on the verge of tears. He constantly said that,he had nothing else to say.
"We all miss him," Misako said sadly, kissing him on the head.
"I don’t know what to do…” Lloyd started, then stopped to try to hold back the tears. "...to make it hurt less."
Misako gazed into the distance and furrowed her brow.
"We can't bring him back, that's for sure." She sighed. "Just as the grief will become more bearable over time... And until then..."
"What until then?" Lloyd quietly asked, closing his eyes. This didn’t prevent a few tears from rolling down his cheeks.
"Until then, son," Misako said, gently wiping his tears. "We can remember the beautiful moments we shared with him instead of constantly mourning him."
"Good idea." Lloyd smiled faintly. "Tell me!"
"What?" Misako looked confused for a moment.
"Well, tell me how it was when you were young... How you met and all those things." Lloyd said enthusiastically, looking at his mother.
Misako continued to gaze into the distance, still frowning.
"If it’s not too hard for you yet," Lloyd quietly finished.
"It’s okay," Misako said and took a deep breath to compose herself. "I’ll tell you. What do you want to hear?"
"How did you meet?" Lloyd said thoughtfully. "But tell me the whole story this time."
"Alright." Misako sighed once more. "It was before the Serpentine War, before your father went to train under Chen. Those were tough times for Ninjago, especially because of the Serpentine."
"But you said that was before the war," Lloyd noted, puzzled.
"Yes, but tensions between the ninjas and the Serpentine existed for years before the war.
Garmadon and I had some mutual friends, but we hadn’t met yet. It was either sheer coincidence or fate wanting it that way.
That day, I was in a bar...
~~~~~~
"Coffee for you?" the waitress asked Misako, who was sitting at the counter.
"Just a quick one," Misako replied thoughtfully.
"Are you alone?" the waitress wondered as Misako prepared her coffee.
"You could say that," Misako said absently and took her coffee when she heard a commotion behind her.
When she turned, she saw a young boy, perhaps 12-15 years old, arguing with two Serpentine.
Soon it escalated into shoving that could turn into a fight at any moment. Misako looked around the bar and saw that no one was reacting.
"Hey!" Misako shouted, moving closer to the arguing Serpentine and the boy.
"What do sss you sss want!?" one of the Serpentine hissed.
"It doesn't look like a fair fight to me," Misako said sternly. "Two against one."
"Maybe you ssshould join sss in," the Serpentine said, trying to strike Misako, but she stopped him.
Already, all eyes in the bar were on them.
"I don't want to fight," Misako coldly replied. "I want you to leave this young man alone."
"Ssssounds like sssomething a human would sssay," the Serpentine spat with hatred. "And you ss wouldn't be asssking who’s to blame sss."
"I don’t care who started it," Misako retorted. "I just don’t want you attacking this boy."
"What if we sss attack you?" the Serpentine hissed and put a knife to her throat.
Misako swallowed. She was ready for a classic fistfight if necessary, not this.
"Cut sss her throat," the Serpentine ordered the other. No one in the bar moved out of fear.
Suddenly, someone came from behind and pulled the Serpentine away.
"What if you fought someone your own size?" Misako finally breathed.
"The ssson of the firssst Ssspinjitzu Masster?" the Serpentine sneered. "You and thisss girl will pay for protecting thossse who insssult usss."
"Run!" Misako shouted to the boy, and he fled.
"It’s just a boy." The brown-haired young man replied.
Misako had to admit he was indeed quite handsome.
"You shouldn't kill!" the son of the first Spinjitzu Master exclaimed and shoved the Serpentine when they tried to attack him.
People slowly began to leave the bar as more Serpentine appeared to assist their brothers.
"Kill them sss!" the Serpentine ordered, swinging a knife towards Misako.
Misako turned, but the knife grazed her cheek.
"Come on!" the young man said, grabbing her by the arm and pulling her out of the crowd.
"We need to hide!" Misako told him when they stopped behind a wall.
"I have a better plan," the young man said, looking her in the eyes. "Don't be scared."
"What?" Misako was confused, then noticed a purple dragon appearing before them.
"You are the son of the first Spinjitzu Master, right?" Misako remembered what she had heard in the bar.
"Garmadon, nice to meet you." Garmadon smiled.
"I'm Misako," she said, shaking his hand.
"Are you okay?"
he asked her worriedly. His eyes were so beautiful. Misako silently nodded at that.
"And now, come on." Garmadon beckoned to her and helped her climb onto the dragon. "I'll take you to the monastery to help you with that wound."
Misako nodded silently again.
"I appreciate you wanting to help," Garmadon said after a while. "But you must be careful. The Serpentine are getting more aggressive and better armed."
"I know," Misako replied quietly. "But there aren’t always elemental masters around to help those in need."
"Do you know any elemental masters?" Garmadon asked her.
"A few," Misako answered shortly.
"Then I think we could get along, Misako." Garmadon smiled at her. "If you want, I can teach you a few tricks with weapons so you won’t run into problems like this again."
"That would be nice," and Misako smiled. "You always help someone like this?"
"Whenever I can,especially beautiful women like you.And the other do also." Garmadon suddenly became serious. "But these are hard times. We aren't always in the right place at the right time..."
"I know," Misako said angrily. "And most people just sit and watch."
"Maybe it's better that way," Garmadon said. "To not get involved in even bigger problems."
Misako felt called out, so she fell silent at this.
"I don't mean you." Garmadon clarified. "You seem like someone who knows how to deal with the Serpentine. You just got caught off guard beacous of knife."
"Definitely," Misako admitted.
"So, do you agree to the training?" Garmadon asked her, and for the first time, Misako realized he was serious.
"I agree."
~~~~~~
"Your father was truly always ready to help others, just like you." Misako finished, stroking Lloyd's head.
"First of all, he was a really good man." Lloyd said and smiled. "It's a shame some people aren't aware of that."
"The most important thing is that we're aware, that you are." Misako smiled at him. "Your fatjer is truly the bravest and noblest person I've ever met."
"I always wanted to be like him in every way. I hope that one day I will be what he truly was," Lloyd said quietly.
"You already are," Misako said and kissed him again. "And he is very proud of you. He always has been."
"Thanks, Mom," Lloyd said and hugged Misako. "It really makes it easier for me."
"It does for me too, son," Misako said and closed her eyes.
They could almost feel his presence when they talked about him. The sadness truly felt more bearable.

Unfinished business-1st Part
Wu and Garmadon's mother died giving birth to Wu while Garmadon had 2 years. Lloyd learns that her soul cannot leave ninjago unless she completes some unfinished business. Lloyd is determined to help her in this.
Thnaks @mysticmiracledefender for the request!!
Garmadon stood waiting in front of the door. He was excited. His mom and dad had told him he was going to get a new brother.
For some time, he had heard rustling, and then the baby's cry. After that, a suspicious silence followed.
After a while, his father appeared at the door. "Garmadon..." he said sadly, his eyes red.
Garmadon said nothing; he just looked at him.
"I..." FSM said, kneeling next to Garmadon. "You have a new brother. But your mother, unfortunately, will no longer be with us."
Garmadon stared at his father with wide eyes. His little brain couldn't comprehend everything.
"I'm sorry," FSM quietly said to his two-year-old son. "It's my fault. I should have known that one woman cannot bear to give birth to two hybrids."
"Dwdw?" Garmadon looked at him confused and hugged him. He didn't understand why he was crying.
"Oh my son..." FSM said softly as he calmed down and stroked Garmadon’s head. "Do you want to see your younger brother?"
~~~~~~
She felt as though she was hovering above Ninjago. She sensed that the earth wouldn't let her go.
She knew it. At least, she should have known. She had too many unfinished tasks and knew she couldn't complete them alone.
She only wanted to see her children and her husband. She just wanted to finally move on to the afterlife.
She could do neither. She watched her loved ones from a distance, waiting. Waiting for the moment they would come to help her.
To finally assist her in freeing herself from the burdens of this world.
~~~~~~
"Dad?" Lloyd asked Sensei Garmadon. "You never told me much about your mom."
"I have nothing to tell you," Sensei Garmadon replied sadly. "She died giving birth to Wu. I was two years old at the time."
"I'm sorry," Lloyd said quietly. "Was she half Oni, half dragon too?"
Sensei Garmadon shook his head. "She was a human."
~~~~~~
"Lloyd!" Mistake called out to Lloyd. "Come here."
"What is it?" Lloyd asked as he approached her. "Have your dad and uncle ever talked about Grandma?"
"Not really," Lloyd replied softly. "I only know she was a human and that she died giving birht to Wu when my dad was two."
"And nothing more?" Mistake looked at him with a frown.
"Nothing more," Lloyd said, confused. "Would...?"
"Then I guess they don’t know either," Mistake sighed. "Better for them not to find out until you resolve it."
"Resolve what?" Lloyd looked at Mistake, puzzled.
"Your Grandma may have died, but she never left Ninjago."
"How is that possible?" Lloyd asked.
"She had some unfinished business," Mistake explained. "And you need to help her complete it in order to free her."
"But how do you know this?" Lloyd stared at Mistake in shock.
"I saw it in a vision," she said and placed a card in his hands. "Today."
"But how can I..." Lloyd opened the card and frowned.
"It guides you." Mistake pointed out. "I can tell you where she is, but she must not say anything to Garmadon or Wu."
"Why?" Lloyd asked.
"It would hit them hard," Mistake sighed. "That's why you have to solve this before they find out."
"Then I guess I'm going now," Lloyd said and took the card.
"Good luck, young Garmadon!" Mistake waved goodbye to him. "Follow the card and your heart."
You are not a monster
After Crystallized.Garmadon's angst and his family who is conforting him.
@ogzieoggleton Thanks so much for the request!!!
"Father," Lloyd looked confusedly at Garmadon, who was rummaging through his room.
"What are you doing?" Concern was clearly heard in Lloyd's voice.
"Nothing," Garmadon chuckled falsely and hid something behind him. Unsuccessfully, as a Hawaiian shirt fell out of his bag from behind.
"Is that yours?" Lloyd asked in amazement.
"Um, yeah," Garmadon nervously picked up the shirt, but other things fell out of the bag. A brush, pictures, clothes...
"Um, no, it's not mine," Garmadon falsely laughed again and collected everything back in the bag.
Lloyd stood silently in shock.
"Are you... leaving us?"
"Maybe," Garmadon swallowed.
"Why?!" It was Lloyd's only question, to which Garmadon sighed.
"I don't deserve to be here," Garmadon turned towards the window and continued to stare out of it.
"Of course you deserve," Lloyd gently approached him and put his hand on his shoulder. "You helped us defeat the Overlord, rebuild the monastery..."
"Lloyd, let me go," Garmadon turned away from his only son.
"Let's talk..." Lloyd insisted.
"No," Garmadon said softly. "No talking."
"What's going on here?" Misako came in from the door when she saw the strange scene in the room.
"He doesn't want to talk to me and wants to leave!" Lloyd complained to his mother. Garmadon didn't respond to that, just continued to stare at the wall.
Misako gestured for Lloyd to leave for a moment, then leaned on the window sill.
"Why are you leaving?"
Nothing.
"Garmadon..." Misako persisted.
"I don't want to talk..." a rough response.
"You'll break Lloyd's heart.He will miss you."
Only sad frown.
"I will miss you."
A surprised whisper.
"Stop being childish!" Misako tried the last method and raised her voice.
"Who's being childish!?" Garmadon sharply turned and angrily looked her in the eyes.
"Um, mom, dad...?" Lloyd looked confused at his parents.
"Go out for a minute, Lloyd," Garmadon waved his hand.
"Explain yourself," he said and leaned against the window.
"You want to leave without saying goodbye, and you don't understand how much we'll miss you. Lloyd needs a father, no matter how grown up he is."
"Do you need a husband," Garmadon raised an eyebrow.
"Yes," Misako said after a brief pause. "We all need a family."
"We can't be a family," Garmadon coldly replied and started collecting his things from the floor into the bag again.
He didn't want to look at Misako or Lloyd, thousands of emotions were swirling inside him.
"Why?" Misako asked desperately.Garmadon paused and looked at his reflection in the mirror.
"Because I'm a monster," he whispered and continued packing. Then he stopped when he felt Misako's hand on his shoulder. She squatted next to him.
"You're not..." she whispered gently.
"It doesn't matter how you look, you're still the man I loved, that I love.Father of our son."
"How do you know it's me?" Garmadon whispered.
"I see it," Misako began, but Garmadon stood up and gently brushed her hand off his shoulder.
"Lloyd thinks I'm a monster," he told her.
"It's not true..." Misako started but Garmadon abruptly cut her off.
"Don't lie to me, Misako!" Garmadon was angry with sadness and despair.
"You didn't see how he reacted when he achieved his True Potential. Besides, you don't seem to know that his biggest fear is becoming like me!!"
When he said that, he turned to see the expression on her face. She was shocked and sad at the same time.
She didn't know how to respond to this.
"It's not true, dad," Lloyd entered the room.
"Yes," Garmadon muttered and turned away from Lloyd.
"I'm afraid he'll become like evil you, not like you are now."
"I'm not different from before..." Garmadon muttered.
"You are, you're changing. You're reverting to your old self," Misako intervened again and approached Garmadon.
"Seriously?" Garmadon looked at the two of them.
"Dead serious," Lloyd said and hugged him.
That was the moment when Garmadon couldn't hold back his tears anymore and buried his face in Lloyd's head. With a hand, he pulled Misako, who stood behind him, to join the hug.
"Do you think we'll be okay? Do you think we can be a family again, that you can forgive me for everything I've done..."
"We can," Misako said and kissed him on the cheek, leaning her head on his.
"I don't think otherwise," Lloyd smiled. "Do you know what the best way is to recover from a stressful morning?"
~~~~~~
"Seriously?" Garmadon asked.
Following Lloyd's instructions, all three of them lay on the floor.
"Is it that this is the best solution?" Lloyd proudly stated.
"You are a genius son," Garmadon said sarcastically."Were you eavesdropping on us in the room a little while ago?"
"No," Lloyd swallowed. "You were screaming so I heard you."
" Yeah," Garmadon said not really convinced.
"Well, I guess it's actually comfortable," Misako noticed.
"Huh, you see," Lloyd said to Garmadon. "Mom says it's comfortable."
"If you say so, who am I to argue," Garmadon said sarcastically, and all three of them laughed.
Even when they stopped, Garmadon continued to laugh. His heart was bigger than the universe.
For the first time in a long time, he felt like everything was going to be okay and that they could be a family again.
You can request something if you want!

The room
Angsty fic after S4 with Misako packing up Sensei Garmadon's things from what used to be their room.(This is the fic I announced please tell me what you think!)
Misako sighed and held her breath as she entered the room. Just two weeks ago, this had been her and Garmadon’s room, so dear and familiar and everyday...
Now it ached in her heart more than any spear. It had been a week since Garmadon had sacrificed himself to save Ninjago.
A week had passed since she had set foot in this room. It was cold from the window she had opened and never closed.
It was cold because of the memories she carried and the loneliness. In the past week, she had slept on the couch.
For a week, she couldn't get over the pain in her back. It was better this way, if only to avoid thinking about the real pain.
Last night, she had shared her idea with Lloyd…
~~~~~~
"I want to stay." Lloyd said softly, on the verge of tears.
"I know, darling..." Misako sighed. She had to control herself. "But I think this monastery has no meaning without him..."
"But..." Lloyd quietly sobbed and wiped away a tear that had slipped down his face.
"Come." Misako softly said to him and embraced him. She allowed a tear to trickle down her face as well.
"If it helps you, we can..." Lloyd began, but Misako interrupted him. "Don't think about me. I thought it would be easier for you with the ninjas..."
"I think you're right." Lloyd finally said and pulled away from the embrace.
"Pack your things in the morning and leave," Misako said in a firm tone. "I will pack my things and your father's things."
Lloyd grimaced at that; Misako didn't sound like she was ready to resist. She rarely spoke like that.
Lloyd didn't like it and he wanted to pack his father's things... But he knew this was for the best.
"I just now realize how much you resemble him." Misako said and gently stroked Lloyd’s face.
~~~~~~
Misako felt a tear slide down her cheek. She wiped it away and frowned. She picked up a box and started packing Garmadon’s clothes.
She decided to keep some for Lloyd and some for charity. She packed a pair of pajamas, unnecessary because Garmadon usually slept without a shirt.
She started to pack the gi when she felt a sharp pain in her heart. This cold room would never again be a home, a solace, love, or everything it once was.
She and Garmadon would never again share everything they once did. The beautiful and ugly moments. The love and the arguments.
As she thought of him, she felt as if her heart would break. It had already broken.
"I will kill you, Garmadon..." she quietly sobbed, burying her face in the shirt she held.
He had worn it so much that it still held his scent. Just like the whole room. A gentle breeze reminiscent of him.
Misako pressed her face harder into the shirt as she cried.
It was over.
Now it was forever.
Over, and she could still feel his touch as it came with the wind. She wanted him to comfort her while she gently held the fabric to her face.
The fabric she had pressed against her face a hundred times while they embraced... The fabric that would never again be warm because of his heated body.
She sobbed a little louder and heard footsteps. For a moment, she hoped it was him. It sounded like him...
The same rhythm, the same everything...
"Garmadon." Misako couldn't manage to whisper in a muffled voice.
Suddenly, she wanted to die and be with him... then she remembered Lloyd. She wanted to move, but she couldn't. He must not escape again!
"Misako." Wu said, looking into the room, trying to find Misako with her red eyes, holding a crumpled wet shirt.
"Wu..." Misako said in disbelief, bursting into even greater tears.
"I just came to help." Wu said worriedly and hugged Misako.
He was shorter than Garmadon, so her head was comfortably resting on his shoulder. He wasn’t as warm, didn’t smell the same; he wasn’t him...
How could she ever think she could replace Garmadon with Wu?
"Are you okay?" Wu asked her.
"No." Misako said quietly. "I miss him and I’m afraid..."
"Afraid of what?" Wu asked in a hoarse voice. He was concerned as well. "Of life without Garmadon."
"The most." Misako swallowed hard. "And of the fact that we will forget him and learn to live without him as if he never meant anything..."
Misako could barely say that and burst into tears again. She realized she was still holding onto his shirt.
She clutched it like a desperate person for whom this was the only hope for salvation...
"We will never forget him and...Maybe it’s best if we leave?" Wu quietly suggested.
"You go, I will come when I finish my task." Misako said, breathlessly pulling away from him.
Wu just nodded and stepped out of the room. He looked so hunched over and sad...
Misako gently gathered the remaining things and opened the drawer beside the bed.
"What’s this..." she said softly, looking at a small piece of paper that was there. She sat on the bed and opened it.
"Misako, my one true love. I just wanted to write to you to know that if anything ever happens to me, you are the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in my life.
Without you, I would never have tasted happiness, I love you to the end and beyond it. Your sometimes annoying husband, Garmadon."
Misako again quietly cried tears she didn’t know she still had.
He probably wrote this when he was meant for this occasion. How he thought about what to write and when... as if he had dedicated it to her now...
"I love you beyond the end." Misako sobbed and gathered the things she had collected.
"Goodbye, my only love," she said softly with glassy eyes as she left the room.
"We will always carry you with us." Saying that, she remembered Lloyd and rubbed her braided ring.
"I promise I will never take it off." She quietly added and smiled. "Just as I will never stop loving you." Saying this, she felt a gentle breeze entering the room and caressing her face.
She pressed the shirt gently against her cheek and wiped the last tear. The taste in her mouth was overwhelmingly sweet.
All the love and loss in that room. Thinking of him, she left a home that would never again be a home.
Freedom that would never again be freedom. Tenderness that would never again be tenderness.
Love that would no longer be love. Actually, it would be... but love from afar. Because she knew she would never stop loving him, just as he would never stop loving her.
She crumpled the paper and sighed. For the last time, she whispered into that air...
"I love you."

Unfinished business-3rd Part-Mother
Part2 Wu and Garmadon's mother died giving birth to Wu while Garmadon had 2 years. Lloyd learns that her soul cannot leave ninjago unless she completes some unfinished business. Lloyd is determined to help her in this.
In this part, Nathalie has one more unfinished business. And that is to say goodbye to her sons.
Thanks @mysticmiracledefender for the request!! Hope you enjoyed it and feel free to saywhat you think!!
"How do you mean to them?" Lloyd asked her, confused.
"Well, they are my sons," Nathalie explained to him. "They are one of my unfinished business."
"Should I bring them here?" Lloyd asked.
"I..." Nathalie hesitated. "Maybe it's better if they don't see me as a ghost."
"What then?" Lloyd asked her, still puzzled.
"You will convey my words to them," Nathalie sighed. "That’s the best way."
~~~~~~
"...And she said she loves you very much and that she is really sorry she didn't have the chance to..."
"Wait!" Sensei Garmadon said, standing up. "Where is she?"
"She said it's better if you don't see her as a ghost..." Lloyd said sadly.
"She is our mother." Wu insisted and approached Lloyd. "You have to take us to her."
"I'm sorry," Lloyd said nervously. "But she strictly forbade me..."
"Please, talk to her once more, son." Sensei Garmadon put a hand on his shoulder. "Please."
~~~~~~
"Grandma?" Lloyd asked in surprise when he saw Nathalie hysterically pacing around.
"I don’t know what else to do," Nathalie said, despairingly kneeling down. "I... I've been waiting so long and..."
"Grandma, calm down," Lloyd told her, kneeling beside her. "I know..."
"How..." Nathalie looked at him nervously.
"I conveyed everything you said to Dad and Uncle Wu," Lloyd tried to explain to her.
"That's what I'm telling you!" Nathalie exclaimed. "I don’t know what else is left! I returned the jewel and said goodbye to the sons..."
~~~~~~
"Are you sure, brother?" Wu asked worriedly to Sensei Garmadon as they followed Lloyd.
"Don't you want to meet our mother?" Sensei Garmadon looked at him, confused.
"I do, but I'm afraid she doesn’t want to." Wu sadly lowered his head. "She said..."
"Forget what she said." Sensei Garmadon came over and hugged Wu after a long time. "She’s afraid we’ll see her as a ghost. But we must see her.
We have to hear her voice one more time. That's all I want, and I'm sure you want it too."
~~~~~~
"You did not say goodbye to the sons," Lloyd interrupted her. "I did it in your name. But you didn’t."
"But, Lloyd..." Nathalie looked at him sadly. "I couldn’t bear to not hug them, to be seen as a ghost!"
"Don't worry about that, mother," Sensei Garmadon said from the cave entrance. "We just want to see you."
"Dad?" Lloyd looked at him in surprise. "You sent me here so that you could follow me?"
"More or less," Wu admitted.
"My sons..." Nathalie looked at them with wide eyes.
"Mother?" Wu looked at her with the eyes of a child. "Is that you...?"
"Yes, it's me," Nathalie sighed. "I'm sorry you grew up without me. Especially what happened to you, Garmy."
"You're not to blame for that," Sensei Garmadon said and sat beside her. "But yes, we’ve always missed you."
"Too much," Wu added, sitting next to Sensei Garmadon.
"Can you tell us about yourself?" Wu asked her. "While we still have this little time?"
Hours passed talking, and Nathalie slowly began to feel like she was losing herself.
"It seems that we really have very little time now," she said, watching as her hands slowly disappeared.
"I..." Wu wanted to say something but couldn't remember what.
"I want you to remember that I love you and I'm very proud of you," Nathalie said gently, speaking her last words to her sons.
Sensei Garmadon sadly sighed in response.
"Regardless of everything," Nathalie finished her sentence. "I am proud of you too, Garmadon. Just look at the son you have!"
Saying this, she turned to Lloyd. "Thank you, grandchild."
"You're welcome," Lloyd quietly said to her, and she slowly disappeared.
Both Sensei Garmadon and Wu wanted to say something more to her, but they couldn't. She felt herself slowly entering the afterlife.
Finally free. Her sons and grandson would miss her, but she would finally see her love again. She knew she would see them again. Until then, she would watch over them.
~~~~~~
Sensei Garmadon sighed sadly and sat on the bed.
"Are you okay?" Misako gently asked him and hugged him from behind.
"You know, I’m very glad you’re here." Sensei Garmadon softly told her. "Especially for Lloyd. Lloyd needs a mother."
"I wasn’t there when he needed me the most," Misako said sadly.
"You're never too old to need your mother," Sensei Garmadon gently consoled her.
His tone was still sad. "Believe me, I know from my own experience."
Unfinished business-2nd Part-The gem
Part1
Wu and Garmadon's mother died giving birth to Wu while Garmadon had 2 years. Lloyd learns that her soul cannot leave ninjago unless she completes some unfinished business. Lloyd is determined to help her in this.
Lloyd has to find the gem that his grandmother promised to return a long time ago but failed to do so.
Thanks @mysticmiracledefender for the request!!
"Here.." Lloyd said quietly as he entered the cave. "Grandma?"
He received no response, only the whistle of the wind. He had traveled a long way to find this cave.
"Grandma?" Lloyd called again. He regretted that in his hurry he had not asked for her name.
"Yes?" A figure appeared at the door.
"Grandma?" Lloyd looked vaguely at the green outline of a woman. "Is it you..." Lloyd asked in astonishment.
"Yes." She replied shortly."Lloyd,son os my son Garmadon."
"What is your name?" Lloyd asked her.
"I have been called many names," she said softly but answered, "It is best if you call me Grandma."
"Okay, Grandma." Lloyd was still trying to process everything. "What unfinished business do you need help with?"
"Did you come to help me?" She asked him, surprised.
"Of course." Lloyd smiled gently. "Than, you can finally go to the Afterlife."
"Follow me!" She said excitedly and vanished into the cave. Lloyd ran after her for a few minutes until they finally reached a dark room.
"Now look at this." She said softly to him. Lloyd sighed loudly as images began to appear on the walls around them.
"It's beautiful." Lloyd said with respect.
"It really is ." She smiled slightly. "Before I met your grandfather, my family lived far away from the Ninjago city.
My family protected a precious gem that ensured good crops and vegetation."
The image of the stone appeared on the walls, and Lloyd gazed at it in awe.
It was green in the shape of a deer and the size of a fist. Its antlers were made of white gold.
"I..." Lloyd had no words for the beauty.
"It is truly beautiful, and its meaning is even more important." She continued. "I left home and swore I would one day return the stone to its place and restore order and greenery.
However, I never found it, and all who lived there moved away."
"I need to find that gem and return it?" Lloyd asked.
"Yes and no." His grandmother said. "I know where the gem is, and you must take it back."
"Where is the gem?" Lloyd asked boldly.
"The gem is in the museum in Ninjago city." His grandmother sighed.
"What?" Lloyd asked confused. "If I tell that to my mom, she will..."
"No!" She exclaimed. "People must not know about the power of that gem. They could use it for evil."
"So I have to steal it?" Lloyd asked with a knot in his stomach.
"Yes." She said sadly. "Are you sure you want this?"
Lloyd thought for a moment and then bravely nodded. "If that’s what it takes to save you, Grandma."
"Then let's go." She told him and smiled quietly.
"But do you have a name I can call you besides Grandma?" Lloyd asked her. "What did my grandfather call you?"
"You can call me for short..." She thought. "Let it be Nathalie."
~~~~~~
"Lloyd, what are you doing?" Misako asked Lloyd in surprise when she saw him digging through her bag.
Lloyd looked at her and swallowed.
"Lloyd, what’s going on, sweetheart?" Misako asked gently as she approached him.
"I..." Lloyd sighed and decided to tell her everything.
After he explained, Misako was silent for a while.
"Here’s the key!" She said quietly and handed it to him. "Just please make it look like a break-in so that..."
"Don't worry, I will." Lloyd smiled and hugged Misako. "Thank you, Mom. Please don’t tell Dad and uncle Wu until everything is resolved."
"I promise I won’t." Misako said and kissed him on the forehead. "But your father already feels that something is not right. I’m sure Wu does too..."
"I’ll be quick." Lloyd quietly promised.
"Just be careful, son."
~~~~~
Lloyd quietly entered the museum and bypassed the guards. He needed to be quiet. Very quiet.
He took his mother’s keys and unlocked the door that led to the room with precious items.
He went to take the gem and then felt a knot in his stomach. This was theft...
He struggled within himself with the desire to tell everyone everything and the warnings of his grandmother.
In the end, he gave in and took a piece of paper and wrote on it:
"This is for the greater good, please do not look for it, you will not find it."
After that, he took the gem. A second before he left, he remembered to arrange everything to make it look like a break-in.
"I'm sorry..." he said as he dashed across the ceiling.
~~~~~~
"I have the gem!" Lloyd shouted when he arrived in the cave.
"Bravo." Nathalie’s voice said from behind him. "Now you can return it."
"Where?" Lloyd asked.
~~~~~~
Lloyd wandered all night. He wandered through the confusion and withered leaves. He looked at the map and planned a route.
"Where to now?" He asked himself. He looked around a bit longer and finally found a tree.
"Ha!" He exclaimed joyfully and went to it. On the tree was a hole shaped like the gem.
"So!" Lloyd watched in wonder as nature slowly began to awaken. Birds began to chirp and the vegetation slowly turned green.
~~~~~
"People will soon start returning there." Nathalie said. "Thank you, grandchild. I hope it wasn’t too hard for you."
"It wasn't." Lloyd lied. "What’s left?"
"Do you want to go home as soon as possible?" Nathalie looked sadly at Lloyd.
"Yes..." Lloyd sighed. "Mom knows what it is, and Dad and Uncle Wu feel that something isn't right."
"Don't worry." Nathalie smiled at him. "The next task will take you right to them."
