see, ppl can say what they want about the resi 3 remake, but the remake got Mikhail perfect. Also i actually really love weird Puppy Nemesis lmao
#GET OFF OF HIS TRAIN SHITBIRD#ilu grandpa you did your best#I think the remake is fine#there's parts of the original I miss a ton#and parts I am glad are gone#mostly I'm just confused by the rose colored glasses everyone remembers wrt a nemesis that doesn't exist#he was never a random stalker he always had scripted spawns and due to the ps1 limitations the “random” was down to two or three options#with that said re3 remake coming off the heels of re7 with pretty good stalkers like jack and margeurite#and then directly off the heels of re2 with one of the best programmed game stalkers i've ever seen#he's a letdown for sure#I loved the pre-release rumors saying nemesis would chase you into safe rooms#that should have been a real thing#Oh wow is it really time for our regularly scheduled resident evil obsessing??#I wanted to name Nikolai after Mikhail but mercury spatted me with a newspaper and told me I had too many M names#I have had this fondness for hero grandpa for a long time okay#anyway I know that absolutely no one follows me for resident evil so lmao ignore my rambling#it's fine though#because no matter if you follow me for solivaga or homestuck :)#I've fed you resident evil no matter what#what do you mean parts of the harley manor are inspired by the spencer mansion!?#HAHA GOT'EM#what do you mean there's a ton of resident evil refs in soli#RAT STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#👉👈 it's an honor m'lord#i mean that + the fact that i make sure to always feed him the Most open-minded takes i can incorporate in conversation#like just today he was like ''i wanted to ask you about this i saw there were women growing beards and deciding to keep them''#and i was like. yeah that's a thing ! good for them ! if they're happy that way it's all good !#and he was like ''isn't it kinda weird though like they're really feminine but they have a beard which is usually masculine?''#and i was like hmm! not really ! it's just not something we're used to seeing so it can seem odd at first but it's harmless!#and he went Yeah you're right maybe it just seemed weird to me because it's unusual#and i like mentally went 😎🤏 got'em. teaching this guy to be okay with other people one topic at a timeeeee#in any case it's just. really cool to know that like... i'm indirectly helping other trans folks ?#at the same time i want to make sure he understands that My personal experience with being trans isn't universal#it's not ''This is how you trans'' like. what's working for me rn may not work for someone else and it's fine#so i always make sure to throw in little reminders that every trans person will want different things for themselves#some will need medical transitions some Won't some will need ''all'' surgeries some Won't some will need them done quickly some Won't#some will feel This way about their egg selves some will feel That way about their egg selves etc#simultaneously Yes please do use your experience working with me to work with other trans people#but No please don't think they are all going to be like me or should do things the way i did them

you had maybe 3 lines but you will forever own my heart. you play a very minor role, one often forgotten about (not by me tho bby, i'll love you forever). however, your significance in the story is pretty big. something about you propels the story forward in a way no one else can do. you tend to blend into the background, and you probably like it that way. you want a simple life, free from the drama of the main characters. unfortunately, your story is almost always cut short. your role is usually a death that kickstarts the plot. going unnoticed did not save you, but it probably did bring you some peace of mind.
