[Hanfu · 漢服]Chinese immortal Hanfu <灵芝玉女/Goddess holding Ling Zhi> Based On Yuan Dynasty Taoist Temple Mural<永乐宫/Yongle Palace>
【Historical Artifact Reference】:
▶ China Yongle Temple(永乐宫) Murals showing<灵芝玉女 / Goddess holding Lingzhi>
🍄The significance of Lingzhi in China🍄
In Chinese art, the lingzhi symbolizes great health and longevity, as depicted in the imperial Forbidden City and Summer Palace. It was a talisman for luck in the traditional culture of China, and the goddess of healing Guanyin is sometimes depicted holding a lingzhi mushroom
The Old Chinese name for lingzhi 靈芝 was first recorded during the Han dynasty (206 BC – 9 AD). In the Chinese language, língzhī (靈芝) is a compound. It comprises líng (靈); "spirit, spiritual; soul; miraculous; sacred; divine; mysterious; efficacious; effective)" as, for example, in the name of the Lingyan Temple in Jinan, and zhī (芝); "(traditional) plant of longevity; fungus; seed; branch; mushroom; excrescence"). Fabrizio Pregadio notes, "The term zhi, which has no equivalent in Western languages, refers to a variety of supermundane substances often described as plants, fungi, or 'excrescences'."Zhi occurs in other Chinese plant names, such as zhīmá (芝麻; "sesame" or "seed"), and was anciently used a phonetic loan character for zhǐ (芷; "Angelica iris"). Chinese differentiates Ganoderma species into chìzhī (赤芝; "red mushroom") G. lingzhi, and zǐzhī (紫芝; "purple mushroom") Ganoderma sinense.
In the chronicles of Shiji (1st century CE from Sima Qian), the initial use of nearby separately related words with Chinese: 芝 and Chinese: 靈 are attested to in the poems of Emperor Wu of Han. Later, in the 1st century CE through the poetry of Ban Gu, occurred the first combination of the characters 靈芝 together into a single word.

Director: Fang Runnan / Tao Xiaoyou / Liu Mingsheng / Lin Bowen / Xue Fangyi Screenwriter: Su Mu Starring: Li Ye / Sun Ye Genre: Drama / Comedy / Animation Country/Region of Production: Mainland China Language: Mandarin Chinese First broadcast: 2005-02-09 (Mainland China) Number of episodes: 104 Single episode length: 12 minutes Also known as: 天上掉下個豬八戒 Type: Retelling
Summary:
At the Queen Mother 's birthday party, Marshal Tianpeng coveted Fairy Chang'e's beauty and pursued her daringly, so he was punished by the Jade Emperor and demoted to earth. During the escort, Marshal Tianpeng broke free from his shackles and wanted to escape, but he was accidentally reincarnated as a pig. In order to help Zhu Bajie, Guanyin Bodhisattva gave him Ganoderma lucidum, and Zhu Bajie's appearance changed from a pig to a pig's head and a human body. Zhu Bajie couldn't bear the humiliation and flew back to heaven to seek an explanation from the Jade Emperor, but was ridiculed by his former lieutenant Fudi. In order to retaliate against Fudi, Zhu Bajie dug up the Tianhe River, and Fudi was demoted to the human world. Tu Tu invited Zhu Bajie to be the security guard of his temple. Zhu Bajie drove away the wild boars that often caused trouble, but he could not deal with the cunning mice. Fudi therefore harbored a grudge against Zhu Bajie, and the two began to battle wits in the human world, which led to a series of hilarious and humorous stories.

Fun fact: Ganyu hates rumors and idle gossip as she does not see them as constructive or productive as well as detesting the idea of tearing anyone down. I figured that after a few centuries, it gets pretty old. The proof? Ganyu's voice line about Beidou.
"Recently, everyone in Yujing Terrace has been saying nasty things about the Crux Fleet. But in my personal opinion, Beidou's contribution to Liyue Harbor goes far beyond what those miserable rumor-loving heathens could even contemplate! ...Oops! I'm sorry, I... I'm not quite sure how that one slipped out..."
(Translation: Liyue is off for the better because of her and she would know because she's seen the nation at much worse.)
Another fun fact: Yae Miko holds Ganyu in quite the high regard as her voice line indicates. The voice line also implies that she would do this quite often and naturally, she would be friendly and almost fond of her in this sense.
"Hmm, now that you mention it, it's been a while since I last saw Ganyu. Before the Sakoku Decree came into effect, the two of us would often meet to discuss bilateral relations between our two nations. I always found her quite reliable. The next time you go to Liyue, take her some more fresh Sea Ganoderma for me."
(Translation: Not only are we besties, we try to keep in frequent contact.)
Why am I bringing this up?
Because despite Ganyu's distaste for rumors and how Miko thrives off of it and loves digging around for the source, their friendship works. And it's beautiful.
Another post about little nuggets of character interactions, lore, and other things I notice brought to you by 'this fandom has not paid enough attention to [insert gripe here]'. I'm quite glad that you like getting these. I quite like sending them.
NARKY PLEASE THAT SIDENOTE T_T I do quite like getting these. May Narky's miniseries continue!
Ganyu has never struck me as someone who values productivity and efficiency, that feels more like Keqing's domain. Rather, Ganyu as a whole seems to be someone who wants to be that way, but finds it difficult (based on her voicelines about Rex Lapis and she talks about avoiding major mistakes after a few HUNDRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE???!!)
That said, I interpret her outburst re: Beidou to be more of outrage that such unfounded rumours are swirling about someone close to her.
Fact that she told the traveller, though, suggests she might be a little loose-lipped sometimes... and knowing Miko, she's probably already extracted a thousand juicy nuggets about Liyue's icons from Ganyu. WHICH IS FUNNY.... MIKO PROBABLY KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CRUX'S ILLEGAL WORK FROM GANYU LMAO
Ganyu's so shy and Miko's so good with people, I can imagine her just following Miko around and answering her questions and inadvertently revealing too much along the way...
And Miko just laughs and finds it entertaining because Ganyu's fascinating; she is half-human and half-qilin, she has perspectives of the mortal and immortal worlds that Miko can't even dream of experiencing, being a kitsune herself.
I like to think "bilateral relations" is just their work cover for meeting. Like sure, they talk and they get work out of the way, but I'm sure theirs is a special friendship: they are, after all, two immortals living amidst mortals, and Miko was lonely for centuries with Ei in the plane and all of her youkai friends dead :(
Miko's view of the mortal world also seems to fall in line with Ganyu's. I like to think she learned that partly from Ganyu and her centuries of working alongside humans!
Also the interesting thing is Ganyu doesn't have a voice line about Miko, so we're left to wonder what her opinion of Guuji Yae is. It's also interesting that Ganyu is the one who represents Liyue in bilateral relations... she's the General Secretary!! Shouldn't one of the Qixing be involved?! Or perhaps they see value in having a half-qilin cultivate relations with a kitsune? After all, Ganyu has seen multiple generations of Qixing come and go, and Miko has outlived countless shrine maidens... how did this unlikely friendship come about, anyway? We'll never know until Ganyu talks about Miko...

Lingzhi
Lingzhi, also known as Ganoderma lingzhi, is a polypore mushroom native to East Asia. It has a reddish-brown color and has a kidney-shaped cap with bands and peripherally inserted stem. It lacks gills on its underside. Instead releases its spores via fine pores in yellow colors. It grows at the stumps and base of deciduous trees. Only two or three out of 10,000 aged trees will have Lingzhi, so therefore finding it out in the wild is rare.
William Curtis, an English Botantist, gave the Lingzhi its first binomial name, Boletus lucidus, in 1781. In 1881, Petter Adolf named the genus Ganoderma.
This mushroom has been used countless of times for tradition Chinese medicine. It's supposed to help your immune system, although there have been times that it causes digestive issues in some people. However, these people usually have low blood pressure, have immune system medications or disorders, are taking diabetes medications, or are taking therapy to raise your blood pressure. Lingzhi has a bitter taste, so in order to combat this, it is usually prepared as a hot water extract product for use in medicine.
This was pretty short, i'll add more later probably...most likely

Low-Cost Cultivation Protocol for Ganoderma lucidum
Abstract
Ganoderma lucidum commonly known as lingzhi mushroom, or reishi mushroom in some countries, is an edible mushroom known for its medicinal value. This study evaluated the optimum culture media, grain spawn and substrate formulation for the cultivation of G. lucidum. The use of different low-cost culture media, grains and substrate formulations in the preparation of pure cultures, grain spawn bags and fruiting bags of G. lucidum were tested. The largest mycelial diameter was observed in Potato Sucrose Agar (93.45mm) which was significantly higher among all the treatments used. It has very thick mycelial density. Cracked corn as spawning material had the shortest incubation period of 14 days, which showed significant difference compared to sorghum seeds and barley grains. The use of cracked corn also incurred the lowest cost and highest return of investment in grain spawn bag production. For fruiting bag production, substrate combination of 50% sawdust and 30% rice straw supplemented with 20% rice bran was the best formulation for fruiting bag production of G. lucidum which had the highest yield with a mean value of 91.30g and biological efficiency of 20.29%.
Introduction
Mushrooms are considered ultimate healthy food and dietary supplements. They contain proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, saturated fatty acids, phenolic compounds, tocopherols, ascorbic acid and carotenoids (Ho et al., 2020). Thus, mushrooms can be used directly in the diet and promote health, taking advantage of both the additive and synergistic effects of all bioactive compounds present in it (Reis et al., 2011).
The cultivation of edible mushrooms could become a way to augment farm income while making use of crop-based residues. The growth of a variety of mushrooms requires different type of substrates and availability of different type of materials. Substrates such as logs, wood sawdust, rice straw and hull, banana leaves, maize stalk, and various grasses can all support mushroom growth (Philippoussis, 2009). In some parts of the Philippines, these substrates may not be available or are available at relatively high prices. Thus, mushroom growers are continuously searching for alternative substrates that may be more readily available or cost effective, or that may provide higher yield and better mushroom quality (Royse D et al., 2004).
Ganoderma lucidum (Curtis) P. Karst is a tropical, edible mushroom that is commonly known as “Reishi” in Japanese and “Lingzhi” in Chinese (Yang and Liau, 1998; Wagner et al., 2003). World-wide, Lingzhi occupies a major source of medicine that has been used for more than 2000 years (Azizi et al., 2012). Commercial G. lucidum products are available in various forms, such as powders, dietary supplements, and tea which are obtained from different parts of the mushroom, including mycelia, spores, and fruiting body (Wachtel-Galor et al., 2011). To meet the gradually increasing demand for G. lucidum as a natural medicine, commercial cultivation of this mushroom has been initiated worldwide, especially in the tropical Asian countries (Chang and Buswell, 2008). As different members of the Ganoderma genus seek different conditions for growth and cultivation, and the traditional cultivation technique takes several months for fruiting body development, artificial cultivation of G. lucidum has been implemented using the available substrates such as grain, sawdust, wood logs and cork residues (Boh et al., 2007). Several substrates have been investigated worldwide for the cultivation of G. lucidum (Tiwari et al., 2004).
With the need to cultivate G. lucidum using lowcost inputs and locally available materials, this project envisioned to determine the best culture media, grain and substrate in terms of biological and cost efficiency. Discovering the best culture media, grain and substrate for G. lucidum may lead to the development of mushroom production technologies that may increase yield, and in effect further increase farmers’ income.

Vegan & Non-GMO
Supplements based on plants like Plant Protein and Super Greens, Mushrooms, and Herbs Blend are less likely to trigger allergies or adverse effects because they come from natural resources. Additionally, there are no artificial sweeteners, GMOs, preservatives, synthetic chemicals, or other additives in plant-based or vegan supplements. This certifies that using Rooted Actives health supplements is safe.
No Fillers
Fillers are frequently included to make vitamins and health supplements easier to handle and produce. Fillers can attach to the active substances in health supplements, reducing the body’s ability to absorb such nutrients. Furthermore, some fillers may have adverse side effects like headaches, upset stomachs, and allergic reactions. Don’t worry! Our health supplements are free from fillers to make your nutrition count and make you strong from the inside.
Conclusion
Rooted Actives consider more than those factors since the preparation and combination techniques also affect a health supplement’s potency and quality. We employ conventional preparation techniques, including water- or alcohol-based extraction and traditional component combinations, to increase the bioavailability and absorption of nutrients and enable people to get significant health supplement benefits. Our health supplements, like Ashwagandha Extract, Plant-Based Collagen, Organic Lion’s Mane Mushroom Liquid Extract, and Oyster Mushroom Extract Powder, among others, are nutrient-dense and super effective since we add nothing artificial or manufactured.
