So, another story from the Pikmin games from when I was bad and also a child. SO I got the bad end of Pikmin first. Not joking, I was that bad at the game. It scared me so bad that I reset the entire file and got the good ending.

I also cried. Not at the credits, no, but instead it was because I almost messed up the Emperor Bulblax fight. You know how the health of la creature resets everyday? Yeah. That. I did defeat the boss though, and my remaining 3 Reds, 46 Yellows, and like 5 Blues carried back the safe. (Probably more reds and blues, this is just based off of my memory lol)

Remembering Garry Mod server which was just an absurdly long hallway where you were forced to walk to the end. There was cosmetics and a timer for how long you took. The weird thing was that they bound the menu button you use to disconnect to an ad overlay - so you couldn’t just disconnect from the server. Getting to the end was the only way to legitimately get off. Though of course you could probably use the console and I just didn’t think of that.

I just force closed Garry’s Mod and blacklisted the server. Wasn’t THAT desperate for time sinks.

I think nothing really speaks to Neil's complex character the way Nora's answer to someone asking what's Neil's favorite memories are in the EC does where she said that both coming home from a run to find Andrew napping with their cats and Riko being shot in the head are some of his top favorites.

listen there really was just something about how in the book, snow’s 3-page descent from hesitant lover boy to deluded mfer happens entirely in his mind. lucy gray gives him no indication whatsoever that she suspects him, that she’s going to leave or betray him. he’s just sitting quietly in the cabin waiting for her to return when that seed of calculated suspicion, which he has needed to survive the capitol, takes a hold of him and chokes the life out of any goodness left inside him. it really drives home your terror as a reader that “oh my god did he kill her? did she escape? what happened to her? why would he even think that?” in a way that when the movie had to adjust for visualization it lost some of that holy shit this guy has lost it emphasis.
