god people are so unforgiving about s1 arthur being.. the way he is (an arrogant bully). he is just soooooo important to me arrogance and all!! bc this is arthur without merlin to change the fundamental structure of his life yk? to show him that yes he is being an ass but it’s okay there’s a pure heart under that bravado and it’s because he grew up so lonely and without affection that he’s like this. my heart ALWAYS goes out for him every time i rewatch. he struggles to form friendships, he’s awkward and doesn’t know how to show affection unless it’s a punch to the arm and GOD HE’S LEARNING HOW TO LOVE LIKE HE WANTS TO AND I AM SO VERY !!!!!!!!!!!!!
