Give the essential nutrients to plants by potting mix So, if you want to strengthen the roots of the plants then the Best Indoor Potting Mix will be the best choice. It covers everything that a plant lacks by giving full nourishment. The indoor plants are not able to get proper sunlight so from that point of view, it aids a lot in its development. https://falajgarden.com/blog/give-the-essential-nutrients-to-plants-by-potting-mix/

Protect Outdoor Furniture During Summer Storms in Dubai
To protect outdoor furniture during summer storms in Dubai, it's important to ensure that all pieces are made of durable materials that can withstand strong winds and heavy rainfall. It's also a good idea to cover or store furniture when not in use or to use furniture covers specifically designed for outdoor use. Additionally, it's important to secure outdoor furniture to prevent it from being blown away during storms. This can be done by using weighted bases, tie-downs, or straps.

Please talk some more about Louis and Louis's ending. What you liked? Also why does Daniel look like he is cosplaying Grease?
i love louis' single divorced era, re-decorating the penthouse, out of mourning clothes back to slightly ugly grandpa sweaters. the last shot with him still in the rock garden but with paul and claudia close to him was a beautiful image of re-integrating and accpeting, actively living with grief. the choice to keep louis living in dubai is extremely interesting to me conceptually, because while there is all the upheaval indicated by the beforesaid it also holds a diverging movement of immobility even in this metamorphosis we see him go through. a transformed static representing a changed relationship to remembrance. as always in love with how the penthouse as a space functions as externalization, the empty walls a precedent for the change in louis' relationship, mindset and outlook on undeath. the very ending read to me as a mixture of suicide and challenge, definitely made me interested to see where we go from here. i appreciate that we end this season on a more self-confident, self-contained louis.
daniel as a vampire is just so deeply unserious and i kind of love it. him becoming immortal and immediately buying a hi what's up fellow youths three quarter life crisis leather jacket and wearing it over a dad rock shirt. the world's most just some loser vampire. the choice of having him turned by armand as revenge on louis is a solid segue for his relationship to louis going forward as well as what i'm sure will be developed into a future dm plot. overall it's giving a lot of qotd vibes to me. the play with age around daniel's character esp as it connects to louis' immortality ('you've grown old daniel'/'i need this one to live out the night') that is resurfacing with him being ultimately a recurring pawn in louis and armand's relationship ties up nicely, him now being physically old but mentally a fledgling. i hope he becomes louis' very casual rebound fwb and they write a book about sex toys.

More art on Interview with the Vampire:
The jigsaw puzzle Daniel Molloy is solving in one of the very first scenes of the show (s01e01) is a replica of Bruegel the Elder's The Fall of the Rebel Angels (1562).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The illustrations on Lestat's Mardi Gras ball invite (which can be seen in s01e07) are taken directly from Hieronymus Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights (central panel) (1480-1505).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both artists (Bruegel and Bosch) are mentioned in Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire (1976), as their sinister works decorate the walls of the vampire lair underneath the Théâtre des Vampires in Paris:
"I could see a world of frescoes and murals surrounded us, their colors deep and vibrant above the dancing flame, and gradually the theme and content beside us came clear. It was the terrible `Triumph of Death' by Breughel, painted on such a massive scale that all the multitude of ghastly figures towered over us in the gloom [...] I turned away, but the auburn-haired one touched my hand and led me further along the wall to see `The Fall of the Angels' slowly materializing with the damned being driven from the celestial heights into a lurid chaos of feasting monsters. So vivid, so perfect was it, I shuddered [...] The candle rose. And horrors rose all around me: the dumbly passive and degraded damned of Bosch, the bloated coned corpses of Traini, the monstrous horsemen of Durer, and blown out of all endurable scale a promenade of medieval woodcut, emblem, and engraving."

Hi dear
I was wondering if you have any theory about the inside natural environment in the Dubai house , like the pink tree and the little garden ? And is Louis not in the mood to go out and see some or he's not allowed to ?
An interesting aspect of it all, isn't it?
"Well, the interior designer hired was a sentimentalist. Some notion of hers, he was... missing the natural world."
That's... quite the statement.
The interior designer they hired for this apartment knows Louis, and Armand followed her(!) judgment in decorating the apartment. But also the interior design was done for Louis.
Given all the paintings on the walls, etc I firmly believe we're looking at the show's "Trinity Gate", the place where Armand and Louis lived at for such a long while - but which was also home to others.
Those others we have not seen yet (well, apart from Fareed), but that doesn't mean they're not there. Armand is on the phone with someone, and Lestat ... well. I think he is somewhere there, too, or at least close by.
But back to the actual design.
Tumblr media
From what I read by others the tree is a Magnolia tree. Magnolia trees are mentioned a lot in Merrick, I've written about it a bit here.
But the room itself is sterile, the earth covered with gravel. The bookshelves that are supposedly for Louis are hung up high, making them not exactly unreachable... but it is a powerful statement nonetheless.
There is one chair - this is a room for solitude, not company.
The ivy(?) on the wall is a dark creeping thing that seems to reach. And the light is artificial. (The ivy could possibly hint at Maharet‘s family tree?!)
Coming back to Armand's statement - if this was indeed made for Louis, because he missed the natural world... then whoever that interior designer is, she didn't exactly create this in kindness for Louis, or at least not in understanding of Louis, imho. Because...
This is a mockery of the natural world. There is no earth for him to touch, or push his bare feet into (which he tries to do at the end of episode 7). There is no sunlight for the tree. Said tree stands literally for the meaning of "love for nature, nobility, perseverance, dignity", and is the only natural thing there for Louis to look at(!) and reflect in front of. There is no place to lean back and relax comfortably with a book, as Louis so loved to do in his time with Lestat. There is no possibility to comfortably get a book from that library. The single chair has no backrest.
There is no green.
I hesitate to call Louis a prisoner, because I do not think he is one in the sense of the word.
I think he is deep in depression, and spiralling, and the apartment and garden and tree etc are all done by people who wish him well enough… but don’t quite understand him (or have lost the capacity to understand him along the way, a lot of the vampires lose touch with their humanity) or do not have the means to help him.
More than anything this pretty little room screams despair for me.
And so to get back to your question… I think Louis is in no mood to go out into the world. And Armand provides all he needs, but… ultimately cannot give him what he actually needs.

Interview with the Vampire: We Need to talk about the design of the so Called Rock Garden (Contains Spoilers through the Finale)
Something that my brain has been pick, pick, picking at since first season of Interview with the Vampire is that Rock garden in Dubai. I've been watching season two as it came out, but also rewatching it with a friend who otherwise hasn't access. Last week we stopped watching while they were making the deal to sell that artwork to discuss the decoration of the Dubai apartment because they had been pick, pick, picking at the interior design in general this whole time too. I'm not Japanese, so grain of salt here.
So a lot of people have discussed the way the bedroom looks like a prison with the bars and lighting, but it runs so much deeper and darker than that. We got talking about Louis' taste in art and design, much the way my friend and I hot into Louis and Lestat and fashion choices first season.
Okay, look at the whole apartment. Sure it's just generally in that soft brutalist minimalist design the rich are all into right now, and Armand who may or not be lying says they had an interior decorator, but that apartment set is not designed like some generic designer furnished it. It is designed like someone or someones told them what they needed, but also what they liked. You can see Louis in Paris' mid 20th century eye in things like the Bacon and the sort of furniture you see in the dining room and that sort of living room area. He was doing the American in Paris after the war bohemian thing and there was a movement connected to university culture and beatnik culture in America and American ex-pats from the 40's through… some point in early sixties with a particular type of interest in East Asian culture and certain types of African art. That's going be important in a moment. You can see little touches in all that 21st Century rich person soft brutalism and think it's all guided by the taste of the occupants, who want to look very up to date, but whose tastes and interests were formed in another time. It's really obvious in the bedroom, but it's everywhere subtly once you start looking for it. (Props to the set dressers who were on point).
Let's stop and think about Armand, for a moment. Armand who doesn't know who he is, both in the literal chunks of past are missing and in the psychological sense of he's spent five hundred years trying to mold himself to whatever he thinks other people want or need him to be, hiding his own desires and motivations from himself. He knows he wants/needs someone or something to mold him and he will literally do anything to get that, including burning down the last thing in such a way that he can tell himself he didn't really do it. Circumstances or someone else did it or made him do it. He is utterly ruthless in that pursuit. What he wears, how he presents himself is designed to appeal to the taste and expectations of who/what he's molding himself to. The Amedeo outfit for Marius. The dingy barely dressed outfit of his Satanist coven Gremlin era. The far more respectable outfit he wears the night in the balcony when he declares love for Lestat. The Post war European hipster outfit he wears while seducing Louis, dressing in hopes of being appealing in the way Paris' Bohemian side is to Louis who is dressed like an American college student abroad to study at the Sorbonne. The season two Dubai outfits, perfectly chosen to look modern and elegant but not too formal. Louis always dressed Lestat in modern fashions and Louis modern Louis dresses in a similar, but slightly less formal style…. Armand is dressed for louis. (Props to the costume designers who were on point. I love how in first season you can absolutely tell if Louis or Lestat picked Lestat's outfit in a scene, something we had a lot of fun with. We had a roaring time with season 2 choices as well).
So which things in the apartment are Louis and which are super subtle Armand touches?
Which brings us to the rock garden. Maybe the designer did suggest it as because the need for nature as Armand suggests in season one, but that's not what it's doing, is it? Nor is it functioning as the kind of meditation space they are trying to appropriate. Look at the real meditation gardens. Outside. Lots of live growing things. Boulders suggesting islands and/or mountains. Raked soft sand to suggest water or wind. The whole design is intended to aid meditation, right?
Now look at the travesty in the Dubai apartment. It's a prison cell. A beautifully made, super expensive prison cell, but the stark white brutalist walls and hard angles. Light from above like light through a grate into a prisoner's cell in a ninetieth century novel about the olden days. One sad tree instead of a whole surrounding garden. It's a cell or a prison yard, it's not a meditation space.
Books are kept high up with no ladders where only vampires can access them and Armand cut pages away supposedly for Louis' own good, though not really. Literally and symbolically both it's the opposite of a public library with easily accessible knowledge anyone can have. Armand entirely controls and drip drips whatever narrative he wants to share
Now lets get back to the sand in the meditation area, shall we? Is it soft white sand? No. It's rocks. Small rocks. That can't be comfortable right? So before I even saw the finale, I was saying: I can see a caring partner of a depressed person who can't go outside in the day making an indoor meditation garden to help them, but this isn't that garden. This is a stark and depressing prison cell designed to look like caring but actually sabotaging healing. I can't imagine digging my toes into gravel to meditate (Characters periodically do that: burrow there feet into the pale white gravel), it's distracting.
Then the Finale dropped and I'm sure of it. That is literally the type of gravel they buried Louis in. O.o Louis still has the same gravel inside his feet and ankles, his skin having grown over them during the most traumatic period of his life. he was mourning Claudia and starving and being driven mad by the most extreme form of solitary confinement I can think of. Every step must still be a torment to him, like the little mermaid's sensation of walking on knives. Every step Louis takes reminds him of the loss of his daughter/sister. Talk about penance. O.o So knowing this, either Armand or Louis had the designer fill the false meditation room with a torture device and got the designer to trick it out like a cell.
Seriously, I can't work out which is more fucked up: Armand doing it to keep Louis sick and fragile and too depressed to leave or Louis doing it to himself as a form of self harm. Either way it's seriously fucked up.
Can someone get these three Vampires (Louis, Lestat, and Armand) a real psychiatrist and not just a reasonably self aware journalist who has made a wreck of his life? Let's through in some professional help for Daniel too while we are at it.
Seriously, I am this close to going absolutely feral over this show the way I did for Black Sails and for the same fucking reason.

I think she spent a ton on PR. Millions most likely. I also would be willing to bet she spent millions on decorating that house. Their security also has to be pricey because it seems like they hire a ton of guards when they go out for events.
Glad to see you back, for however long we have you. sorry to hijack your inbox..
To your point Sassy, I would like to add/point out something... The luxury lifestyle (faux Royal) Lifestyle MM is trying to emulate is expensive as we have all said before. There is a reason celebrities don't spend the way MM does. And those that do, have money coming in by the tens of millions every year guaranteed, be it real estate, Investments, Own businesses, and stuff like that, the likes of Beyonce, Taylor swift, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Johnny Depp, Kim K and the rest. They can afford the 24hr high tech security because they can rely on their other incomes to generate revenue (Whilst they sleep they are still earning money) i.e Beyonce (doubt this will happen), she can balance it out by doing a concert in Dubai, for 23 million dollars. (there is a reason they were able to buy the most expensive home in California worth 200 million) or release and album and do a tour like other artists. People like Depp can do it because for their own health (drug/alcohol addiction) and they also amassed wealth to the point it wouldn't hurt them one bit to have said security. Lets not talk about Kim K.
There is a reason actors and A listers don't so security, except for specific events, its expensive, attracts attention, and literally screams look at me.
Buying a 14million dollar home, with a mortgage, property taxes, 24hr security, Household staff, Archewell staff, Private Jets, PR management, Lawyers retainer and fees for all the lawsuits they come up with. exclusive packages, Clothes, Interior design of the olive garden... All of this with no guarantee of returns. (because MM is lazy). I wonder which financial/Wealth manager advised them because... I would have fired them immediately. No wealth manager worth their salt would let their client hedge their bets on the spotify, random house and Netflix contracts that have yet to be fulfilled. They would tell you, let the money come in the bank accounts and then make those purchase... especially during the start of Covid.
As much as i don't like Todger at least he is working for his supper. Heart of Invictus, The South Africa doc (should he get someone good to direct it, it could be good), The Spare, and the interviews/promotion of the book i.e Gabor Mate, Job at Better Up.
Madam got 80M and thought that will be enough? What exactly has she done for that money? The bench? Archetypes?, 40 X40?,Pearl? all flops... her Ideas are not generating income of any kind.
The doc was both of them so credit goes to both.
Great points!
Thanks! I will try and stick around for a few days this time. I do lurk on here but tend to come back for the juicy stuff.
They are living a champagne lifestyle on a basic beer budget.
