As for the puzzle :), the whole ARG is complete, venture in agents just remember not too overthink it. I wanted to make something special for such a wonderful community, as a little dedication to the agent and puzzle enthusiasts.🧩 It isn't fully IEYTD related but for those who like Polyblank and Johnny Stardust, I think you might wanna check this out. I hope this isn't too much for y'all or inconsiderate but I love OC interactions and wanted to make my attacks and revenges something special this time around, per usual of every year I participate in Artfight. Again I had so much joy creating these and hope I can doodle more little character interactions again , those are my favorites to draw 💚

Absolutely the funniest thing about my current corner of tumblr is that pretty much everyone I've recently followed for Apollo-Appreciating Purposes are either genuinely Hellenist or just rather very into Rick Riordan's Trials of Apollo series which is wild because I know a net zero about both of those things.

#I've never been interested in Riordan's work and the Percy Jackson books I did read as a young lad didn't change my mind on that topic #Growing up I preferred a very one or the other method for my greek adaptational content #which essentially means either you're a play or an adaptation of a legit story or myth with recogniseable figures and plotpoints #or you're an original story with mythical elements but the myths and the adaptations and interpretations of those myths is secondary #Percy Jackson did both and it was very disorienting for me because the books were well grounded enough that when I came into contact #with some element I didn't recognise or couldn't remember I myself would get confused and go “Is that true? like really?? :0c”#Then I ran a library book club and Percy Jackson books were p much all the kids wanted to read #but they rejected all of my supplementary greek myth exercises and got a lot of stuff mixed around #because percy jackson does a rather good job of making a convincing argument that it knows its stuff and people will quicker cite that #than do readings of the much more difficult older texts and translations of text #It's not Percy Jackson's fault it's just a bad experience that stuck with me and by extension leaked over into Trials of Apollo when that #was released #Trials of Apollo was crazy because I generally make it my business to consume any and all greek myth interpretational media that bothers #to include Apollo (there is a shockingly low amount of things that do that)#however a LOT of novels especially never let Apollo retain the dignity of a god in their portrayals of him #and have him resemble a teenager more than anything even remotely close to an adult #I had just gotten finished reading a novel adaptation of the story of Coronis and Apollo with this same issue #so when I opened the first volume of ToA and saw that Apollo simply genuinely WAS a teenager #Frankly I just closed the book and put it back on the bookstore shelf and very calmly walked away LMFAO #I have nothing to say about Hellenists and neo hellenists y'all seem like wonderful people and I hope #you have a lovely time with your e-offerings and worship #unless you are my single personal friend with Apollo as your patron #then I wish you 1000 woes and 10000 divine brain blasts #toa #pjo #ginger rambles

Honestly could we throw out the idea that totk's story issue is that it isn't consistent with the lore of the older games but instead drops intresting world building from botw because it might have gotten actually dark

Was wondering why this particular gith face always feels like it suits baldness best and then I realized it IS in fact Orpheus' face model, Orph just has different unique ears.

#he almost had purple-blue eyes but I've wanted to use that pink on *someone*#I have vague plans for a gith from creche y'llek who was the first gith to be shown mercy by ko'kuu #think I might use him for that #blasting him with the agonizing chronic pain beam. sorry #might call him solir which is funny because it's actually the name of a sun god in one of my homebrew campaigns #but that could work for a gith born in the monastery basement of the morninglord's temple #also: cleric. for fun and profit.#realized the orph thing when I also made him yellow RIP oh well. maybe he'll be sympathetic to orpheus' plight finally #not playing him yet I have too many other characters on the docket at the moment but I keep turning his concepts around in my head #so I wanted a visual to go with #doubly glad I didn't go with the spots ko'kuu has because I think Orph has the same ones underneath those tattoos #but I like the concept of recognition as sympathy in that sense: why ko'kuu fought for him; why he might in turn fight for orpheus #hmm #we'll see #I also wanted to see what Xa'rok looked like with these spots on because in my brain they have spots on their neck (more along the sides)#but I wasn't convinced #alas #I also like that one spot pattern with the spots on the chin.#also considered a body 1 gith for this concept but again the faces vex me. I'm FINALLY through with Dressrosa which means I'll be seeing our main man again soon, but now I'm thinking about how long I'm going to be in Whole Cake Island... like it took me a (relatively) long time to get through Dressrosa and Sanji wasn't even there for most of it! With WCI I'm going to be pausing every 5 minutes to get screenshots! Lord help me, I'm going to be stuck there for the rest of my life...

#I've got mixed feelings about wci‚ I can't decide if I'm looking forward to it or not #on the one hand‚ SANJI'S THERE WOOOO MY GUY I MISSED YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOU #but on the other hand he has such a terrible fucking time there and it genuinely makes me kinda sad seeing my fave like that #when I read the manga I remember blasting through wci as fast as I could cuz I didn't like seeing sanji so fucked up #but anime arcs always take a lot longer to get through...#PLUS I dunno if this is just me but I don't really like his wci outfits at all??#the prince outfit looks kinda ridiculous and I don't think a fully white tuxedo suits him at all #which I'm pretty sure is the whole point of course #people parading around like they're better than everyone else are probably going to dress kinda ridiculous #and him being forced to wear a tux that doesn't suit him fits the whole theme of him not belonging there #so like...
