Favorite Album

So my current favorite album has got to be OUATIS because it has an overall great vibe with the music itself, it has Nastya present in the story, what more could you ask for? And also it has that SoundCloud live version with alternate roles and that absolutely fucks

But that’s my all time favorite, that’s always my favorite and probably (?) always will be, so I’m also going to give honorable mention to HNOC, its most certainly a love hate relationship depending on the day, but at the moment I’m loving it. It features some of my absolute favorite voices (Raph and Ashes), features a lot of Ivy on trumpet, has a fun little vibe, a solid story, and a tube sun! A lot of the songs from that album right now are favorites, so we take it

Favorite Mechanism

Okay so this one is always really hard, so I’m just going to do my top three in no particular order except that’s really hard as well but okay

So we have Ivy, she’s such an interesting character, her fiction makes me quite sad but also very intrigued you know? She also just has such style, in in love with the academic type style it’s lovely, and on the topic of academics she’s a bookworm and archivist!! (And Morgan himself I believe is a reader which is awesome). Her lines in the shows are always my favorite spoken bits too, especially Saturday DTTM “and now, unless you want us to sing…” *crowd screams yes* “see we like these ones”

Then Nastya, she’s definitely a character of all time. I agree with Kofi when they said that Nastya is probably the most developed character, I love it. Cyberian Demons is such an incredible song set on its own as well, and her backstory puts me in such pain. The “they were never meant to start a fight” goes so hard with the way she said it idk I mean this probably relates to her actor better but still. She’s like a tired older sister/carer role person in Lashings and it’s an absolute mood. She’s also very pretty

Ough who do I put here, do I put TS for its absolute wonderful madness, do I put Raphaella for her voice and her outfit and her WINGS, do I put Tim for his raw anger and energy (and goofy vibes), do I put Ashes for being both badass and terrifying, do I put Marius for his silly, larger than life personality and hidden sorrow, do I put Brian for his drum, banjo, everyotherinstrumentheplays skills and compelling backstory, do I put Jonny for… Jonny reasons, WHO DO I PUT?

Gotta be either Gender Rebels, Lashings, Revenge of Port Mahon, that one SoundCloud one I forget the name, or Saturday DTTM shit that’s a lot more than one uh

At the moment I’d say it’s Gender Rebels for the pure chaos that comes with Tim being the narrator (nastya punching Tim away from the mic is dear in my heart as well)

I think I just like the shows where the crew has to make do without Jonny because a few days ago my favorite was certainly lashings, probably because of the absolutely wonderful song lineup (rocket girl <333), the presence of Carmilla, the fact that Jessica was making up most of TS on the spot or the night before (TS used to have a wind up key!), and Nastya and Ivy focus of course

But yeah all of them are peak I have watched and listened many times

OUAT(IS) - I absolutely love the whole album, I was going to say I love the second half but I think I just don’t like once/old king Cole as much as the others, but yeah the “second half” is peak, I think my favorite is either The Aurora Strikes (yes, the spoken track, it was the first one I memorized okay) Sleeping Beauty, or No Happy Ending, the vibes are immaculate and both of them just hit so hard, make me feel like fighting God

UDAD - This is a tie between Ties that Bind and Underworld Blues, because Ties is a Raph song and it’s just a lot of fun I really adore the rhythm of the chorus, and because Underworld Blues is such a SONG like HOLY SHIT they all get some singing time and it rocksssssss. Wait actually I forgot about Torn Suits them all singing over each other is absolutely fire never mind paragraph cancelled I love Torn Suits that’s it

HNOC - this may be the hardest one actually, picking my favorite out of Empty Trail, Hellfire, Blood and Whiskey, Skin and Bone, and Holder of the GRAIL feels impossible, I’m going to say Holder of the GRAIL is my favorite at the moment though because the captain is literally just a little guy it’s adorable and so sad :(((

TBI - fuuuuck uh okay we’re splitting this up into two, first half I gotta say Losing Track, hearing them all sing together and Odin go “mah train :3” as they’re all being so serious will never not slap, but also Loki and Sigyn and Red Signal and Expert Testimony exist but we’re saying Losing Track, and second half is definitely Ragnarok II The Calling because of “COSMIC MADNESS REIGNS” as well as the Tim/Raph overlapping singing it’s incredible

You flinch audibly as the door creaks open. You can’t shout out in fear. You can only whimper as the large metallic door creaks open to reveal the deranged monster that’s come to do his way with you one more time. You’d lost count of the assaults you suffered. You’d lost count of the number of creatures who had tortured you. There wasn’t a second of your consciousness that you weren’t praying to whatever deity rested above to give you a break from this hell.

But as the door banged against the wall behind it, there stood a man wearing a white collared shirt with matching pants and shoes. God? You thought as the man crept closer to you, his stare never wavering from your beaten and bloodied body.

“Y/N,” the man smiled softly as he approached your bed, palms resting along the guard rail that surrounded your bed. “We were beginning to think you’d never wake up, darling.” His voice sweet like sugar. It sent a chill up your spine.

“Hmm?” You hummed in a muffled frantic tone, your eyes growing wide in fear as the man walked around your bed to your window. He tugged at the string, allowing streams of sunlight to flow into the dark room. “Mmm mmm mm?” You struggled to speak as the man approached you again, his eyes full of tenderness. But you didn’t buy it. The creatures were after you! He had to be one of them!

“You fell into a coma twelve years ago.” His tone remained calm and civil. “Your parents had given up hope that you’d ever wake up after you were attacked. How are you feeling? You can speak, don’t be afraid; I came to check on you. You were thrashing around in your bed again. I can see why this is upsetting.”

“Huh?” You blinked and shook your head slightly, fully aware of the softness of the pillow beneath your head. The soft linens underneath your body suddenly felt warm. “Mm?”

“Take time to adjust,” The sudden reality of the heart monitor to your left caught your attention. You looked down at your body and started clawing at yourself before the man gently took your hands and placed them beside you on the bed. “You went on a camping trip twelve years ago with your parents. The campsite was attacked by a family of bears. You were mauled horribly before they could get you away safely. You lost a lot of blood and your organs went into shock. The men who rescued you wanted to put you out of your misery; your parents forbid it.”

You breathed in deeply as you noticed that you were safe. You weren’t in danger. Your life wasn’t in danger. You weren't being attacked by demons or monsters. You were in a hospital room. The sun was shining brightly through the window and the nice man standing beside you felt like warmth. “Your parents donated thousands of dollars to keep you alive. Do you want to speak to them or do you need to eat first? Do you need time to adjust? Tell me what you need.”

“Rest,” you mumbled, barely recognizing your own voice. “Tell me who you are.”

“ Doctor Jefferson Hatter,” he smiled, showing you his medical tag. “You don’t look a day older than myself. I’m glad I came to see you finally awake and talking. There have been false alarm throughout the years, however, this one is as true as day.”

Subject: wondering if I have OSDD

hi, I recently learned about OSDD and think that I could have it. I would talk to a therapist, but as of now I can’t afford one. I have always strongly believed I had a dissociative disorder (more specifically Depersonalization/derealization disorder) until I happened to learn about OSDD. what caught my attention specifically was the ability to have fictional alters. since I was a kid, I have imagined fictional characters talking to me, comforting me, supporting me etc.

I always thought it was strange bc it would happen when I would be stressed out and then bam a character would be talking to me. for example, (and god I feel so embarrassed saying this but I’m trying to be honest) when I was really bad at self harming as a kid I would imagine markiplier telling me not to (I know mark isn’t a fictional character but he’s the only real life person who has done this). he would be comforting me and saying nice things, and I would calm down bc of this and not self harm. when I start thinking about my past trauma sometimes a character will soothe me. even as an adult now (20) when me and my partner argue, occasionally a character will be there talking to me and comforting me afterwards.

over the years it’s been different people but I just thought that my mind would “project” a character that I like/relate to in order to protect me and help me feel better. I was very neglected as a child and grew up in a terrible environment and have been through A LOT of trauma to put it simply. I never had anyone to take care of/protect me when I was a kid, so I figured my brain just temporarily gave me a parent/friend/whatever.

as far as I can remember (and I know I’m forgetting people) this has happened with rumpelstiltskin from ouat, joker from the dark knight for a LONG time (I know lol please kill me) mike from tdi, dexter for a LON G T IME, markiplier, tyler joseph?, riddler and penguin when the show Gotham first came out, and riddler and penguin now bc I started rewatching it

yes it is very embarrassing for me to say that I would “project” fictional serial killers and sadistic maniacs in order to help me survive childhood. however, I have always related to these characters bc typically they have the worst childhoods or are treated terribly and I can strongly relate to them bc of that. I also believe that since they are malicious/intelligent my brain views them as worthy protectors of me? I’m not sure and I prefer not thinking about it lmao.

these characters have helped me through a lot of daily stress and trauma. although, as far as I know, they don’t take control of me or make my body do things, or talk to me (I can’t tell if they are talking to me or if I’m “role playing” with myself as comfort). I constantly dissociate 24/7 though, and I don’t even notice until I “come back?” a past therapist has validated my dissociation, so I do know that it is what I am experiencing. she also said that I have too much trauma for my brain to process so that’s why I dissociate so often, but our talks on dissociation never went further than that due to more harmful things we had to discuss.

I’m not sure if this matters at all, but I have been diagnosed with gender dysphoria (trans guy), GAD, and depression. I suspected that I had more, but our sessions had to end bc she moved. also, I’m very sorry if I am just projecting these characters into my mind to protect myself and they actually aren’t alters of myself at all. I would hate to be offensive in any way.

they show up seemingly randomly when I’m stressed out, and don’t appear every time I’m upset. They show up rarely as far as I know. I’m also an age regressor (little) due to trauma, if that adds anything to the topic. I’m really confused about the characters and can’t tell if they’re a coping mechanism or full on OSDD. I’ve also seen people say fictive alters don’t exist or that having only fictive alters makes you a faker. I’m obviously not educated enough about OSDD to understand, but again if I am offensive in anyway I am deeply sorry and am just trying to learn about myself. (also so sorry for this being long but I felt like I needed to describe my situation)

I know you aren’t a therapist, and you don’t have to respond if you don’t want to.

So I’m going to preface this with: I am not a therapist/psychologist and cannot diagnose anyone. Please take my words with a grain of salt and see a psych when you can. That said, I’ll gladly give my opinion here.

I’m attempting to break this down paragraph-by-paragraph to make organizing our own thoughts easier.

They come up to protect you in times of stress or during s/h. This tells me you might have protectors/caretakers (indicative of trauma but you already know of your own)

The “projection” you talk about sounds like classic introjection; your mind relates to them and believes you and your system would benefit from it, and inserts them into the system. This is especially true since you’ve experienced trauma

This is just a slight aside but “I can’t tell if they’re talking to me or if I’m ‘role playing’ with myself for comfort,” constant dissociation, not noticing until you “come back,” all of these sound like signs of monoconsciousness (which is common with OSDD!) As for them not really taking control, there’s a clause in the diagnostic criteria for Partial Dissociative Identity Disorder (P-DID) in the ICD-11 that says the host might instead be “intruded upon by one or more non-dominant personality states in daily life (dissociative intrusions).”

With that last bit being said, if you experience the above but don’t experience two or more personality states with discontinuities of the self and agency, you most likely don’t have OSDD.

When it comes to alters, they’re not always clearly alters “of you,” if that makes sense. Sometimes (like in OSDD-1b and DID) they’re entirely different people (including introjects!). Alters aren’t always different versions of each other like in OSDD-1a (and iirc 1a is a more rare presentation but I could be wrong), so I think you might just misunderstand what alters are a little (and that’s okay! You’re learning)

You might not be a system and might be using these characters to cope, but that’s okay too! There is literally nothing wrong with that, but it might mean that you’re not necessarily a system (or at least not a disordered one). Introject-heavy systems only make sense because these disorders typically develop in childhood and children tend to use media (especially fictional) to escape from and cope with traumatic situations. Personally, I think anyone who fakeclaims introject-heavy systems is just uneducated.

TLDR; in my honest opinion, I think it’s possible that you have OSDD-1, but you were unclear as to whether they front (it IS possible to just not notice). However, considering they talk to you (even if it feels like roleplaying) and talk you out of harming yourself, and these interactions are involuntary, these sound like the aforementioned dissociative intrusions. They don’t need to fully front, persay, given the wording of the ICD-11.

Again, please take these opinions with a grain of salt. Also, nothing you’re doing is offensive, you’re just talking about your personal experiences here. All of this is completely okay.

I used to on ff.net because I liked the reply method there, and I didn’t really continue doing that when I went to AO3. I just started trying to remember to on my multichap fic just to show I appreciate the comments but I usually see the email notification and then get sidetracked and forget aha

I’m also terrible with leaving comments but tbf I followed some writers’ twitters back in the day and saw them talking smack about reviews I had left (which were nice reviews, I just was like ��oh this song reminds me of (x) I’m so glad to see it in a fic” like nothing mean) and then I was like oh people don’t like when you say more than “good job” and I got like frightened of leaving reviews after, which is stupid because I love getting them so I know that writers enjoy them, but that moment really stuck with me

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

mmmm I wrote a fic once where I killed Henry (OUAT), and then I’ve definitely written some post-Jenny death for NCIS/Jibbs fics so probably one of those

any of the others I thrive on happy endings tbh I love throwing out happy endings everywhere I go

god I wrote one way back in my like 13-year-old days that was technically a crossover for Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis (even tho they take place in the same universe anyway) that was just pure crack and was an excuse for me to pretend the characters had the same mentality as my 13-year-old self

oh yeah, I think the first review I ever got on a fanfic was hate. happy to say that I continued on anyway and kept writing at least! 

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

sure do write some smutty smut - uhhhh most any kind I suppose? I’ll write them regardless of gender(s), and always fully consensual, nothing ever too crazy I would say, just because I still am not sure of my own writing skills with it but maybe one day Hayffie will drive me there

I have a long “100 ways to love you” fic for SQ/OUAT that I was writing in college and I felt so good about it and I have it all planned and it’s over halfway done, but I don’t know if I have the strength to enter back into the fandom ehe

What’s your writing strengths?

planning out modern AUs, I love them so much, I love any AU, could go crazy for them

What’s your writing weaknesses?

I sometimes make things too dialogue-heavy, and then I get concerned I’m repeating a lot of phrases (recently it’s been if I’m having certain actions be repeated too much like “sighed”) 

I’m not a big fan of writing action/fighting scenes, but I go overboard with researching to make sure I’m writing them out the right way 

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in fic?

I think it’s awesome to see characters speaking other languages because speaking multiple languages in general is awesome to me (especially since I grew up in the good ol’ USA and they taught us nothing growing up until I took French as an elective in high school and Spanish in college). I will always use google translate to get the vibe of what is being said, but I know it doesn’t always work correctly, either, so I know I try my best to get it correct before putting any other language in my fic

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Stargate SG-1 at a whopping 12 years old probably (if not earlier)

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

You know I’m really proud of the Stargate/THG AU through the circle (fast and slow), like it’s not a combination of fandoms that most people would like fully understand I suppose, but it was so fun to write and I just had a blast going through it and thinking of different scenarios that echoed what happened in Stargate. I actually wrote a long post about it at one point but it was also one of the first times just feeling really good in general while writing and not feeling like i was writing for others only, but also for myself

How's it's going: Generally I love it.  Tumblr is the place where I feel free to be myself, and despite the ship wars and fandom drama, I always end up gravitating back here.  It’s also helped me meet a bunch of awesome people and gotten me writing again!

Once Upon A Time Rewatch: 4x07 The Snow Queen

I just moved house yesterday and I am STRESSED! It’s so dirty here. It’s a person with ocd (like myself’s) worst nightmare. Gaaah! Also my wisdom teeth are still coming through and it hurtssss! I am on the verge of sensory overload and I am having the day from hell. Hopefully this rewatch will make it better. Okay I’ll calm down now.

Also I live right next to a freaking grand church now which is a fun reminder of religious trauma but oh well at least it kinda reminds me of Hogwarts. I’m basically Hagrid now.

I just started reading the OUAT book ‘Henry and Violet’. It’s okay this far. I wish there was more of Henry’s family in it. Also did I tell y’all I started reading Percy Jackson for the first time? Well, listening to the audiobook. I’m on the Titan’s Curse and I’m enjoying the series so far! I’m determined to read all books set in that universe.

OUAT casting department strikes again with casting the young versions of Ingrid and her sisters. Who did they sell their souls to??

Robin, dude, lisssssten, you have to save Marian! She is the mother of your child! Think of the hobbit child! Okay, I know it’s not Marian but the fact remains that he thought it was! 

Disney Princess Mummy and Me club!! I love it! Such a good idea! And I wanna know what happened to those baby’s when they grew up! Did Phillip Jr. and Alexandra grow up friends with Robin and Neal? I like to think so!

Aurora: “I dare not touch that devil box. I won’t make that mistake twice.” Haha! Do people in the EF believe in the devil??

Oh man, I think Emma’s a bit jealous of her brother. That is honestly beyond understandable! It’s also understandable that Snow would want to give him everything after all they’ve been through. This is a tricky situation.

Oh yeah, wasn’t this when they forgot Ashley’s baby was a girl? Oh well. Break those gender stereotypes, girl! If Ashley wants to dress her kid in traditionally masculine attire she sure as hell can! I liked to wear ‘boy’s clothes’ as a kid.

Wow. That must have hurt Emma for Snow to pull away when she wanted to hold her brother but, I mean, to be fair Emma had just boiled a bottle of milk. Snow didn’t want a cooked baby is all!

Whoa, Ingrid! You could have taken out Emma’s eye with that ice spike!! I guess she purposefully missed.

That Frozen Swan hug is everything! I love it when Emma shows enough trust in someone to be affectionate with them <3. I ship!

Her sisters were so supportive, especially Helga. She was really their rock and Ingrid just wanted the best for them.

If Ingrid wants them to be her sisters, why does she keep physically hurting Emma?

Ingrid is very intuitive. She likes to play with people psychologically and she uses her insight to predict how they’ll react. I would have liked to see even more of her and for her to have had connections to more of the heroes that she might have stolen memories from. I’d have loved to have seen her mess with Snow and David and Regina on a psychological level. 

Henry: “You’re tearing through the book with your scary face on.” My mum has a scary face she does when she’s angry. It’s terrifying. When you see it, you know it’s time to freaking run for the hills!

Her family spans 400 years? How so? If Killian is 200 something years old Rumple is not much older. Unless Emma means her, like, royal heritage on her mum’s side or something.

Jesus! I am crying at the Ingrid trying to run away scene. Oh my God. It hurtsssss! They just want her to be happy D,:!! 

And Helga is so freaking supportive! Such a good, loving sister. She deserved better!!

Gerda’s Irish accent has gone lol. Am I losing it, or did anyone else notice her Irish accent in 4x01??! The actress is Canadian so it must have been a deliberate choice.

Killian, about the mirror: “This is what we’ve been worried about? Shouldn’t it be shaking or doing something evil.” That would’ve been cool!

What happened to Anastasia?!

Hang on a minute. That’s wrong. From that day forward (the day he met Marian) Robin didn’t only steal from the rich and give to the poor. We see in ‘Heart if Gold’ that he had already been in a relationship with Marian before he declared that that’s what he would be doing in the future.

If he went through all that with Marian why can’t he be compassionate enough to try to save her life? 

Oh! Rumple was gonna give Ingrid magic lessons! That would have been cool! She might have learnt to control her abilities but then, I have to ask, what would be in it for him?

Rumple: “Love is free but all magic comes with a price.” Of course! He must be hinting at the fact that love is the way to control her abilities. If only he’d told her that.

Don’t give up your ribbons!! It’s so special that they wore them all those years!

‘Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree. It’s been three long years. Do you still want me?’ I only know that song through the S Club series but boy does it get stuck in my head!

How does Ingrid know if Neal was born normal? I mean, wasn’t there flashing lights when he was born? I guess that could have been Zelena. I like to think that he does have magic. I don’t understand why every child born of true love wouldn’t have it? I guess Phillip Jr. would have it too! And maybe even Alexandra!

That scene with Ingrid pushing Emma and her blowing a hole through a wall is so cool! I love it when a character loses control of their powers!

David! Oh no!

Snow didn’t mean to snap at Emma. She was just having one of those days :(. She instantly regretted it. She loves Emma. Both her parents do.

Poor Emma. Elsa wanted to help her too!

Was the price of using that memory magic that she would have a daughter with cryokinesis & frigokineses?

What are your thoughts on (ignoring the comics) Melinda being born a mortal? Or a witch without any active or inactive powers (like just being able to basic witch stuff). As like a consequence of Wyatt being super OP.

i’m personally not too keen on it for two reasons: a) melinda is the first daughter of the next gen and to have her be completely screwed over by and older / power powerful man,,,,,,,,,,,, muffy sis the optics and then b) wyatt being so incredibly power wasn’t really like Directly caused by anything in the show y’know???

like if you wanna go ouat all magic has a price melinda has no powers because wyatt has too many, then wyatt’s powers have to be a conscious choice. like at some point, piper or leo or you know some faction of the immediate family (Elders Are NOT Invited) had to have made the deliberate decision to supercharge wyatt’s abilities, and melinda receiving no powers is the unforeseen consequence of that decision (and then ideally both wyatt and melinda are the same gender to avoid some definitely ill thought out commentary on gender politics). if that were to be the case, i think it would be a very interesting move for not only the familial dynamics of the next gen but also the charmed ones and their choices directly impacting the lives of their kids in negative fashions they couldn’t even dream of. but as the canon stands, i don’t think that move would make any sense as wyatt being basically a god was no one person/being’s decision

happy sts! what captivates you most about peter pan? what about it makes you like writing about it? and (bonus question) what's your favourite adaption of the original story?

there’s a few things that captivate me about peter pan, and i think they each tie into why i love to write about it.

1. the growing up themes, and that desire to escape, and how wendy still finds herself embroiled in gender roles even in neverland (she’s the mother, she doesn’t get to go on adventures, she has to darn their socks). it is so easily translated for today’s audience–i think that’s why there are a lot of YA adaptations of pp. 

“you need not be sorry for her. she was one of the kind that likes to grow up. in the end she grew up of her own free will a day quicker than the other girls.”

something inside her was crying, “woman, woman, let go of me.”

she was not a little girl heart-broken about him; she was a grown woman smiling at it all, but they were wet-eyed smiles.

LIKE?  ohhhhhh my god. oh my god. OH MY GOD.

2. the cyclical nature of the tale. wendy isn’t the first or the last. peter forgets her, and hook, and tinkerbell so easily. nothing changes for him.

3. bittersweet ending. it’s my firm belief that the best peter pan retellings end unhappily for darlingpan, though they may end it happily apart. (spoilers for til morning, folks!)

4. WENDY IS THE PROTAGONIST. i don’t give a goddamn shit if it’s called peter pan. peter is static, and he’s more of a villain, anyway; hook wasn’t introduced to the story until later, largely as an on-stage distraction while scenery changes took place. 

(and messing around with points 2-4 are fun to write, and make the most interesting retellings: swapping the roles so peter is the villain and hook is a hero – or so that wendy is the eternal youth, and peter is her pursuer a la hook – or perhaps wendy has followed in hook’s footsteps?)

and! my favourite adaption? oof. deep breath… PETER PAN (2003) DIR. PJ HOGAN STARRING RACHEL HURD-WOOD AND JEREMY SUMPTER.

hook tries to poison the lost boys with a cake he just. LEAVES. in the forest. but wendy doesn’t let the LB eat it bc it’ll be stale–and then hook himself trips on the stale cake in the dark.

Since my life got super boring lately, too much free time, I decided to binge watch season 7 I had been avoiding like the plague, to see what went down and just finish the series. So I’m gonna talk a little about it and rant and, whatever, share some thoughts from this final season. 

Right now I’m on episode 13 and so far what I think is this is the most boring storyline. Even worse than the Underworld in that sense, y’all! It’s also MORE confusing. They’re all over the place with plot holes and how they continue to change their own magic rules and spells. (shock!) And at times I get mixed as to which person is the original character or their parallel version from another dimension (wish realm and shit). So, thank you writers for making lousy fanfic of your already lousy fanfic. (eyeroll)

Let me start off by taking this out of my chest: I can’t for the life of me stand Cinderella’s 2.0 bland personality! GOD she’s SO tiresome. UGH! At least they got a cool Tiana to make watching this boring little plot, somewhat bearable. I mean? Ashley made a more entertaining Cinderella twist, but this one I just can’t dig. Even when they give her scenes kicking butt, I just don’t believe in her as a “strong character”. Hmn... I feel like the actor casting was off there, she doesn’t give out a vibe of strength, it seems forced by the writing. 

Anyway...

Lucy kid is great, no complains there. Her role is as expected to be from a gender-bent Henry, pretty much.

Adult Henry is ok, the same ol’ yawn. He was more entertaining as a spoiled brat who was always getting into trouble. Kinda wish he would have written himself a better personality, but since they pretty much had Henry say he represents KitsoWitz, what can you expect? (lol)

So, Roni... Oh, dear! I want to like you, Roni, but I just can’t. I need Regina Mills, Madam Mayor, sensible pantsuit and sass! This curse really played you a bad one, Madam Mills. This would’ve been a perfect character for Emma to play instead but not for Regina to embody. And they also dare bring up a new/old boyfriend? Really? They have no imagination and too big an ego to get feedback on their dumb ideas. NOPE!  Can’t blame the actors who were wise enough to flee this bullshit, but I do wonder if they would have given Emma the sensible pants suit and posh personality in this curse? I think that I would have liked seeing. It would’ve been the closest thing to a reverse role in their dynamic. Heh. Guess we’ll only know through fanfic now. Fix it, SWEN!

Zelena! I can’t believe I would say this but she was actually a breath of fresh air in here. She made it feel more OUaTy and less whatever the hell it is. Even Rumple is letting me down with his Weaver persona and the guardian thing... BUT I was happy to see his life with Belle! That actually made me cry and feel happy for this one ship that has surpassed it all. They deserved a happy life together and we got to see it. That was the fuzziest episode! Be still my heart!

Now, Gothel... Meh. She’s a weirdo and I don’t like the actor choice either. It would have been more interesting if they’d made a Maleficent 2.0 into “Gothel” because in her search for Lily she’s taking in all these disturbed girls under her wing. (pun intended :P) Rapunzel could also been Aurora 2.0, and Alice be Lily and have this other story solved. Remember she was looking for her father? And it made more sense than bringing in Rapunzel. But again... this requires more brain than what these lucky bastards have. 

Nook and Alice were a very odd addition but I actually like their relationship. Once more these shitty writers pulled out their cringe-worthy sexual coercion and insta-baby plot. I guess in their mind it’s a dark fantasy they want to live out, since it’s their hobby to have evil witches trick horny men to impregnate them for shits and giggles. I do wonder if they didn’t get Regina pregnant from Graham, only because they had already made her “barren” and back then they cared a tiny bit more about continuity-- both because she was infertile and for the curse that had stopped time... SIGH. I am all out of fucks to give, why bother putting any thought to it? They simply suck.

I shipped Dark Hook with Zelena and I also ship Wicked Nook. I think they suit each other and I like the pairing, besides, their spawns are in love so why not move in together as a big family? They all need a sense of that quaint Charm. :p

Which brings me to this lesbian ship... 

Where the hell did this even come from? #SilencetheGays again, huh? You know the only gays that would have mattered, were the ones you fucking assholes avoided bringing together, so THANK YOU but NO THANK YOU!
